I have contacted the dev and asked about my LTC balances - no response. I provided detailed screenshots and tried via Twitter and Email. Nothing. Does anyone know what happened to these balances and what are the chances to get it back? I thought only Bitcoin was affected by the hack. I've also tried asking about this here on BTCTalk several times, in this thread and Espers thread, but nobody even bothered to react to my questions.  Except the Espers dev asking why I had become interested in ESP again. |

I agree that OP is doing a great job resolving these problems. Still I have to say it is highly frustrating to read these "withdraw ALL of your coins, as FAST as possible, EVERYTHING" all over the place, but when I attempt to withdraw my LTC I only see that they are not there, balance is zero, so how can I possibly withdraw them as fast as possible?! I would really like to, actually.  |

Esper finally arrived in to my Wallet. Now what about my Btc! I was sold that for an emergency needs! But looks like Betrayed by Nova! So I have to wait for meeting my 3yrs old daughter even longer......
That is totally and 100% your fault. How? Just explain.....! I was referring to the part about meeting your daughter. I am sorry for that, and I don't know the circumstances of course, that's your thing. But if you make meeting your daughter depend on anything that has to do with speculative investment, that's your fault. If you really want something, don't give responsibility for it to somebody else, or to some speculative event. The most important things a man's life should only depend on himself, not something outside, and definitely not something risky. |

will it sound like all the other exchanges " i got hacked? or "it was a bad employee" "ransomeware?" or simply ...... MY BAD?
wonder if even the cold storage got hacked? and i wonder if the front door actually has a doorbell or just an arrow pointing out and not in?
i know i sound skeptical but god i really hope we dont have to hear that bullshit another time!!!!!!!

My newly created ESP withdrawal, gone. what about your posts a few back? did something change your mind? Wow this is impressive as well as scary at the same time, how fast people on an internet board are efficiently organizing the prosecution of a guy who they deem to have stolen their money. mine still in the wallet, safe, i send to exchange only when i need to sell, i still think they are there solving some maintenance issues, you guys could wait a bit i suppose, before screaming about scamming....
This is the first time something like that happened to me, so ... I guess it's a lesson to be learned?  I have heard people saying that you should store the coins in your own wallet, but now I understand. |

I have built the wallet from Github source on Linux ... so do I need to pull and recompile to update the wallet, or does it auto-update? Do I have to make a backup of certain folders to secure my funds, and which folders?

If you want to dump at the current price go right ahead. We never said price is our goal. we are not doing this for money. we are doing this because we believe in it. This community is the best one i have ever seen. The last time I heard this was the WARP developer saying it... Maybe price may not be your goal, but for me it is. Tell me when you have built a product that is worth $100 per person. I cannot promise the time-frame of our developments, but i can promise that they will happen. we are currently working on improving the stability of the chain. While getting more exposure. If we had More Dev's who could work on certain aspects we would be able to work on the other functionalities. However with what it is now, We are focused on improving fairness and stability.
Yeah, good luck. I am curious what this coin will become some day. |

I wonder why not more people are dumping their giveaway on Novaexchange, while it can still be measured in LTC. At the current price of 10 litoshi, that means everybody who got a giveaway of about 300 Mio. ESP got a giveaway of more than $100, which is plain ridiculous. So thanks for the money, goodbye  I have never got that much money as a gift from a stranger on the internet before. |

Espers is a promising coin but it's interesting that they made it trade against RADS in this stage ...
