1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 25, 2023, 09:36:14 PM
This actually happens if there is a similar thread I'll lock this thread.

My friend invited me for a round of drinks just last night to confess something, and that is his wife threatened to leave their house and file for legal separation because the wife just discovered that he's spending a lot of time gambling, she thought that he's just playing games but she discovered his logged because the idiot has his password in the browser, so the wife check his withdrawal and voila his losing a lot of money and she also discovered that he won big money in the past but didn't tell her.

I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big. Cheesy

How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story.

No, the thing me and my wife gamble as well, so there is no conflict between us. Maybe if I'm the only gambler then perhaps I will be in the same situation with your friend and it's really going to be very difficult decision for him specially that it seems that he is already addicted to gambling.

But as you have said, your friend chooses to stop gambling for now and let his wife be happy for that decision. However, I have a feeling that he might comeback soon in gambling though. So I advise you to check from time to time how your friend is doing or even talk to his wife first and see if he completely stop his gambling activity or maybe he is hiding it again.
1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Reaches $27605 - Will the Downtrend Continue?" on: May 25, 2023, 09:25:01 PM
But I guess, many traders are still learning as well and they have a hard time responding right to the situation. Most of them are selling because of worries that it turns down low (cut-loss strategy) which is supposed not to do that. It is very important that a trader must know how to hold as well thinking that the market design isn't consistently growing high, it drops also and even it takes a little bit longer before it recovers. Now, if we just keep using this strategy, we end up losing more.
This habit occurs because they are consumed by fud issues which make them worry in making decisions.  Selling at a low price is a pretty bad choice because they think the price will drop deeper even though there is only a small correction. Indeed, in the past few days we have seen a more stable btc price movement where the price movement occurred at $ 27k and fell to $ 26k.

Therefore, as wise traders, we must have a stable coin or Usdt to take advantage of the opportunity to buy and enter gradually. Market conditions will take time to recover so we have to be patient and not be swayed by the fud news circulating out there. Optimism in one own establishment that can grow self-confidence when the market is red like today.
If they are affected by a FUD it can mean that they still lack in knowledge but once they became a pro, they won't complicate things anymore. Selling at a low price is not bad as long as you are still in profit and it's even normal for a trader to sell at a loss. They can still trade again and make that money they have lost earlier. Stable coins are not really necessary. There are no stable coins before but we can still be able to buy a crypto.

Or just try to reshuffle their investments around and squeeze profits to other coins. So yeah it's not that bad as long as you know what you are doing and you are experience with it. Otherwise if this is the first time that you are going to try it, then it might be a bad approach as you can bury yourself in it and lose more money in the end. It takes a lot of courage for newbie to enter this strategy. So I might be thinking that they are just affected by the FUD and just selling at a lose right now. The only thing they can learn from it though is experience and as they go along the way, it might be good for them in the end.

There is also a risk in stable coins nowadays so we must be vigilant when we hold them. Indeed the market is getting stable lately. I think that indicates that we are now ready to go up again so for now, its safe to say that the downtrend have stopped.

It's seems to subside though, lots of stable coins are not 'stable', unlike before wherein majority of them have de-pegged. Anyway, this May may not be a good month for all of us, but we should still stick with the market. Don't forget that we are still in the bear market. So technically, prices will tend to go down hard anytime.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 25, 2023, 09:09:42 PM
Anyone knows who is going to be Haney next opponent? Wonder how he would look when he would defence his belts. I wonder if Loma and Haney would ever meet again. Fans would love to see their second fight, it would answer all the questions, but I think both, Loma and Haney are not looking forward for another fight.

As for a rematch between Loma and Haney, there's a slight chance that it will happen as aside from there's no rematch clause in their contract, Haney's side is already looking forward to see the next chapter and a chapter that doesn't have Loma on it. We may have our own speculations in Haney's next foe, but as per rumors, it's considered that it will be between Shakur Stevenson or Gervonta Davis.

Shakur is wanting the fight.  He even stated that he don't need any tune up fight and can fight straight against Haney.[1]

Quote
“Nah, I don’t need one more fight [at 135 pounds]. I’m ready to fight [Haney] as soon as he’s ready. He just fought. So as soon as he’s settled down and can get himself together, I’m ready to fight,” said Stevenson.

