There is no way this is Milan's best performance in this season. They were much better than this especially at the beginning as some of you have mentioned already. Now they are just inconsistent that's all. They first seemed like they were recovering but the recent loss against Fiorentina made things worse again. Milan are still not good enough at scoring multiple goals in a match. They should be able to do this easily against smaller teams at least. They have very effective attackers to do that.

In this situation I don't give Milan much chance for the second position. I would rather continue with Inter and Lazio would follow them right after.

Things are getting really heated as for the competition for the fourth position in the standings. Tottenham will need to play extra carefully and focusedly from now on otherwise they could be likely to lose their place to Liverpool in no time. Because Liverpool got an incredible win last week and its being against one of the biggest teams in the league makes the win more valuable for Liverpool. This should be a big motivation source for them to fight for a Champions League spot in short.

Tottenham are playing against Nottingham next time. Nottingham aren't a good team and they have many missing players right now. Tottenham should easily be able to beat them home.

Mane is back finally maybe but he is still among the substitutes anyway. It looks like he wasn't fully fit for this match and Nagelsmann didn't want to risk him. But his presence would be a big addition to their attacking power actually. Because they have to deal with an amazing duo like Mbappe and Messi in the whole match. So far PSG have been able to keep the balance in the match. Mbappe's being in the starting eleven changed a lot of things for PSG certainly. We have all seen how big impact he made in the second half of the first leg.

Maybe it is still 0-0 but there isn't any problem. I think this match won't end in regular time.

The opening match of the week is going to be Lille v Lyon by the way. So far there have been really competitive matches in Lille's stadium between these teams. Most of the time we have witnessed a tie at the end. Lyon couldn't win here for a very long time as well. Lacazette is suffering a thigh injury now so he won't be able to play in this match. He is one of the most scorers in the season with 14 goals so far hence his absence will definitely be felt for Lyon.

It is up to Lille to turn this into an advantage. I still don't expect a comfortable win for them but I will still give their win a chance.

Napoli are still in a very comfortable position after that unexpected loss. Next time they have another match against one of the big teams of the league - Atalanta.

It is another home match at the same time and I won't be expecting to see the same mistake being made by Napoli again. Napoli were very willing to win against Lazio actually but they weren't very good at finishing their attacks with goals this time. Luck wasn't also by their side. But I'm expecting another dedicated performance against Atalanta. Besides Atalanta are a pretty problematic team right now. I mean they are very inconsistent these days and it could be really difficult for them to resist Napoli.

Chelsea's job next time won't be easy at all in my opinion. Because they are going to play an away match against Leicester. I mean they are actually in a better situation than Leicester in the standings right now. But when it comes to performances I see Leicester a little more promising than Chelsea to tell the truth. They at least have a bigger strength in the attacking line I mean. They have scored many more goals than Chelsea in the season so far. This is a point to consider for sure.

On the other hand Leicester couldn't score any goal in their last three league matches and lost all of them. This might seem like an opportunity for Chelsea but I still don't trust them. I think Leicester can steal one point at worst.

It really seems like Real Madrid have lost their faith in the league championship now. Otherwise I think there is no way Real Madrid would still continue to lose points in matches that they can actually win very often. They are just playing differently in the La Liga and Champions League right now. We have all seen how they performed against Liverpool. They simply destroyed Liverpool despite being 2-0 behind first. It was such a great example of dedication for winning this title once again.

As of now I just expect to see Real Madrid continuing to focus on the Champions League mainly. Because Barcelona need to make big mistakes for giving hope to Real Madrid about catching up in the La Liga.

Alonso looks really promising for this season. It is thanks to the huge development in Aston Martin's car first of all of course. But Alonso is one of the amazing drivers in F1 history and he is benefiting from having a car like this in a great way already. Being on podium in his first race already must have felt incredible for him. By the way Stroll really worried me by touching Alonso from back in the first moments of the race already. He could have made Alonso's race really difficult there.

It is a horrible start for Ferraris of course. Especially Leclerc had a disastrous race. But I hope we don't see the continuation of this kind of problems. They are already far behind Red Bull and they can't afford having the same problems as a plus again.

We have seen Milan's weaknesses in defense surfacing again in the match against Fiorentina this time. This cost Milan three points I'm afraid.

Maignan was back in the lineup for them actually and this was a good plus for them. But even he couldn't prevent the bad ending despite making many saves. Milan shouldn't have let their opponent find the second goal to deal a final blow to themselves. Theo Hernandez's goal was really impressive but it wasn't enough for saving the day. After maintaining a win streak in the league for a couple of weeks this loss must have dropped the morale of the players. But I expect them to focus on their next match nicely and win against Salernitana anyway.

