1261  Local / India / Re: seems a great idea. on: April 13, 2023, 04:23:02 PM
BTW, you gave me a good idea of a good topic.

How come you have never thought of this before ? I have read about this several times before on this forum.

The issue is that shopkeepers have to wait for at least 1 confirmation before they can confirm that they have received the payment.
So basically they have to stand there waiting for at least 10 minutes before they can leave the store which bothers many.
The Lightning Network solves this issue but we require more knowledge on how to use bitcoin as well as the LN.

Besides that, not every shop keeper is educated enough to understand bitcoin very well.
We all know how even the best of us can make mistakes while using bitcoin.

Then comes taxation and regulatory issues. Bitcoin is not a legal tender in many countries and so we cannot simply accept it as a payment method.
The shopkeeper would face regulatory issues if the authorities find out that they are using bitcoin as a payment method.
1262  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 12, 2023, 05:01:04 PM
~snip~
As for the upcoming announcement of the next lottery winner, it would be great if a winner was some lucky guy who literally had a few golden tickets.

Speaking of the biggest prize, did any of the lucky winners publicly brag about such a prize? I would definitely take the prize in BTC rather than the car, because all the costs I would have to pay to import it would probably be in the range of a new mid-range car.

As for those golden lottery tickets, I play regularly and so far I haven't had the luck to win any, although I know a friend who has had more luck, and I've seen some forum members who have won them.

Till now no one has ever ordered a Lambo. I am sure freebitco knows that very well. For me as well that would be the choice over Lambo. Man forget about the import duties that I will have to pay, imagine the fuel that I will have to burn over it before I could take it out and roam around the city. Lolz. For me, it's definitely not a good idea to trade my GT's for an actual Lambo.  Grin Anyways, in my country the roads are not made for Lambo, either I will lose the bumper or tail lamps on the way. Definitely not worth it.

Rather I would take the prize money, put some in bitcoin or even use Freebitco's Interest feature to earn 4% every year and also put some on FUN token to have more earnings through WOF.

I will cash out some of it and put it at actual work for my needs in the real world. Yeah this definitely sounds like a good plan to me.

Oh man you spoke your heart out. I feel the same because even in my city the roads are not so developed at few places.
Although I can roam around in it in half of the city yet the other half is still not so developed.
Besides that, the fuel and maintenance expenses would suck up all my savings. It's a liability.
Taking up bitcoins would be great as the asset would increase in value over time can be used whenever we want.
1263  Local / India / Re: Another fraud of INR 1000 Cr is added to the history of Indian Bank Fraud! on: April 12, 2023, 04:50:16 PM
This is a really good point. These banks be like they are god and they want to have total control over everything but cannot do so because of bitcoin.
This is the foremost reason why they hate cryptocurrencies but what about the flaws with their own system.
If we look at the history then we can observe several flaws in the traditional financial system yet they want to ban crypto usage in India.

Another major reason is the media as mentioned in OP. It's true that a majority of Indians still believe everything what's mentioned in the news.
Although the trend is changing recently and people are shifting towards news obtained from social media but the fact is that the first impression of cryptocurrencies has already been implicated badly on people by the mainstream media.
1264  Local / India / Re: Can you cashout gift card from Amazon pay to bank? on: April 12, 2023, 03:40:26 PM
I found out that you can transfer the gift card amount to your bank account but you need to pass full KYC.

Is it possible ? If so then do let me know because just recently I got an Amazon Voucher of 2500 INR.
And I was thinking if there's anyway to get it in my bank account but didn't find any.
Also, Amazon have explicitly mentioned it that once balance is loaded on Amazon then we cannot transfer it to bank.

Bolded part in below screenshot.

1265  Local / India / Re: What happens next? on: April 12, 2023, 02:30:49 PM
As they have already mentioned in the G20 meet that there will be policies created by the G20 countries for cryptocurrency regulations.
These policies will be adopted by all the G20 countries so that they come to the same point for regulating cryptocurrencies.
The policies are still not announced as such but I guess with this move we can see uniform laws for cryptocurrencies in major countries.
We do not have any dates on this too and so we will just have to wait for the time being with a hope that the G20 policies favors crypto users.

