122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? on: April 21, 2024, 10:37:44 AM
Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? For how long do you plan to hold this new investment from here on.

I don’t plan to buy now because I can’t withdraw it outside the exchange to store on my hardware wallet. It’s dumb to buy now on the current price while you can’t move it out of the exchange or use it on different services such as gambling and payments.

I’m still happy with my current holdings and my weekly salary on campaign in Bitcoin which I don’t if I will still receive on weekly basis since the fee is insanely high. But once the transaction fee is already back to normal, I think there will be a surge on Bitcoin purchase from retail investors.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the Heck Do Gamblers Mean By this Phrase on: April 20, 2024, 02:33:06 PM
I've always been puzzled by this phrase, "the flow of the cards". I've heard it from serious gamblers, but I've never really gotten the chance to ask them what it actually means. I am therefore turning to you guys to ask, what the do gamblers mean when they say it?
I don't think that's really generic gamblers who do that but specific gamblers that are counting cards in blackjack. And that would mean disturbance when you are count the cards, or change in counting conditions. Like when more players entering into the game in the middle could distrurb the "flow of cards". I never asked specifics, but i knew a card counter, and what i picked up is he used that term when ever composition of rest of the cards become unfavorable for his scheme.

If other gamblers are using that term, i think it's just more of superstitious belief or another description for luck, like that cards are or are not in right order or on their favor.

I have basic knowledge on card counting so I knew that if someone sit on the table and play along with you while you’re counting there’s no way that can affect your count since you are just counting cards on the table regardless if it’s yours or not to determine the EV for the game based on the remaining card on the shoe.

I believe the flow of cards is what you mention about when player sit and distract your game. Like hitting another cards while the dealer should be bust if he didn’t hit more cards and just stand.

There’s a lot of scenario like on blackjack when you are playing with noob blackjack player that doesn’t know the rules.
124  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HAPPY HALVING MGA KABABAYAN! on: April 20, 2024, 12:56:35 PM

Cheesy

So far bumaba na kahit papaano since nasa 30$ nalang ang transaction fee.

125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 20, 2024, 12:50:49 PM

This is the same reason i hate playing virtual in gambling shops , cause at times you can be stucked in a losing streak and have very few options that you may like apart from football simulations. I just prefer playing on my phone so when I'm losing and my mood is changing I just switch my device or close the app, my cool down procedure when I'm in big loses is to to just watch movies on my phone. Gambling at your comfort rules  Roll Eyes Grin Roll Eyes

What’s the difference between virtual gambling shop and playing gambling on your phone while both of them is gambling online while you can access gambling anytime even if you are using your phone. You just need to turn it on if you want to gamble again which is easier to do if you are just at home.

Playing online is indeed high risk since you can deposit all your saving during heat of the moment when you experience losses. This is what I’m avoiding when I’m gambling online. You can safely manage you bankroll by just moving your assets on lock state for a certain period of time before you gamble so that you can’t access it whenever you feel greedy after loss.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Casino Game Has the Best Odds? on: April 20, 2024, 08:32:11 AM

Whether you're a seasoned gambler or new to the casino floor, understanding which games offer the best chances of winning can significantly enhance your gaming experience. Share your experiences, ask questions, and get insights into which games statistically give players an edge.
Whether it’s house edge percentages, player strategies, or personal anecdotes, let’s uncover the most player friendly games out there.

All levels of experience are welcome  Smiley

Definitely Poker of you are high skill on playing it but if we are talking about non skills casino games then Blackjack is the best game that can give you a very good odds compared to other casino games.

By simply using Blackjack Matrix guide. You can cut the house edge below 1% which is the smallest house edge you can play on any casino games. Slot games is the worst but it’s the game that can give you high payout when you are lucky enough to hit the multiplier but of course the odds of getting that is very low so my answer is still Blackjack.

128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 19, 2024, 04:35:49 PM

Domantas doesn't play for the US; he plays for Lithuania, a European team. Another notable player that played for that team is Jonas Valanciunas of the Pelicans, but yeah, having a Sabonis-type player on the US team is really a great help for the team. But I think most of the players included are deserving of being there. It is a combination of young and seasoned veterans, as well as a mixture of offense and defense, so I think this team is complete and ready to avenge the US in the Olympics. A player that I am questioning here is Embiid. I know that he is 30 and, of course, he also wants to win a gold medal in his career since it is a good accolade for him, but playing for the US? I mean, he's from Cameroon, so he should be representing that country. But with him living in the US for half of his life and having his son as an American citizen, I think it is fair to say that he is good at playing for the US.

This team is more than ready to avenge team US. Even if you only choose 6 players with their respective roles and add decent bench players that doesn’t have a star power is already enough to dominate the olympics since too much star might overwhelm each other that might be the reason to limit their full potential.

