121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Casino Game Has the Best Odds? on: April 19, 2024, 10:05:11 PM

Whether you're a seasoned gambler or new to the casino floor, understanding which games offer the best chances of winning can significantly enhance your gaming experience. Share your experiences, ask questions, and get insights into which games statistically give players an edge.
Whether it’s house edge percentages, player strategies, or personal anecdotes, let’s uncover the most player friendly games out there.

All levels of experience are welcome  Smiley

I'm not sure what you mean, house still wins at the day, RTP are pretty much the same across as they are mandated by law. Sport betting odds would come to Las Vegas so there's not much difference in every casinos. And they don't want for someone to play arbitrage and take advantage of huge swing odds.

And as others have stated, games are purely luck base so there's no way that you can quantify it, unless you are either lucky or not.

So go try different casinos, and see how the experience for you, instead of just asking for advise as everyone could have different answers.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 18, 2024, 11:04:17 PM
Here is the final press conference of the fight,

Good to see that it is finally going to happen, Oscar says that the tickets is selling so be it. So this is game 7, 3-3 on amateur so obviously, this is going to settle everything and the winner going to be the face of boxing.

And there is a side bet of $500,000 that Ryan will not make the weight according to the Haney's.

So let's see tomorrow in the weigh-in and then in the actual fight.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 18, 2024, 10:44:26 PM
I thought Boots is one of those fighters that will remain loyal and worships Al Haymon even if there are bigger offers outside. Well, at least he proved his loyalty in the past when he rejected the offer of Crawford for the WBO belt and then bark like a stupid dog when Crawford unified all the belts and clearly has no intention of remaining in the division.

Boots has the skills and power but he is untested. Eddie and DAZN have the deepest pockets in the sport while also partnered with Saudi Arabia. Maybe Crawford should vacate all the remaining belts now and let the young guns fight each other.

Hopefully with this move, Ennis will be more active this year under Eddie Hearn. Who knows, maybe we can see him and Benn fighting this year?

As long as Ennis opponent is not just second tier boxer and again being active, I think this is a good move for him. The thing with Hearn though is that his fighters are not exclusive for him, I mean he can try to negotiate an fight others in the other stable to exposed his boxers.

So let's see who will be his initial opponent being a Matchroom boxer.

You can listen in this interview and see what his plans his,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8bsQ-pGFbg

And it's obvious that he want all the smoke at 147 lbs, Crawford, Spence. He can get this fight if the money is right. The good thing is that he will stay active now, and he can go global, meaning it will include exposure in Saudi as Eddie Hearn is one of the most powerful promoter in that side of Middle East now.

If we look at the rankings, the Canadian Cody Crowley is his mandatory.

Yes, even before that video surfaces, I was hinting that a Cody Crowley fight is good for Ennis, just to stay active and answer all those criticism of not fighting his mandatory since he has been reinstated as a full pledge champion now and not just a interim belt holder.

So this could be a great fight, and he can show his tools and wares and what's the hype is all about for him and why Crawford says that he doesn't want to fight Ennis for now. And then after Crowley, he can call Spence and Bud Crawford again and for me he deserves a title shot or at least bodies should put pressure specially on Crawford to fight Ennis.

Well, talk is cheap. Ennis talked about being the best in the division and yet he did not put strong pressure on Errol Spence to execute his IBF mandate. And it's a fact that he ducked Crawford when offered for the WBO belt. That lame excuse that Al Haymon treated him well so they want PBC to promote his fights and not of Crawford's choice who's actually the champion. And then he barked about wanting Crawford later when he unified all the belts. So he was willing to fight outside PBC then or he was just bluffing.

Now that he is out of PBC, Matchroom is more than willing to offer him fights to other promoters too. We'll see if he calls the other top tier guys because I doubt Crawford or even Spence are interested at 147.

In my opinion, he could have been chasing the two best boxers in 147 lbs, but it's that circumstances are not in his favor. He has been calling them, but it seems the PBC is lock already with Spence Jr facing Crawford for a unification fight and one of the biggest last year.

So I doubt that PBC will have to postponed that or the governing body not forcing the mandatory because it's a huge fight.

And after winning all the belts, Crawford is no longer interested on him. It's a career move, we can't blame him for that leaving PBC. And most likely Eddie Hearn could have sweetened the deal and has good offers money wise for Ennis.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 18, 2024, 10:24:25 PM
I remember the days when online crypto gambling sites offered us the option to invest directly into their bankroll (like the one in my sig). Nowadays, it's hard to find one that does. The only I've found is Bitvest. But activity on the site is quite low compared to its rivals.

