And it's a wrap for Sundays games and with the only match having no goal was Switzerland vs Italy ,both created goal sxoring chances but nothing materilized in goals not what any of us expected from the Euro champs but created goes to the Swiss team for not allowing what happened to them the last time they met and lost 3-0.

Glad to see that the Italian team came back down to Earth after winning the Euro 2020 championship.
Still it is impressive to notice Mancini's achievement: this was the 36th consecutive positive game for a national team (only Brazil did the same).
The game was fairly balanced, I imagined it could have ended in a draw but I was not expecting a lack of goals. Worst scene of the game? Jorginho's penalty!
The next game on Wednesday against Lithuania becomes crucial for securing the qualification.

yeah its amazing what the Italians have been doing breaking  the record of Brazil and Spain  and they are currently the most consistent team that has reached a series of stability without losing for match 36.
This reflects the mythical continuity that the team has reached. Italywhent it gets sick, the whole world goes to her and does what tgey did, but when she comes back.
They are l the one who goes to them and restores the honor, as if getting the euro was not enough to forget the years of hibernation, so the Italians now refuse to lose even at the time of joking.

not the most exciting race this season, but still, better than Belgium GP Cheesy. Well deserved Verstappen win at home track. Orange army made amazing atmosphere there. All drivers outside Top 3 where lapped by race winner - what a dominance.
Poor Bottas, Mercedes didn't even let him to make fastest lap.

Yes, not a hugely exciting race, but it is really good to see a home race for a championship contender. It would be a shame if Max won the title without having a home GP to win in... he did really well to cope with the immense pressure, and is a deserved winner. Great atmosphere, yes.

Bottas trying to get fastest lap is a bit unprofessional. Of course Mercedes need Hamilton to get it if possible to continue his challenge for the drivers championship. It makes no difference to constructors whether Bottas or Hamilton gets it, but every bit helps in the drivers battle. A rare instance of unprofessional behaviour from him, but understandable really that Bottas is desperate to prove himself given the contract situation.
yeah the track was tight for overtaking, only Sergio Perez managed to make a lot of overtakes as his car was much faster the others and of he didn't get that lock in the braking early in the race he would have not had to change tires and I think it was possible for him to make it to Sainz.
Anyway Monza next race which will include a sprint race qualifiers in it.
Ferrari needs to get atleast a podium there, a win will be near impossible as their car still not near the speed of The Mercs and Redbull.
Alonso going to gaina lot of spots as he proven himself this season that he is good at the starting lap and he have two chances to gain spots this time.

Anyone following the Brazil Argentina game? Brazil authorities stopped the game to arrest players on the pitch for not quarantining. Comedy scenes as Brazilian players are still on the pitch. Trying to get a stream but everything's cancelled, though apparently Premier Sports in UK are showing it live.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2021/sep/05/brazil-v-argentina-world-cup-qualifier-live

It is a very shameful situation for Brazil, it seems that the authorities are aimless, it is not normal what happened today, they had a lot of time to take action and they purposely invaded the field and stopped a classic game like this
Such events I only used to seeing it only in the African continent, where confusion is wreaking havoc, but in a continent such as South America, with teams such as Brazil and Argentina, it is shameful and shameful for FIFA itself.
The match has been officially suspended and the referee will write his report and FIFA is the one who will decide what will happen next.
We watched 6 minutes out of the 90 that promised us Lots of fun, challenge and at the end there was only minutes of playtime to watch.

Oh, it's zandvoort day and to be honest this circuit doesn't belong to the current F1 cars and style but I get it ...the hype around the track was build for 2 years so we needed to have at least 1 race here. Besides this , I don't think we will visit this circuit in the next coming years as almost everyone in the F1 paddock are really complaining about the track.

Regarding odds , it looks like Max has 1.39 ...and it's so damn risky to take it as I might go with Bottas and 8 odd.
yeah on raceday the track was not interesting one and the overtaking was rare especially in the front and other then the few overtakes on the starting lineup and Perez using the speed and his skills to drop his car from last to 8th.
There have been no changes in the ranking of top 5 cars because Verstappen was too quick to catch for Hamilton and Bottas clearly can't catch Hamilton especially when his car is OK Gasly surely can't keep up with Bottas and Leclerc relayed on a kne stop strategy that he didn't gain from as Gasly also managed to stay over 40 laps with Medium tyres.
So all over the race was definitely better then Spa but it was not too interesting one to watch.
Now Heading to to 2 races next event in Monza where we gonna have sprint race Saturday and next day is the main event. I think it will be more entertaining.

