1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC lawsuit caused massive market crash on: June 14, 2023, 08:54:00 PM
and its just the beginning, i wonder how much the lawsuit will affect the market in the long run, it seemed that everyone attention are around the lawsuit that
every gesture caused market to make movement in which affect the price greatly.

We can't blame news from the SEC for causing a dump on the crypto market,
because this is a bear market so all bad news that comes will cause a dump, we can't avoid it, so make sure to monitor what's going on,
maybe you can monitor it on Twitter because whatever always appears there is the fastest.

What if they don't sue Coinbase or Binance? What do you think the price will be? It's a after effect of what they did that's why the altcoin market is suffering right now. Of course, we are in a bear market and we can't stop people from selling or not buying. But if we have this kind of uncertainty and attack on the whole crypto market is general, the price is going to suffer just like what we are seeing right now.

Just in the last 4 hours though, I still have to look as to what reasons the market is going down again. For example Bitcoin is going to hit it's support level of $25k, wherein prior to that, the price is trading above it and even $26,000 for sometime.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 14, 2023, 08:37:02 PM
I would agree that Bitcoin is nearing the next leg up.  I think a little bit of concern around the mtgox situation still remains, but once that is behind us I think we'll end the year in the $40K range.  The real fireworks will begin at the end of next year though.  I think if you're holding Bitcoin here, you have to commit to holding until the 2025 top plays out just to see what you could get if the market does repeat itself again for the 4th time.  I have my concerns whether the Bitcoin economy can survive another massive price increase, but I do suspect we'll get our answer shortly after the next Presidential election in the US.

Yes, we are still being haunt by Mt. Gox up to this time.

But I'm thinking if ever we get to touch $40,000 this year, it could be the start of a bullish flag leading to to next year's block halving. So this is definitely a good price to see as again, it might be a bullish pattern is slowly emerging. But there are a lot of obstacles right now, in if you are talking about the US elections, not sure though, it seems that the Democrats attack on crypto might be their own wrongdoing, IMHO.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 14, 2023, 12:42:19 PM
Ok everything is rolling out, the press conference has kicked in, here is the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acedO6P1iKw.

The video though is too long, but in the end there is respect between the two, their trainers and the fighters themselves. So definitely fight is now on, it just feel surreal though that finally we are going to see this fight and this two promises a war. Best fighters in the world and probably for the glory and pound for pound number 1.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2023, 11:41:38 AM
Anyone saw the Gotti vs Mayweather fight?

Yeah, I can say that Gotti is a sore loser. He couldn't even throw punches when Floyd was attacking him, probably getting frustrated and seizing the opportunity to attack Floyd when the referee stopped the fight. Gotti was no match for Floyd's quickness, even with Floyd's age disadvantage. I'm not sure if it was part of the script, but if it was, then I would say they were successful, as people were talking about the fight afterward.

It's all over the social media and other boxing community.

Not sure who started it but it seems that during the fight they continue to trash talk and maybe I would say that Skip Bayless hear could also be the culprit for stopping the fight early and that's why there is a melee inside the ring as both parties trying to protect their boxers. And you can see Floyd's body guard also coming into the ring and I saw some punches throw as well. This is a disgrace to boxing.

1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 12, 2023, 03:47:55 AM

It is indeed a big break for Santiago and if he is lucky/talented enough to defeat the legendary boxer then his career will be boosted and will be aligning him to be one of the elites.

Sometimes legends need to have one good last fight before they decide to retired and this might be it if Santiago will perform well and knockout Donaire at early rounds. And I think that would be enough for Donaire to conclude his career and give a chance for the younger figthers to shine in this era and make their own name especially Santiago this is his chance to be on the spot light if he get the win here in this fight.

Agreed. The only reason why Donaire is still continuing his career here in boxing industry is he thinks that he can still have a good fight and defeat the younger guys at 118 but if the opposite will happen especially if he will be defeated without a doubt or worse, a KO/TKO. I think that will be an enough reason for him to believe that his time is already finished because he's not the same Donaire anymore and most probably, cannot become a champion again before he hangs up his gloves.

