1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: G20 exploring cryptocurrency regulation on: February 11, 2023, 02:24:06 PM
~
In current time of globalization, it is not possible for one country to effectively implement these regulations and thus this decision for collective effort might work better according to me.
The event is headed by India which has draconian taxations implemented on cryptocurrency users and all they plan on doing is to have a collective draconian rule elsewhere so that people will not have the freedom to trade cryptocurrencies. BTCitcoin is a global currency with freedom and the government want to take away that freedom in the form of regulation .

When you see top countries collectively exploring crypto regulation, we don't expect anything good from them to the general public.
They will make crypto legal but put too many taxes or impose too many things / bans which will only result is slow adoption of crypto.
Maybe some people think this is a bullish news for crypto but for me, it will create more problems for people, and they will be indirectly penalized to use crypto.
Time will tell how things turn up, and how will these government accepts bitcoin which is against their favor.
1342  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: February 11, 2023, 11:07:06 AM
I feel like the forum representative is not the person running the show. That person is just reporting issues to a higher up and is the go between person. Seems like they communicate super slow is why I say this. I wrote them 3 days ago and tagged their account while we waited for a reply in the scam accusation thread. They had logged in many times but have not replied to my pm and today finally replied in the thread.

The reply which they made in that thread is nothing significant as we are looking into the matter and it will be resolved sort of stuff. We don't expect his kind of reply when the withdrawal is stuck for 6 months. Anyways, it is better that have responded at least than not responding at all.

I removed the tag as specified when I added it. I do not know if they are scamming or are not, just tried to expedite a reply from the casino.

The ways things are moving, i feel you might have to put a tag till the matter is resolved. Who knows that negative feedback pressure had force them to reply and once they see the tag is removed, they become lazy again  Huh
1343  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: February 10, 2023, 07:28:12 PM
Lets put about the campaign and promition aside first since there is bigger issue is happening now in jackbit which is about withdrawal related to the current accusation against them.
It is not good situation for a new site and they should solve the issue as soon as possible, otherwise potential gamblers from this forum will think twice before joining.
It means that what they spend for advertising in this forum will be just something useless.

Signature campaign marketing only helps to promote the casino when there is no association against the casino. Here we can see there are number of complaints where gamblers are complaining about withdrawal issues and also the OP account is tagged by yahoo62278, making things even more worse for Jackbit.

I think Jackbit should take immediate actions to sort out all the pending withdrawals requests and make a post here stating that these withdrawals issues are fixed and won't happen again. If this is not done and the tag persists, i am afraid jackbit will lose a lot of business.
1344  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stake.com (SteveStake) is encouraging spam. on: February 10, 2023, 07:14:57 PM
They gave opportunity to expose about their brand name as much as they can all over the gambling board with negligible pay rate compared to any other signature campaign so its a kind of business at the end. Cheesy

At the end of the day, signature campaign is actually a way to do marketing of their casino and there is no harm if they want that their signature should be shown more than any other signatures in the forum. If they have a spam check mechanism in their campaign management, i don't think quantity should be a problem.

I've got mixed feelings about that campaign. On the one hand I think indeed incentivizes participants to make a lot of low quality posts, and I have seen some who write poor posts. But on the other hand, I have seen some pretty decent participants. The other day I checked that one I see quite a bit had written about 70 posts over the week and to me they are of decent quality.

Well, lets have an example if a person posts few posts a week and they are mostly spam posts and then there is another person who post 50+ posts in a week but all of them are good ones, then whom we will think is spam poster?
I think the quantity of posts have nothing to do with the quality of posts. Some persons may have a lot of time to write a lot of constructive posts throughout the week.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Someone sent me a Nemo wallet with 2.1 BTC in it. It shows a screenshot of keys on: February 09, 2023, 06:58:06 PM
It's not mine. I just got some sketchy message on telegram. They sent a bunch of seed phrases. Some with tokens still in them, but that had no liquidity on pancake swap. I've seen withdraws on those wallets within the last 12 hours.

Do not communicate with unknown people through social networks, and absolutely do not trust anything even if you receive such messages. If you want to do others a favor, report such users to the Telegram abuse service and maybe their account will be blocked.

I guess no one wants to respond to unknown message from telegram or any social networks but these people come up with so lucrative offers which is hard to resist. Everyone wants money and almost every other person is greedy, so these scammers are able to scam people.

