1301  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [don't have such a mindset] Bitcoin accumulation/investment not a competition. on: August 07, 2023, 05:23:37 AM
Yesterday, I accidentally stumbled upon a telegram message that people were always eager to buy more bitcoins, even at the beginning of its appearance.

I did not find a real post from this user; probably the account was hacked, but the idea of accumulation itself is relevant from year to year. Smiley
For some people, buying Bitcoins turns into a game of chance; in this case, it is only welcome. Having faith in Bitcoin is worthy of respect. You can look at MicroStrategy; the company practically does not give up and constantly increases its capital.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If one like decentralization they will surely want Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2023, 08:04:11 AM
Why do you need to focus on the question of how you make money on the Internet? Especially to talk about Bitcoin to those who have heard about it only from the standpoint of the media? From experience, I can say that this is a simple waste of both time and energy. If people initially have a wall to accept and correctly understand whatever you say, skepticism will prevail.
Posts like this appear very often on the forum. I respect people for their desire to help people, but there is a rule: do not "cause good" where you are not asked.
If people go forward, help them and give them a fishing rod.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Im owner of wealth club and here is my forecast about global economy on: August 06, 2023, 07:30:26 AM
Can please explain first your club and what is the purpose on it?  Because we are not all lives in UK which you some what talk with in your neighborhood. Also we knew that lot of people that are creating clubs because of the money they can get and I do hope that your thoughts are pure. Back to the topic am I the only one that more prefer to visit the tropical country than Europe? It  is something that you are just advertising your country but again I do prefer where I do see good Beach that is in 10 wonders of the world

All the OP is interested in at the moment is the promotion of his Telegram channel and the links to which he so stubbornly distributes. Several posts have been removed by the moderators, and if he doesn't calm down, his time on the forum could end very soon. Smiley
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 06, 2023, 07:14:05 AM
Why would someone sell a business that is giving good profit? The only reason for selling an existing business is because its not giving enough profit. So there is no point in buying an existing business unless the buyer is very much sure that its giving good return. Buying an existing business is like a copy trading, something that worked for other may or may not work for you. Its better to start a new business who fundamentals are known to you.

Definitely. This is equivalent to an offer to buy the training for a particular course, which in the future will become a source of successful income for you. I always ask if there is a profitable business, and what is wrong with the seller who wants to sell it ?
I would prefer to start my business from scratch, although the idea of a new business is not necessarily new. But my own steps will be taken into account, as will the mistakes of others who are engaged in the same activity.
1305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reasons for Doing your own research on: August 06, 2023, 06:24:31 AM
I agree with the OP. For newbies and not just newbies, sometimes it's hard to make the right choice and form your own opinion. I think everything comes with experience. If you have found this forum, then you already have many helpers at hand who will be able to deal with this or that situation together. I would never trust YouTube; after YouTube became paid, everything that is laid out there speaks only of subscribers and earnings. In the same way, the information on Google does not always contain the correct information, but it all depends on promotion and optimization.
Therefore, communication with living people here on the forum will give the most correct information or advice, especially since you can hear this information from several users and draw the right conclusion.
1306  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A "60 billion dollar" question! You don't want to miss out of the replies! on: August 05, 2023, 11:08:40 AM
Could you explain to me why your question is a $60B question, please.

I'm also surprised by the topic title, which is completely unrelated to the content itself. OP, you must have read motivational books like "How to attract users to your topic, make a discouraging title"?
A little advice, especially since you care so much that everyone is mutually polite, is to read this thread. I think you will follow the ethics of the forum and heed the advice.

Include enough info in the title so that readers can mostly guess what your topic is about. Try to condense your topic's main idea into a few sentences. Ideally, people should be able to write useful, on-topic replies by just reading the title (though this sometimes isn't possible).

1307  Other / Meta / Re: Community Vote: Add "Cybersecurity & Privacy" board to Bitcointalk. on: August 05, 2023, 10:30:30 AM
Your vote: Yes
Have you read the OP of Discussion: "Cybersecurity and Privacy" board + Poll before posting?: Yes
What is your opinion on adding the board to BitcoinTalk?:  I constantly monitor topics related to Internet security. To say that you need to know a few rules that will help you stay safe is wrong. Hackers are successfully developing their hacking schemes, and it is very difficult to keep track of everything alone. It would be the right decision to discuss all similar topics on one board; this is not only convenient but also useful.