I was wondering if it's still worth investing in an online casino's bankroll? If it is, could you share where can I invest my BTC? Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

There are still some gambling platforms that offers investment directly, thru Bitcoin or their native token. Unfortunately it's no longer the hype and those investors could have lost money as well as there could be months that the casino is losing money unfortunately.

There's one user who share his gambling investment and it looks like it didn't turn out to be good,  GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT.

So I would stir away from this kind of options for now, it's not viable as it was once was in maybe 2015-2018 era.

Hey tennis fans (I'm still is, hasn't been active and posting here), but it's good to hear Nick interviewing Naomi Osaka,-  Good Trouble With Nick Kyrgios

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjMhYSlLQZ0

And it's good to hear Osaka being not a tennis player, talking about business and her life outside of tennis. Good interviewer as well for Nick, maybe he finally found his passion,  Grin.

She also talk about Kobe's influence and impact on her and the Williams sister too.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin is no longer digital cash? on: April 18, 2024, 09:41:15 PM
I ask this question because I wonder what Bitcoin will become now that the financial institutions and meme coin advocates have taken over.

If Bitcoin is not peer-to-peer electronic cash then how do you see it?

Are we just talking here because of the transaction fees again? And Bitcoin and meme coin on the same sentence? Hmm. I don't have the numbers but as per my speculation, average joe like you and me and the regulars here are far greater than this financial institutions.

They could have been here as early as 2017, but still though in the beginning, Bitcoin was for the masses and will remain that way.

And it still peer-to-peer electronic cash as far as I know, we even have Lightning Network for small and faster micro-payments.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect Nigeria ban on Binance P2P traders on: April 18, 2024, 12:16:06 AM
As others have said, there should be no effect on Nigeria as their crypto enthusiast can still continue with crypto trading. And for example, in the Philippines, List of Things To Do Now That Binance is Banned in the Philippines. So it's a total block of the country, but still the Philippines is one of the most active in Asia as far as crypto goes.

There could be effects in the beginning, but for sure, those traders or investors from Nigeria will have to find a way just like what the Filipinos do in this community.

So yeah, there could be ways to circumvent it, but we are not going to advise for everyone to do that because of the risk involved.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 17, 2024, 10:28:58 PM

Tank should really take the risk and fight Shakur or Loma or any other name fighter at 135 lbs and should be hiding on the reasoning that he doesn't want to lose his 0. His been well protected already by PBC.

They just obviously giving him more comfort after winning a big fight against Garcia and to be honest, they really need to do that since he can't find some worthy opponent that won't have much risk nowadays because all of the top boxers in their weight division are threats in his clean record. They actually and carefully pick his next opponent so that he won't have a hard time increasing his wins and at the same time keeping his popularity at the peak of his career right now.

As mentioned, Shakur Stevenson or Loma is a good fight for Tank Davis. If he is looking for a good dance partner then that 2 boxers is good for him. But PBC doesn't want to negotiate with them. We haven't heard Davis calling this two fighters for all we know.

So there is no way that they will ignore or continue to cherry pick fighters for Tank. He has been protected for so long already. They need to set him up out of his comfort zone and see the best version of him. Otherwise he will be stuck in this loop and could be wasting the best time of his boxing career by not fighting the best in his division or even afraid to go to 140 lbs because competitions are hard.

Another one of their giveaways,

https://twitter.com/Meta_Winners/status/1780255775954215145

Who wouldn't like $100 worth of ETH? Still have time to join this party, and hopefully we can with it.
I was about to join but I saw on their X account that they already picked a winner. I need to frequent more on X to not miss these type of giveaways. Congratulations to the guy who won.

They really generous when it comes to their competitions and giveaways huh.

Yeah, sometimes I will be just in the nick of time to join their giveaways, but no dice for me. Or sometimes because of time difference, I will be late too. Just be on the watch for their official X account and who knows, maybe you are one of those lucky winners.

Plus they also send emails too, so it you have a account on them, you will be updated by the platform.

As for the increase of depositors, we will never know that exact numbers, but it seems that the platform is heavily invested on their promotions, including 3 ETH, Tokenized cyber truck and others, I wouldn't be surprised that this is the case for Metawin now.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 17, 2024, 09:41:09 PM
^^ Tit-for-tat. Ryan never even reacted to it and seems enjoying every moment of it. So another promotion, and yes to hype as it seems that Ryan has achieved it. Looking at social medias and boxing forum alike, it has been the talk of the town.

