who needs android app? first thing would be more exchanges and coinwarz...
We are staying away from exchanges for a while to build up the value by adding services for the coin, however coinmarketcap and coinwarz would be good as well, I'll be working on that today. So you're building services and at the same time make it hard as hell for people who are not miners to get some frycoins. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of merchants willing to adopt a coin that is traded only in a few shady websites.

I wish I had played safe, and sold when it was in the 60-70 price, now it looks like it is just sinking. Is there any favourable news on the horizon? Nothing to see , check another horizon for some better news , seems like the coin is slowly and painfully dying. Glad to have sold , even if not at the peak ((

look at coinwarz, leafcoin has more daily total coin exchanged than doge. even though leaf is 5x as rare (100b total doge, only 21b total leaf)
that should be evidence enough for anyone with a brain to see where this coin is going.
all i know is i'm still very happy even though i bought in at a higher price than what it is now, fast forward 6 months from now, i'll be smiling from ear to ear =D
I just put a alarm on my phone with this link. We'll see you could set your watch to it =p 884 million leaf traded today 12 million doge sigh.. so many weak hands giving up what they don't even know they have... oh well, makes strong hands all that better off... consider this the 6 month future "i told you so" yeah, LEAF is so cheap right now. Now that it's 50% harder to Mine (Halving 2/18/14) people are going to regret selling for so crazy cheap. This isn't one of those coins that were made so the Developers and their friends could get rich by Premining half the coins and then just abandon it when they got enough money. This is, and will continue to be, an Ongoing Project. If a Coin Dev claims his job is finished after ~3 Weeks then you should probably Not invest in that coin lol. Leaf is a project that will grow and get better with Age just like a Fine Wine. The Supporting Community has a chance to be very involved with Leafs projects and Might just help make a small Change in this World that we take for granted on a daily basis. Are you another one believing that halving will increase the price? How many coins have to go though this without anything happening so you people stop believing in this myth?

One of the prime altcoins is WorldCoin. It is not for short term trading but for 2-3 years - it will make the bagholder wealthy as it is replacing BitCoin currently. The more and more merchants are announcing they accept WorldCoin as a method of payment, the community is strong and it is proven it will rise victorious even from the most extreme challenges.
Now really , what are you smoking? How about you compare the merchants that started to accept bitcoin this year and the ones that accepted worldcoin? The gap is only growing.

did you mine it for free if somebody selling it for 1 sat?
No , its' because people are afraid the coin is on life support and might get delisted soon. So they will end up with 0 instead of one satoshi. Wait ! You haven't seen a coin with 0 value? Or you don't think that's possible :? =)))))))))))))

How much pre-mine?
Is there a .conf file?
thanks
According to the website, 1.2mil is used for marketing and development. 1.2mil/60mil = 2% premine. Pretty high if you ask me....... Yeah , the usual we will use the premine for promotion , after which they give away only 0.001 of it .

ok you starting to make sence now! you visit egypt for holiday - that explains a lot about a person. what on earth have egypt and russia have in common, apart from soviet 80's weapons? (please dont mix russia ans soviet union into one - russia is a county that stopped existing from 1917 to 1991)
I was referring to his answer. He visited some eastern countries and he decided that those are the best place to live. You can't decide this by visiting , stay there for a few months , work there , try ti run a business and then decided if it's that good to live there.

Doge doesn't have to be 'the winner', it just needs to form a niche and be useful to achieve a value of a penny or more. Moving value around quickly and cheaply is the whole point to this, no? or are you naive enough to think bitcoin will create a transfer of wealth and freedom back into the hands of the people? please.
I'm having a hard time keeping up with your point here... We must have been thinking of two completely different problems when you asked about Bitcoin and Dogecoin referring to the problems that one could solve absent the other... I hope Doge does get a niche, and I hope plenty of people can prosper from it. People can learn about the "ease of use" with Dogecoin because they can just toss it around without feeling any remorse and then graduate into Bitcoin. Bitcoin might not win the currency race, but you can guarantee whatever currency prevails will be a better "transfer of wealth and freedom back into the hands of the people" as you put it. The roots within that statement are the most powerful human force on Earth. You can be very sure that people will choose to use whichever contender suits that purpose the best. Quote from 'Wallstreet' "the rich have been sticking it to the poor since the beginning of time." Bitcoin isn't going to change that, sorry. By the time we have a crypto as the world currency you can bet the same bastards who own everything now will own that. And you think doge coin will bring equilibrium and wealth redistribution. Top 100 Richest Addresses 22,185,998,666 DOGE ($31,353,896 USD) 43.45% Total Top 100 Richest Addresses 2,634,329 BTC ($1,681,655,602 USD) 21.24% Total The situation will get even worse over time. Doge was designed with an incredibly steep subsidy drop off. 50% of coins were mined in the first month. 75% will be mined in the first couple months. 99%+ in the first year. Someone getting involve in doge in 2015 would be like someone getting involved in Bitcoin in 2108. The first block subsidy was up to 1M coins (random). Less than a year later it will be a fixed 1 coin. Well , I can't agree with you on the last thing. The doge creator is known for not having a clue about what the variables were supposed to mean. He has mistaken those for months and suddenly decided that is better with an uncapped coin rather than a capped one , like he originally thought he has created. With this , and the amount of hardforks this coin gets , i'm sure that by 2015 we will have more than 5 trilions doge and a 10% inflation , to please the crowd , more coins such wow etc.

I'll ask again. What problem does *Bitcoin* solve that Doge does not?
It isn't that Bitcoin solves a different problem it is that is solves it better. How many merchants accept Bitcoin, how many accept Doge? How many well run, highly capitalized solution providers like BitPay are building infrastructure around Bitcoin? How many around doge? There is something called the network effect and no passing a few pennies between users isn't a network effect. Bitcoin is still in the infancy but the number of merchants willing to accept it is growing. As long as it is growing the network effect will grow with it. When an Overstock, Wordpress, or even Kongregate starts accepting Doge you might have a point. Your logical fallacy would be like me inventing a totally incompatible cellphone called a dogephone and this dogephone could only be used to call other people who have dogephones. Right now 99.99999999999999999% of the people on the planet have no interest in getting a dogephone because their cellphone works just fine. When you point that out to me I say "what problem does a cellphone solve that Dogephone does not?"Loved that. Besides , I would think we should focus more on the problem that doge creates , transforming the whole crypto system in a laughing joke. Bitcoin has just got ridden of a lot of ponzi scheme and drug coin accusation , and now , this. ((

Probably you lived in the wrong area in western Europe. Since I've been living in eastern Europe my whole life , even before '90 i can safely say than the only place in a western country that is worse than the whole eastern block is a landfill.
I have visited at least half a dozen Western nations, and three Eastern European nations including Russia. I found Eastern Europe a better place for families to live. Visiting and living there , those are two different things. I've enjoyed my trip to Egypt , but living there for let's say two months? Hell no