Plagiarism. The second topic was removed from the OP, but he's stubbornly posting it. He doesn't seem to see any difference between Bitcoin and Binance Coin.

How To lose money during crypto trading (learn here how to avoid)
1) you long BTC at the price of $240 you get out at $250 with profits you wait to dump but the price keeps pumping to $260

1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 05:33:04 PM
It is strange that in this story there was not a word about Bitcoin or crypto, based on the direction of our forum.
But they also say that wealth does not happen for everyone; for some, it is too much of a burden, which people, unconsciously, try to get rid of. What was the guy like before receiving his prize? What kind of life did he live? He probably got used to it, and after the loss or the complete waste, he was not particularly upset.
People who do not know how to systematically use their money will always experience a "roller coaster" of losing and gaining.
Without competent handling of money, saving it, and even having large amounts of money available, remaining successful is a rather difficult task.
1310  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: A Feature in electrum wallet on: August 04, 2023, 05:09:49 PM
But it takes time for someone one learn everything in new software. I have a secondary laptop which is a low config (It says intel Pentium 3558U @1.70GHz) I don't even know what generation is it. It has only 8gb ram installed and 120GB SSD. I guess I can use it for this crypto stuff. The dual boot mode seems good as well.

Among Linux systems, there are options for weak computers, although your data with eight gigabytes of RAM will fit perfectly on other Linux that require more RAM.
If you do not need embellishments, then the choice of the Xfce desktop environment will completely satisfy you with its nimbleness and unpretentiousness.
1311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Responsibilities of hierarchy in the forum on: August 04, 2023, 04:28:32 PM
I have read all your OP posts, and I hope you are happy now. To be honest, I'm surprised, and I don't quite understand. Are you reproaching someone, or are you dissatisfied with something?
The first thing to say is that the forum is not a group; as you repeatedly repeat, it is a large community with different interests that boil down to communication about Bitcoin and crypto.
A lot of people, knowing how to use the Internet, get to the forum on their own. Do not think that here someone is obliged to teach someone or be responsible for someone. I'm surprised by this. Speaking separately, I don't care how beginners navigate here. From my experience, there is a feature called the "poke method."
Read, try, and ask. Nothing complicated.
Forget about being led by the hand. Don't expect too much; just be genuinely yourself, and don't forget that you are on the internet. And in it, people are very different, with a different understanding of the word "should."
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin was stolen from Atomic wallet on the 3rd of June on: August 04, 2023, 07:41:09 AM
Thanks bringing this to my notice because I was also looking for a wallet to use. But before you used that Atomic Wallet, you would have asked question and people would have told you to use a reliable wallet instead of using your choice of wallet and now you lost all the funds.

That's right, it's better to hear people's opinions several times on the use of wallets than to understand and learn from your mistakes and your own experience once.
OP, my condolences to you. Losing is always very difficult, no matter how many Bitcoins you had in your wallet. We often regret our self-confidence and maybe our ignorance of complete and correct information. But in this age of the Internet, every situation must be approached very carefully. You are interested in finding a hacker, but what prevented you from coming to the forum earlier?
1313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying food with BTC on: August 04, 2023, 06:28:03 AM
I don't think there is any restaurant like this in US or European countries right now, which can sell you food for bitcoins.

Have you tried reading people's posts right after the OP's question? There are plenty of places where people will happily accept bitcoins and give you food as long as you are solvent. Sometimes it is useful to read about what, all the same, there is a discussion about.
But as for the topic itself, at the moment I don’t see the need to pay with bitcoins for a cup of coffee or a bowl of soup. But I would definitely treat my friends to in good restaurant with payment in bitcoins. Spending Bitcoin on cheap food doesn't seem very sensible to me.
1314  Economy / Reputation / Re: Banned Accounts and their Merit Status. on: August 04, 2023, 05:53:46 AM
OP, a suspended account loses the most important thing, much more important than Its well-deserved or not merits. And this is the right to write on the forum. But it's probably not a problem for you to be blocked; the main concern is that the blocked person loses merits. This question has already been in Meta.
OP, There is no shortage of merit in the forum; if you are worried about that, look at yourself. You will have enough merit for your purposes, but there is not enough content that you could get merit for. Smiley
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending on Harlots/Hook Up Girls Instead of Investing in Bitcoin. on: August 03, 2023, 03:58:33 PM
What else would you do for money? You can deprive yourself of everything, things, entertainment, you can stop walking and check your health, you can live in a kennel, and so on. Everything that people spend money on, you can do without it and invest in Bitcoin.
You can't force everyone to love the things you think are right; you won't make the world a better place. There will always be drugs, and there will always be cheaters. No matter how much everyone wants to turn the world into a society without evil, This is a utopia.
For some, God is religion, and for others, God is money. Which part do you belong to?
Don't look into someone else's wallet. Somewhere, I've already written this.

