1222  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: February 04, 2023, 03:28:39 PM
If we're talking about the people running the country, the government, they are evil because they are pocketing the nation's money. That's obvious because there is a lot of luxurious stuff that a government official with a salary cannot afford, and many people have bribed the government to let things "slide"; hence the money came from to buy stuff.

The evil part is where people are addicted to money, or the love of money, in this case, causing the "evil actions." It's important to know that money isn't an evil thing; it's people who do the evil deeds.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your earliest Gambling Story? on: February 03, 2023, 09:01:07 AM
My earliest real-life gambling was I was around high school. I used to play computer games and have people come over and play with us, and it's a betting match in which youwillo win the pot if you win BO3. If you are playing around with money, that's considered gambling already, so that's what I have for the earliest gambling story.

Some of which as well are made in a carnival; I enjoyed playing dice games back then. Now it's fully online.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 03, 2023, 05:50:35 AM
Let me add some fear that everyone can relate to.

It's the unpredictability of what could happen when you are trading. It's like a combination of your fears and making sure they are being feared as a collection and not just a single fear. It sums up this, and it's one of the things that you are always going to consider. If you add the concern, it equates to not knowing what will happen in the future, hence the unpredictability and things not going your way.

It's best to protect yourself by risk management all the way. That's the best way always.
1225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: February 02, 2023, 12:55:29 AM
I think it's bad to think about people you are going to say that “you deserve it” and they cannot control it completely. It is definitely something that is not good, but if you know how to ride it and take advantage of that, you can profit from it. Like with the spread of FUD, you can go with the flow and buy at a discount.

Manipulation is unethical. I think everybody can agree on that.
1226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: February 01, 2023, 02:54:55 PM
There isn't the best thing for everyone. It's going to be an adjustment toward what market would be favorable to you because there are many things you can consider when checking out the market fit for you. You can view the following.

In the crypto market, here are the advantages that I could think of
  • Decentralization
  • 24/7 trading
  • Easy access to your assets, you have it in digital form

The disadvantages of the crypto market
  • Too volatile (sometimes a double-edged sword. It could let you profit in the right direction; you could lose a lot.
  • Need to be somehow tech savvy(newbies to get scammed are easy)

In the stock market, here are the advantages that I could think of
  • Highly regulated
  • Rich history - A lot of things have happened already in the stock market, and there are a lot of data

The disadvantages of the stock market
  • Less volatile than crypto market
  • Fees to brokers

It's still up to you whether you would go with the crypto or stock market. Could you make sure you are investing what you can afford to lose? That's the best way to be manageable and profit in the long term.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A retracement of Bitcoin Has Negatively Impacted The Crypto Market on: January 30, 2023, 06:45:21 PM
Thanks for sharing your insight. We are still in a range where it would only move a little if a catalyst affects the market or something. Knowing this information would help the speculators, but it's crucial once to open a position earlier to maximize the market's opportunity. Still, it's always going to be a risk for sure.

I would have a buy limit position around $25k because it might continue going higher if it went there.
1228  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 30, 2023, 02:22:18 PM
It's more of a combination of luck and effort for me because you need to do something to get something back. It would be best if you still took action for those opportunities to become successful. Like you can have an interview for a job with great pay and benefits, the luck aspect, but if you do well, that will be yours for a short time since you won't make an effort. So that's always going to be a combination.

You should know what you are doing and focus on what you can do and control. It's best to have a great mindset and efficient effort for what you want, and then success can come.
1229  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Thinking of separating my holdings into two physical locations. on: January 30, 2023, 01:37:50 PM
You are more of taking care of the security of your holdings, not just securing your assets but the total holdings value, because you are going to take half of your risk and have additional protection on top of it. It's like diversification mixed with security with an added bonus, easier track recording if you take care of tax for financial planning, etc.

This would be harder for someone that you would pass it on to.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question on: January 30, 2023, 08:44:21 AM
Since you are doubting what you are doing, it's better to know what you are doing and be confident about what you're trying to advise. Generally, it's not a good idea to recommend someone on what to buy because they might haunt you that you've lost them money or give you praise if you made them money. So it's going to be hard, and depending on the level of understanding you have between the two parties, it would depend on it.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 30, 2023, 03:09:48 AM
If you think about it, yeah. For me, you just won against the house, but in terms of a larger scale, like considering all the members in the casino, the house is still the winner. So you are a lucky person but not fortunate enough for everyone.

You will go back and think that you can do it again, which is more likely to happen in these scenarios.

