Auch mal den Zeitcoin anschauen. Der beinhaltet gleich mehrere, (imo) tolle Ideen. Inkl. PoS natürlich. In ein paar Wochen macht das Minen keinen Sinn mehr, da nur noch ein Coin pro Block generiert wird. Bis dahin halbiert sich der Auswurf pro Woche. Am Ende werden dann 1 oder 2 Rechner bei einer entsetzlich niedrigen Diff das minen übernehmen. Denn nur die künstliche Diff (durch die vielen User hervorgerufen) macht es beim Bitcoin nötig, dass 1000 Rechenzentren nötig sind um einen Block zu lösen. Beim Zeitcoin ist nach 4 Wochen einfach kein Reiz mehr da, um zu minen. Das ist schön umweltfreundlich. Weiß eh nicht warum sich alle noch am Bitcoin aufhängen. Das Teil ist der letzte Mist. Do any of you even blockexplorer? Seems like a clone of mint, possibly same "dev". Same obfuscation of where premine went. Dev instamined. Anyone know exactly how pos will work? Very similar. i dont like that after 6 weeks, the reward will be 1 coin per block. its not gonna work that way. everyone will stop mining and it will just die. because no one willing to buy a coin at 1000 satoshi.
Diff will fall and single minerd will support whole network. No difference. or it could already fall so hard because of rapid block halves that it would die slowly and leaving the investors in pain of loss again. its hard to tell if i should invest 1btc or not. you will always have someone mining, guaranteed. So this cannot fail. the security of the network will come from PoS, so it doesnt matter if the network hashrate is low at that point. Yep, right - a bunch of machines could mine it. Diff is always forced with zeros.. Example: 1 Miner = djksljfloeioeuworuoew 20 Miners = 0djksljfloeioeuworuoew 2k Miners = 0000000000000djksljfloeioeuworuoew 1m Miners = 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00djksljfloeioeuworuoew Greets, Ray PS: But i believe there is also a natural Diff. I've been a pretty noisy asshole about it. I do agree with you that it should have just worked like all the other wallets. They'll get there and the fact that Ray and Sammy have been trying is great. I don't think either of them are official devs for this. Now *that's* community.
You're right, man. We are not official devs. Well, it is important to have community support / feedback. Please, do not reply "it crashes".. That will not help us. We need Apple Crash Report (or Error log) and OS-Version. We have to know if Gatekeeper and/or App Nap is activated. After getting 10.8/10.9 stable, we'll try to compile it against older Macos Versions (only Intel of course, scrypt algorithm is pure assembler, so don't expect any universal app) Thanks, Ray |

Angry acorn did you try this what os are you on? i did ye, didnt work! im running 10.6.8 snow leopard! before anyone says anything i have six or so perfectly functioning wallets with other coins! heck even flappy works fine. Your OS-Version is not supported, yet. Sorry. Minimal is 10.7, but not tested. It is tested for 10.8 and later ... In your case, please ask Sammy for his version. But i believe, standard compiler flags are 10.7 in source. Maybe we will change it in future version, but we've got not that feedback we expected (Please, more confirms). We know that it is running on most of the 10.8 / 10.9 64 Bit. As a Mac Developer you need 10 virtual machines with different os's or the help of the community... Someone test this shit on 10.7? Which browser you are using on macos?
chrome, safari, firefox ... why? Because Safari fails to download (on my machine). Safari is not 100% Mega-Compatible. I have test it again on Virtual machine with fresh installed Mavericks (Snapshot, without any libs, 5 hours old, Appstore). Works fine with the link (Chrome). Can directly start out of DMG... We need more people for testing. I do not know what has happened to your system, but something smells... On non-ports systems there is no opt/local directory... Thanks for your testing, maybe we will find a solution tomorrow... i have to sleep.... PS: thanks to everyone who wants to help. We have 12 confirmations for Macos 10.9, 4 for 10.8.
