With Messi now out of PSG and Neymar set to leave too, Mbappe knows there will be more responsibility for him. PSG will get new players in the transfer market, that can majorly play with him to win the champions league in PSG, he is not leaving.  These two young Brazilians will wear the legendary jersey number starting next season and as is well known, this number has previously been worn by Cristiano Ronaldo and also Gareth Bale. It seems that Vini and Rodrygo are ready to inherit the jersey number and of course they have a big responsibility to be able to continue the glorious tradition that Real Madrid brought with that number. I think they deserve it because they have had many seasons with Real Madrid and have been able to prove their consistency through goals, assists and also helping Real Madrid to win various titles. It's so exciting to see Ronaldo and Bale rebirth! Cannot wait. The number 7 jersey has always been iconic, and it's been previously worn by Cristiano Ronaldo. However, this is the first time I personally feel that Vini Jr deserves to wear it. Jersey no 7 has its uniqueness and greatness. So, good luck to Vini Jr with his new jersey! I would say that it was a good decision to make the Asia Cup being played in the ODI format. Because it is going to be good practice for the players ahead of the world cup. It is also very glad to know that they have finally come to an understanding. I am still very skeptical about this being the last time when we will see some problems being created regarding the Asia Cup. But at least we saw them coming to an understanding. There was a lot of talking going on about the Asia Cup and where it is going to be hosted. Finally, we can see a decision being made which is not too bad, to be honest.

What a disappointment for Italy's football fans! The Italian clubs were unsuccessful in winning their respective European finals this season. While Inter Milan's had their best performance but let down by their strikers' indecisive finishing. Inter really controlled the match against Manchester City, which is no easy task. Of course, City rules, but Inter put up a great fight.
In some ways, it's still plus point for Serie A that their clubs were able to make it to all three finals and narrowly losing each time. Hopefully next season Italian clubs will bring better luck.

It look like the 3rd umpire was color blind who could not see the ball clearly touching the grass between the two fingers. From my observation of the recent finals played by the Italian clubs this season,this shows that Italy might just be lucky to be in three European league finals but might not be able to win any trophy home,because this last final might also be in the favor of the English club.
Losing three consecutive times in a row for an Italian club in European competitions would truly be a tragedy. I hold a genuine hope that Inter can break the curse and turn things around. Manchester city is a very strong club this season and wouldn't give Inter the chance to defeat them in the final and rob them off from making history. This is what Pep will put into consideration,since he will also make a remarkable memory for himself and the club. This means that what is at stake is much greater than the pressure City will face on the field with Inter on that day.
It's no secret that Manchester City has been absolutely dominant this season, and favorite to win their tribal. Am pretty confident that the target would have been lower if Rohit went with Ashwin instead of Umesh.

It's great to see West Ham United finally clinch a major European trophy after a long wait since 1965. The match against Fiorentina was a tough one as the Italian side seemed to dominate for most of the game, but West Ham managed to capitalize on their chances and got the goals that's what matters. Hats off to both the team and manager David Moyes for their winning. Moyes was calm and focused on the Conference league, ultimately leading his team to victory. If the Indian bowlers are not able to pick up quick wickets, Travis Head and Smith cannot break the pair then India is going to face big problems. At the end of the first day, the Australian team made a huge collection of 327 runs. If today's Australian batsmen can bat well then maybe they can declare an innings after collecting more than 550. If Australia is able to bat 60-70 overs today then it can undoubtedly be said that the team is heading towards a huge collection. If Australia plays so well in the first innings, the match may be a draw and the new Australia will win. India's chances of victory are slowly diminishing. Travis Head's innings was simply incredible! I always love to see him and Steven Smith performing at their best, and it looks like they're determined to take on India's bowling line-up. This duo could prove to be a major threat if the Indian bowlers fail to make an early breakthrough on day two. It looks like against this bowling any team can score more than 500 runs without much trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if Aussie team manages to surpass the 550-runs. This team is in great spirits and hopefully they'll continue with the same momentum throughout the rest of the match. |