On the other hand, Haney stated that the match between him and Tank Davis may come sooner: Devin Haney: Me & Tank Is A Massive Fight; It’s Gonna Happen Sooner Than Later

No matter who Haney pick, I think it will be another interesting match.

[1] https://www.boxingscene.com/stevenson-haney-better-expected-vs-loma-hes-no-1-not-long-its-time-we-fight--174867

Yes, as what we say, all roads lead to Haney now as he is still the undisputed champion. And it really depend on his team and his father, which fight makes sense, in terms of money and maybe the legacy. This is his last fight with Top Rank and Shakur is with that promotional banner. On the other hand if he goes back to Matchroom then who knows how the negotiation might turn out.

So yeah, it's going to be interesting fight either man, but maybe Haney might also considering moving up to 140 lbs. I mean there could be money in either of the fights but it's a question whether his body will allow him to squeeze to 135 without any issues because for sure it might affect him negatively.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 25, 2023, 08:51:13 PM

Whenever in Fútbol or boxing, even in any other sport, as I have said before, what he has to put in is a lot of brains, but here things can change when he not only puts in muscle and technique, the strategies in any sport are what will make us better than others, and intelligence will always be the prototype that will distinguish us all, as far as I am concerned, at least in boxing I like it better when a fight is not focused technically, because it seems boring, so don't take away the emotion from this.

I disagree, technical fighters are great to watch as long as they are not a match between two technical defensive boxer (this match will make its viewer fell asleep lol).  There are technical offensive boxer like Lomachenco and Pacquiao where they can adjust their boxing style according to the strategy of their opponent.   It is better to watch two technical aggressive boxer than just two aggressive boxer where two aggressive boxer often ends up like  street brawl.

Yeah, that's why many fans around the world really love Manny Pacquiao because of his aggressive style, and during his prime he is one of the best. As compare to Floyd though who is more technical and defensive fighter and there is a love-hate relationship between him and the fans alike.

Lara vs Wood had their final press conference and weigh-in. This should be a banger fight. Leigh Wood though, the underdog at 3:1.

While Jack Catterall is huge favorite against Darragh Foley, this might not go to distance.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bengali (বাংলা) Translation of Bitcoin White Paper on: May 24, 2023, 09:44:51 PM
Hi Guys. I am not sure to which board this thread should belong. Let me know if it fits better on some other board. I have been in Bitcoin For the last couple of years. But, I never bothered to read the Bitcoin White paper. Yesterday, I downloaded the Bitcoin White paper to read and understand it. The problem is I am not 100% native in English, so I was wondering If I could find a Bengali Translation of the Bitcoin White paper; that would be awesome. Then I realized the Bengali Translation is already available on Bitcoin.org. I downloaded the PDF and prepared it to print. Before I printed it, I decided to look at it, and I was shocked that I didn't understand almost anything. The translation was done by Tonmoy Sarkar (I did not find any activity in his Github) and Shafiun Miraz (His Twitter account is suspended).

Now you may ask what the problem is. The problem is they used an automatic translator to translate the white paper, which is why I do not understand most of it. I am not a tech guy, so I can't understand the technical explanation part. But I should understand the general part. This is not fully automated translated, but I would say semi-automated. They used a translator for the most part and wrote the other part themself.

I had a conversation with Little Mouse, and he agreed with me that the Bengali (বাংলা) Translation of the Bitcoin White Paper is Semi-Auto Translated. So, Adding a semi-auto-translated White paper to the website adds zero value. The Only guy I know is Little Mouse, who can help translate the tech part. But, He is super busy with some of his projects. I would be more than happy to translate the general part of the explanation. But I need someone who can help translate the tech-related part. Not only do Bangladeshi Talk in Bengali, But people from India (West Bengal) Also speak Bengali. If anyone knows Bengali Language and knows Bitcoin well, would you mind helping translate the Whitepaper? I need someone to translate part of it and will be paid for their work. We will discuss this further in DM.

Cheers!

I don't know maybe you can contact, @Porfirii  because they have this Alliance of Translators in our community, [OFNT] [AOBT] The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators.

