Why are you planning change the PoW to block 230000. What's going on?
We are talking about the POW End time. Not a POW start time... We are currently POW. 1 Coin per block. people need some time to update their wallets. Actual wallet has no POW end time. Are you guys mining in private?
? Pardon my ignorance. I concluded that if PoW block is set in the future, it will allow more blocks to be mines. I of-course, don't know as much as you as of yet. Why set a PoW end block to a future block? Please have a look here: http://coinjoint.info/mintcoin-removes-pow-fix-potential-security-issues/Seems that Rat4 successfully demonstrated an attack against mint coin. When new wallets are out, everybody have to update...

To the zeitpool devs, nice work.
we are mining with 4 small machines into ECYeFytp6Cw9DyaKDykQCgi4rVHeRpypq Any idea why we had no payout?
I send PM, but got no answer.
Thanks in advice.

I only had to speak up because being the person who originally built the coin, and seeing the time line, I felt a little left out. A dev is a dev, but a community makes a coin. And you guys have a great one!
Cheers!
Good to have you with us coindevcc. Awesome job with the pool. Gn8, Ray

That's funny, I don't see me there and I built the coin? I believe a new dev took over about 2-3 weeks after release.
It's called open source. It's a derivate of mint :-) There wasn't any activity for a long time, so we decided to do something. I got no response from ZC in skype, so we (the zeitcoin community) tried to improve ourself. Sorry for those hard words, but there should be more progress. I believe our improvements are needed and important. ZC will love it, i am sure. Note: The main dev is called flagged... you can get in touch with him. Join our forum and sorry again for the chaos. Hi FaSan,
there is no need to add it. It was added before your release. Let us know which version you had modified. (and which fork)
This is the git published on zeitcoin official website : https://github.com/zeitcoinmovement/zeitcoinIf you still to use another I don't have extrasensory powers. FaSan Ok, that is our fault, i agree. Keep cool and sorry. I believe there is no problem with your wallet. It should has no POW end time. good to know. Thank you for this information.

to be fair: It is definitively NOT FaSaN's fault. We decided to modify the POS ending time. Keep cool everybody. Any particular technical reason for doing this? I hope this is not a bruised ego/spite thing. The changes that FaSan made were requested long before his involvement. Coin control is far more than a neat feature for a PoS coin. I've notify the pull request on the github about my mods. The devs can add the CoinControl feature simple to the future releases. FaSan Hi FaSan, there is no need to add it. It was added before your release. Let us know which version you had modified. (and which fork) Thanks in advice.

On that subject, it has been decided to Officially appoint SteveGreer to be the community Ambassador to this thread (& beyond!) Congratulations, Steve
You may now edit your mini-profile here to reflect this & you will soon find a 'badge of office' in your mini-profile on the forum, along with some extended privileges. Sweet! Congrats, steve!! Lion, it must be faster: (ouch)

Arrived ! Thank you FaSan You take a bounty only for compiling? I believe the credits should go to the real developer!!! He is testing around for days - and you can be sure that your build is far away from final...

I banned some IPs yesterday on the forum server. Some simple attacks on port 80. Some kids were playing... We find out, that one of the banned IPs, also operates as a node for another coin. The Domain issue is something different, There is nothing to worry about. regards, Ray

Please, don't panic. Mac and Windows wallets have OpenSSL included with their binaries. Linux distros use environment SSL. Only linux users should update their SSL manually (if they want, it is not needed for the wallet, BUT for everything else) Mac users can settle back, if they're using our official wallet. Exchanges MUST have an eye on their SSL Version. Windows Wallet will get an update in the next few hours. But again - this SSL issue is a global problem. Keep cool - Better to check your online banking etc.. Greets, Ray Thank you for your response. Welcome. And always remember, next SSL version could has further hidden backdoors. NSA maintains a lot of open source programmers - i am sure ;-)

Please get a working block explorer!!!
It is working - but sometimes it crashes. Info for mac users:Mac-Wallet 64Bit Build is compiled against 2013 OpenSSL 0.9.8y. Seems to be safe.