Well, this might be a positive move for crypto regulation but taxation in India is still hefty and no changes to that are announced as of yet.
30% flat tax on any kind of crypto income with an addition of 1% TDS on crypto transactions are applicable for Indian crypto users.
1266  Local / India / Re: Getting jealous of him on: April 10, 2023, 04:59:50 PM
youtube is full of fake peoples !

after watching full video in deep i found that, he M**R** just copying codes and just typing on keyboard by watching every word and every code from right side written on anything ,

and in interview videos he is just asking some dumb ass questions and watching here and there like a monkey ,

Grin Grin Grin LOL. I liked the monkey part.

But tell me something, is it true that the guy is holding 50 crore worth of crypto ?
If so then yes we must be jealous of him because we didn't put in the same effort as him.
But if not then there is another example of a guy who genuinely put in so much effort and holds worth millions in crypto.
He's none other than Vitalik Buterin and he's just 29 yet has achieved so many things already.
1267  Local / India / Re: Did you know? How much did RBI spend on printing money in 2021 & 2022? on: April 10, 2023, 04:53:25 PM
Since RBI has been against Bitcoin and crypto in particular from 2018 till today, I wanted to know how much they spent in general for minting INR every year. All this blah blah by the existing RBI governor against crypto will go into the gutter if you read the amount.

For the financial year 2022, the amount in INR is 4984.8 Cr. Whereas the amount for printing money in 2021 was INR 4012.09 Cr. The amount might sound too much for a country that is considered a third world country globally. I found this information from a 2022 article.

One of the biggest reasons for approximately spending INR 5000 Cr by RBI is to stop fake currency. Do you know CBDC can be counterfeited? If not then please this topic - Did you know the significant difference between Bitcoin and CBDC Can RBI stop fake CBDC circulation? Will they spend such kind of amount to safeguard it?

Wow, that's quite interesting. Almost 4000 crore INR every year to print money and then they call bitcoin not friendly to nature.
The amount of paper required to print such kind of money, I wonder how many trees are being cut for that.
From one point of view, it's good that the government is taking action against counterfeit notes but we must know whatever we try we will fail.
Counterfeit notes will be available in the market at some point of time. This reminds of the recent web series Farzi which shows how people create counterfeit notes and use them in the market.
Bitcoin solves this problem of counterfeiting but our government decides to prohibit it's use.
At least now they have understood they can't completely ban it and has started to embrace blockchain technology by creating a CBDC of their own.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 09, 2023, 12:51:28 PM
I see how some newbies are complaining about not having enough money to invest in Bitcoin, some times not having money is a blessing in the crypto space, if I had money years ago when I knew about crypto I would have made all the possible mistakes in the book, and that would have cost me a lot.

I had no access to money when I knew about Bitcoin, I had the desire to acquire many Bitcoin but I have no way, instead of moving on with my life I kept myself busy, reading and reading about Bitcoin, installed my first Bitcoin wallet on a Pentium 4 PC, I knew about Proof of work, I tried mining for the first time using a dual-core PC ( second PC ), if I have enough money to invest I wouldn't have had time for all this learning.

I got so calm, because what is there to rush about? I have no money anyways, since that time learning became my first priority.

If you don't have the money yet, maybe because you are jobless or still in school, do not let that be the reason to be out of Bitcoin, there is more you can learn that will help you in your crypto journey.

Money is coming, but be prepared by learning about Bitcoin, you will be in safer hands with the knowledge you would have acquired.

That's a good point of view. It's great that you didn't waste your time and invested your time wisely learning more about bitcoin.
That itself is a better achievement than investing in bitcoin directly. Besides that, another perspective is that if you would have invested few years back then you would have bought at a higher price than what it is now.
So not having money back then was good for you because you can buy more BTC at a lower price now.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 09, 2023, 12:41:34 PM
I recently purchased 0.0045 Bitcoins which is still present in my trust wallet I believe with me owning a fraction of the worlds Bitcoin although a very tiny fraction in practical I am now a crypto currency investor  in essence a Bitcoin investor
If you are a person who has just bought Bitcoin and kept it in your own trusted wallet, I will not consider you a Bitcoin investor as long as you don't use Bitcoin or invest it in a certain company. Because if you are only limited to buying and keeping in your wallet, you are not much different from Holders and also from traders who also try to save for a while before they sell it back to the market. So there's no need to consider yourself an investor if your effort is to save before selling again.