His initial plan though is to go to 115 lbs and fight another legend in Juan Francisco Estrada (after he beat Chocolatito). And then as fans, we have some concern though if Donaire can make 115 lbs without harming his body as we all know that he is old already.

Fortunately, Inoue decided to move up to 122 lbs and chase more belts. So Donaire chooses to stay and was given the chance to have another crack at the belt. And so this fight with Santiago is another chance for him to held the belt and put his name in the record books as the older bantamweight.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 12, 2023, 03:15:13 AM

And it now happened, WBA Super Bantamweight Champion Marlon Tapales might now be the PH boxer who has the chance to face Naoya Inoue first, instead of the expectation of the majority, that it's Casimero who is currently still climbing the 122 division rankings. Of course, Tapales meeting Inoue soon will just happen if the latter will win against Fulton.

If Stephen Fulton wins against Naoya Inoue, Marlon Tapales instead will unify his belt against him. If Fulton still wins, Tapales might meet Inoue as both will be a contender but the status of Casimero when that time comes might still be hanging because he can't even secure a big fight "for now" to somehow give him a chance to climb at a much higher rank.

There's also a possibility that later in the 122 division, a PH vs PH might face each other.

Well then, too early for these speculations mine Smiley. What matter here is, Tapales is now almost secured to have the next big fight on his timeline.

What you're saying is not entirely impossible mate because as long as Casimero will stay active and have successive fights, soon enough, his ranking will surely increase and most probably will earn himself a big fight someday. Although there might be some changes when it comes to the possible opponent of Casimero, Inoue and Tapales because I think Fulton will shuffle all the cards in time when he leaves the division and vacates the belt he is possessing, if he won his future fight with Inoue.

If Fulton will win and Inoue will stay on this current division, the chance of seeing Casimero vs Inoue might take place,
it's possible since the belt will be vacant once Fulton move up.

Though if ever Inoue will win, then the chance to see Tapales to be his next target is possible by knowing Inoue, he wanted
to unify all belts.

Let see what would be the outcome first from this upcoming fight next month.

Right, so this two scenarios are probably the best one, and if I'm not mistaken, could still be a win win for Inoue. I mean he could stay in this division and clean it up because Fulton will move up. And if Fulton move up and then doesn't want to unify with Tapales then maybe Marlon will have to wait for the title eliminator. And since the belt will be vacated, another opportunity for other boxers to enter the picture and fight for the belt.

Could be a win win for Inoue as obviously it might not take too long for him to have a chance on whoever wins the belt. Great chance as well for Casimero to move up in ranking and maybe figure out a way to be in the title contention. So let's see what scenario will take shape after this fight.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC lawsuit caused massive market crash on: June 11, 2023, 11:25:44 AM
The most worrying of all is BNB, which is in freefall and its future might be doomed if no solution is found. What's your take on this? Do you think that a solution will be found to avoid any further losses, or are governments on their way of winning the war against cryptocurrencies?

I don't consider BNB to be in a free fall. Last year it went down to $200 and found good support there. If you look at the chart, you will see that this is a serious support level and it has been tested many times since early 2021. Consequently, if the price does not fall below $200, then there is no serious reason to worry and it is just a prolonged correction. If the price drops below $200, it will mean a free fall down to levels no one knows about. You are too early to panic, nothing bad has happened yet.

Technically yes, it's not yet on the free fall, and just like Bitcoin, it has it's fair share of the price declining regardless if there was a case against Binance. Remember that we are still in the bear market so technically prices should be down at least.

And we can see that majority of the altcoins are around 80%-90% down, which is about the numbers in a bear market. I guess the question is that if this happens if the bull run, will Binance and BNB and other altcoins mentioned in the lawsuit will have a downfall or not?
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 11, 2023, 11:04:02 AM
For long term sure dude but if you see right  now a lot of bad news like bnb, Binance coin and all these create fud definitely ongoing in crypto market that's all seems to be bad sign for the current market  now we only need to wait till these fud get completely out but sure i am really excited for the upcoming year on btc halving

Yes, so far with the whole drama between SEC and Binance, it might be very difficult to us to see $40,000 at this point or for this month. But if we have to look at long term though, there is a big possibility to hit it, my best guestimate is that we might see that price before the end of the year.

