1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with BNB on Metamask on: February 09, 2023, 02:26:23 AM
Upon checking the website of Volt Inu

https://voltinu.in/

They are listed on several centralized exchanges, 79 to be exact, based on their website.
  • MEXC Global
  • Digifinex
  • Gate.io
  • Bitmart
  • Lbank

So maybe you can check there and try if they accept credit cards for crypto payments conversion.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 08, 2023, 02:02:05 PM
You can get paid by anyone with a coin. It depends if that coin has value. Imagine some unknown coin that's not listed anywhere, but you did the bounty. They paid you. But does it have value to you? That's where you will draw the line for yourself, whether you accept it. Sometimes it's better to join with escrows and make sure that there are funds to be sent to you.

Be careful of scam projects.
1243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools for analysis on: February 08, 2023, 04:07:56 AM
I'm using a tool called Gunbot. There are a lot of features packed into it, and it would be helpful for traders like you and me.
  • Trading 24/7 - Maximizing the market potential
  • Consistent trading - The bot will follow rules that you have set, and it will be consistent and efficient
  • Backtesting - You can backtest your trading strategies then you can evaluate the best strategy that you have
  • TradingView Charting Tools

Make sure to know that you will have to set the parameters etc.
1244  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Gambling > Gambling Awareness board on: February 07, 2023, 03:51:12 PM
So what you're trying to say is that you want a specific board for, like, a support group for gambling addicts, and those willing to help will post there along with the posters that are experiencing problems with gambling, right? It will be like the Serious discussion and Ivory tower type of things.

Why not include it in the serious discussion? It could benefit those trying to change and be aware of their addictions.

I have never said that this is a support group for gambling addicts. I have never said it is meant for people to help people experiencing problems either. Have you even read any of my posts?

It does not belong in Serious discussion. It belongs in the gambling section. The point of awareness is discussing the other side of gambling and being aware of it. That is a VERY broad topic, hence the suggestion for a board. Discussion and sharing experiences are two things that increase awareness, and only a board is capable of enabling both discussion and sharing experiences in an organized way that people will actually read.
Hmm. Okay, I assumed wrong. That's basically the initial impression. So basically just letting other people know hence awareness. I don't see really the point of another board other than a Gambling discussion. Discussions can cover a lot of topics, and awareness is one of them. I'm not sure why the mods lock it up all the time, but probably it's been discussed multiple times.

The anti-gambling purpose that you have said in the original post might mean to people that they shouldn't gamble and the ones who could say that are the ones who have gambled already. They need people to discuss things like that, and hence the "type of support group" thought comes along.
1245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance suspends withdrawl on: February 07, 2023, 12:08:30 PM
As long as the other modes of withdrawal are okay, I think it’s pretty easy to let it pass because like what the statistics say, only a few are affected by it.

For me, the important part is that I can withdraw my crypto to my wallet and not necessarily on my bank account directly which uses fiat.

1247  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance tax has been launched? on: February 07, 2023, 03:58:20 AM
If they had moved and agreed with the corresponding countries they are operating in and made that tool as seamless as possible, that would be a game changer for users. Of course, there are a lot of people who are against it, especially those who are using Bitcoin because of decentralization. Still, you have to pay taxes on it to be legal, and that would be hard and exhausting to do on your own, so having that tool by Binance is a game changer.

Having that tool aligned with the country's tax laws, all calculations already dealt with would be computed, making lives easier. Hoping as well that it would lead to more crypto adoption with the giant Binance.
1248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Clipboard malware affects phone users? on: February 06, 2023, 05:31:52 PM
If it has been invented on PC, it is probably applicable to phones. I remember on my device, an iOS device, in particular, a few years ago that it doesn't have any problems copying and pasting. After an update, now it asks if it can be pasted or if it shows the app where the clipboard is being copied.

I think it's a great safety feature to have known if the application is doing something with the clipboard or not without your permission. Definitely a good thing for users.

Better to be safe than sorry all the time.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what is the best way to gamble w/ BTC on online casinos? on: February 06, 2023, 06:39:46 AM
What is the best way to gamble with BTC? It's the websites with those reputations that are worth it and not the scammy gambling casinos that are out to get you and your money. It's best to see the following on a specific website.
  • License and regulations
  • Fairness - Provably fair
  • Customer Support
  • Reputation of the site

These essential factors will help you determine if it's an excellent online casino.
Once you know the casino you want to play in, you probably want to determine the games you want to play.
  • Table Games
  • Slot Games
  • Live Dealer Games
  • Sportsbetting

Then decide how you would use your strategy. The critical factor is where you risk what you can afford to lose. In that way, you can manage your expectations and know when to stop when gambling.