Maybe you can work it out there and see if they can help you out. Some of the members are well experience, including @GazetaBitcoin who translated the Whitepaper already to their local language (Romanian).
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 24, 2023, 09:18:22 PM
What a joke, gambling is not bad as long as the gambler didn't doing anything harm to his life or family or someone else.

This boy will be mad to his father since he already lose a lot money and when he won this huge winnings, his father not appreciate his son money and ask him to return back. This case will change the boy's character, it's either he will not gamble anymore since his father not accept his winnings or he will continue to gamble and hide it from everyone, but this will make him become an addict.

We really don't know that is the story behind the father and son. Maybe their relationship is not good in the first place. So anything that the son will do, the father will not approved of it.

Specially if he brings the money in his house and the source is gambling. So if his father doesn't want it then he can't do anything. Maybe the best thing for him is to separate and get his own place to live with the money he won.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 24, 2023, 08:58:46 PM

I bet a time like that will come soon and that Inoue will find himself again in the same position as before when they were still at the bantamweight and in this instance, Casimero might not be a champion yet but he is already much closer in-terms of the rankings and that gives him more chance to be picked for a mandatory fight for the championship belt holders.

I really wish John Riel Casimero can strike another champion in this division so if Casimero and Inoue's fight comes it will be one epic fight and this could surely produce a big event and PPV that will be remembered by all their fans and likely followers, I really love that idea, but it is up to John Riel Casimero if he just like Naoya Inoue as his opponent but this is what I see

Casimero has to stay active if it wants to get a title shot next year. He is not getting younger as well so he better stay focused on the remaining years of his career. There are only 2 champions in the division which make it more difficult for Casimero to get a title shot. Both champions are also keen on unifying each other. The IBF is expected to issue a mandatory probably next year and hopefully, the WBC won't make their own mandatory so Casimero still has time to become a mandatory, probably by the WBO.

Yeah, stay active and fight decent fighters in the ranking. He is also not getting any younger so his next fight should be with WBO. He organization love this guy so most likely he will be given a mandatory fight next year assuming he stays active.

Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn the former promoter of Devin Haney might make a move to take him back to DAZN mentioning the names of 140 WBC champion Regis Prograis and GBP's Ryan Garcia as potential opponents inside the network. Jack Catterall is also another fighter Matchroom signed and will surely be in the mix.

This is Haney's last fight with Top Rank and most likely he will move up to 140 lbs. Although there is a enticing fight with Shakur Stevenson. But Shakur is under Top Rank. So let's see what will be the Haney's next move.

4 title fights this weekend:
Matchroom/DAZN- Featherweight champ, Mauricio Lara (26-2-19 KOs) will defend his WBA belt against Leigh Wood (26-3-16 KOs) in a rematch.
Boxxer/Sky Sports(UK)- WBO cruiser champion Lawrence Okolie (19-0-14 KOs) defends his belt against Chris Billam-Smith (17-1-12 KOs).
Top Rank-Queensberry/ESPN-BT Sport(UK)- Luis Alberto Lopez's (27-2-15 KOs) first defense of his IBF belt against Michael Conlan (18-1-9 KOs).
Golden Boy Promotions/DAZN- Minimumweight champion Melvin Jerusalem's(20-2-12 KOs) first defense of his WBO belt against Oscar Collazo (6-0-4 KOs).

Oh so this is Melvin's first defense of his title. So this is against a Puerto, this could be a banger and hopefully Melvin retains his belt.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 24, 2023, 12:01:34 AM
It was reported that this fight just did 275k-300k buy in the PPV market.

Way off when you compare it to the Garcia vs Davis fight which did over 1 million PPV. And that's the difference really between a fighter that can market themselves like Ryan and Tank as against the belt holder in Haney. And that is one thing that they said against Haney, is that he did poor in PPV. But let's see if Tank or Shakur or anyone calling him is going to happen and see if the numbers will do good against his fight with Loma.

Although personally I thought that Loma vs Haney will do like at least 500k buys.

Still good numbers whichever way we look at it. If you look at the numbers of Canelo vs Ryder, rumor has it that it only did 150,000-200,000 buys,  Angry Eddie Hearn reacts to low Canelo vs. Ryder PPV buy reports.