Be disciplined and you would win against the house.
1232  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save wisely this year, piggybank or piggybitcoin on: January 29, 2023, 02:42:56 PM
I have seen a post like this on social media that ate the $20 bills that he has kept for quite a while. I read in some comments that you could have it replaced. I'm not sure if it would still be possible to be replaced by the central bank, depending on the country, but wouldn't it be possible to have the issuer of it in your country replace it?

Anyway, it's a good idea to invest in BTC knowing that the total supply is limited. Get more!
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has someone tried to use ChatGPT to help in trading? on: January 29, 2023, 01:06:58 PM
It's better to have your approach on it and use ChatGPT for learnings rather than to be used as a source of decisions. There will come a time when you are finding someone, or in this case, a thing, to blame for why you lost in a trade. It could be a better thing like learning and not for predictions because its data is not real-time and is not always accurate.
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $30,000 in the first half of 2023 and $50,000 in the second on: January 29, 2023, 09:00:55 AM
We can speculate all we want, but it's essential to consider the possible things that the articles are being put out. Like "which direction would it be" when determining the asset's price. Of course, it's easier only in the short term, and the long term is even harder to predict, knowing that you should see the market sentiment. However, there are essential things that you should consider.

  • Analyze the market: Check the impact of the media and what they are saying about BTC.
  • Functionality of the asset: Consider it correlated to its price. Is it worth more or less than it is now with what it gives
  • Check the history of the asset: reading the charts would give an insight as well
  • Supply and demand: we all know the max supply of BTC.

Better to research first and have an informed approach of what BTC is to you and the price it should be and use it as a long-term view of the asset, and you can never go wrong.
It can reach higher than that for me, and it's essential to HODL more BTC.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 28, 2023, 03:10:46 PM
I remember watching videos of people participating in those matches where they exchange slaps and wait for someone to be knocked out.

I just Googled this and found this:
https://www.powerslap.com/

It's amazing how it looks like, and this made me interested in watching it.

You could also join if you want  Shocked
https://www.powerslap.com/#about

Really interesting fights though. I like the part of the site where it shows the W-L records.
1236  Economy / Economics / Re: The Buy Now, Pay Later Bubble Is About to Burst on: January 28, 2023, 02:10:22 PM
Wouldn't it be weird not to be indexed toward consumers' debt? Because it will just be "delayed" and will still be billed, the problem is that the thinking of people trying it out makes it seem that they still have the money and would probably spend more than will rack up more debt.

The logical way of approaching these people interested in BNPL is the following.
  • Make sure that you have the budget
  • Check the Terms and Conditions of the issuer.
  • Track your spending

There might be unexpected problems that can be encountered with this. I think some of these financial aspect should be studied by people in order not to have problems with the financial system.
1237  Economy / Economics / Re: Track every rich person take on: January 28, 2023, 08:43:26 AM
Woah. Triumphant is a very extravagant word to be used. It feels medieval and, at the same time, so realistically pleasing to hear, lol.

You need to have multiple things to do to succeed.
  • Set clear goals and take the necessary steps to achieve them
  • Have a positive mindset and attitude
  • Building strong relationships
  • Explore new opportunities
  • Taking care of yourself. Mental and physical health

Out of your list, it's just like these as well. It's still up to the person to work on it.
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My son, daughter, nephew wants to know about Bitcoin on: January 28, 2023, 08:06:43 AM
I don't think it's a bad idea to educate your children about it since it's your choice and going to be your decision as a parent, but the main thing that I think that would be beneficial to focus on is why your family is working with cryptocurrency use when it's banned in your country. Do you think you can get in trouble knowing that idea? Would you want to bear that with your children? I don't think it's a good idea knowing that it's banned. Yes, you can educate them about it, but when you are talking about the legality and how it would work, it's definitely going to be a battle.

There are many legal people/police around us if they get any information about Bitcoin from the mouth of children then our elder family members will face many problems.
I think it's better that you don't involve them if you guys are on the verge of getting in trouble.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for new exchange token to add to my wallet on: January 27, 2023, 01:36:12 AM
Why not try and check the top exchanges in CMC?

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

Then find the exchange that you are interested in investing, and you can buy those tokens. Maybe that's an easy way to see this.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tom Brady's Gambling and HUGE loss. on: January 25, 2023, 11:52:00 PM
What a sad situation for him because of what happened there are a lot of people in that particular situation, and you have to choose only between two, career or family. That’s a tough decision, and you need to assess what you want in your life.

Obviously, we know what Tom Brady chose and that’s his decision we just have to respect it and I hope he is accountable for it.