It's not of a big jump though, we have seen the price goes to $31,000 this year. So if we just keep our positive attitude towards Bitcoin. Maybe in the next six month this is doable for us. But for now, it could be very difficult as SEC is trying to get ride of Binance.US and even Coinbase.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Garcia Vs Lara AUG 05 2023 SATURDAY WBA WORLD MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP on: June 11, 2023, 10:37:24 AM
Would be a good fight but won't be as excited with other title matches. We've seen fights of such and I guess fight would yield to a decision rather than a KO.

If there's a knockout Garcia is the one that could deliver it, we all know how Garcia he throws a lot of haymakers, and if these haymakers hit Lara that could be the end, but Garcia's haymaker punch could be exploited by Lara by doing a lot of counter punches if it comes down to the championship rounds which is the last three rounds Garcia could win all three rounds because he is the younger one and because is known to fade out in the championship rounds like what happen to his fight against Jarret Hurd.

I wouldn't call it a haymaker though, Garcia is known for his left hook, it's just how he is going to execute it against a technical fighter in Lara. Erislandy is a south paw, so this might give problems to Garcia as well just like in his fight against Spence wherein Spence shift and uses southpaw stance and he had a hard time hitting him with his favorite left hook.

But I do agree that one big advantage of Danny Garcia is his youth here. And another interesting fact is that Danny's father is also is as loud mouth as Teo Sr. So we might see him a lot during the hype and marketing of this fight throwing trash talk too.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 11, 2023, 10:05:32 AM
^ It's not just the speed of Lopez, but he beat Taylor on his own game, countering and being the first one to throw power punches. He has rocked Taylor in the 12th round and I thought that Lopez will go for the knockout win.

Although again, I might see the scoring of the judges as somewhat dubious, it was a like 9-3 rounds for me, as Lopez almost clearly won all the rounds for me. But two judges saw it very close though, 115-113 for Teo. Anyhow, it's already a win for him and this is his second weight class to be a champion.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 11, 2023, 09:22:39 AM
Despite all his personal problems, Teofimo managed to prevail in this fight. It was a very strong performance. I was disappointed in Taylor because it did not seem like he gave his best effort.

I think Josh has lost his touch already with all the wars in 140 lbs. He has steam rolled a lot of great and elite fighters before. But after that, it seems that in the last 2 fights, he might be showing signs of him not on his prime already.

This was a great comeback for Teo after how bad he looked in his last fight. If he had lost many would question whether he should retire but now he has the possibility of massive paydays in his future.

Right, it was a different Lopez that shows here, maybe he was really comfortable fighting a southpaw like Teo. So now he has done it, becoming the WBO boxing champion and he has leverage now. I want him to fight Prograis next for another belt. Although Prograis didn't sign with Top Rank as he is now with Match Room. Hopefully Arum and Eddie Hearn can set it up next.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 10, 2023, 01:42:17 PM
Official weigh-in for both fighters,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnB69bb8BV0

Taylor - 139.8 lbs
Lopez - 140 lbs

And now here's where the trash talking ends, they have time to rehydrate and be ready for the big fight in 24 hours. Josh Taylor is still the favorite so I'm not surprised if he actually win this fight. It might be close if a different version of Lopez shows in this fight. But if he got the wrong strategy and just want to counter then Josh might take it early and then dominate the fight in full 12 rounds.

There's also a good undercard in Xander Zayas vs Ronald Cruz. And Robson Conceicao vs Nicolas Polanco.

I'm glad that both have met the weight requirement, so there's no hindrance to this fight not pushing through. I'm excited for the fight tomorrow, not only because I'm excited to win, but also to see how Josh Taylor will punish Teo Lopez in the ring. This trash talker's mouth will be shut down by the real champion.