So I guess it's a good gauge for Haney's fight and it's up as to who will be his next dance partner. Will it be Shakur Stevenson? or Top Rank willing to go to the table and negotiate with Tank Davis.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last side of Bitcoin I've failed to look into on: May 22, 2023, 01:51:03 PM
As a fan of Ethereum, I've been able to make some ETH through putting my coins to work, but I've not come across putting your Bitcoin to work before.

Is all we can do as a Bitcoin investor is to HODL?

Is there any way to HODL and make more BTC?

I know that Bitcoin is a proof of work coin, but I am only curious if there is something you can do, while planning to hold your Bitcoin for 2 years or more, is there any benefit of holding and making more Bitcoin?

Also, What are those RSK Bitcoin for? Any benefit at all?

Are you talking about Staking per se with your bitcoin? But I think staking is only applicable to PoS that's why Ethereum move their model into it. But obviously Bitcoin is still PoW and I doubt that we will move into PoS in the near future.

So in any case, yes, the best thing for a Bitcoin investors is HODL.

Risk is that if you don't know how to have a good safety and security practice, there are chance that you might lose it through hacks.
The obvious benefit is that you are going to make profits if you invest on a bear market, accumulate, buy and have the mentality to HODL and then wait for the right time to sell in a bull run.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 22, 2023, 10:46:00 AM
Casimero is already 34, time is of the essence. He knows if not as early as possible, his age will not make him win a fight. Casimero will get worse every year that passes and eventually maybe after a few years, he himself will know whether he still can.

It's really bad not to see them step in the ring to fight against each other so that we know who is the real deal. But I guess, this is the thing we need to understand especially in the boxing industry because we all know who is avoiding here, and that's because they're just making things right for Inoue when he is dodging Casimero all these years. They cannot afford to take the high risk and they cannot gamble on Inoue's future because they're giving too much opportunity for Casimero just to get that fight to happen and when he luckily beat Inoue, he will surely take that credibility and merits and be the one who will become a star.

I don't think that Inoue is dodging Casimero, and if I'm not mistaken, they will should have set to collide for the unification fight it not for the weight issues Casimero had in the bantamweight division.

And now that both have move up in the same division again, maybe just a matter of time before they will have to fight.

However, it's not easy as it sounds, Casimero should go up and win at least a belt in this division before Inoue and him can face each other. Inoue is fighting for the belt next against Fulton so it's more on Inoue on control here.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 22, 2023, 09:55:03 AM
And it was the long time manager of Loma objecting Dave Moretti to be the coach because of the record of this judge for controversial scoring. If we will recall he is the same judge that score 10-10 round 2 of Davis vs Garcia wherein Tank put Ryan in the canvass but it was not reflected by Moretti as he clearly put in even rounds, wherein it should be a clear 10-8 rounds for Davis. And what if that fight didn't end in a knockout but in the judges scorecard and then the same controversy?
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: May 21, 2023, 09:43:54 PM
Even though the current price looks difficult to increase but I'm optimistic that in 2023 the price can reach at least $ 40k, we'll see if this week it can reach another $ 30k then it's likely that $ 40k will occur in June, then decrease again, and this is a great motivation good for us to keep buying.

I also believe bitcoin can hit $40k this year, that's not too hard for bitcoin. But I'm more interested in when bitcoin hits $40k, will it keep going up until the halving happens, or will it correct deeper and maybe go back to $20k? When I looked at the 2018 cycle chart, bitcoin also had a period of recovery after bottoming out at 3k, but then it also dropped back down to 5k before the halving. If history repeats itself, chances are we still have another significant decline.

Yes, it's not hard and doable for us to reach $40,000 this year. We still have at least 6 months to do that. Just look at what had happen in the last 6 months, from the bottom of $15,500 and we have reach $30,000 or even higher.

