You're Right, Apart from Being a Playmaker, the other thing is that the player with the number 10 back should be the player who becomes the icon of the team. For this Barcelona case I prefer Philippe Coutinho to use the Number 10, for no other reason than he is a playmaker & plays very well in that position, Or if we want something even more iconic, Sergio Busquets should have worn the number 10, because he's an old player there. However, his position as a defensive midfielder is not suitable for using this number.

I feel it’s a bad move for Fati if he takes the number 10 shirt, because that’ll put unnecessary burden of expectations on him hence he should not take it. Also I agree that Deepay is not from their academy, but he deserves it for two seasons before Fati is mature enough to wear that number shirt.

It would be a bad decision because Ansu Fati will have to play with pressure on his shoulders. Remember Messi has a few seasons in main squad before he was given the number 10 from Ronaldinho.

Ansu Fati has less contributions and less experience in main squad than Messi. I think his talent is less than Messi too. Depay can be a good choice but decision was made so let's hope that career of Ansu won't be damaged just because he inherited the number 10 from Messi.

I don't also think the number is good for Fati to wear. He is still very young and not experienced enough to wear the number 10. He will probably end up putting more pressure on himself when playing. They should have given it to a senior player with a lot of Football experience. I think Memphie Delay should have wore the number 10.

In my opinion these number things are overvalued. The problem is the media who will then say that he is not worthy of wearing the number 10. I definitely am not saying that he is bad, and I also like it a lot when coaches give their young players a chance. Apart from the fact that he is wearing the number 10, I just mean that he isn't a monster like Ronaldo or Messi were at their youngest age already. Or let's say I don't see him on their level when he is 20 / 21. I might be totally wrong though, this is just from what I see and feel how he might develop. Messi was the world soccer player with age 21 I believe for the first time, that is just insane. And there is no doubt he deserved. In the season 08/09 he was the decisive player for Barcelona to win the first triple in the club's history.

And I don't think that PSG will let him go so soon if they don't manage to win the Champions League title this season. If they achieve the title, they might be leaning towards such deal I think. Let's say that they postponed it because they both have a CL match only after 3 days.