Yeah, they are both locked and loaded and ready to rumble tomorrow. But I am somehow disappointed as to why Top Rank or was it New York's boxing commission that did not allow both of them to have a press conference face-off and weigh-in face-off. I felt like Josh Taylor benefits from the face-offs. People are more accustomed to Teofimo Lopez's trash talks but Josh is actually not a humble dude. It's probably the reason why Teofimo was only good at talking but when the time they are near each other Teofimo is silent and it is Josh that is talking, finger-pointing, and wanted to get near to Lopez. It just so happens that Lopez is facing another bully like him but this Scottish bully is more proven and is the former undisputed champion. Lopez was fucking behaved like a good boy in the weigh-in. His useless dad was the one acting tough but he is not the one fighting though. It would've been a hell of a promotion if both Taylor and Lopez made some face-offs before fight night.

I reckon it was Top Rank who requested the security in the beginning, maybe they are expected something worst than just a shoving and pushing, just like in the Loma vs Haney fight.

So they asked for a New York Policeman to be present in the face-off and weigh-in and then more security personnel in between to separate the two. So there is the mind games, all the trash talking, now it's fight time. So we will see if Lopez can live up to his hype and who is going to go to the canvass. Sr though, giving the middle finger to the fans of Josh. Taylor, LOL. Unfortunately, it was live and the camera caught it.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 10, 2023, 01:04:32 PM
I just read about this, so I thought that you guys might be interested as well.

Quote
Errol Spence Eyeing Mega Fight If He Can Get Past Crawford

“We’re not thinking about Canelo right now, but if the fight comes on the table, I’d definitely take that fight.”

“165-168 is more my natural weight and it would be a lot easier for me to make, so I’d definitely take that fight.”
https://boxing-social.com/news/errol-spence-eyeing-mega-fight/

I mean, really? After all the wasted months of going back and forth with Terence Crawford because he's afraid and tried to buy some time even if he doesn't really admit it, people already know the real score. And now he still have the face the brag about taking Canelo Alvarez. Hands down to this man!

What do you think folks?

As what the article suggest, Spence eyeing a mega fight if he can defeat and get past Crawford.

Although it is still not that sure that it will indeed happen, I just cannot weigh it in and believe the fact that Spence is thinking about Canelo Alvarez instead of having his 100 percent focus on his upcoming fight next month because he surely knows that gravity about it as Crawford is not that kind of boxer who can be underestimated and even though he's much older, he can still give a punch that Spence could not possibly forget.

That's too early to speculate though, the focus but both fighters right now is to train hard and beat each other. Crawford is the favorite and so it will make Spence to be motivated. I saw some short reels of Spence, not sure though if this is new or old, but it seems that his hair has grown already. So I assume that he must be in deep trainer already.

I think what Spence said before is that he is willing to go up in weight at 154 lbs and then fight Charlo. Although there's too much complication on it, they have the same trainer and could have some sparring between themselves.

But for fans, let's say we should be more concern of this fight first, this is huge and for the undisputed belt.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 10, 2023, 10:17:51 AM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?

I'm one of those, so I voted Yes. I guess the majority of us here at some point in their gambling addiction is very guilty of this. Specially when we came from a big lost and said to ourselves that this is the last one, maybe we tell it to our wife or to ourselves.

But then again, when we wake up, it's one of those who keep in our mind. We have to get our revenge and so the promise of not going back to gambling is gone. Now what we feel is that itch to come back again and think that we will get back and win big.
1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your bitcoin May/June price analysis? on: June 10, 2023, 09:57:29 AM
Beginning in June I was optimistic that the market would soon reach $ 30k, unfortunately too many FUDS so that the market continues to be corrected, the best thing now is to continue to buy and make bitcoin as a long -term asset, I predict if the bear market is not over and maybe until August

The bearish will end in June I'm sure it's because in August Bitcoin will reach $ 40k to $ 50k so hopefully,
however we have to be patient and analyze it well, if you don't hold then you can regret it later when August comes.

Wow, do you see the future though to say accurately that in August we will reach $40,000 or more? Everyone here is just making a wild and educate guess and unless you have the TA to back it up then it's hard to believed you, to be honest.

