1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: November 11, 2017, 07:31:15 PM
I think it is because dice is an easy and fast game to play with instant gratification if you win. Some sites like Yolodice offer a social aspect which draws people in and allows you to make friends and gamble with other people. Level up systems are great too because it will give you something additional to work towards.

Even I asked myself the same question few days back  Grin I realized I love it while I play it and I feel entertained as many other peoples here.
Sometimes I do want to try my luck, so I play Dice. No way it was for money, because I am in overall loss in it. But still love to play sometimes.
A dice game is the most excited game few years ago , especially in bitcoin gambling sites it is so popular.
But i don't think nowadays people still play it as much as back in few years ago.
They have no huge interest anymore because some reasons include how boring the game actually.

Try out Yolodice and see if you change your mind.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need some gambling strategies on: November 10, 2017, 11:54:16 PM
If you like dice came to Yolodice and you can talk about and ask for strategies in the chat. You even get rewarded for it! You can make many friends and meet all sorts of people asking the same questions you are.

My prefered gambling sites are dice and video poker (for Texas Hold'em, I have own strategies  Grin )
Maybe you have some nice strategies against boring with little maths.

You can not win at dice and video poker, and I will explain why.

Dice is probably understandable , the house takes a cut, so if you roll a dice with 50% of winning, you will only get a return of 49% or so, it also brings less excitement because rolling the dice takes no time.

At video games it's the same, the system calculates what are your winning percents( depends on the game you are playing) so let's say, if there is a 10% chance of catching a straight, you only gets about x5, so you can't really win, no matter what strategy you are using.

You have a point.
OP try playing poker or blackjack with live dealers. The experience is much better from what script based sites have to offer.
As for maths there are very easy betting strats for BJ with tables that show you what you should do based on the cards that you got. You can be new to the game and still bet like you should with those tables.
It works almost the same for poker with the difference that people can raise if they got something good (or are bluffing) so playing poker against the site isn't the best idea. It's not only boring but gives you less options.

I think that live dealers could be a lot more fun but I have never tried it. I think if you really big time you should play offline at the high stakes table. Because then you can play properly and use bluff tactics and pick up bluffs.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: November 10, 2017, 11:19:32 PM
I usually play both poker and dice games they are enjoyable and if I'm quite bored with dice since it's hard to predict the roll, I'm stopping for a while and just playing poker. But before playing poker what I do is watching some professional poker videos and I'm trying to inspire myself so that I'll some encouragements after watching those video still winning is hard to do, it's hard to fight those bluffs and even the real ones.
Same here, poker and dice games where my thing. Enjoys playing poker especially when a great round happens, when your opponent is competitive too. And in terms of dice when there's only a few free time , like when waiting. In playing both we can really feel the fun.
Poker is the best type of game to master especially if your aim is to make money in gambling, there is no house edge so you can develop your skills. Smart gamblers knows what they are doing and they choose games that they can develop their skills use it to win, dice is just another casinos games that is not based on skills but it's fun when you are lucky as you can make easy money in an instant.

I'm shifting with other gambling games too but the most enjoyable for me is poker. I love to chit chat while playing poker and in real life playing poker with my friends is the best deal. There are memorable and funny moments with them so losing isn't a big deal. I remember this is one of the first gambling games that I went through so I won't forget this thing when I'm into other gambling games, the good old days is gold to me so whether I make money or not it doesn't really matter.

You not really shitty you just not lucky. If you prefer poker that is fine it's better to play what you like. I'm rubbish at poker or black jack so I don't play those sort of games. Yes it is best to be a smart gambler that plays to their strengths and part of this is to pick the right place to play at. If you guys like dice have you ever played at Yolodice before?
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: November 10, 2017, 10:51:11 PM
Anyone who has ever been or are in a committed relationship or marriage where both people gamble? Or in a relationship with a gambler with a friend, best friend, family related etc...  Knowing you are in it together is weird comforting and gives me some sort of undefined explanation.

What does that look like for you? Your experience needs to be heard.

I don't think it is a problem as long as they are not problem gamblers having issues with addiction. If one is an addict the chances are the other will be one as well. It's very hard for an addicted gambler to not make another gambler they with addicted too. It is better to seek professional help.

If niether of you has addiction issues then it should be fine as long as you are making enough money to cover a certain budget and you don't go over that budget because you set a limit and stop at that limit.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: November 10, 2017, 10:42:07 PM
There are no strategies and frankly if there were I would say you just used one. You started with 60k and made 3500k that's crazy. Then you say you need a better strategy? How about you just do the same thing again? You don't get any level ups or anything at that site you playing on, nor do you get a good house edge. At Yolodice your house edge would be about 4x lower and you would have got many leveluos and expierence instead of left with nothing because you did so well. Try Yolodice and see what you think.

Like I said in the other "Free Bitcoin " thread on faucets.

If you want "free bitcoins", then deposit about 1-2 BTC in Poloniex or Bitfinex and lend it out on margin. For every 1 BTC you lend out you will make $100/month of profit.

