GPU- and ASCI-resistant ----- Since a large amount of RAM on an ASIC would make it too costly , an ASIC implementation is totally out of the question. GPUs will work, but won’t fare much better than CPUs. A top-of-the-line GPU with 6 GB of RAM can only efficiently run three simultaneous instances - A cheaper CPU with sufficient RAM can do the same. GPUs are slower than equivalently-priced CPUs at sequential operations, so running the same number of instances at a time, the CPUs will be more efficient.
As ShinyCoin will eventually use proof-of-stake for security, the proof-of-work phase will only be relevant for the first year or so. In that year, the hardware available to run proof-of-work mining will likely not change too drastically. Once the majority of blocks are proof-of-stake it will not matter much if a ‘crack’ to ramhog gives GPUs a significant cost advantage over a CPU miner. I wonder what "sufficient ram means there". Also , tying to keep asics away you might have created the perfect botnet coin. Seems like the first launch was a failure , let's see the second and ... maybe the third one.

First I must say that a coin with some sort of IPO and no escrow is definitely a NO.
But looking what the coin really is , a pure copy paste , the dev can freely distribute the coins , wait for a exchange to accept the coins and then dump as much as he can.
Seems like this i s the new trend around.

Seems like no nodes are up , can't send coins out , it will be removed from exchnage , website down.. While I'm not wondering about the fate that awaits this coin.. What the hell is a "catedoge"? This is the only thing I'm curios

Do you guys really have to quote the entire discussion above? It's not that your replies wouldn't make sense alone without the quoting, but it's making the thread far more difficult to read.

development continues? Or all died? Price shit, anywhere else is trade?
doug trade on comkort temporarily disabled atm. Was planning to withdraw all dougs there and hold and see what happens couple months later. Do you think that something similar to quark might happen? It is possible but still , with an onslaught of coin popping every day and with doug having nothign special , I really doubt it.

he will never respond to you ... he has been pm,d 100 times buy people .. he doesn't respond to anyone.
lets start a list of members and make a deadline if they do not sign up for exchange of there coins buy deadline than there coins are considered forked!... once deadline is over coins can be exchanged for new ducks and pow continues. just a thought!
I actually received a message from him yesterday where he says they would like somebody to take over. I asked some questions and am waiting on a response. A couple of concerns: 1. The bitcoin address of DUCK still has a balance of 50 BTC. This money was supposed to be for marketing right? They should own up to that: http://blockchain.info/address/1FbHh4tzvHqEnwaESYpRjwH3ykYBb4Zkxr2. What makes DUCK special accept only 121 in existence? 3. Is the community still strong or is actually the amount of haters bigger? Reading through the thread... It makes more sense to actually start a brand new coin based on the same project than trying to revive , clean the mess and make poeple believe once again in the coin.

Well , if this one website is responsible for 700 coins , I wonder how many coins really are out there in the wild.

Tittiecoin is not dead and will not be falling off the radar any time soon. We have a lot of support and a Tittie Loving community. We have not abandoned you guys.
We have been removing our branding and affiliations from 3rd party websites as well as managing issues with regards to individuates damaging our reputation online by posting slander on forums and various online platforms. As you all know it is a criminal offence and governments have been focusing on this for some time in order to pass laws that are punishable and will be tackled to the full extent of the law in what ever country those concerned my be.
On a brighter note we NO LONGER work with any exchanges. Exchanges still listing the coin will have 72 hrs to remove Tittiecoin from their exchange. We are setting the value of Tittiecoin as follows 1TTC = 1$.
If you are not mining I suggest you start... If you have listed your coins on an exchange I suggest you remove them and keep them safe!
Regards
Tittiecoin Team
So who are you able to back up the coin at 1$/coin. ? This sounds like something a central bank will do and not too much of a free market spirit in it. I do hope everything will turn ok for the coin , but it leaves me puzzled.

Half way there in two days. 2500 sold. This proves there are at least 2500 doge fans willing and able to support the coin and it's projects. Those are some really good news indeed.

Yes, there is a slow down on alt coin usage and Sexcoin has been part of it. I believe the coin has first to gain strength on a few exchanges before it can be move on to others. Perhaps we were bitting more than we could chew but we don't control the conditions Bitcoin imposes and alt coins follow. We will return stronger Wow , you're doing promo work for sexcoin now? Missed a bit of the hews here it seems .

I think Gash should do the right thing and return your coins. I don't think that'll ever happen. G Hash is not a military dictatorship. It has to abide by the the decisions from the majority of its members. I am sure than more than 90% of the members will refuse to send back the coins. They've done it once , why shouldn't they do it again? Good for reputation. Correction: They have never retrieved coins from its members' balances before, but just compensated from their own funds. AFAIK, this is. They could open an address for people who received the mining bonus to donate a few satoshi or more back. There was a guy with the a paper wallet that did the same mistake and a few people donated if I remember it correctly.

DON'T IMPLEMENT POS, IT HAS A SERIOUS VULNERABILITY.I strongly suggest you make it pure inflationary 5% PA. That's easy on you and provides better protection. I got another idea -- make the 5% constant. The block reward will depend on the total coins minted, so over a period of 10 or even 100 years the inflation will remain the same. What vulnerability? The one in your thread? No , sorry , but no .

PC and nothing more. Have tried a few games on other platforms but nothing to make me change.

The most amazing thing is, whether you question my motives, if I am getting paid or not, is the total lack of the "big media" covering the situation in Venezuela... No matter your political position.
Because people don't really care what's happening there ? Just like North Korea.

New Athens would be a terrible name
We could call it Sparta )). But it will never happen. It's just a dream with no real backing.

i was writing them a mail asking if they abandoned the coin but no response so far. What i don't like is mismanagement. You see that a lot around here. Maybe they don't want any marketing?
Corgicoin hasn't been active for quite some time, the price has dropped to almost nothing, I wouldn't bother with it anymore, Find something New !
Dead coin , early momentum lost .
