So the big question is, what projects are you (the developers) working on? Where are you at on these projects? What are you doing with your time? We need news and updates every few days, particularly on the BIG projects.
 What are your BIG projects? I have to work 10h a day. There is no Dev anymore, only a community. We built in some wallet features - that's it. |

Lion, Beejay, me and handful others cannot change the world alone... We need a strong community behind us. Community is sleeping, so we have to accept mintpal's decision. It will not kill the coin... Have a look at doge and feathercoin... Multiple (predicted) deaths, but they are still alive. If there is no sign of scam, it's not easy to kill a coin.
It's a side blow for all of us, but nothing more...

I don't know. I kinda have mixed feelings about this one. Part of me thinks that this is mostly due to all the dumpers who either lost faith in the coin or else were only looking for a quick pump and dump in the first place. Too many people tried dumping their stash at the first sign of movement and put us right back at the bottom again. The huge sell walls haven't helped anything at all. I'm sure those huge sell walls will follow Zeit right over to the LTC market too. And that is a shame. Why these people are leaving so many coins on the exchange instead of in their wallets where they can be minting new coins is beyond me. What we need is a true believer in the coin to do a last minute buy up on the BTC market and make MintPal regret their decision. I certainly wish I had the means to do it, but I am paying my wife's way through nursing school right now... so I am BROKE!  This is a great coin with a huge potential for long term investment, but unfortunately, too many people in crypto are just too short sighted to see that. +1 Steve, feel the same. |

OK, due to lack of action, MintPal are moving us to LTC pairing 2moro. So all who have big sell-walls in BTC there will have to REMOVE them. This is likely to be a GOOD thing, it will shake things up & allow us some freedom to grow So, WHALES - you'll have to re-think your strategy now. MintPal @MintPalExchange 11m
We will be converting the ECC, MRC, SAT, TOP and ZEIT markets to LTC pairings tomorrow. The BTC markets will be closed shortly after. The Coin is community driven... If you want to change the situation, feel free to do ;-) |

Der Doge hat halt kein Coin Limit. Wie ne Bank - wenn man mehr braucht, wirds gedruckt....
Ob diese Entscheidung gut war, wird sich letztendlich zeigen... Allerdings muss ich sagen, es ist einen Versuch wert. Denke es wird auch ein bissl verhindern, dass Doge zu weit nach oben zieht - was als Anwärter für eine nutzbare Währung wiederum gut sein könnte.
Wer gibt schon gerne Coins aus, wenn er dauernd im Hinterkopf hat, dass sich der Wert vertausendfachen könnte.

If you've opened your wallet for the first time after a long period, there could be accumulated interest on almost 100% of your zeit due to the coinage. In this case, please wait for some successfully completed mintings. This could take some time. Unconfirmed mintings are orphans.  |

Yes it has forked to fully POS a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes a wallet restart helps. If not, delete everything except wallet.dat and restart. If your amount is wrong, start with -rescan. |

Hey, have a look at mintcoin, it's at 5 satoshi. It is 4 months older than zeit and has only 70 billion coins.
Zeit is on a place, where it should be - as far as i understand the market.

Ich bin im Zeitcoin Dev Team.
Zu Entwickeln gibts ja meist nicht viel, man kopiert einfach die Diffs vom großen Bruder (in unserem Fall Mintcoin) rein und baut ein paar nette Leckerchen hinzu. Außnahmen wären XPM, PPC...
Viel wichtiger jedoch ist, was die Community mit dem Coin vorhat - bzw. was er verändern soll und ob das überhaupt möglich ist.
Ein Coin mit einer Auflage von ein paar Millionen wird niemals großflächig einsetzbar sein und die hohe Nachfrage wird den Preis bestimmen.
Ich stehe der Altcoinwelt sehr skeptisch gegenüber. 80% der Coins halte ich für Scam - auch wenn sie sich etabliert haben, weil sie irgendwo gelistet sind und gehandelt werden.
Einen Coin, der die Aussicht auf ein ernstzunehmendes Zahlungsmittel hat, kenne ich nicht.
Der müsste sich an den größten internationalen Währungskursen orientieren und auf allen offenen Exchanges verboten werden. (Ein Schwarzmark ist natürlich nie ausgeschlossen, das ist klar)