That is not the way to welcome a newbie to the community. At least he has started his venture in the bitcoin community.
Now that he has started, he will get to know more about it and may be then he will be able to decide what more to do with his coins.
Besides that what more do you want from a person if he is already holding some portion in bitcoin. That's how things start.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 09, 2023, 12:29:20 PM
How many times I played dice on this site always lost, and the faucet never gave me a normal X
If you never win, don't play dice games because if you play, you always lose, whenever the house will always win, even if you have thousands of strategies or a game that has a proven fair system, you can stop at any time, don't keep playing before you can control yourself, free spins can you claim hourly collect it for sports betting more useful than playing craps there. hopefully you win next time

Multiply BTC is just a fun game to play. It cannot be played to win money. While it does provide the opportunity to multiply BTC but we all know how the house edge works.
We need a good amount of luck to gain profits from it which we don't really have. As for the faucets, collecting it is fun but relying solely on it won't be enough.
We need to invest in FUN tokens so that the free spins can get us more amount of satoshis and reward points.
All in all, as a long term freebitco.in user, I would say that investing in FUN token utilizing it's benefits has become fun indeed.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: April 09, 2023, 11:32:00 AM
I love to play Ludo game with my friend in this case i use popular Ludo game (Ludo king) Here we can play ludo together with another friend through an invitation code and also invite social friends to play ludo through social media accounts connected. I have not found such ludo game in casino sites.  Can anyone find a casino site where i can play ludo but bet with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies? Then it will be more fun for me.  I think it's more fun than other gambling games because it has to be played with your critical  Brain.

Just like you even I have wondered that why doesn't any of the casino sites have implemented Ludo on their sites.
I mean it's obviously a fun game and almost everyone would have played it at least once in their lifetime.
It can be a good candidate among the other games on casino sites but then I thought it would be difficult to implement it.
As others have mentioned it's a long game and casino sites doesn't really like long games because it decreases their profits.
Ludo is a game that is quite fun to play with some friends or family members and this game has gained interest from all walks of life.
If the option of adding a ludo game is carried out by the casino, it might be able to provide special interest for gamblers who were previously fond of this game.
Casinos can make a number of changes to the ludo game to make it easier to play.
Time is not a reason for gamblers not to play this one game because some gamblers play for fun so that if it takes longer to finish the game the gambler can still have fun and not feel bored or bored.

There are some gamblers who do not agree with the addition of ludo games but there are also those who are enthusiastic about adding ludo and this naturally happens.

You are getting it wrong. It's not the gamblers who find the game lengthy but the gambling site owners.
Gambling site owners usually add games which are of short length so that the user can keep losing money.
Now since Ludo is a lengthy game the user will lose money lesser times when compared to other games like dice or crash where he would lose money in just few seconds.
This is why I think gambling sites avoid adding lengthy games like Ludo.
1272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Set your mind on your goals and nothing else on: April 08, 2023, 04:21:28 PM
I am not sure if what I am gonna say is making sense to you or the one reading this post but here's what I feel about this situation.
So OP is doing good "currently" and is well settled. But that doesn't mean it's all gonna be rainbow and sunshine all the time.
We can't really say how long the profits will sustain and so OP has to be prepared for that.
Coming to family and friends asking for help then as a human being OP should definitely support his family and friends.
But at the same time, we must know that if things don't go right then they might come back at OP because it didn't workout well for them.
Some might even go to an extent of blaming OP for not supporting at will and misguiding them and making them lose money.
So OP has to make sure they are investing at their own risk and be wise enough to handle the situation if arises.
1273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can Make 785 + Merits as well in 365 Days on: April 08, 2023, 04:02:04 PM
Wow, that's quite impressive. Thanks for posting the thread by @fillippone . I will surely give it a read.
The truth is that merit depends on a lot of factors and one of which is the board you post in.
Many local boards are the best place to get merit but mine is not. A lot of the factors also depend on the content, vocabulary, writing skills etc.
But what OP have achieved that is a great motivation for me as well as others.