But it's going to be tough $14,000 increased till the end of the year. The growth seems to slow down this month of May, as there are issues like the high tx fees that is congesting the network. And then we don't have any good news that will make the market alive again. We need something to talk about to trigger that FOMO in all of us to re-invest and other investors too coming in our market to push it significantly higher till December.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger Confirmed That Government Can Get Access To Your Fund on: May 21, 2023, 09:25:37 PM
Though like I said earlier, I've not been able to verify the authenticity of this information, but then, if this information be true, then I think we all should be very careful with ledger devices - privacy wise.
if this is confirmed to be true then I think many people will not use this wallet anymore because the government can have access to it.
for me, the only hardware wallet I trust now only Trezor Wallet, they will stay like this and not make the same steps as Ledger did.
I hope they won't make the same mistakes as Ledger though. I still trust Trezor but who knows what the future holds? Personally, I prefer to store my funds in an air-gapped device that I set up myself rather than relying on a company's product. There's always a risk involved when you entrust your money to any device that you can't fully control.

With an air-gapped device you ensure that you are the only person with access to your PC/phone minimizing the risk of anyone messing up with it.

Yes, although someone doing air-gapped should be at least technically incline and knows what he/she is doing. But I think this is the best method instead of buying 3rd party hardware like Trezor or Ledger that might give access or our wallet to the government and that doesn't sound good to crypto or Bitcoin holders.

It's worth a try to learn how to set up our own air-gapped machine now with this latest admittance from Ledger itself.

There are other closed source wallets not just this two in my opinion. So if someone is looking for a hardware wallet, just be sure what and where you are going to buy the items, IMHO.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 21, 2023, 11:50:02 AM
We talked about the main event, but on the undercard, Andrew Moloney was brutally knockout by Junto Nakatani in the 12 round. So unfortunately, there will be no twin celebration as his twin Jason Moloney beat Astrolabio for the vacant IBF bantamweight belt.

Perhaps it was a payback? for me Astrolabio should have won that fight against Jason Moloney, now his brother was knockout in the last round, how ironic.

Also Oscar Valdez make his comeback fight, as he dominates Adam Lopez For a unanimous decision win.

Good to see Valdez back in the mix, it took some time for him to recover from that lost to Shakur but his confidence is now back with that great win against Lopez. There's too much respect two between this two.

And we all know what happen to the main event, as majority in my opinion saw that Loma could have won the fight against Devin Haney.

Yes, I do agree, Loma should have won that fight and now the undisputed champion. But judges clearly watching another fight.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: May 21, 2023, 10:38:50 AM
Additionally, the fact that even young boxers are avoiding him indicates that he is still seen as a formidable opponent.

That's because Donaire doesn't struggle yet against any other boxers at 118 since fighting Naoya Inoue. Just for a recap, after suffering the defeat at the hands of Naoya Inoue on their first meetup, Donaire bounces back on his next couple of fights with an impressive 4th Round Knock Out at both, winning a championship belt and successfully defending it, respectively.

If Donaire won't be able to win against a boxer that's not even on the Top 5 rankings, it's time now to consider hanging his gloves. Not just because he can't able to cope now with the competition but losing this fight will also put him below rankings. If he continues to fight after losing, then maybe just for satisfaction only and extra money before retiring.

But before anything else, I don't think that Donaire will show struggling against Santiago. However, my concern is, the longer this fight is not materializing for real, the longer Donaire will remain inactive in the ring. Next month will mark his 1-year inactivity in the ring (June 7, 2002).

It's a shame that until now we are yet to hear an announcement about the date and venue of this fight. Luckily, corrupt WBC seems to respect Donaire a lot or maybe because the legend is the biggest name in the division right now which means bigger purse and bigger sanctioning fees.

In a perfect world, the WBC will give a deadline for both camps to agree on a deal otherwise a purse bid should happen. And if Donaire is not willing to commit due to his promoter Richard Schaefer then the Thailander which was supposed to be the real opponent of Donaire should be the one to face Santiago. The Thai had a schedule last February prompting the WBC to skip him temporarily. But it seems like he is more ready for a fight in June than Donaire. And I wonder why Donaire and his team are not giving updates. Maybe to cover up his promoter's issue with the US authorities or who knows it's not just in the US but in many parts of the world that are allied with the US.

Donaire already has a limited time left in his career and then here's another obstacle. Aside from him being inactive already for a year. He should speak and tell Schaefer to let the other promotions do the job temporarily.