This is the only guaranteed way to get bitcoins for free.

Or you could simply invest in Yolodice.
1286  Economy / Securities / Re: Do you invest in moneypot bankroll again? on: November 09, 2017, 11:49:42 PM
Why would you invest in moneypot when they couldn't even make profit for anyone the first time around. How does a casino lose money? It's mathematically figured out and is fact written in stone. This is why there is a house edge. It's an algorithm it's like trying to argue that air is not H20. You can't it's fact. Same as with a house edge. Rather stop wasting your time and money on false and broken promises. Moneypot was a really great idea and worked well. Just the fact that it lost money. Otherwise moneypot is really awesome I mean it works so well and it's so clever. How can something so clever lose you money. Rather invest in a legit casino with profits to back it up. Yolodice is a much better place to invest.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: November 09, 2017, 07:45:59 PM
Don't wait. Buy now and start using bitcons. Don't regret and remember you can still use your Bitcoin t buy things. It is a currency after all and can be used directly. So you merely shifting from one currency to another and may I day you are shifting to a much better more advanced currency as well. Stay with bitcoin friend. Bitcoin loves you.

As you see, the hard fork of Bitcoin will come in Middle November. So, you should wait until it happens. Certainly, Bitcoin price will reduce.

Why do you say it will reduce? If people sell the fork drop for BTC then BTC will go up.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart people have bought a bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 07:38:28 PM
Because it's not a legal currency, it's not an intuitive currency, it's just a kind of data. People don't understand it, so fear it

Stop talking nonesense.

BTCI have to sell all assets, stock, sell the house, all buy coins, within three years, killing one coin will not sell, this is my confidence in bitcoin.
What do you think about the growth of bitcoin? Grin

Agreed.

i'm new to this, but my understanding of how things can (will?) play out are that BTC will replace gold and ETH (or something that replaces it) will replace day-to-day fiat.

That is, BTC will be a place to hold wealth, while another currency (with an underlying system designed for lightening-fast transactions) will replace credit/debit cards for day-to-day transactions.

We're only just now moving into the Early Adopter phase, so, there's tons of room for growth.

Of course, this is just my free opinion, so, take it for what it's worth.

john

I'm just holding my Bitcoin and growing it bigger and bigger so one day when it is worth loads and it is used more often I can't just spend it because I will have a huge stash of bitcoin and not need to use silly fiat ever again. I really can't wait.

I still don't understand why people are talking about gold for? You can't spend gold. Gold is an asset. Bitcoin is like gold Because it is an asset to but it is also a directly spendable asset.

Do not overdo it! Do not invest ALL that you have in Bitcoin. Yes, it seems reliable, promising, and we are constantly convinced of this, but what if something unforeseen happens? Are you ready to lose everything?

He should do it. He has faith and will be rewarded for it. You need something to believe in, and n life. Also remember when you buy bitcoin the price goes up from your own buy.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: November 09, 2017, 07:33:14 PM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

The safest way to keep bitcoin is in your computer itself encrypted with a password and keeping it in a secure offline computer except when conducting transactions. For someone with a little more technical knowhow creating and storing wallets on a fully offline and encrypted usb with multiple copies is the safest bet.

Why not just use a paper wallet then? Unless it is not for long-term savings and to spend from then you idea is good. So you only go online during transactions and also don't forget to update your antivirus and anti malware while you at it. This will be fine as long as you keep your backups safe. The only way someone will steal from you then is by getting your backups or with a virus. Since you don't use the PC much and keep it offline a virus is not likely so therefore it is the backup locations that are at risk. Just keep them offline. Keep a private key printed out and kept in your room and another somewhere else. Then you have your digital backups but your private key printed on paper is your ultimate protection. You shouldn't need it. It is just there in case something really had happens to your files or something.
1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prediction on: November 08, 2017, 07:55:51 PM
I think it will take at $7000-$8000 for a while now. I think we will see $10000 early next year and it will stay that way for around 3 months before moving up again. Eh ibows maybe come next year's end and we see over $25000. It's anybes say and anyone's game. This makes it exciting and interesting and one of the things I like about bitcoin. It's so much fun to watch how it grows.

I think that by February 2018 bitcoin could well reach a rate of 10,000 dollars. Of course. still will depend on many factors, including those related to the crypto currency. However, the general trend is that bitcoin will grow in price although, given its volatility, it will occur in a zigzag manner, with descents and take-offs in its course.

