1301  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Just wondering about value of 2013 lealana batch set on: March 06, 2016, 04:03:44 PM
You can't really base a price off of ebay or amazon as they are usually very very inflated, and you will never get the price on these forums that they sell for on one of those sites.  I think 1.5 btc is even a little high for these, but that is my opinion.  It's always worth what someone is willing to pay for them Smiley

Yeah on ebay you will be paying at least 13% extra as that is the default fee. Everyone is free to their own opinion, but there are a lot of Lealana coins available and more keep being sold so the value is only going to fall further - you're best off selling these asap

Are the 2013 ones the ones that are still currently being sold?
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you want to make a charitable donation and have some fun in the process: on: March 06, 2016, 06:13:57 AM
That is a neat idea. I have never seen something like this before, but I really like it.

Good luck on your fundraising man.

1304  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] ~100 coin lot... Casascius/Ravenbit/SatoshiNote/Genesis/FxD/Lea on: March 06, 2016, 05:54:00 AM
It may be smarter to break them up into like kind auction lots.  For instance, I would be interested in the Ravenbit coins, but not necessarily some of the others, which would hold me back from bidding on the entire auction.  Plus, you would be limiting yourself to a select few individuals who are interested in all of the coins and have the capital to buy it all, which could limit how high the bidding would go.

Just my 2 cents.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What kind of altcoins can this usb block erupter mine and is it worth it on: March 05, 2016, 04:58:15 AM
Any ASIC designed for bitcoin will only be able to be used on SHA-256 based coins.  You can go to coinwarz to see a list of SHA256 based coins, but your profits are going to be really really small.
1306  Economy / Lending / Re: need 35.8 btc on: March 05, 2016, 03:38:50 AM
That is not going to work as valid collateral here.  You could simply gain access to the account/site on purchase, and immediately change any information that would allow the lender to receive their "collateral".  I would recommend locking this thread unless you can come up with valid collateral.  Here's a thread that will help you:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902
I will not change the password or account info, the only time I'll change it is when the loan has been
repaid back in full to the lender. Now I will just have to make sure that the lender doesn't change anything and I can trust him.
[/quote]

Well now that we have your word, why the fuck not?  That's worth well over 120% of the requested amount.  Also your 2nd point is down right laughable, why on earth would anyone give you 15k then change the password from you?  They could go buy the bloody thing themselves.  You obviously have no knowledge of how business works and I doubt there would be anyone stupid enough to fork over that much money to someone who can't even present a business plan with their request for 15k.

EDIT:  Nero987, if you don't mind me asking, how many bets did you make on the yellow chance?
1308  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] WIFI Bitcoin And Litecoin Price Ticker Screen - afkdata.com on: March 01, 2016, 12:50:57 AM
yes, what is shipping to US?  And do you have plans to make these any bigger at some point?  A while back I was looking into getting a full electronic ticker, but decided against it, but these would be really cool at between 6 inches to a foot.

you can buy 7    s-7's for about $5200  and get them in 1 week.  add in 800 in psu's and you spent 6000 and get to mine from march 4 th to sept 4th

with 32th of hash.  the economical calculations are just not in favor of your gear.  for 6400 I want it  in about 1 month  not six.
dude no one forces you to buy anything so you can STFU

The Ukraine is like the scam/hacking leader of the world.
do you have statistics or something to prove your words?
i bet they will ship from china but let's wait for ukrcoin to elaborate on this

Okay I will do just that.

I love how someone with extensive knowledge and know how makes a very sensible argument, and a nobody goes full retard on him.  Absolutely nothing in retort besides telling him to shut up.  It always amazes me how more ballsy people get behind the veil of the internet.

Good call Phil, these are overpriced for where they are at in development and the risk involved with sending money to people who have yet to prove they can make a miner.  Although I am not buying gear until after the halving anyway, if I was, I would take the Bitmain stuff now over a promise in six months.

EDIT:  NVM, he clearly has a vendetta against Bitmain based on looking through his post history, probably an alt of someone.