I don’t like AD to be on this line-up since Embiid is already enough. Only the chemistry will decide if this team will work or flop since other international team has a lot of training together compared to this US team that has a limited time to workout for their chemistry.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paying $25 To Anyone That Opens A stake.us Account For Me on: April 19, 2024, 03:48:02 PM
3) After the account is verified, I pay you $25

If you are pertaining to KYC verified account here then it’s risky for both of you and the one who will do this since the user will verify the account can recover the account by proving ownership to the support while you can use the account on shady things that will link his identity to whatever negative things that you might possibly do.

There’s a lot of alternative casino that offers same games since Stake.us games offered is just from 3rd party game providers which is available to other casino just look for alternative casino instead of taking a risk just to play games that is available to other casino. Besides no one is willing to verify an account from US for 25$.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 19, 2024, 01:44:10 PM
especially in something as volatile as online gambling bankrolls.

Can you explain how come a bankroll investment is volatile while it doesn’t change the value of your investment much since casino has small chance of losing compared of winning due to house edge.

Bitcoin investment is more volatile than casino bankroll if we just rely on the probability of winning of the house against players. It’s not volatile but it contains risk that casino might hold your assets and don’t pay you. But in terms of volatility, Casino bankroll investment is one of the safest investments in terms of profit because it provides passive income from casino profit assuming that the casino will not run during your investment period.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: April 19, 2024, 01:01:12 PM
Based on the reality, the only thing that will happen is defeat.

It’s not a reality and most definitely not gambling at all if the ONLY that will happen is defeat because there’s always a chance on gambling either win or lose but not just like what you said that only lose.

You are describing a scam casino rather than a general overview for gambling. It’s true that most of the time gambler lose on gambling but there’s also a time that a player win. So it’s not only lose but some people is winning also.

Gambling is risking money for a chance to win even though the risk involved is high for the players due to house edge,
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 19, 2024, 12:51:07 PM

When it comes to risks then CEX does have;
1. Legal issues
2. Possible hack
3. Scam exchange

Gambling casino

1. Big whale wins
2. Hack
3. Scam site

Its really just that equal i should say. When it comes to risks then its normal when doing up some investment.
Majority of sites now or gambling sites doesnt ask out any investment now since they could already have their own.
In the past there were actually sites that do allow investment, i dont know if its still available now or not.

Profit wise specially on monthly or yearly basis, i would really say that holding your coin into your own wallet would really be that more worth thant
with these kind of offerings.

The only difference is you are not investing on the CEX itself while you are investing on the casino when you put your money in there.

The risk factor that you mention especially legal issues is common for both casino and exchange since they have license to operate. Casino is just not hot in the eye of regulators because the money involved is much lower compared to CEX.

But in terms of risk, it really depends on the company we are comparing since its trust basis. For example, I’d rather put my money on casino like Stake rather than shit CEX that has very low trading volume.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 18, 2024, 01:32:26 PM
Everyone needs to be healthy as this point, one superstar missing could be very big specially if Zion will not play. We can't compare Monk and Huerter missing, of course they are part of the bench, but it terms of impact, Zion could be a equivalent of Sabonis or Fox. Monk is their 6th man, so the bigger impact is that Zion missing the game. And it will be at the advantage of the Kings now. Sacramento is now the slight favorite as far as betting currently, at 1.8x against the Pels without Zion at 2.0x. Ingram is on limited minutes and CJ hasn't had that breakthrough game. Lakers is almost 3:1 underdog in game 1 against the Nuggets.
The problem with the Kings is they are not a good road team. We've seen them play so hard and well on their game against the Raptors but we can't expect the same scenario will happen versus the Pelicans. But honestly, it's really a huge loss for the Pelicans not having Zion, so I think the value goes to the Kings, take it early while the line hasn't move yet because I will.

According to head to head stats between Zion and Sabonis this 2023-2024 regular season. Zion dominate Sabonis on all of their matches while Sabonis is now the one who carry Kings and do a lot of effort for the team unlike last year which is Fox is the one who is main player for the score.

Kings always have a terrible match up if their center is outmatched by the opponent center since Sabonis is now the pillar of Kings. They need to lockdown Zion or at least stay hot on their perimeter shots if they want to passed on Pelicans. They only manage to beat Warriors because they don’t have good center while Warriors perimeter shot is in terrible state that time.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THERE ARE TWO THINGS INVOLVED on: April 18, 2024, 12:31:02 PM
When someone puts in money into gambling, he should be prepared for two things because there are two things involved, it's either the money is lost or you get some extra more cash (depending on the odds you chose to bet on). and when you eventually win and get an extra cash, two things are still involved.
it's either you walk away with your profit or you decide to try again with the hopes of making more money because you believe today might just be your lucky day.

If you chose to walk away, then you're on the safer side, and if you choose to go again, there are still two things involved. It's either you win again or you lose your profit as well as what you won earlier.
the best thing to do when you have won big is just to walk away and save yourself from greed that will lead to loses and stress. Though sometimes people who refuse to walk out emediately they win by tying to gamble for the second Time, and that is not a sure option. The suresrest option is to call it a quit after win. I have tried several attempts to win for the second time after I have won my first time but all to no avail. Instead of wining I lose the earlier generated and I learnt my lessons of not trying luck for the second time after wining.

