Besides , if the fork has been confirmed I would have expected exchangers to halt both deposit/withdrawals and trading. Just deposits and withdrawals are at risk. Trading on exchanges is not a problem. Yeah , but if you allowed deposits after the fork , some people might be buying/selling the wrong doge , and you're putting your exchanger at risk . If not a risk of losing money , at least trust. |

1$ - who made this stereotype? why not 10$ or 100$ - and why are you comparing to bitcoin - something like- if bitcoin is worth 8-10 billion $ then dogecoin cannot be worth more than 1$. I'm curious, what is your attraction to be holding Quark? I know it comes down to money, but I mean what specifically about Quark?
I've already said, for me, the alternative distribution model is interesting for me. The security aspect is nice but not as big.

Quark is nothing to me , right now. I was at one moment holding like 40 alts or so. The thing that really bother me about quark is that i haven't sold more than 50% of my holdings in December. Is probably one of the only coins I thought it could bounce back even more and make more out of it. I haven't done the same mistakes with other coins , but I thought at that moment quark may be different. Man , I was wrong!!! Excluding doge (not released at that moment) , you see that all the top coin are different , bit, lite,peer have some big difference between them. I thought quark is going for the 4th spot with ease. And when I look back , i don't know why i assumed that. Probably all my rantings are because of my previous assumptions not coming through , and I feel the need to unleash some of the frustration... While technically it's not a true loss , I don't feel like selling the rest at 1/4 of the price I sold my first batch. And , hmm , maybe some of the attraction is because I can still put some hope in it going back up , but that is shrinking by the day. I have a few other coins that i'm still holding a few satoshi worth of them , but in their case I lost hope a long time ago , so I won't even bother bitching about. So really , no solid reasons to hold them ,  (( And admitting to myself and writing it down makes it even more painful. |

Please don't forget to donate. There is no such thing as not good time for cryptsy. Crypsty means exposure , you don't have to come up with a 5th generation coin first and then move to exchangers. It's the same as the bitcoin fork in March: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=152030.0Basically the chain has split in two chains , and each continues independently from the point of the fork. It's like all the balances are transferred into two chains doge a and doge b which work independently. |

Lawl...umm...no. Much noise about something quite significant. Any Doge mined on the wrong fork will be worthless - in effect, not existing, once the right fork is ascertained and made official. Likewise, transactions made with these "wrong" Doge will also be worthless. So don't go buying a ton of Doge right now. Time for scams to skyrocket. A fork is not dangerous if you don't do anything while people chose which to follow. The problem lies in deciding which of the chain should be followed. |