Someone is trying to lie here  Cheesy

Fortunately for us, every post is archived; This is what you said at first before editing the post

In 2014, Bitcoin's average price was $300-$400, sometime it even reached $700- $800

Let's say we consider the lower price $300, are you trying to say you sold the laptop at a flea market with (19,400 X 300) = $5,820,000 worth of BTC in it?

Nice catch and good logic !!

But how did you find it ? I mean how do we find out earlier versions of a post and where are the archives stored?
If possible could you please send me the link or any reference on how its done.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing is NOT money laundering, per se on: April 07, 2023, 02:39:29 PM

I agree with you guys, Mixing is not money laundering, and Mixing is not a crime by itself.

But the problem here is the people who use these mixing services, 95% of them use it because we get those coins from an illicit source, and they need a way to wash those coins, that's why they use a service like that. And that's the main problem with the mixers.

And is important to remind you that using this kind of service isn't free, so, people pay to hide the source of their coins. So, science it has a cost then is something that people will not do just for fun.

-----

Defend mixers is like defending guns... Guns doesn't kill, what kills is the bullet Wink

True, it is unfair to generalize the entire gold industry as a money laundering mechanism just because there are cases of abuse and illegal behavior.  This is similar to the case with cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin: just because some individuals may use them for illegal activities, it doesn't mean that all people who use cryptocurrencies are engaged in illegal activities.

That is very true. Bitcoin had been associated to drugs for a long time because of Silk road accepting bitcoin as a payment.
But things have changed now and people are using bitcoin for trading these days. Yet there are a lot of people who think it's illegal and some think its a scam/ponzi.
Its true that back in those days bitcoin mixers were being used at peak to launder the money used for illicit activities.
I guess bitcoin mixers are so good that government agencies find it really difficult to trace the coins back to the owner and hence they decided to ban mixers like Chipmixer.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 07, 2023, 01:52:01 PM
I'm waiting for the Liverpool vs Arsenal game. I think if Arsenal are able to win they will be champions this season. Arsenal come in with a good record, seven games without defeat. As for Liverpol, they are still fighting for a win after three games without a win. But of course Anfield is not a friendly place for guests. Maybe Arsenal can find it difficult to win. Liverpool  kept some core players when they went to Chelsea and ended draw. Maybe Klopp prepares for tomorrow's game.

Now that's a tough one to call. Both Liverpool and Arsenal are good teams but if we look at the points then Arsenal is way ahead in the game.
It will be difficult for Liverpool to win the match but again they should put in all they have got to win this match.
As for Arsenal, they are already doing good and should continue what they have been doing.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 07, 2023, 01:34:22 PM
Most of the casino works with big money,So they won’t scam for the little money.Which you mean as the bonus to the participants, the bonus is nothing to the trusted gambling or casino. If you want to check to find the bonus program of certain website, you should apply for it.Then check whether they paying you the bonus or not.The good gambling site ready to pay you even 1000 dollars as a bonus for the big deposit.Bonus program is used by the website to get attractions among gamblers,I don’t think they will scam on such program.

No, friend..... we are talking about daily drops and a lot of them for 1000s of people. So, in the long run.. it adds up to a LOT of money in a year. Remember one thing.... if a casino are dishonest about one thing, then they might be dishonest with a lot of the other things they do too.

We are the watchdogs for many people who might want to gamble at Crypto casinos.. so we must get rid of the "bad" apples to convince potential gamblers that Crypto casinos are not scams.  Tongue

No matter how much we try but in the end there will still be new casinos popping up who will try to lure users to deposit on their site and then scam them.
Taking out the bad apples will leave us with the good apples but the new ones won't be guaranteed to be good too.
All we can do is do our due diligence to research about the site before making any kind of deposits.
