121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: January 19, 2019, 07:22:43 PM
Sometimes these signals are good but it is also better to make your research about the coins you are trading and then trust them for better gauge. Don't afraid to fail because experience will teach to be successful.
It is totally bad to consider signals or predictions by making a part of your strategies or making decisions will have bad consequences in the end. Moreover, there are people who believe in chart graphing which expresses the price movement and they consider it in making their decisions.

We should not forget that it is an unstable market price and we have to act according to market conditions and to look for occasional benefited decisions.

Signals are the starting point to fail to survive in the market. Signals nowadays have become a joke and just a money making tool for the signal providers.
Work hard on yourself, for yourself. This will help you create your own signals and strategies. You may take some ideas from free signals, but I don't prefer and advice anybody to enroll in a paid service of giving signals.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: January 19, 2019, 06:17:55 PM
I don't think one should regret, it hampers the peace of mind for a time being and can lead to the long-term reason for being unhappy. Whatever is done, it's done. Don't waste time thinking what could have been done. If you think it as a mistake, then learn from it, keep it in your mind and move on. Of course, most of us think about it and feels sad remembering it. At present, surely that peak high will be obviously the best time for selling if one had to. Anyway, I can only hope that many believers will get the same opportunity again in the future.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 03:44:59 PM
Pretty simple, people are just frightened. The high volatility, country-specific restriction, and restricted usage are making people refuse accepting or using Bitcoins. Also, not all are tech user-friendly, in simple words, they like orthodox culture, this is another reason. Even young people like to use cash rather than online payments, cryptos are not even in the scene. Proper crypto usage will take a few more time, maybe a few years.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: January 15, 2019, 05:13:22 PM
I personally would say, yes, it is crazy to sell at loss, whatever may be the percentage, but we also have to consider the facts that what are the coins, how much is invested, how much can the investor bear a loss over a fixed investment, why the investor needs to sell excluding the reason that he/she is in loss.

Like, if the coins which have no future prospect, sell them wherever you are, and if you are unsure, just do some more research, talk to people, get some idea. And then, the reason other than being in a loss totally depends on the investors. Now, IMO selling in a loss unless and until it is heavily required to do, just ignore selling in a loss.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 15, 2019, 03:41:27 PM
Awesome comeback game by Indian Team. Well bowled and well batted. Virat Kohli's century and Dhoni's steady runs helped greatly. Dhoni was playing slow and steadily, but at the end, he pulled him up scoring a half-century. The competition went to a nice position for the final ODI on 18th January. Both the teams will be pumped up and we will get to see a good match.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: January 02, 2019, 04:09:04 PM
At a time where I see currencies moving away from cash to digital I think the reason is partly so that governments can control the flow of their currency more particularly for laundering. They can possibly gain more taxation from a cashless currency because cash cannot be fully traced. If i sell my car for cash to another individual the government dont get any revenue from that because it is not traceable.

So in a governments aim to control our money it will leave a big opening for bitcoin and other decentralised crypto to exist along with fiat and will allow people to "trade" anonymously with each other over a completely independent infrastructure.
I’m just starting to notice that some people here hates the current monetary system. The worst part is that these people makes no sense, they can’t give any good reason as to why they even hate fiat, they just feel like the cryptocurrency will give them freedom and make them rich, lol.

Cryptocurrency gives you no freedom, the government will still control it if they wish. I don’t support cryptocurrency, but I like it. People just needs sense of reasoning.

Actually comparing these two, Bitcoin and Fiat is useless. I have also noticed that a few people don't want to accept the fact that fiat will be there with us. Maybe there won't be any physical notes and we will have fiat in form of cryptocurrency. At the end of the day, they will be still using fiat and occasionally other decentralized cryptos. Governments will levy a tax on the transaction of decentralized crypto. Maybe few governments will exempt those taxes but maximum will levy a tax.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 02, 2019, 02:02:36 PM
At this point of time investment is a good option according to me, the market is down quite a bit and a few altcoins is at a very good value to invest. A risk is still there I feel, but I hope it won't go down further. Will be hopping around few altcoins. Selling won't be an option, for now, totally depends on the requirement.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 01, 2019, 06:07:13 PM
What a stupid comparison lol

Just because the market capitalization drops hugely meaning miracle must take place?

