Haha I would love to buy up the market but unfortunately all my money is still stuck on Novaexchange (who stopped replying and stopped donating to the fundraiser). Even CryptoCoderz offered me to refund the lost amount but stopped replying as well after I told him how much I am missing.  

I think part of the reason the price is so low is also because the community was ditched heavily through that Novaexchange hack. Some people turned their back, some stayed but lost their investment funds. Therefore, few are left buying. The expectations are still high for this project.

Well maybe instead of making the process of getting 2flav simpler (which is a difficult problem), it's easier to educate people how to do it the current way - maybe some small FAQ for new listeners, explaining things.

Btw. The block reward is 5 now. I expect people to dump their stakes now, so the price may go down. After that, it will rise as the project progresses =)

ESP is mostly traded in LTC instead of BTC because of the large amount of coins that we have, the price for each coin is very low, even lower than 1 sat. That's why we can't trade in BTC yet. It will be traded on the major BTC exchanges when the project progresses and price will rise to 1 sat. Makes sense?

Only if the developer himself decided to abandon the project long before the crowd left. You have to remember that this is a software project, a developer can develop any kind of software he wants. In this case, multiple developers which stand in for this with their real name. The crowd will use it if it works, I know of no crypto project that is building something of real use while nobody cares. (if you know such a project, tell me please  )

In order to make profit from such a project that is actually building real software, you have to think long-term because writing good software takes some time.

Nice to see you here m3rt1x. Would you mind sharing your ideas? I think this Flavorcoin concept has a lot of potential, but the question is how do we start. What should be a first milestone after church got the streaming licenses? What road to mass adoption do you have in mind?

Also @church please share your ideas as well, but you seem not to be very verbose about your plans so please allow for some brainstorming here If you communicate plans for the software part, more people might jump in. The most interesting question is, how is 2flav going to be used and how do we get there.

Just noticed that the ANN seems to be wrong, it says the maximum coin supply is 9 000 000 but we're at 18 640 079 already, according to http://2flav.explorers.altcoinsteps.com/. It doesn't make much sense to talk about any "maximum supply" here anyway because the POS reward will not go to zero according to the specs, right?

What do these numbers mean?


Also the "Available coin supply" on coinmarketcap says 4,205,631 which seems to be outdated because even the first bunch of bagholders of this coin are holding more than 4mio. Please church explain some things

You could also let users vote with 2flav and donate like 90% of it to the artist they are voting for. That way people can support their favorite artist in two different ways, by donating some money to them and also bringing new listeners and possibly new donators. This is social crowdfunding for music. And your station will get 10% of donations, no need to search for good music because the fans will submit it to you to support their artists, and will always be playing the best fresh music one can find.

You could select the amount of songs from that artist proportional to the amount of 2flav used for voting. That way you'll also be able to fill your stream 24/7 while still taking votes into account.

If an artist does not accept donations, you can just save the 2flav coins (90% of the original donation) in a wallet until the artist accepts them. That way you are just taking them out of the market which will increase the price.

For all of this you'll need some kind of website of course, and an easier way to get 2flav than USD->BTC-Exhange->Yobit->2flav-wallet which is too complicated for mass adoption. The most critical point for mass adoption will be how to make the process of getting and spending 2flav as accessible as possible, without people having to deal with weird 40-characters long crypto addresses and having to learn how to use Yobit. This is the real innovative problem you'll have to solve. Until then, we'll only have crypto insiders being able to vote, which of course is a good first step. It could be part of the roadmap.

Lol I just tuned into the Soundcloud from Flavorcoin for the first time (via this Tweet). I was only seeing this as an investment so far and didn't really care about the music. But that song, ‘Missing Home (feat. Always Never)’ by Tilka, is really good! I love it!

This project just made a jump up in value for me. If you are distributing music that is as good as this, for free, we are really going to go places! I've just started to see the opportunities. License free music. Users voting with 2flav. Live stream broadcasting. Bringing independent artists to the masses. This project has the potential to get mass adoption, at least some 20k users streaming. And with that, may be one of the first cryptocoins achieving mass adoption. Via the vehicle of music.

Maybe you should get a real website at some point. Please start with updating the ANN, the unformatted "Roadmap" section is still a mess (and it's not about the roadmap either). I already did it for you, you just have to copy and paste. This project may be about audio and music first but the visuals are a big deal as well. Think about visuals as "priming" the brain for quality. Like listening to organ music in a church, compared to listening to organ music via headphones at a messy train station. It does make a difference, even though the music is the same.

Uhm, regarding advertisement in the live stream, you should really think about that again. It has to be cool. Ads are not cool. (This might sound familiar but it's just true). Instead of off-the-stack ads, you might rather give people the opportunity to introduce their product to the audience, to *talk* about it, like an interview or little talk show, rather than throwing annoying ads at them. This kind of advertisement is more friendly, more authentic and therefore more effective. You should only allow people introduce their product if you think it's authentic and might actually help people. This will revolutionize the world of advertising on the fly.

Not necessarily. Maybe we'll have to wait until the dumpers are done dumping, which can, depending on the amount, take a while. Price will naturally rise as the project progresses.

Yeah it's great. It rewards early supporters like few other systems I've seen so far.

If you have nothing to contribute to this project, maybe consider not talking here at all. It doesn't help anybody. If you have solid evidence for this being a scam, you are free to discuss the issues you are seeing here. I am sure that people will be able to clear things up in no time.

Sure I would like so much to buy some more ESP but unfortunately all of my money is still stuck on Novaexchange.    Bejjan stopped answering emails, and the Novaexchange admin didn't reply at all. Bejjans fundraiser website is down since weeks. I am very upset about this.    It's a desperate situation because I cannot do anything at all.

While trying to buy ESP was the first time I experienced an exchange failing, and it costed me almost all of my money dedicated for this. Worst investment ever for me, so far.