Agreed. It will zigzag but stay within a certain range. We can profit off this by csshng out and buying in during these zigzags.
1291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 08, 2017, 07:52:52 PM
It's risky to go all in with anything in life. Make sure your basics are covered. For everything else use Bitcoin. You want have regret. You have to believe in bitch and it as an investment. Always make sure you have a good plan and see the final result. Then work your way back from the final result to where you are now and if you follow through you will get there. This is called forward planning. You figure out where you want to be and then trace steps on how to get there. So no matter what you choose to do please make sure you have a good plan and not just that but you follow through. Don't have self doubt. You must believe in yourself.
1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What opinion from people out there or people in your city about bitcoin? on: November 08, 2017, 07:48:28 PM
In my city people at interested in bitcoin but fear cbtrols them and they didn't not even try it out or want to look further into it. Then they complain they work tomorrow hard or don't make enough money so I don't bother with them. Some people get more interested and I have met miners online but never traders. I also haven't met any be who is into bitcoin like I am. Oh well these people will be left behind and have to work very hard when all they could have done was invented in bitcoins.
1293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Invest in an online Casino on: November 07, 2017, 12:44:19 AM
I would like to but your reputation is red, I dont think this is a good idea here mate!

Nevermind have trust rating listen to what he is saying 30x my phone investment? What crap. So I invest 1 BTC I get 30btc I retire. Far too easy the casino would have to have like s 90% house edge and so many people playing ^^

If you want a real casino investment then trust Yolodice. Yolodice explains he the investment works and if you read through it you will understand why the OP is talking nonesense.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When BTC up, Why ALTCOIN suddenly down .? on: November 05, 2017, 11:57:23 PM
It's not always the case that when bitcoin goes up, altcoins go down. In the last cryptocurrency price rally, bitcoin and altcoins went up and down together. I personally think that the reason that altcoins are dropping right now whereas bitcoin is skyrocketing is that people are most likely trading their altcoins for some bitcoins, for them to get to have Bitcoin-Segwit2x coins.

I was also about to say that's bit skeays the case. Lasst time the alts went up with BTC. It really just depends on the coins you telling about but it does seem altcoins raise and lower together. Quite odd and interesting. It's all ups and downs though so you can't really tell. Maybe a certain coin is crashing today and you think it will die or s coin has died then it comes back and has some explosions in price. It happens.
1295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should starters use? on: November 05, 2017, 11:51:17 PM
I started off using blockchain. It is a good wallet and safe. I love it's look and it gives you all the information you want to know. It works well and has good security. When I think of Bitcoin and handling bitcoin I think of blockchain. It even has nice buttons to click. It also has it's own block explorer.
1296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile or Desktop Wallet? on: November 05, 2017, 11:44:12 PM
I think most viruses and other nasties would mostly be designed to Target desktop wallets so I think a mobile one for your phone is more safe. The thing is you keep your phone with you so having your wallet and phone linked means if your phone is lost or stolen you have a problem. You should also keep backups of your private keys no matter what kind of wallet you are using. I suggest use the mobile wallet for smaller transactions and more frequent spends and the desktop wallet for longer term usage.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on cryptocurrencies prices on: November 05, 2017, 11:38:37 PM
What is the difference between this and just but ng and selling the currency yourself? It would be the same thing wouldn't it? Maybe even cheaper since you wouldn't pay any fees only the regular trading fee which is about 0.2%? Unless this is just to make it faster? Esspecially with small amount you could make more bets then if you were trading each time. So to me this seems like arbritage.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: November 05, 2017, 10:52:33 PM
I will invest it into Bitcoin and wait till it doubles in USD value then while I'm doing that make more BTC and double uo the amount of Bitcoin through trwding then stop. Then I can out the money into a nice investment and live off if it for the rest if my life.

If were to hit the jackpot of 200 bitcoin i would firstly buy my own house and lot and a really nice car.
All bitcoin that is left from the jackpot will be kept for future use, 200 bitcoin is a lot of money and i dont want to spend it on some nonsense thing.

200 bitcoins are a huge jackpot, you need to play some kind of lottery to win 200 btc with some couple mbtc bet, some huge poker tournament can bring you this kind of win but you need to prepare for huge buy in too. Slots can give 200 btc I saw that, but you need to hit some bonus on really high bet, like spin to be 20 mbtc or more. With this jackpot I could do so many things like anyone of us, I can't imagine to become millionaire so fast, like in couple minutes, that would be a shocker.

Yes it's only for one very very lucky person. That amount of bitcoins is more then life changing.
1299  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any whales left out there? on: November 05, 2017, 09:05:44 PM
Are there any players that wager more than 10-20 bitcoin a day? I want to chat. I wagered over 165 Bitcoin last week on CoinPro.fit alone.

Do you like trying different sites? What makes you like them? Maybe you can find some heavy hitters on Yolodice. The community is nice so you might make some friends because you said you wanted to chat with some highrollers. Maybe you will also enjoy playing there who knows? Give it a try and see.
1300  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is Bitcoin Online Casino? How To Invest and Its Advantages? on: November 05, 2017, 08:41:24 PM
Investigation in a casino is very easy. All you need to do is visit a casino that offers investments. Yolodice is one of them. Yolodice have a very detailed explanation of exactly how the investment works and it's explained much better then I can explain it here. Basically you will have an account created for you on your first first but I recommend you create one by adding an email and password. You then simply deposit at least 0.005btc and go to invest. You then choose your Kelly and select invest. Your investment will be tracked and updated throughout the day.