Even if they hit 100 people, minimum 10 people will fall for their scam because of either greediness or ignorance. Scammers are getting intelligent with every passing day and they come up new ideas to scam the people involved in cryptocurrencies.
1346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: February 08, 2023, 07:33:14 AM

I've seen how it works before when there's no internet and social medias and it's fun as a young guy. But be careful since you hold money with you and you'll have to deal with many strangers.
I remember the past when my friend played gambling on the street where someone took his money, so since then he no longer wants to gamble on the street except at home, but it's nice that now the internet is available so people feel safe playing gambling at their homes and anywhere that of course makes them feel safe and comfortable to play

You mentioned this one of the disadvantages when you play gambling on the street, you don't know what is in the minds of the people around you. You can be robbed, or killed because of the money you win gambling on the street.

So for the gamblers in this community, having online gambling here in cryptocurrency is also a big help to them because apart from this safe, we are not hassled if we play gambling.

Well, street gambling is usually done for fun purpose and i do not think big money is involved in street gambling, at least not in my part of the world.
However, i know that people felt insecure when they won big money at physical gambling casino and sometimes, they were robbed too.

Online casinos not only resolve this problem completely but at the same time, we can also hide our identity completely. I know we do the KYC but this data is stored with the casino and they don't reproduce it unless required legally. At least if you do not want to tell your family, friends that you are a gambler, online casino give you this opportunity.
1347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: February 08, 2023, 07:07:02 AM
Recently I have been trying to come up with ways of making some money on the side and thinking of giving trading a go.

I have zero experience and have just been looking on Coinbase at the best and worst performers of the day.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.

Anyone done something similar or will it just lead me to losing my money?

I don't think this may work as sometimes the coin do not pump again to 10% if the market is down. Also, without using stoploss, you will be holding the bags of altcoins.

But I wanted to ask one question, since you have zero experience, why you want to jump in trades thinking you can make money.

Remember if you do not know how to drive a car and you start your driving on the highway on your very first day? What will be the result?
Similarly, if you jump in financial markets, you will lose your capital and nothing else.
1348  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 08, 2023, 06:49:19 AM
You are absolutely right, and to add, I personally have not come across any casino that listed a token that belongs to another casino on the platform, I believe it's safe to say that this is due to the heavy competition among online casinos, every one of them is trying their possible best to become the best, and I believe they probably see listing a token belonging to another casino as helping such a casino to climb up, which is something they don't want to do, this is just pure business ethics I believe.
Apart from the competition so far there has been no casino token that has impressed its performance so that it can attract many people to invest in it, even some casino tokens that can be said to be famous have trading volumes that are also very small compared to the coins that many casinos use as their means of payment, so if some casino put it in maybe not many will play with the token because there is a fear that it will be difficult to sell it because of the low trading volume.

Most of the casino token are down because the overall crypto market is down but i too agree that why would people use a casino token to gamble when they can gamble with bitcoin or other coins like Dogecoin, litecoin etc
In order to make the casino coin valuable, the casino owners need to offer some incentive, for example they can start a promotion that if the gamblers use the casino token for gambling, they will offer cashback etc.

In simple words, without any promotions, it's difficult to convince gamblers to gamble with casino token.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2023, 05:37:24 AM
bitcoin can Crashed again Below $20K Level or Not ?
how much Probability for Down ?

suggest please I can bear some Loss but Can,t afford 100% loss

waiting for all expert members suggestion?

At the current bitcoin price of 23,000$, you may invest 60% of your savings in bitcoin and hopefully you will gain good profit if you can be able to hold it until 2025.

There are few things to note, that bitcoin won't go to zero and hence you will never face 100% loss. Even if bitcoin price dump in the short term, it won't be a loss for you if you do not sell and just hold it. Your portfolio may show you are in loss but important thing is not to sell your bitcoins. You will only be in a true loss if you sell your coins cheaply.
1350  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Safest Exchanges in the World on: February 08, 2023, 04:44:27 AM
I understand that you're looking for a platform where you can have a position. Of course, there are always risks involved when having funds in exchanges. But I generally believe it is much easier for a smaller and unknown exchange to suddenly exit, become insolvent, go bankrupt, and so on. So it is generally safer to choose those large exchanges that are trusted by many, established, and have a more or less long and solid track record. And since you're planning to distribute your funds to several exchanges, then I guess you should try to check FTX, Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, ByBit, and Okex.

If the OP had followed your advice and opted for FTX, he must have been ruined by now. I know that FTX was a reputed exchange at that time but still it scammed.
Binance is the world no 1 and i guess the most trusted exchange as they have witness the most withdrawals during the FTX crash and they still survived, Still i won't say that binance is 100% safe, yet but maybe it is better from other exchanges.