Stop fooling around and make a comparing from the value of market from 2016-2017 when you can find a large difference, this means the capability of cryptocurrency to grow is only need couple of months to recover lol

Well said, I agree. People are thinking and assuming Bitcoin and all the cryptocurrencies are gonna die. They are not even aware that even at the current valuation the market is green if even more previous years value is taken into consideration. Slow and steady recovery will be beneficial I think, will or may prevent such drastic fall.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Put 100$ per month in Crypto currencies on: December 30, 2018, 04:09:31 PM
A great strategy I would say, but for most coins, it should be for long-term though it will have a full risk with it and also it can turn to a great plan in future if this clicks.
ETH, Waves, NEM, XRP, TRON, Stratis as you said and NEO, DGB and LTC at the end I would say can be listed under your investment plan. Final decision shall be taken on your own requirement and risk-taking limit.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 29, 2018, 02:01:54 PM
If Liverpool wins today and Manchester City continues to have bad result like a draw or a lost game , then the Premier League will lose the beauty and thrill because Liverpool would surely manage to be Champions until the end of the season.

Both have difficult games today so it will be interesting games to watch.

Why will EPL lose the beauty, I think the fight for top position will still stay there. No doubt Liverpool has the highest chance to take away the league title this season. Manchester City even if they start regaining in their matches I feel the title is not meant for them this season. This is complete speculation by me, now lets see, I think few more games will clear off the speculation.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 29, 2018, 01:21:19 PM
Australia is holding up the Indian celebrations for now as it looks like they will have to come back tomorrow to bowl Australia out and win the test match. However tomorrow is the day where rain is forecast so we never know what can happen as Cummins is proving hard to get out and is batting like a top order batsman. The day ends with Australia 8 wickets down for 258 runs. Its going to be an interesting day to see what happens with the weather and if Cummins and Lyon can continue to fight and make it tough for India to win.

India took 30 minutes extra play as they thought OZ would get all out and match could end today itself. But unlike Indian tail end OZ are giving a fightback and still on the crease. This is a great sign of the fighting till the end irrespective whatever the results might be tomorrow.

Australian tailenders are playing well, but won't sustain and win tomorrow. The target is quite small but it will be hard on a fresh day to beat the energized bowlers. I felt disappointed with the batting end of India, their 2nd innings was pathetic.
And, I will agree India could have finished it today itself.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: December 28, 2018, 12:34:05 PM
good news, right now bitcoin has touched the price of $ 4000 and continues to grow.
as well as ETH, I think this growth is the beginning of the market recovery.

Bitcoin price has been balancing between 3,500 and 4,200 for a very long time. Even the best crypto specialists cannot tell us if BTC can go up or if it falls again. all we can do right now is to wait and hold this crypto.

Bitcoin is going to see a rise, it is just a matter of time. But things have changed, people are targetting short-term and selling as soon as it is growing a bit. So, it might take time to see some good value, but I like it as its growing slowly because the FUDs are going to reduce along with it, not completely but too some extent for sure. And I would also say hold it and if somebody is in a loss just bear patience and hold. Now, depending on your requirements the final decision is based on individuals.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: December 28, 2018, 12:08:38 PM
I am someone who had profited out of altcoin investment in 2017. I made a decision to invest a part of my wealth in to Litecoin back then, and it worked really well for me. But right now I don't have any confidence in the alts.
I think many do this. but I didn't do it. I prefer to sell altcoin to produce bitcoin, or ETH. I feel that the potential of altcoin moves based on prices of ETH and bitcoin, so when the prices of both coins rise, the altcoin price also rises.

There is a high possibility of this scenario being changed soon in the future when few altcoins will not be depending upon BTC. Now, ETH also kind off depends on BTC prices fluctuation. I occasionally do trade alts for BTC, sometimes I buy BTC and then trade it for alts and some other time I trade the BTC which I am holding or acquiring. BTC will surely give good returns, but believing in this system I am thinking about too long-term and thus do trade BTC-alts.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India May Legalize Cryptos But Under ‘Strong’ Rules: Report on: December 28, 2018, 11:39:50 AM
This will end soon and it is a positive thing for the community. India is not that good country when it comes to econimics.
many people and experts there are looking for the positive addition of crypto to the country.
Once this become good there will be changes in many aspect of their economics.

