121  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW TRX Gambling Platform] 10 day Pre-Launch, 50 gamblers only on: February 09, 2020, 04:52:40 PM
I am also waiting for details. The UI from the screenshot is great. However, since they are announcing their pre-launch more details must have been provided along with the incentives for the first 50 gamblers. I guess details will be provided in the telegram.

Also, any specific day for the test?

Good luck with the launch.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **TAKE YOUR COINS OFF EXCHANGES** on: February 08, 2020, 08:33:27 AM
True. Not to mention online wallets, especially exchange are susceptible to attacks. Imagine how much money has been lost since crypto started for people storing their money in exchange. I do understand that it is convenient if you are trading on a regular basis. However, it is not an ideal practice.
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Malubit.com | new bitcoin betting platform - Same as Bet365 platform on: February 08, 2020, 12:07:46 AM
not a good way to introduce your site "same as Bet365 platform" almost same as saying your platform is derived or a replica of another site.

You should've at least polished your platform before marketing it elsewhere or else all you will get is criticism.

124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 07, 2020, 08:25:18 AM
Code:
The downside of it is, if you are going to invest, 2% of your total investment will be the fee (2% on the most of the gambling website that I see). So are you going to try it? It is going to be okay if you consider long term investing but if your motive is for the short term, I think not.

I guess even if you are part of the house bankroll the house still wins.  Grin.  It might be worth it if you are investing a huge amount of money, even though the house has a higher edge over players you must not cross out the risk that you are investing in a gambling site and the risk of the house losing is still possible by the time you have invested. Any investment is a gamble and you should also consider the platform you are investing in, the number of players should be taken into account and when investing.

Quote
Partnership is not supposed to be one-sided, there must be a connection as always to avoid money losses because of being greedy when it comes to profits.

Investing as part of the house will mean you also accept the risk of losing your funds alongside the house since you will be sharing the risk as an investor. That is why it is not an investment you should consider if you are planning to invest everything you have hoping for sure profit because no investment guarantees this, risk will always be eminent.
125  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Poker (BIP) on: February 07, 2020, 02:21:45 AM

. We are thinking about adding different currencies like BTC, ETX and others if players are ready to play these crypto currencies. Maybe there are some specific crypto currencies that you would like to use as a chip in the game?

For most players convenience add currencies that are mostly used by majority gamblers such as BTC, ETH, XRP, etc. It would be difficult for some players to access your site if only applicable for BIP.

As for promotion, most new gambling site to attract users signature campaign is the most common and effective way of marketing in this forum.

I can see that your team is putting a lot of effort for improving your platform. Kudos to your team and good luck with your platform.

The withdrawal amount is too high and there is no legitimate casino that is too generous to let their users win as easy as that. You better come back here and post your proof once you have withdrawn your hard earned free satoshis.

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 06, 2020, 07:41:44 AM
You can't blame people from having a different assumption regarding crypto, the social media, news, and investment scheme that had used crypto to scam other people left a different definition in crypto.

I had tried explaining to some people what crypto is and majority of the reply I get is if ever it is a scam as what they see or hear in the news or social media.

What I think is, bitcoin or cryptocurrency awareness or the truth about bitcoin will come out to the mass naturally even if crypto enthusiast make effort for it's adaptation or not. Bitcoin or cryptocurrency just like the internet, when it first started, will surely be art of our daily lives in the future and everyone will be aware of it.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 05, 2020, 08:41:20 AM
A lot of people already died in China, specifically in Wuhan. And in some countries, they are starting to be cautious of the virus since the number of casualties and the number of people getting confirmed infected of the virus is increasing. China's economy had been stricken hard due to this. I believe there is an indirect correlation between the economy and the crypto market.

Investors decision in regards to crypto investment will depend and is affected by the current state of the economy. It may not significantly affect the market but still it can have an impact.

it is also the fault of investors

I agree that investors should also be blamed for why they end up getting scammed. People are greedy whenever they see an opportunity to earn even if it is sketchy.

No scam project will gather this much money from people if people will do their own research before investing. Ignorant and greedy people are most likely the victims of such scam project.

133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 04, 2020, 11:19:46 AM
A portion of my savings goes to bitcoin since the last bull-market and I had saved a decent amount of crypto since then. If you will look in a bigger picture, and trust crypto in the long-run putting some of your money on it will be worth it.

I guess a lot of people had been accumulating bitcoin since it dipped. However instead of wasting your money for transaction fees investing 1$ a day, just save your money and invest it once you have accumulated enough. You'll be saving a lot of money if you would accumulate the amount of transaction fee you have to pay.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin do next in the near term? on: February 04, 2020, 08:58:28 AM
Everyone has their own speculation on bitcoin prices. Most people are bullish and believe in the parabolic cycle, not to mention the upcoming halving. Having a steady market is healthier than having a sudden surge which will surely follow a massive price correction. I prefer, that is if ever the price will climb up for it to be steady and with a basis. Let us hope that the market will continue to be bullish as the halving closes by.
135  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MGA DAPAT IWASAN NG MGA NEWBIE(IWAS SCAM) on: February 04, 2020, 08:02:09 AM

136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: February 04, 2020, 06:56:29 AM
Haven't seen a casino with 0 house edge. One way or another they have to find other means of revenue or else they will end up being bankrupt. Casinos were able to sustain their business and expenses through the house edge. If there are certain games where they will imply 0% house edge they must have added it on other games' edge or get their revenue from promotions and ads or other means.
137  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino on: February 03, 2020, 10:06:46 AM
Tha platform is not actually appealing since the only thing that they offer is the cash back which is actually offered by a lot of trusted gambling sites. Not to mention the way you present your platform on this forum, it seems like you just posted a link and left everyone to find out more about your site on their own.

You probably should have added further information or atleast answered a couple of comments or posts from other other forum users who have checked your website.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 03, 2020, 05:10:02 AM
Well, this will be a thrilling fight between those two boxing fighters. But I am in favor of Lopez because he is young and probably hunger for this fight. At the age of 22, at this age usually, fighters have strength but don't have a strategy. I hope the odd will go with Lopez and this young fighter will win this match. Indeed, there are too many instances that Loma will have a chance.

Experience is a huge advantage in boxing though we cannot square out that Lopez as a young boxer is eager and has a good boxing record with no defeat and compared to lomachenko, his KO rate is higher.  This is a good march to watch.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Bustabit) How often do long streaks of red come? on: February 03, 2020, 03:35:20 AM
I have played Bust-a-bit when I was new in cryptocurrency and the worst that I had come across so far was 5 streak in a row. I usually stop playing for a few rounds when this occurs. I tried figuring out when it usually occurs but I guess this is random since each run is generated by a random algorithm.

Also, martingale doesn't work long-run which everyone is already aware of. Have tried this several times before and if you will keep repeating it for the long run you will end up bankrupt.