This way, you can have the best way to gamble.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 05, 2023, 02:55:56 PM
I did this for a while and looked at the odds before I bet any money because that's how I would be successful in this type of betting strategy. I didn't continue because I had to use the money I was betting currently.

You have to be aware and never bet too much money that you will regret losing. Those high rollers betting probably have a lot of money to bankroll their whole gambling career. That's why they probably bet like that.

Make the decisions for them, but you should know the amount willing to lose every bet.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: February 05, 2023, 10:09:08 AM
Asking how you would be able to know to prevent a catastrophe like what FTX has done something out of the ordinary and wouldn’t be easy to figure out. There are a lot of people who have a different agenda with why they are doing what they are doing so definitely it’s hard but the regulations could probably help that.

Being regulated would mean that everything that you do would be accounted for, and make sure that are accountable for what they are doing behind the scenes and would prevent manipulations of some sort.
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: February 04, 2023, 05:48:55 PM
It's just a matter of time before you are determined to be what type of HODLer.

  • Paper Hands
  • Diamond Hands

That would determine quickly if you will be bullish or bearish about crypto. It will be a bullish year, or maybe the following years.
1253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a beginner, what should I avoid? on: February 04, 2023, 04:07:24 PM

1254  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: February 04, 2023, 03:28:39 PM
If we're talking about the people running the country, the government, they are evil because they are pocketing the nation's money. That's obvious because there is a lot of luxurious stuff that a government official with a salary cannot afford, and many people have bribed the government to let things "slide"; hence the money came from to buy stuff.

The evil part is where people are addicted to money, or the love of money, in this case, causing the "evil actions." It's important to know that money isn't an evil thing; it's people who do the evil deeds.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your earliest Gambling Story? on: February 03, 2023, 09:01:07 AM
My earliest real-life gambling was I was around high school. I used to play computer games and have people come over and play with us, and it's a betting match in which youwillo win the pot if you win BO3. If you are playing around with money, that's considered gambling already, so that's what I have for the earliest gambling story.

Some of which as well are made in a carnival; I enjoyed playing dice games back then. Now it's fully online.
1256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 03, 2023, 05:50:35 AM
Let me add some fear that everyone can relate to.

It's the unpredictability of what could happen when you are trading. It's like a combination of your fears and making sure they are being feared as a collection and not just a single fear. It sums up this, and it's one of the things that you are always going to consider. If you add the concern, it equates to not knowing what will happen in the future, hence the unpredictability and things not going your way.

It's best to protect yourself by risk management all the way. That's the best way always.
1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: February 02, 2023, 12:55:29 AM
I think it's bad to think about people you are going to say that “you deserve it” and they cannot control it completely. It is definitely something that is not good, but if you know how to ride it and take advantage of that, you can profit from it. Like with the spread of FUD, you can go with the flow and buy at a discount.

Manipulation is unethical. I think everybody can agree on that.
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: February 01, 2023, 02:54:55 PM
There isn't the best thing for everyone. It's going to be an adjustment toward what market would be favorable to you because there are many things you can consider when checking out the market fit for you. You can view the following.

In the crypto market, here are the advantages that I could think of
  • Decentralization
  • 24/7 trading
  • Easy access to your assets, you have it in digital form

The disadvantages of the crypto market
  • Too volatile (sometimes a double-edged sword. It could let you profit in the right direction; you could lose a lot.
  • Need to be somehow tech savvy(newbies to get scammed are easy)

In the stock market, here are the advantages that I could think of
  • Highly regulated
  • Rich history - A lot of things have happened already in the stock market, and there are a lot of data

The disadvantages of the stock market
  • Less volatile than crypto market
  • Fees to brokers

It's still up to you whether you would go with the crypto or stock market. Could you make sure you are investing what you can afford to lose? That's the best way to be manageable and profit in the long term.
1259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A retracement of Bitcoin Has Negatively Impacted The Crypto Market on: January 30, 2023, 06:45:21 PM
Thanks for sharing your insight. We are still in a range where it would only move a little if a catalyst affects the market or something. Knowing this information would help the speculators, but it's crucial once to open a position earlier to maximize the market's opportunity. Still, it's always going to be a risk for sure.

I would have a buy limit position around $25k because it might continue going higher if it went there.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 30, 2023, 02:22:18 PM
It's more of a combination of luck and effort for me because you need to do something to get something back. It would be best if you still took action for those opportunities to become successful. Like you can have an interview for a job with great pay and benefits, the luck aspect, but if you do well, that will be yours for a short time since you won't make an effort. So that's always going to be a combination.

You should know what you are doing and focus on what you can do and control. It's best to have a great mindset and efficient effort for what you want, and then success can come.