Just like everybody else experienced on gambling. It’s easier to say than done to walk away we won huge amount. We all know the basic and correct approach when gambling yet many of the gambler still commit same mistakes since it’s very hard to follow all the right thing to do if you are already in the influence of gambling.

This is why there’s still a lot of gamblers playing for the sake of profit despite that it’s a fact that no one can beat the house due to house edge. If everyone can walk away when they win huge amount then many will be successful on gambling. The problem is even if they walk away now, they will still come back on different day and still gamble until they loss all both profit and bankroll.
135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 18, 2024, 11:40:23 AM
Not talking about Duelbits but more in general; but sometimes support can be a hit or a miss. I have numerous instances that the first agent couldn't help me out and that, when reopening the ticket, another agent could help me out. Having good costumer support is so important as it can make or break a casino.

This is correct, why do we need to rely on customer support if all the details we are trying to find out is already available publicly on the ToS. There’s a lot of incompetent support which might give you a headache once they provide wrong information or not even helpful.

Gladly on Duelbits, Support is always quick to response while they are always friendly to answer all of my concerns especially during the Christmas event on how can I claim my daily rewards of free spin which I forgot what game it was credited.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Projected how to spend gambling profits while the game has not played yet? on: April 18, 2024, 11:16:07 AM
There’s nothing on being optimistic about how you will manage the future profit of your gambling. The only problem on this story is he already committed while the result is not yet out. He should at least make his plan available to him only before he start committing with the potential money he will earn when his prediction works out.

I usually done this whenever I want to buy something before I proceeded to gamble. The only difference is I’m okay whether I win or lose since I can still purchased my desired item without the help of gambling profit. I’m just doing it to have a goal on my gambling so that I will not over committed to earn more outside my target profit.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 17, 2024, 05:10:14 PM
Have you achieved anything from gambling the short answer is yes but Not like the glamour thing like on the internet with million of dollar or something like that since I only bet small yes maybe I just win couple hundred and withdraw it.
In the long answer, I haven't achieved in gambling I believe If I totaled all my money maybe I'm still at loss at the moment hahahha.

It’s normal that you will not achieved anything financial on gambling because it’s for entertainment purposes only. Most of the time you will lose even if you won on some occasions.

As long as you keep gambling, you will just ended up losing even if you win big in the past since gambling games is designed to let casino win in the long run that’s why they are still in the business despite lots of players continuously playing and winning because there’s a lot of players losing more that cover their losses from the winning player that later on will come back and give back what they won.

I believe the most precious achievement we can ever get in gambling is only the experience of the thrill when we risk our money that’s why we should enjoy every single bet regardless of the result because that is what we paying using our losses.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Advice for a young millionaire on: April 17, 2024, 05:02:25 PM
What financial advice would you give to a young boy, probably, at the age of 18 who just received a whole lots of money from the inheritance of his late father who was a trader and multimillionaire in the textile industry?

The boy is the only child of the widower and does not seem to be interested in the same line of business and even when he does, he requires more maturity to be able to manage the business such as graduating from the college, etc.

Hire a professional financial manager and stop asking this crucial information that related to the fate of your finances. Asking someone anonymous online for what to do about your money is never a good idea because you don’t know the credibility of user here to give an advice.

If I will be on the boy situation, I will hire a financial manager or invest my money on trusted financial manager firms so that expert will grow it while I’m still young instead of investing it myself without any proper knowledge since I’m still young and probably greedy.

I will invest my funds on fund manager and choose less aggressive investment to make sure that will make profit with minimize risk while I’m still young.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Moonbet Web3 Sportsbook & Casino | No KYC | Web3 Poker Now Available! on: April 17, 2024, 04:15:53 PM

It's strange that they are not active here. Anyway, they must be active somewhere Wink
Maybe they'll come back to Bitcointalk Smiley
They are listed on Bitmart. And it's true, volume is low there:

https://www.bitmart.com/trade/en-US?symbol=MBET_USDT&layout=basic

They only become active here when they have an active signature campaign which they occasionally open when they have a new promotion for the casino.

Their token is very volatile due to the low volume and liquidity. A few 1000$ can pump the price a significant percentage since there’s no much liquidity available on the exchange. I’m surprised that the token is still listed there while the volume is so low.

Maybe they come back here again if manager @julerz12 connect to them again.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 04:05:48 PM
I agree on both comment above for 76ers inevitably getting the 7th spot on the playoffs with Embiid coming back assuming that he will play same dominant as before when he was still healthy.

But, Playoffs Jimmy and Bam are something that we shouldn’t look down. They already done this before showing insane playoff performance even with the top teams on their conference. Since this is just a knock out round, I will choose the higher odds which is Heat since I’m not sure if Embiid is already properly tune up since he is just coming back.