I think everything is clear with Donaire's promoter, Richard Shaefer is no longer with Probellum, so he has no connections with the supposedly financier of that company which is suspected to be tied with the Irish mafia. And if I'm not mistaken, Probellum has dissolved already or being taken by a different entity now.

But I do agree that it has been like months already and we haven't had anything from this fight, no news and everything is quiet from both sides that I suspect that this fight might not going to happen.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 21, 2023, 09:02:02 AM
If I were Haney, I would not be happy for that win. I just hope that Devin realize that it could maximum be a draw in that fight, not his victory. Like I have said, Loma should have started pressing and doing max earlier. Until round 9 it was 4-4 between them. Haney received so many punches in 11th round, grabbing ropes, clinches, that I was surprised he survived. UD… Crappy judges.

Boxing politics sucks these days, damn judges hehe. I'm sure that when they review the tape, Team Haney will realize that their guy was not dominating the match as he promised, in fact in my view, he was schooled by Loma but a win is a win so they will take this as a bonus and I do hope that they will schedule a rematch as soon as possible as Loma is not getting any younger.

True, another big time messed up by the judges here and the boxing pundits are not happy with the results and I do agree, it was highway robbery clear as day. Loma was dominating the last part of the fight specially the championships round.

Hopefully there will be a rematch, otherwise this might be the end of the road for Loma, his dreams of becoming a undisputed is not going to happen. On the other hand, you can see the expression of Haney after the announcement, he was very elated because he knows he could have lost the belt here.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 20, 2023, 09:08:50 PM
Gambling is better than shitcoins. At least it is fun.

LOL, I don't know how you can even compare the two.

In any case, if you don't want to gamble simple as that, even if the odds are enticing or even if the bookies or who ever run the illegal gambling den will let you win. They know how to play on people's mentality, but once you are hook it's very hard to get out. So the first lesson is that if you can't take gambling responsible then stay away from it. Second is that you should not be greedy, if you win some and then stop and go home and enjoy the money that you have won. Otherwise you will be trap forever looking for the bigger win. And the more you play the more money you are going to lose in the long run.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: May 20, 2023, 08:55:14 PM
Congratulations to Errol Spence, he is now inactive for a year. Maybe it is best for boxing if he stays inactive for a while. If there is no Thurman or Crawford as his next opponent, he should be stripped of his WBC. I doubt he will face Jaron Ennis after a year of inactivity, so hopefully, the IBF belt will strip him too. The WBA also has a regular champ in Stanionis which is enough to warrant as a mandatory but corrupt Mendoza is buying Spence some time and mandates a fight against Vergil Ortiz. I really hate seeing Ortiz and Stanionis fighting each other at this early stage of their careers. Maybe Ortiz should pursue the WBO belt. I want to see Ortiz, Stanionis, and Ennis become champions and then face each other in unification bouts.

He's already inactive for a year already since 16th of April because that was his last fight versus Yordenis Ugas.

As of this point, I don't know what to say anymore because the boxing industry is getting more and more corrupt as instead of giving the people the entertainment for the fight they wanted, these sanctioning bodies are even under someone else's payroll to help a boxer retain their belt for a much longer time without having any fights in the process. This should change because people will lost slowly lost interest towards the boxers and its industry if this issue drags on.

Well, it's good that many think like me, unfortunately the boxing industry is like that, and it's not just boxing, worldwide it is known that FIFA and many other sports entities are the same, it's a shame, because they prefer their monetary interests Before sports, I am a fan of soccer and contact sports, I am because I practiced them and it can be said that I still practice them and I know them, I also follow many athletes and I know what their strengths and possible weaknesses are, so The reason is that I also see that things like Spence's do not add up to me, now we will see what he will do after this, Crawford would be the one to fight, but I don't know what to think of Spence.

Business side mate, we can't really blame them. But we all know that this is a legacy fight for both fighters, if they can't go and fight in this generation, they will be judge negatively after they retire and probably not be mentioned as the greatest in this generation because they refuse to fight and putting the blame on each other.

Let's see, Stanionis vs Ortiz is finally going to happen as a new date has pop up. And probably the winner can be declared as the real WBA belt holding as Spence is inactive for more than a year and should be strip of his belt.