Depay is not a graduate of the club. Laporta now wants to repeat the success of his first presidency in Barcelona. To attract more players from LaMassia to the team. Let's see if he succeeds this time. And maybe that's why they gave the 10th number to Fati. There is talk that we have already reached an agreement with Olmo from Leizpig, who is also a pupil of the club.
Depay is a short term plan for Barcelona and he is there because the coach is Koeman. The future of Koeman is uncertain and if he has to leave the club, Depay will have not too good future there.

Dani Olmo is a very good player and I am impressed with what he shown in Euro 2020. He is one of most important players for Spain in that tournament.

The game in Germany and in Spain are different levels. And what he shows in Leizpig does not mean that he will be able to show in Barcelona. He is an excellent player and there are great prospects. But whether he can prove himself in LaLiga is a big question for me.
Actually I think that Depay is living his best period in years on the field.
With Barcelona is the first key to changing things despite the short period and with the Netherlands he scores non-stop.
Griezmann's exit will give him the space he loves to be the first star and therefore logically we will see a stronger, freer and fiercer version On the field in the coming weeks.
Barca fans, did you expect this speed in integration, registration and contribution

News about Juventus hit a Wall in the negotiations with Dybala.
Two years of contract renewal negotiations were fruitless, and it would be very surprising if they succeeded in the end.
In the past, Juve was more decisive, quicker to take the sporting decision that is beneficial for the team, like this case we would see Dybala sold in 2020, they have changed a lot in the last years.
The 27 Argentina International have had contract end at the summer of 2022 so a few months left to know where is he going to land as a free agent or finally renew with the Juventus.

The Roma-Mourinho project, is a successful project by all standards, a matter of time and no more, there is something that many people may not care about these days, but it is very important and sensitive in any Mercato, for example these days, especially in the time of Corona, where the disposal of a player Not useful for the system, and his salary is much more difficult than contracting a specific player, exactly this was what was striking in the current Mercato Rome, they almost got rid of all the "imbalances" and their salaries in an amazing way, a mythical work done by the sports director Tiago Pinto, this explains to you how much Mourinho was able and simplified His authority in this project.
This thing was evident through the repeated statements of the Special One recently, also some important positions in the team were strengthened and there are signs of a terrifying team looming on the horizon, an aggressive team characterized by remarkable ferocity, a great work in the first Mercato for the master coaches Jose.

In the end, Hamilton managed to recover the gap but it was not enough to take the pole position.
Perez is such a mediocre driver he reminds me about Bottas.

As often happen Gasly shines in qualy, he deserved the spot in RedBull over Perez imho.
I think that Perez was unfortunate to not get to make another lap time yeah true that he is not very good at qualifying but on Raceday he knows what he is doing and for That I think that Gasly true he is good enough to be in the Redbull car but for next season the new car and Every thing Gasly should stay at Alphatauri as it could be possible that Alphatauri car can be as good as RedBull car or better and that is going to need a leading driver and that's where Gasly will come in.
And for Albon I think that They should give him Tsunoda spot and then try to get him a seat at Williams or Alfa Romeo , By the way Giovinazzi got a very positive results today at qualifying in efforts to defend his seat for next year.

I had a feeling that Arteta would not continue training Arsenal after the international break.
I expected a little quick reaction from an administration that spent millions for a stage where the Gunners became more than spending this summer all over the world!!
But it seems that they will not rush and have decided to renew confidence.
Perhaps the results will change over the course of the weeks.
The problem is that the Arsenal management was convinced of the team as long as it was in the Top4.
Then things changed and there was the term “Top6” in the Premier League.
After Wenger left and the managerial confusion, we reached a stage where Arsenal struggled for relegation.

Yes, I was sure Sweden would not lose to Spain! Well done! But it was Italy that surprised me the most... How come they couldn't beat the underdog Bulgaria? Shame along with France... Such teams must be won by big handicaps, for example Belgium beat Estonia by three goals difference!
No wonder Spain lost, because from yesterday's Euros I didn't get anything special from Spain but with the changes that have been made I'm sure Spain will be back on winning track in the future. Regarding Italy, I was also surprised by the draw because Italy should have got full points for playing at home. But yes, maybe Italy itself is already in a safe position in its group and Italy can be confirmed as the winner of Group C, it seems. No, Bosnia & Herzegovina is not as easy as it seems, because they are also difficult to win but in fact Bosnia & Herzegovina can make it difficult for the favorite teams to win big. France itself only played with 10 player and also, France's position is still very safe at the top so I think this draw is still a good result for France.