India's economy is growing one, and the addition of crypto and blockchain in its financial and other systems would greatly change the scenario and would even help more to rapidly grow their country and economy. Another reason they might be considering the fact of its addition is their relationship with other countries and recent happenings in the G20 forum.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 27, 2018, 01:51:26 PM
India is looking good at this stage and Kohli was very lucky to survive in the last few overs before the end of play as he was dropped by Paine which should of been taken. The new ball was difficult to play and India will need to get through the first hour in the morning session today as it will be hard to bat with the ball still being new. If India can pile on another 250+ runs today then it will put them in the box seat to win this test match. Today is going to be a hot day in Melbourne so India would want to keep the Australian team out there fielding for as long as they can. But they must also be careful to not bat too long as rain is forecast on the 5th day. The draw option has firmed up and is not into around $2.50 with most markets.

Pujara completed his century and got out at 106 and Kohli was out at 82. India are 390/5 and would like to make more than 500+ runs so that they can start putting pressure on OZ the moment they come into bat. If India can get a good big score in first inning might be they even do not have to bat second if they can quickly get wickets of OZ.

Actually they took too much of time I guess . They should have accelerated as soon as they reached 350 mark because anything above that is a good score . Its day 2 stumps and Aussies are still in the game , they might not win this one but certainly the probability for draw is more than either of the side winning the match at this moment . On day 1 itself I posted my prediction saying it might end as draw and right now its looking strong.

I totally agree with your thoughts and assumptions about the game being ended as a draw. They could have accelerated as we can see there are still 3 wickets left, so aggressive playing could have been a better option. But if they are good with their bowling, I think it won't be a problem, but the probability is going towards the game being ended as a draw.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the right time to buy ETH. on: December 27, 2018, 01:31:15 PM
Knowing that we all suffer through this bearish trend and now we hope it's almost over it's the right time to buy ETH!
ether has a very low price at the moment because it is stable at $ 275- $ 300. That's around $ 800 3-4 months back and probably will recover soon.
Given that ATH, this should be a good price to buy a few ether because it will return some good profits.
At this moment where the ethereum is below a hundred dollars it is really recommended to buy the ethereum since its last highest price is a thousand and chances of price bounce is really high due to mass speculation. We have seen the ethereum going to top not only in market capitalization but on the price and gained our trust, no doubt ethereum is coming for an upgrade.

Ethereum is no longer below $100, but still, I feel below $140 will be a good one for good returns if the market sees some bull run. Currently, the market is depended upon Bitcoin, so unless it emerges the other alts will remain silent or might not move up quite significantly. For long-term, below $100 was a great deal, but I would say at the current price of $126 approx., still it is a good one.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: December 26, 2018, 06:53:39 PM
Many people are saying that traders, whales have benefited with cryptocurrencies, obviously, they have. But if you see the whole world has generally benefitted and will be benefiting more in the upcoming future. People with cross country need for the transaction, organizations with a high amount of money requiring a secured transaction, all these people will be benefitting from cryptocurrencies.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019? on: December 26, 2018, 06:14:33 PM
Totally a speculative point, it is impossible to predict if it's gonna jump or not and if it is going to jump then how much. Chances are there I would say, but people are dumping whenever there is a slight bullish movement on the greater side. So, bullish movement like 2017 would be tough and I think it is impractical as well.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 23, 2018, 07:55:33 AM
That's a problem created when you have not implemented diversification to your investment profile. Not all industry or sectors or markets work in the same manner. And it's very rare that all your investment sectors won't perform simultaneously. Christmas is a time when you should spend time with families, gifts are not that mandatory, at least for me, it is not. Anyway, I hope this Christmas Santa gifts Bull to crypto market.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and regulations on: December 23, 2018, 07:32:05 AM
Today I was on a conference in Vilnius and went on a lecture about cryptocurrencies. I would like to share some aspects which I did't see so clear before. As we know, among those states which want to regulate cryptos, there are those which consider them as property and others as means of payment. The first approach is usually seen when there are tax companies around, because money is not taxed, but possession is. So when a state days they consider cryptos as property, it means they are getting taxed, while this is not the case with means of payment.
What do you think of this?
They can not tax us. This is a decentralized market, and government is just a normal account. It can not control the freedom of the Crypto market. They do not have the power to control everything. So we can easily evade taxes by creating many electronic wallets.

Countries which has no open crypto payment system unlike Japan, they have to convert it to local fiat in order to finally use their cryptos. And the govt. can then easily tax their citizens whenever they convert from crypto to fiat. Even if it is a decentralized system, the government will find ways to tax them and remember cryptos are not 100% anonymous, so the government will find those who will be evading taxes.
