To stompix, If you believe that kills a coin, then you need to reconsider your belief in the entire POS system because that is how all POS coins work. There is nothing that limits actual use, besides, have you seen the coin now? It's not exactly alive. Go look at Blackcoin mktcap, we can be higher than that. What this does is it simply magnifies the POS portion, but only for the longterm holders. Believe me, there will still be plenty of shortterm buyers and sellers. Implementing Advanced POS and then adding anonymous features could be the perfect storm combination that takes this coin from "dead" to number 1 in volume on Poloniex.
Probably you're missing one point YOUR NUMBERS! Those rates are pure madness and only a bagholder whos only concern is to count how many conis he has would be able to say something like this. With that amount people will have no incentive to spend , just hoard till all their hoarding is worth 1 satoshi. Yes that is right, it will come in stages, everyone already on the list now will receive coins during each week of airdropping. And people that missed out the first time can still get in on the fun by signing up with their address at http://bitcointalkcoin.org I do scan each address and check to see if they are generated from the same account as another one. That is actually the problem I am running into right now, this means it is hard for someone to scam extra coins. Yes as far as I know there will be 28 million given away from the airdrop, 1 million given away inside of the IRC channel and on Twitter/Reddit and we are paying a developer to update and maintain the code as well as add in some new services that we KNOW you guys will think are awesome. The developer will not be dumping his coins when he gets them, he likes this coin a lot. I thought everyone on the initial list had to also give their address to http://bitcointalkcoin.org (basically as a way of checking IP), so I am on the list as well as gave my address to the link. 10 Days- 15%
15 Days- 60% (or the 4X equivalent of a 10day stake)

It would greatly incentivise people to buy badgers on the open market and continue to hold them. I would like the Badgercoin_team to let us vote on this change as I think it would be very helpful for the longterm demand for this coin.We will defiantly consider the idea, there would have to be some manual setting for options maybe in the coin age window, where you select how long you are prepared to wait. Update: The Verge is reporting that Twitch has been fielding multiple buyout offers, including one from Microsoft, but ultimately has decided on Google. Sources are saying that the price has been decided, but now it’s Twitch’s autonomy that’s being discussed. According to these new sources, which echo the original Variety report, it’s a done deal.