Nevertheless, will it translate to the actual fight? That it could either motivate Haney and Garcia to really hate each other and look for a knockout and give the fans a good fight? And there are videos of Haney saying that he is willing to go to war and the older Haney issuing "death threats" to Ryan, LOL. So that's how crazy both of them are promoting this fight and to captivate the boxing audience.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: April 16, 2024, 10:48:33 PM
Matias isn’t undefeated but he has already avenged his only loss and still has that impressive 100% win by KO ratio. Puerto Rico was once a hotbed of boxing but since Miguel Cotto retired, the island has been searching for the next great champion. Matias is in a division where if he can beat the other champions he will become a big star.

We’ve seen recently that fighters from Australia, such as Tim Tszyu, Kambosos, and the Moloney brothers, are always very durable and tough to beat. I expect Paro to win some rounds but his success will be limited. Matias’ power will just be too much and will eventually break him.

That is the thing with Matias, he is somewhat of a pressure fighter and wiling to trade blows just to get one of his power shots. Paro could be the next one coming from Australia but he is in a very tough division.

There are still some good fighters in PR though, Berlanga could be one as it was reported that he will be next in line for a Canelo fight. But yeah, like the Philippines, when Manny retired really hard to hear names that will put the country in the boxing world again, like Miguel Cotto when he was in his prime, the pride of Boricua.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 16, 2024, 10:25:32 PM
And it's just one week from this fight. But there are mix emotions whether tickets are going to be sold out or not. Garcia blame it all on Devin as he is not a crowd draw and it's just himself selling the fights.

On the other hand, fight is in New York, and the price is very expensive.

We will see then, if I'm not mistaken, the stadium can hold 19,000 so that is a lot of tickets to be sold.

It's just very expensive in New York. I remember checking tickets for their NBA team New York Knicks. That time the team was mediocre but the tickets are still more expensive than some of the top teams in the league.

Anyways, maybe it won't be sold out but pretty sure it should do decent PPV numbers if not great. But I do agree that Haney does not sell PPVs. Because he is obviously boring to watch. His last fight was sold out because he is a native of San Francisco. What makes a fighter really marketable is its ability to sell PPVs worldwide.

According to this article below, they are not selling well.
https://www.boxingnews24.com/2024/04/ticket-sales-for-haney-vs-garcia-a-trainwreck-in-slow-motion/

Quote
Price Drops = Panic Mode Recently, in a desperation move, DAZN dropped the PPV price from $80 to $69.99 for the Haney vs. Garcia event. But that might not be enough to save this sinking ship of the event. With 12 days to go, DAZN might need to slash the prices in half for the event to save this vessel from going under completely.

Source: Ticket Sales For Haney Vs. Garcia: A Trainwreck In Slow Motion - Boxing News 24 (https://www.boxingnews24.com/2024/04/ticket-sales-for-haney-vs-garcia-a-trainwreck-in-slow-motion/)

Haney choose Garcia to get a good PPV numbers but it seems like it's not doing well. It's different from the fight of Garcia vs Davis because both are warriors, not boring to watch in short. This fight, Haney is just too good and since he is expected to control the fight, it is also expected that it will go his way and would result to a boring fight.

And this could really be the point of contention of Ryan as we have heard news that he might pull out because of poor tickets sales. But it's done now, he might have to blame Oscar again for putting the fight in New York.

Most likely this is the reason as well why Garcia is trolling Haney in his last Twitter post.

It's funny that you will really need to pass and not get all serious with all the Ryan's tweet recently. Although it shows that there could be another mental breakdown coming in his fight after this fight.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It takes the balls... on: April 16, 2024, 10:00:27 PM
Yes, not only balls but money as well. Most people who want to accumulate Bitcoin don't have enough money for the accumulation and that's why they miss the dips while others who have money often miss the dips in hope to see more intense dips. Bitcoin is already down and anyone who knows that it's a great opportunity should try his/her best to accumulate some of it.

Yeah, more than anything else, we definitely need money to buy in dips. And most of the time, people are willing to buy because we know how the price will go in the future. But for some, the timing must be off and so we all go back to DCA and there's nothing wrong with that.

And it's not like the dip is huge, the price is still above $60,000 but if someone here has that huge capital then why not buy it as the OP suggested. And this could be the last opportunity, halving is just days away and so this is a perfect chance for everyone before it's too late as we might see a parabolic rise after this.

135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 14, 2024, 09:36:23 PM
It's supposedly Frank Martin vs Shakur Stevenson but it was called off. I think Martin is not ducking Shakur, but incentive wise, it was reported that he is going to make at least $1 million and could not be satisfied of that amount.