In any case, we have seen that the price is really on the sideways since like April or start of May. There's no major breakout, except when we reach as high as $31,000 and we thought that it could be sustainable but it's not as the price goes down hard and then we have the SEC vs Binance that really affect the price this week.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cautionary campaign about Bitcoin on: June 10, 2023, 09:44:52 AM
Already everything bitcoin related is banned in our country still we are using bitcoin but recently government of our country may be more strict about using bitcoin. NAGAD, the popular mobile banking service of our country, is currently conducting a cautionary campaign in various ways to transact through Bitcoin in our country. They are using social media and leaflets as part of the campaign. Since we are involved with Bitcoin, these things seem scary to us. I already have some investment in Bitcoin and I am thinking of investing some more but at this time news like this is making me weak mentally.
I don't know what we should do at this point.

So sorry to hear that your country is turning into anti-bitcoin. So I guess you being a bitcoiner might take a lot of risk of buying it. Why not get a wallet though that you have total control? maybe a hardware wallet will do or even Electrum to some extend.

But then again, it's the question on how strict your government is, I don't know what the punishment will be if they every caught you with bitcoin. But if you are willing and knows how to hide your track then the risk might be worth, IMHO. Best of luck to you.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 09, 2023, 03:50:36 PM
Again, we might have to hate Teo Lopez and his father, the antics and everything. So I think this fight is going to sell, but I doubt that it can be close to like 200k PPV in the US. But I guess those numbers might be good for this 2 boxers, specially that Teo Lopez is fighting a non-American. And maybe the fans of Taylor is going to watch it from UK.

I forgot the link on the article that popped up on my social media account but it said that this fight can be watch live and for free on Top Rank's facebook account and youtube channel so with that i don't think that this Josh Taylor's defense of his belt will sell huge number on PPV or is this will be sold on PPV with Top Rank broadcasting this for free?

Oh is that so? maybe it is going to be on ESPN for sure as this is Top Rank and maybe that is why it is going to be free. Not sure how Top Rank is going to make money for this, but for sure the boxers would received their paycheck already from Top Rank himself and ESPN.

In any case, if it is for free then watch this fight whenever we can. Let's see if Teo Lopez can back up his trash talking, or Josh Taylor remains to be the top dog in this division and continue with the defense of his remaining belts at 140 lbs.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 09, 2023, 03:26:34 PM
At least on the schedule of title fights, Casimero have time to increase his ranks until next year to be able to be considered as one of the worthy opponent of an undisputed champion after Tapales and the winner of Fulton - Inoue fight which is somehow has a huge chance to be scheduled on Dec.

I am looking forward for Casimero to battle it out against the top contender of his weight division in order to make himself worthy of being the mandatory challenge of the undisputed champion next year.

Casimero is really good, but he has been hit by unfortunate circumstances in his life. He could have moved up when he was still a champion in the bantamweight division, but he did something stupid that led to the organization stripping him of his belt, which was then taken by Inoue with ease. Since I truly believe that Casimero deserves a chance to fight the best, I hope that the Inoue vs. Casimero fight will happen in the super bantamweight division.

We also need to add that he is not getting any younger as well, so that is one factors that he needs to look at, it will be one of the factors if he wanted to become a champion again in the super bantamweight division.

He is rank 5 if I'm not mistaken by WBO, the organization that gave him several chances to redeem himself while he was their champion. And yet, he was given a special opportunity and he is steady climbing in ranks. And I do hope that we won't have the mental lapses that he did before so that he still have time to become a champion.

Yes, that is a big factor on his side, but he seems to be still possesses that power even if he has moved up in weight class. We did see that he rocked Nghitumbwa in their fight, but it was just that he was too big for Casimero that's why he is hard to knockout as Nghitumbwa has rehydrated.

But in any case, he was given the chance so for sure he will not take that for granted. His new Japanese manager should look for better opponent next with the likes of Luis Nery. That will be an explosive fight but I think Casimero has a good chance to win it. Nery has a good rank, so if ever he beat him, he might be in line for the title next. If not then maybe another fight.

I don't think that players though are going to look at RTP. I must admit that in the beginning, before I played slots on online crypto based platforms, I don't know about it.  However, even if I understand what RTP is, I just played on slot machines that I enjoyed and wanted to test. So for that is the key, just enjoy the game whether the machine is defined as high volatility.

Just remember that this is pure luck base game, so whatever the RTP is, if lady luck smile on you on your first spin then you might hit the bonus round or give you a good payout.