Spain needs another coach asap. They have a great squad but it's in vain if you cannot create massive chances of scoring goals and last night it proved once again that Spain doesn't know how to score and I'm kinda upset on them as this used to be my favorite national team a long time ago when players like Raul, Morientes , Gutti and Puyol were legends. Anyway, Sweden deserved to win and I hope they will make it to World Cup.
Volatility never leaves the Spaniards, it was clear after their unstable level in the Euro, Spain are falling in Sweden with a double in the World Cup qualifiers.
When you choose your squad while you are a coach, no one has the right to criticize except when you fall and do not reach the goal, or at least provide the usual level, and since Mr. Enrique received some criticism about his choices in the last Euro, but he continued to impose his opinion, fanaticism For an opinion with negative results that may blow Enrique out of his job.
Talking here is not about the qualifiers specifically, because it is unreasonable for the team to falter in the upcoming dates, especially since its next match will be against Georgia.
But the talk is mainly about the level of the team, even if it reaches the next World Cup ,because what we are witnessing of fluctuations may not be likely. Spaniards at all.

Pjanic stated after leaving Barcelonatgat "Koman X has been put on me since today.. I didn't get a chance." He also said, "My position in the team was not determined, I was getting a few minutes at every opportunity."
I think that his statements are nothing but a continuation of stories that always relate to Koeman. The coaches' dealing with players they did not ask for are things that have filled the football arena, but what is wrong with him in Koman is the double standards where he shows cruelty to those who can and manage his anger in front of names of the same level, even worse.

Red Bull is looking to bring Alexander Albon back into the Formula 1 world championship next season, with potential places at Alfa Romeo and Williams.
Albon had potential after he drove the Red Bull main team car last year, but unfortunately it wasn't enough and he lost his place to Mexican Sergio Perez, and Apparently Williams will have and open seat as George Russell is likely to replace Valtteri Bottas at Mercedes.
Bottas is expected to replace Raikkonen, while Alfa's second driver's seat, currently occupied by Italian Antonio Giovinazzi, is in doubt.
And on the possibility of Albon being released from his contract if he received an offer from Mercedes or Ferrari, Horner said Red Bull only wanted to return to racing.
But today Giovinazzi is hitting back after impressing in the FP1 and FP2 for the Dutch GP finishing in top 10 in both sessions.
Hamilton had engine problems in FP2 and he could get a grid penalty if they switched to a newer Power Unit so that will make his chances less to win this GP especially when you look at Ferrari doing so well on practice, it's true that they always give fans hope after Practice sessions but this is a considered a new circuit for F1 as the last time they raced here was in 85 so a lot of things can happen.

I dislike with Mikel Arteta and he got chance more than two season more but never give good result for Arsenal, last season in the first time last ten year Arsenal not participant on EUROPE League, bad thing if management keep hold with Arteta because he make many bad player transfer and waste much time for player have lowest value. Now Arsenal should looking for most experience coach like Conte still not have new club right now after left Inter Milan.

Arteta's credit in this team is ending day by day. The results they will get in the coming a few games will be the decider for him to stay or leave. Before hosting Tottenham, they will play two games against Norwich (H) and Burnley (A) respectively. He needs to get 6 points in these two games to gain more time here. If they lose even one point, then he will get sacked I think.

Norwich and Burnley are teams Arsenal must beat. If Arsenal fail to get 6 points from these two matches, Arteta should be fired immediately.
Actually I was quite surprised by the Arsenal management who was so patient with Arteta, supposedly with Arsenal in the 2020/2021 season only
finishing in 8th place, it was enough to give a strong reason to fire Arteta. But it turned out that Arsenal management still gave Arteta a chance.
even gave Arteta a large enough budget to buy several players this season. It turned out that in Arsenal's first 3 matches in the Premier League
this season Arsenal failed to get points, this is a very bad result. So it is better that Arsenal management should fire Arteta if he fails to get 6 points
against Norwich and Burnley. If it turns out to still give Arteta a chance, I'm even more confused by the attitude of Arsenal's management.
Arteta job is on the line not only for those matches it will be all the way long the season unless results changes and make a positive run of 10 to 15 league games .
Even if he wins both next two games he still have a game against Tottenham at Emirates in EPL. And this season Spurs seems to be in better momentum and they also managed to keep Kane for one more season it will be difficult for even to make a draw against them imagine alone getting trashed in a Derby against a team who could be leading the EPL at that point and what made them get better is that they changed their Manager.