May 20. We have a boxing-filled weekend.

Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko.
A clash that will be watched by a lot of boxing enthusiast. We want to see who will dominate with all the ruckus they are making in social media.
Here are the odds for the fight.
Winning odds.
Devin Haney - 1.38
Vasyl Lomachenko - 3.00
Winning method - By decision.
Devin Haney - 1.58
Vasyl Lomachenko - 4.10
Winning method - By KO
Devin Haney - 8.00
Vasyl Lomachenko - 8.80

Bookies say that the fight will not end on a KO and a decision in favor of Haney will end the fight. You decide. I am thinking about risking a bet for a Haney KO or a Lomachenko KO because of the heat they showed during weigh-in where Haney shoved Lomachenko and then run.

I'm annoyed at Haney for pushing Loma during the weigh in. Is he trying to become the next Mayweather? Do the villain thing by trash talking his opponents and then try to do something during face offs?

Yeah, I don't know, maybe his head is bigger now since he has all the belts so his confidence is  very high. But I don't see any reason why he have to do that in the weigh in. Not sure if there is some stipulation in the contract that there should be no physical contact in the weigh in, otherwise he will have to literally pay for that in his own purse.

There's a big difference though between him and Mayweather. Mayweather was a KO artist before he became a defensive specialist when he kept moving up in weight and has brittled hands. That shove was probably the nearest thing Haney can do to try to put Loma down. I expect him to run, jab and hug later. Betting odds should have a 15 over or under on thr number of hugs Haney will do on Loma. I hope Loma can bring back his prime years later and teach Haney a lesson.

At 135 lbs? yeah, Floyd is very quick as well and can knockout everyone he trash talk as compare to Haney who doesn't have the power and has that weak chin. And it seems that fans are leaning towards Loma now because of that unprofessionalism he shows during the weigh-in. And it can backfire on him as Loma will surely be taking this personally now.

much respect to loma though. the promotion couldn't just let the top young guys to fight each other by reasoning no one wants to fight this and that so they just pick the old timer. there's isaac cruz or shakur looks befitting.

Lomachenko deserved his shot because he is the long time WBO mandatory. Actually, Loma is supposedly the first to fight Kambosos if not for the war in his country. Now with all the belts under Haney's waist, he needs to defend them or lose some of them if he fails to follow mandatories. Besides, even beating an old Loma makes your name more popular and credible because the resume is clearly worthy in the Hall of Fame. Teofimo, Haney, and Shakur are the next generation and are somehow proven but their resume needs more achievements for them to follow Loma's path and I even doubt all of them can enter the Hall of Fame when they retire. I did not even mention the names of Tank and Cruz, their resumes are too weak at the moment.

Shakur is most likely next. This undefeated 2 division champion and Olympic medalist will never get ignored and he showed he's got the skills and is better than Haney IMO. This fight might be Haney's last under Top Rank and his last in this division. Top Rank already offered Haney (win or lose) a shot at the winner of Josh Taylor and Teofimo Lopez. So maybe he re-signs but I won't be surprised if he returns to Matchroom especially since WBC champion Regis Prograis is already there. But still, Top Rank has too many big names in the division to offer if Haney is aiming for legacy. Matchroom though despite no other top names in the division aside from Prograis has DAZN which has the biggest money in boxing and it also has Ryan Garcia under Golden Boy Promotions.

As for the other young names like Cruz and maybe Tank as well. Tank if he stays with PBC and Showtime can continue cherry-picking and exploiting his opponents. He might only care for money and not for his legacy. Cruz meanwhile might need to transfer to the other networks if he gets the chance since PBC will continue to baby Tank and will never give him that rematch. Besides, all the belts at 135 are at Top Rank.

Yes, Arum said that Shakur will be the likely candidate next for whoever win this fight. It's obvious though, they are all Top Rank so the fight can be easily be made by Arum himself.

Which mean we will be treated next with another great fight, Shakur is about to hit his peak, his prime years so facing either one of this two will be a good matchup, as we have said, style make fights.

Just want to let you know that Kambosos extended his contract with Top Rank, so maybe down the line, he could still get to fight for the belts.