Leverkusen's only chance to do a good work is the Europa League now. But they have really tough opponents there at the same time. Their chance of even reaching the final is still doubtful. Their performance against Monaco was quite mixed. They played different in the first and second leg. All they need is consistency in not only the Europa League but also the Bundesliga of course. They have made progress since Alonso's arrival here. At least they have made the gap with the relegation zone safer.

But considering their squad quality they can do much better than this. Maybe their chance of reaching the sixth position is not much high but they can at least get near there and finish the season better. They need to improve their defending the most as their scoring productivity is good now.

I really don't understand Marseille. They had a huge chance for winning a title in this season. But they just turned down the big opportunity after being eliminated by a small team. After eliminating PSG I was just seeing Marseille as the champions already. Because they were very strong among the teams remaining in the cup. But they gave it away and now they can just fight for the second spot in the Ligue 1. Because they let their championship chance slip here as well.

Their performance against PSG here was horrible as you remember. About the Rennes match I can only say that it will be really difficult. Rennes can take advantage of their demoralized condition and even beat them. I could pick Rennes' double chance for betting.

For me the biggest event of the week is Liverpool v Manchester United. Maybe Liverpool aren't one of the teams at top in this season but it still doesn't change the fact that this is a special match anyway. Nothing is guaranteed here despite Manchester United's being in much better shape. But one thing is certain that Manchester United have a bigger potential for a win. It is up to how good Liverpool defenders will be against them as well. Because their main issue has been with defending most of the time.

They will have to keep their opponent away from scoring first to have the match in more control. Erik ten Hag has been very successful against big teams in home matches so far. I wonder how good he will do in Anfield. Both teams should be able to score in this match to tell the truth. In addition to that I think double chance on Manchester United might also be an option for me.

I don't think Napoli should be called as the underdog team in their match against Lazio. No matter Napoli are home or away team in a match like this they are going to be the favourite anyway.

I really appreciate Napoli about especially one thing. Although the point gap with Inter has become too much now they are still not showing any complacency. Not all teams in a similar situation in big leagues do the same to tell the truth. Maybe Napoli's motivation is different and this is why how they are keeping their concentration level high all the time. In the end Napoli haven't been able to become the champions in the league since the 1989-90 season. They just want to consolidate their title as much as possible. I expect them to do their best against Lazio as well.

It was a really unbelievable match between Marseille and Annecy. Marseille could have actually finished the job by getting 2-0 ahead before anything else. But Malinovsky's great shot by a free-kick turned back from the post. After that Annecy scored two goals in only six minutes. It was really shocking for Marseille. Annecy were nearly even finishing the job in regular time. But Mughe was like a savior for Marseille only four minutes after he was subbed in. It was a really interesting goal in the last minute.

But still Annecy managed to eliminate them by penalties. It is really hard to believe Marseille have been eliminated by them when we think Marseille did the same to PSG which was the biggest favourite of the cup.

The Europa League is very important for Sevilla as well currently. Because this is their only way out about qualifying for the Champions League again. Their performance was much better against PSV unlike their look in the La Liga as well. It also proves that they are caring about the Europa League more now. But they need to be very careful while doing that as well. Because this can even lead them to be still under the threat of relegating from the league even on the last match weeks.

Their next opponent is Fenerbahce here and that reminds of me of their incredible matchup in the Champions League in the distant past. It is nice to see these teams facing each other again. I can't be sure of anything about this matchup for now. Sevilla's job might not be as easy as they think.

One of the names speculated to fill Galtier's place at PSG might is Gerrard now. This is pretty interesting to hear about and I don't feel like it would happen as well. Because I just think that why would PSG like to bring another inexperienced manager with big teams in case they sack Galtier. It doesn't make sense to me. If they really make up their mind about sacking after the end of the season then I just expect them to go for a more experienced and successful manager.

At that point Zidane's name might be heard more often. As they are the biggest team in France now I think Zidane might really think of signing for them seriously. I can't imagine how much better the team would be then.

Zaten sakatlığından önce ligde oldukça faydalı bir performans sergilemişti. Sezona çok iyi başladı ve golleriyle önemli katkılar verdi. Ben Firmino'nun ilk 11'de Nunez'in yerine oynamasını isterim.

Milan are going to play another big match this time against Fiorentina away. There is a really significant deal of improvement in Milan's performance recently. After having a time period with big problems in defense and offense both they have finally started to make up for the loss of points. Their winning streak has reached 3 matches for now but I have some doubts that they can maintain it after this match as well. Because Fiorentina can make significant difficulties for them home.

Even though Milan became the champions in the previous season they still lost to Fiorentina away by 4-3. Now Milan's condition is not even at the same level with the one in that season. I'd rather bet on each team to score and move on.