Two news from Milan: AC Milan temporarily loses Olivier Giroud because the French forward has tested positive for Covid, as the club has officially announced. He has tested positive to a molecular swab carried out at home.
On the other hand, Milan sees Timouč Bakayoko comeback after two years. The French midfielder, who chose the number 41 shirt, appeared at a press conference in Milanello after leaving SSC Napoli.
Milain didn't use the mercato to get the necessary quality.
It's true that they signed with a sufficient number of players, but it lacks sufficient quality in order to return to competition in the league and champions in particular. Certainly, the success or quality of the deals can only be judged after the players' participation and performance with their new teams.
But on paper, there are preliminary indicators as a result of the player's previous performance, his status as a primary or alternative, and his age (these indicators do not necessarily have to be completely correct) give optimism on paper or not. With this team owned by Stefano Pioli, it will be difficult to think that Milan is able to go places in the league and champions.

Atletico madrid, tho...Suarez, Joao felix, Griezmann, Carrasco, Angel Correa..too much firepower! but you just know they're gonna win most of their games 1-0, just Simeone things lol
I am not afraid, only so many attacking positions in the team while Simeone is the coach. Half of them will be expensive bench warmers   Grin

More seriously though, this is confirmation that Atletico is tired of Real/Barca domination and they plan to take few more championships if possible.
The last moments of the transfer window have seen Griezmann returns to Atletico Madrid.
Atletico reinforced their chances to defend their championship they need him because Suarez alone is not enough and Joao Felix hasn't done anything yet, so it was very logical to try to bring Grizzo back to Simone he did not shine greatly except with him, especially since his level with Barca recently was weak, even with the departure of Lionel Messi .
- the argument of some that Griezmann did not appear at his level - and at the same time his exaggerated salary, which amounts to more than 24 million euros. Net, a very, very exaggerated figure set by the previous administration led by Bartomeu.
On the other hand, Barcelona got rid of Griezmann's high salary, but the strange thing is their contract with Dutchman Luke de Jong - at the request of Ronald Koeman, as the media said - despite the low level of this player and his very weak appearance with Seville in the last season.

Top 4, both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Liverpool are probably the biggest favorites. if we count some very awkward teams like Leicester, West Ham, Tottenham, Wolves, every team from the top 4 will have  +/- 14 (Home/away) difficult games. It’s just hard to expect someone to make an unbeatable series here.
Plus, they participate in CL where they will have some more complicated games. I still don't see a clear favourite here.
West Ham have made good additions as of recent, however prior to that I didn't see them as much of a threat for top 4, and I probably still don't. I'm not doubting their first team, what I am doubting is their qualification for Europa League, and how that is going to effect things. I do believe they'll struggle to repeat what they did last season, despite having a decent start to the season.

If I was going to make a prediction for top 4 now that some of the clubs have made their transfers:

Chelsea
Manchester United
Manchester City
Liverpool

I'd obviously love to put Liverpool higher, but our depth isn't fantastic if we get any injuries. It's basically the opposite to what it was last season, where our defense was running thin, now we are a injury away from having to play Origi up front. In fact, Firminho picked up a muscle injury in the game against Chelsea.

I'd agree with Chelsea being the favorites but only slightly, However, they'd need to beat City at their long term consistency to win the league, a slightly over average performance all season wouldn't do it, they have to be on their toes all season long, and Liverpool would also be keeping a really close tab as well, It's really going to be a competitive league this season, I'd say... I really don't see Man Utd in the picture when the season started, and I'm afraid the addition of Ronaldo doesn't change my perspective, yet.
The reason I'm going for Chelsea is not completely down to their first team, but their strength in depth. That's what wins you titles, and it's one of the biggest reasons Manchester City have been able to consistently put up a challenge to defend their titles back to back. Liverpool, and Manchester Untied to an extent can't afford any injuries to certain positions. In fact, I'd argue that Manchester City hasn't got adequate cover for striker. Chelsea are the most complete team in the Premier League currently.
yeah this year Chelsea I looking to he the most complete team in the EPL their only spot that could have seen improvements is the Center back as they only have 3.
After selling Zouna to West Ham, Rudiger and Christiensen are good pair and most of the times they play with 3 CBs as they add Azpilicueta in the right it's not his natural position but he have proven that he can play there but their only problem is if one gets injured they have Thiago Silva who is closing on 37yo in a few weeks you cannot rely on him  on a series of games offcourse they still have Chalobah but he doesn't have enough experience especially in EPL my options is that they should kept zouma as he was more experienced and they can rely on him.