And yes. As long as you see women as whores, you will remain an animal, not a man.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: The leads of Consumption to Productions on: August 03, 2023, 08:59:50 AM

Source of Inspirations: The abuses and restricted acts of my parents made me exposed and got me discovered what really I am to be, how creatively productive I could be and my realization of a man ought to work hard, earn money, earn more money, create means of income so there is no going from the Top to the Bottom.

OP, you were cherished by your parents for a long time. This is primarily their fault, not yours. Parents, from the beginning of education, should prepare their children for an independent life, as if you were suddenly left entirely alone. Every age group should be prepared for this in one way or another.
But, God, at thirty, are you dependent on your parents? How can this be? You know, there is an expression that says, Up to thirty years, you must work for your name, and after thirty years, your name must work for you.
You are a late adult.
I don't know how real this story is, but it reminds me of the stories of self-made millionaires. But in your case, you are very old. And if it is true, then "bow" to your parents, and let them return all the reproaches in your direction.
Sometimes parents stupidly "do good" to their children with excessive care, making them unprepared for adulthood.
1317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did Bitcoin Bring a Smile to Your Face? How Did You Make It Happen? on: August 03, 2023, 07:12:25 AM
Another newbie decided that Bitcoin would change his life for the better. Why do so many people not see the other side? Everyone thinks that if you invest a certain amount, it will grow by leaps and bounds.
OP, land on the ground. If you currently have a good amount to invest in Bitcoin, it means that you are already doing well. If you think that you will invest a little and soon make a good profit, then you are in for disappointment.
In addition, you do not need to invest all your funds. Life is unpredictable, and at an unexpected moment, you may need money that you do not have. I will not talk about volatility or the safety of storing your funds in Bitcoin, but what I read about changing jobs specifically for Bitcoin is, in my opinion, complete madness.
1318  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bold steps leads to another bitcoin achievement (New phone launched) on: August 03, 2023, 06:29:48 AM
I join in the congratulations. But I can't believe that you write such long posts on your mobile phone; it's just fantastic for me. I'm used to working on my laptop, and very often I see how people deftly manage their phones for such large texts.
But let's move on to the important thing: you are not only a good mother who copes with raising children but also a good support for her husband. I see posts by men who are surprised when they find out that a woman is behind the account. Yes. Is it hard to believe it? But this is true; being a mother myself, I can say that while children are growing, women have a lot of free time so as not to complain about fatigue but to develop. So go ahead. Being a self-sufficient woman is normal in our century; you see the surprise of men; nevertheless, it is a fact and a hint of acceptance of this. Smiley
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 02, 2023, 04:14:41 PM
Your allusion to the plenteous children of the French in the 15th century wasn't a secluded case. It was also evident in Africa (Nigeria). My Dad used to tell me that a part of the reason people of that era had many children and wives was to have enough farm hands who would help out at the farm and not get paid at home. Another was to fight boredom and loneliness. Can we say these reasons still stand today? Of course, not.

You know, I see it a little differently. In the fifteenth century, people hardly knew about all the methods of contraception, and it was because of this that they had children quite often.
But in our time, those people who can give their children a full-fledged education must afford to have many children, so that later the children acquire skills that benefit not only themselves but also the country.
But, unfortunately, there are people who do not know how to properly plan their family, relying either on religion or being complete ignoramuses. Being unable to feed themselves, they give birth to many children, which creates even more poverty. Is it possible to talk about such a population that can positively affect the country's economy? I think not.
1320  Economy / Economics / Re: The American Dream. What is Your Country's Version of it? on: August 02, 2023, 03:44:41 PM
My relative immigrated to America; he was chasing the American dream. Then it meant to have prosperity—a house not rented but your own, a profitable business with a total cost of a million bucks. All this beautiful life and the promises that, after receiving a residence permit, your life will change for the better turned out to be empty words. Now the American dream is a quiet life without all sorts of incidents, a more or less stable income, far from six figures at all, and health, which is very expensive to maintain in America.
Living in another place, in our homeland, we understand that we have everything that those naive people in America are chasing—maybe not with six zeros, but certainly our own.