Not sure what a BTC dispute is. And my method is not well known, and I have more than one as well. Different methods for different scenarios. And I won't be "trying" to win it, I will Smiley.

Someone sends me paypal, I send them bitcoins, then they do a chargeback for the paypal.
1313  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I will win any PayPal dispute for you! on: February 26, 2016, 02:56:06 AM
Do you guarantee this ? because you should take some guarantee, people must not feel as if you are just trying.
I can give a 98% guarantee sure. Every time I've done this it worked, I've done this as a service before too keep in mind.
If it doesn't work I will give you a refund.

Does it work for bitcoin payments and someone trying to charge back after coins are sent?
1314  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: ☆ LuckyBit's Choose Your Promotion Game! ☆ 2BTC + Kialara prizes ☆ on: February 25, 2016, 11:08:56 PM

Do I need to post anything here about my bets or are you able to just see everything on your end?

Thanks to the magic of blockchain technology, all we need is the address. I've updated the registrations.

So I had a little talk with the other staff, and felt kinda stupid when one of them pointed out that I have no business handing out "cash" bitcoin prizes when we have a stack of these beautiful silver wallets available. So, there's been a little change: all "cash" prizes will now be included on a LuckyBit Silver Wallet! That's four amazing limited edition coins up for grabs, so if you were waiting to get involved you might want to stop doing that and start playing!

Is there a way that we get to know our lucky hash for each bet?  Or will we just have to wait until the contest is over?

I literally believe I lost IQ points from reading the OP and following replies.  This is the same person posting from multiple accounts and it is wildly stupid.
1317  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 9-12 month 16-17 bitcoin loan-backed by CF campaign on: February 24, 2016, 09:41:40 PM
You don't know any of the details.  It's called...discretion, I am not going to reveal everything in a public forum, users if they chose can PM me and clearly stated I offered verification. . I suggest you learn how to read; perhaps its beyond your capacity judging by the fact you think the amount offered is "huge"; I suppose it is to someone who probably makes close to minimum wage and lives with their parents and if I was going to assume as you did without proof, judging by your banner. gambles.

Anyway you did me a favor because this is probably a forum for the lower end of bitcoin and it is somewhat questionable that its users would be so quick to make accusations and without proof or go through something called due process.. Which requires more than reading a forum post lol.

So let me get this straight, you are admitting to being uneducated and then start making fun of someone for making minimum wage?  (For your information I don't, Tax Accounting is a very profitable job Wink ) but that is neither here nor there.
1318  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 9-12 month 16-17 bitcoin loan-backed by CF campaign on: February 24, 2016, 09:28:00 PM
Thanks for ruining my forum, troll. You excel at being parasite and ruining the site  as a whole; i planned to buy services from this site.

Its not your forum, I assume Theymos would be smarter than to ask for a huge loan with no collateral. No one needs another scammer around here, feel free to move on.
1319  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 9-12 month 16-17 bitcoin loan-backed by CF campaign on: February 24, 2016, 09:25:12 PM
Hey,

I am going to get the loan one way or another; you can verify through BCTJAM. It's as the discretion of users and the risk is compensated with the interest rate.  No rude comments wanted, troll elsewhere. Thanks.

Not a troll, go read the rules for posting a loan request on these forums.  Valid collateral is needed, as such, you are now labeled a scammer.

EDIT:  You also failed to come up with some excuse for why you won't go to a bank and get a student loan.  Instead you diverted to me being a troll and saying its risky so higher interest rate.  So you can try again, why aren't you going to a bank or federal gov with the loan request?
1320  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 9-12 month 16-17 bitcoin loan-backed by CF campaign on: February 24, 2016, 08:37:33 PM
There is absolutely no way.  You have no collateral for this loan and your asking for an incredibly huge amount with a brand new account.

Why don't you go the conventional way and get a loan from a bank or the gov to pay tuition, like most students do?  You would get a better interest rate than 11% and wouldn't have to worry about repaying the loan based on someone giving you money through a CF campaign.  I mean, I know the reason anyway, your not planning on paying it back and just running with the money, but it doesn't hurt to see what kind of excuse you can come up with.