So for sure there are a lot of upside for him to go and fight a even more dangerous boxer in Tank Davis. They have history as said, sparring sessions that goes and there are reports that Martin hold his ground and give Tank Davis all he can eat. But for me, Martin is more of a volume puncher and he doesn't carry power to knock down Tank Davis and on the other hand, he could taste his first defeat here.

As Martin had previous experience inside the ring with Davis, though only during sparring sessions, we can give that he has somehow idea what Davis can do, what strengths/weaknesses he has. And it may help him think of strategies on how to possibly defeat him in actual fight.

Not the same with this boys is sparring, even if there is a video going around as whether Martin got the better of Tank, or some stories around saying that Tank was mad and wanted to get revenge, this sparring it might not be enough to assessed who are going to win if this is a real fight.

But on this fight, more than likely, Davis will be the heavy favourite. Let us see what odds bookies will give to this match. Both are undefeated and on this fight, one will suffer his first loss. That is, if the fight will not end in draw.

So far no odds yet, but I do agree that Davis is going to be a big favorite here. I wouldn't be surprised if the line goes to 4:1 Martin as underdog. Too early for Frank Martin to chase the likes of Tank Davis or even Shakur Stevenson. He needed more experience under his belt to fight this elite at 135.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 14, 2024, 09:06:38 PM
There is no denying that to be a great boxer and cementing his legacy, he will have to cross that border to the US and fight and let's see how he will fair with the Americans. He could beat them all for all we know and what manner.

But the thing is that we don't know how Inoue is when face unfamiliar situations, maybe he had feel this before when he fights in the US and that's why he doesn't want to experience it again.

So far the toughest challenge Inoue experienced was his first fight against the legendary Nonito Donaire and it was also in Japan. Inoue passed that test with flying colors. So it shows he can adjust and handle very tough situations. And he just became better after that. But I expect his body to start diminishing slowly as he age.

All of Inoue's fights outside Japan were dominant victories and ended in knockouts. I think Inoue is willing to travel everywhere as shown in the past. But Bob Arum and ESPN has to give higher purse if they want Inoue to fight outside Japan because the country is also very rich and is capable of bringing big events at home.

I would agree that money could be what holding Inoue's to fight outside Japan. But maybe what fans and other former boxer want for him is to be expose with different audience. Again, we don't want him to be compare to again Asian great, Manny Pacquiao. But Manny took the hard road and make a name for himself by fighting bigger names in the US.

And now that he is in the peak of his career, he should expose himself to the US boxing fans. Yes, there are Saudi and other nations that he can fight, but there is no denying that US is still the home of boxing.

138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: April 13, 2024, 10:19:51 PM
In the last hour, the price of bitcoin saw a drastic decline. There are a lot of bitcoins being dumped and this has set the market on fire. I'm not sure if you really dare to make the decision to buy a lot when the price is dumping like this, but I think this is the right time.

Another correction, price is right pegged at $62,000. And I don't see it though declining further. Maybe there are negative news that pull the price down, but it won't last long as we are near the halvening day.

The price fell almost to $60k in the last hour, while a potential decline is still possible ahead of the halving. The market really seemed to be on fire in the last 2 days, even I and all holders had to accept the fact that my estimated asset value dropped significantly. So, if you really want to get returns in the long term then get bitcoin at the current discount price. Don't ignore the opportunity.

Yes, most likely the case of nearing the halvening and then price decline. Not sure what the logic behind this, maybe some whales wanted to control the market and bring the price down before the date itself. But still though, average joe like the majority of can take advantage of this decline and continue to accumulate as much as we can. It's not bad to be greedy at this point and exploit the given opportunity to us.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal Books on: April 13, 2024, 09:22:16 PM
There are a plethora of illegal books, many run by college students, young adults and even teens. How secure are these websites??
What I am really asking is how easy (possible) would it be to hack the site and change a users balance without being detected??

Haven't heard of this kind of bookies that you call illegal, not sure how they are being promoted online as obviously, there are a lot of legal and great sport bookies that we all know and why take the risk on using fly-by-night bookies by college students?

Maybe this is just within the campus and not globally though, otherwise it will have been taken down already. And for this illegal bookies, they just go and be under the radar as they don't want to be exposed and be on the authorities prying eyes. Of course, it's going to be easy to hack if they want to. So is bewildering for someone to used them. Maybe if you are a newbie in sports bookies. But if you have years of experience, I doubt that you will fall for this trick.
