Well I am always very sceptic about early goals since it generally means that the other team will reverse the score and win. Sassuolo needs these three points so much to avoid relegation. Maybe they need it more than Milan since they are relatively secure in the second place. |

Who would have thought that Lens would lose against a lowly team like Metz and they would have to go home without taking a point in this match. Of course the result is surprising and detrimental for Lens because their chances of winning are very big. However, Metz, who lost in a row in their previous three matches, wanted to give a different result, especially in front of their fans, so they couldn't afford to lose again and it all paid off by beating Lens.

I don't think Luton Town is a threat to Manchester City, I don't underestimate them, but I believe Manchester City can win when the whistle signals the start of the match. With Manchester City's current performance being strong, I believe they can win, although as you said they will probably rest their best players to face the match with Real Madrid which is indeed a big match and the one they are playing against is a strong team in their league.
Luton Town aren't doing good in these first 10 minutes of the game. Haaland first attack in the first minute surprised them. Although the goalkeeper saved the shot, yet they couldn't clear it and that cost them a lot. Like the first game of the league, it's a game with a lot of goals. Girona scored early and Atletico responded with three goals. Griezmann and Morata are playing excellently. I was expecting a game like this, Girona's fall continues and Atletico has set its sights on third place. After this game, the points difference is down to four. This round, there will be an interesting match between Atletico Madrid home against Girona.
Atletico Madrid are far by 7 points from Girona and a victory could reduce the gap but essentially keep them away from Athletic Bilbao just behind them, so they wouldn't drop from Champions League spots.
For Girona, every victory done will make them more secure to play Champions League next season.
Odds are better for Atletico Madrid and personally I go with a draw.

It was a worrying result for PSG last night.  They lost against Barcelona home by 3-2 you know. They are already comfortable with winning the Ligue 1 title but their main goal has always been to win the Champions League title. But in this way their job is more difficult. If Luis Enrique can't make it then he might also join the managers to be parted ways with soon... PSG are not even voted among the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this season. Barcelona headcoach, Xavi Hernandez will only relaxed his mind because his boys have been outstanding and performing the top job this season. Atalanta isn't that top as they used to be in Italy. Just few days ago they were beaten by Cagliari in Serie A and just before they were defeated by Fiorentina in Coppa Italia. Mind you both these teams aren't ok. Here there is double surprise, the defeat of one of the contenders for the title in their home and the defeat by a large score which is worrying. I wonder what they can do in the second leg in Bergamo! Milan lost too in their home without scoring any goal. We know Roma under De Rossi command showed us with improvement performance in Serie-A, of course this is not an opponent to be underestimated for Milan. It seems that a 1-goal win is not enough to ensure Milan can qualify for the next round. Milan must be able to win the match and keep a clean sheet in this match so in the 2nd leg, Milan can play more relaxed to maintain their lead and success to go to the next round.

This is another interesting match in the quarterfinals of the season. PSG, who played at home and were favorites, ultimately failed to win the match. Honestly, I'm not surprised by what happened, of course because I think PSG doesn't have good squad depth in their midfield. Barcelona has Gundogan, Roberto and De Jong as midfielders, while PSG relies on Vitinha, Lee Kang-in and Fabian Ruiz as midfielders. It was clear that Barcelona had the advantage there even though they actually had several young players in their line-up in the first half.
Barcelona took an early lead over PSG before Dembele equalized the score at 1-1 in the second half. Vitinha gave PSG a 2-1 lead over Barcelona 3 minutes after Dembele's goal, but Xavi's response in changing strategy really made Barcelona take control of the game even though they lost possession of the ball. Barcelona won in the first leg, it was in line with what I expected.
I really didn't think that Barcelona could beat PSG when they played away. In fact, I thought that even if Barcelona played at home, they would definitely lose to PSG, but it turned out to be completely unexpected. Because the results are quite surprising. Even though the total score is not that good, victory after victory can take them to the next round. And Barcelona must always maintain and improve it optimally. Rapinha, this time really played and was really cool. He managed to score 2 goals which made it possible for Barcelona. Indeed, there is no doubt how they managed to beat PSG at home. I expected personally to see a draw between PSG and Barcelona since both teams aren't in their best form and I might be influenced by yesterday's games results. Anyway, today's result is one step backward for PSG and they are now expected to leave from that stage. PSG should seriously reconsider their strategy without Mbappe and with a new coach and maybe management as a whole. |

