Don't forget the DDOS attacks during the last days.

You don't need a Ray to get in touch with Poloniex, uki. We are a community - more than that - we are a knighthood. What I think about Poloniex doesn't matter. However, we could annoy some exchanges if we tweet enough cat pictures to their official accounts. Kind of a soft revolution. Let's start with BTER Edit: Btw.: DOS attack, like every single morning.

Can't say anything about other exchanges,
but Poloniex. They've never replied on any of our mails. Don't get me wrong. We've tried it many times. Enough is enough.
Cheers, Ray

I do think that Ray needs to be the one to make official contact with these exchanges...
Poloniex is a red rag to me. Sorry. Cheers, Ray

He's running a mobile wallet.

Script kiddies are trying to attack the zeit-coin.net server. I've shut down all services. Hoping the school starts soon. Cheers

Added cryptsy ltc market and cryptopia ltc market to the 'master' depth chart. They convert automatically to bitcoin value so that the depth can all be on one chart. Page takes a second to load because some of those API's are fairly slow. Enjoy! http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/ZEIT/markets.phpWas working well till I tried to validate an address. (claim address) Cheers, Ray

I get this condition from time to time on a win8 VM as well. The client GUI never loads, but instead displays a blank window. The only thing that seems to reliably fix the situation is a restart of the OS. The CryptoBullion(CBX) client exhibits the same behavior.
There is much to-do during the coming releases. I wish there were more hours in a day ... Try to kill the process in win task manager. That should help. Cheers Edit: 2 of you guys are working with beta clients addnode=115.126.182.28 addnode=192.169.6.147 This version is not able to stake. I've sent an alert to all protocols <60008 Please update to final release.

All synced up. http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/ZEIT/index.php Zeit daemon is using an unusually large amount of CPU. Has anyone experienced this with linux daemon? Between 40-100% of my CPU. Mintcoin has a similar chain size and uses about 7-10% cpu. Anyone else seeing these type of issues? EDIT: had to kill it for now until I can figure this out, its making other coins explorers not operational. From time to time the daemon / wallet needs a lot of CPU power. (OS independent / stake locked) On linux you could reserve zeitcoind 10% of cpu power which doesn't solve the problem itself. That's why my own explorer is not running on a VPS longer than 1 hour without freezing every single linux service. Zeitcoin is an early Mint clone. Other sites don't have that issue (fixed?) - maybe Mullick from Cryptsy has any idea. Edit: log is showing a lot of getblock messages while high CPU usage getblocks 413499 to 00000000000000000000 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 413998 3d3a467bb6e5e7d462c0 getblocks 413999 to 00000000000000000000 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 414498 7a0794360e042f81a43a ...... Ray Sounds like nodes requesting blocks is what is consuming large resource? I set listen=0 in the conf, thought it was supposed to prevent listening to these getblocks requests, maybe it doesn't. I will check into my logs tomorrow after the holiday and see what I can figure out. I may just have to edit the source to ignore these requests. If you're able find the cause, feel free to commit your fix. That would be very nice. In the meantime I'll try to find out how our other service partners managed that issue. Thanks, Ray

Will update the install instructions and place the latest blockchain snapshot & a new bootstrap, up in the next 24 hours. Thanks. The sooner the better, the bootstrap on the website is imported by the beta, but then renamed to ".old" and ignored. Btw.: Everyone can build his own bootstrap with the old chain. On windows: COPY /b blk0001.dat+blkindex.dat bootstrap.datOn unix/osx etc.: cat blk0001.dat blkindex.dat > bootstrap.datCheers, Ray

Hi, can anyone please tell me where can I find bootstrap.dat file for faster wallet sync? Thanks Don't waste your time with bootstraps or snapshots for 2.0.1.6. 2.0.1.7 release is ready (end of this week) - but the database format is different. Because of that you'll need another snapshot file then. Cheers

The reason is: LTC is smarter and faster than BTC. All knights are invited to visit the sanctum. Voting! Cheers, Ray

Mandatory Update during the coming week.
* LevelDB support added (speeds up everything, reduces client freezing) * decreased clock drift to 60 seconds starting on 1st of August 10.00 o'clock UTC (Security fix)
Currently we are testing the changes. Looks promising so far.
Cheers, Ray

Was bzw. wo war der unangekündigte Test?

Ja.

Cheers, Ray