Mbappe has already been offered options. If he has decided to leave the team, we must say that the possibility of him returning is very low. Mbappe will not stay in the team, but if a surprise happens and he stays in the team, then he will act as if he has an advantage over other players. This creates a risky situation for the team.
So far, I never heard Mbappe has an option to stay in PSG a longer time. Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract with PSG, he has decided to leave PSG after this season ends. It is a perfect time to leave because PSG has no longer ability to force him staying. Mbappe is free to move to any team he wants, he can accept any offer to his next team. Considering this matter, I don't see a chance for him to surprise us by staying at PSG again. What's the point of a top player like Mbappe to stay in France? Bayern Munich whether they win big whether they lose points. I find them weaker than what they used to be in the past while gunners are doing better in their league. We will see which one will win the game in the end.
Honestly I was surprised seeing people predicting that Real Madrid will beat Manchester City with a very good goal margin. I began to understand why people lose in betting. Anyone who understands football will not at any time on direct a team like Manchester City. I did not mean that Real Madrid is not estable team but I think Manchester City is more stable and consistent than Real Madrid of today. From the beginning of the season when vinicius was not around it was Jude Bellingham that was moving the club ahead. It seems like Real Madrid glory lies in the hands of few individual players. But this cannot be said of Manchester City because anyone could do the job for them. I believe that Real Madrid cannot overturn this match in as much as Manchester City remains consistent. Meanwhile, Guardiola is yet to introduce Kevin in the midfield. This means that there is another heavyweight sitting on the bench. In the other hand Real Madrid top players are booked. This will make it difficult for them to succeed in the second leg of this meeting if the eventually escaped today. It is an interesting match to watch. Edit: Score line changed Real 2:1 City Any match in Champions League containing Real Madrid on it, is unpredictable! Betting in the middle of the game will not increase the chances of bettors to win. Despite of being behind, Real Madrid players are always able to score several goals in short amount of time. In today's game, they were able to comeback once and secure the draw in their home. The match between Juventus and Fiorentina has finished and Juventus has become the winner, as expected by Juventus fans. Hopefully Juventus will remain in the top three of the standings and maintain its performance to always give the best.
Juventus is weaker than what used to be in the past. The close past wasn't that beautiful either. I could not safely say that they will remain in a Champions League spot with all the negative results they had earlier. Their victory against Fiorentina was good certainly but Fiorentina isn't that fit either.

Cristiano Ronaldo could have a positive impact for sure in this game but I find Al-Hilal way better this season.
Referring to match data statistics, Cristiano Ronaldo did not really have a positive contribution or impact in this match. In fact, Ronaldo was given a red card in the 86th minute. Well Cristiano Ronaldo was pissed by referee decisions especially for the canceled goal and some of Al-Hilal players know how to escalate tension and cause drama. I watched the red card and I can tell that I don't see why Cristiano Ronaldo took it? I can understand that a yellow card might be justified but red card? I didn't see anything harmful on what he did honestly. It might be an angle issue but the drama caused after the elbow made the referee took that decision. Overall, Al-Hilal is better like what I said. |

Its an interesting showdown at the Stadio Friuli as Udinese play hosts to table toppers inter Milan and the first half of the game just ended with the hosts leading by a goal. It's a bit surprising that it's not Simeone Inzaghi's men taking the lead because right from the beginning, they had been calling the shots, leaving Udinese to defend their lines aggressively, ensuring that Inter try not to take the lead in the first half
We are in the last 20 minutes of the game and the result is still Udinese 1 - 1 Inter Milan. Indeed it was surprising to see Inter receiving a goal even though they were dominating the game. They scored and got the draw at the beginning of the second half anyway but they should add another goal to extend the lead in Serie A. Odds are still in their favour to win, yet they are running out of time.. |

Actually, from the records shown here ,2022 -2024 even though I won't put into account the 2022 that Ronaldo hasn't yet joined Al Nassar, but from 2023, Al Hilal still has majority of wins ,well Everything is currently in their favor to still win this game tonight even judging base on their current forms and positions in the Saudi professional league table, however I don't know if the presence of Christiano Ronaldo would change our perception about this game tonight and we have Al Nassar winning in the end.
Cristiano Ronaldo could have a positive impact for sure in this game but I find Al-Hilal way better this season. I see two of Al-Hilal midfielders taking yellow cards, they should be more vigilant to avoid red cards which can turn down the expected victory of their team. The winner of this game will face Al-Ittihad in the final match and seeing how Al-Ittihad playing, I assume the winner of this game will lift the Cup. Al-Hilal are few steps only from being declared champion in Saudi Pro League and they shouldn't miss this opportunity to have two titles. |