I will suggest that both the ideas of trusting one exchange too much, or using different exchanges at a time is not good. Rather select one exchange but deposit only little amount required for trading and if you have bought some bitcoin / altcoins in spot immediately move them out in your personal wallet. Even for swing trades, which may be active for few days to few weeks, move the coins out of the exchange.
1351  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - any experience/opinions? on: February 08, 2023, 04:28:58 AM
Some time ago I started to entertain the idea of becoming a seller on the Binance P2P Trading platform, but not sure if it's worth it, and to be fair, I don't quite understand that market.

I can get the technicalities from Binance FAQs and guidance, but struggling to understand who would actually use P2P Trading for buying, as it seems more expensive than the traditional way of using bank cards or fiat deposits. Is it targeted at people from jurisdictions where banks are banning transfers to crypto exchanges?

Has anyone ever used Binance P2P at all and would like to share their experience? Any feedback, whether from buyers or sellers, is welcome.

I have been using Binance P2P for a very long time and there has been no issue ever experienced. Although i never placed any ad of buying or selling, rather i just bought and sell my own bitcoins with the merchants avaiable on binance P2P. If you are careful in selecting good merchants by checking their review history, release & payment time, you will never be scammed.

Yes, I notice a seller that is 24 hours online I don't know if they are using bot or have an employee to do so. and yes usually they just transferred the money without anything to say become a p2p seller is not just waiting for the order but also staring at the chart and notice price movement too right

I think those 24/7 sellers must be running a proper exchange business and may have hired people to be online in different shifts. A single individual can't be online 24/7 and also a bot won't be able to handle each request which may requires sending payments to different customers bank accounts and setting them up etc.
1352  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance suspends withdrawl on: February 07, 2023, 11:57:25 PM
Binance Will Temporarily Suspend US Dollar Bank Transfers starting from Wednesday

Source:
https://decrypt.co/120678/binance-suspends-us-dollar-bank-transfers

Though its no something major in terms of revenue and userbase of Binance USA clients as said by them ,

Is this something indicative according to you...

Does it has to do with SEC being investigating all the Binance activities in regards to involved in some kind of illicit activities..

Share your opinion..

This step is taken more in terms of defending them against any legal action and it won't have any impact on the general users of binance.
At first, when i saw this tweet on the social media, i was a bit worried but later found out that they have only suspended the deposit and withdrawal of dollar through banking channel.
It won't have any effect on P2P and you can still buy/sell USDT through P2P.
1353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you finding a virtual assistant as a Campaign Manager? on: February 07, 2023, 11:39:02 PM
Can't remember if any manager has ever hired someone as an assistant, it doesn't seem like a career that would offer more opportunities and last longer.
It's a good idea to offer your own specific skills on the service board.

I don't think that any manager will hire an assistant which may help in counting the posts for the signature participants etc. The only way this may happen if a campaign manager has a lot of projects to handle and could not find time to handle all of them alone. But again, since there are not so many Signature campaigns / bounty running in parallel, the managers usually won't hire anyone,

By the way (read the poll), is there any country where cheating is legal?

Cheating is illegal morally so how it can be legal in any country.  Those who cheat may regret it in life in the long term.
1354  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 07, 2023, 03:28:34 PM
More gamblers will appreciate using there phones to make bets than having to using desktops that are not always mobile. We cam take our phones to anywhere we like even to the toilet and secretly make bets or book games that we may want to paly letter.
Op need to know that desktop is not easy to use because it's partially mobile.

You are right about phones being more mobile because they are easy to carry around but not all players are people who are always on the move because there must be some of them who also spend more time at home so a desktop would be the choice and I don't know if there has been any research on that which device is more or chosen by the player so the assessment so far is only based on personal preferences and experience.

I haven't seen a study about it just yet, but there are already numerous website articles regarding which is more preferred by the players to use while gambling in their respective casino websites or applications. Mostly, the portability and ease of usage are what the gamblers are after to. Hence, there are really a huge populations siding with the mobile devices. However, if we're going to talk about the navigation and user interface, the desktop has a huge population as well.

It just really boils down to having various preferences and being in different circumstances in life. To some, desktop is better because they want the wider view and they can afford it, while some prefer mobile phone so they can bring and use it anywhere. There are certain times I'm also wondering which side will I be, but I guess I will be switching from one to another depending on my need and on my situation. Basically, whichever will work best while I'm in a specific position.
You are very correct mate, your assertion are quite alright. Most players would prefer to using desktop for easy navigation and user interface together with the application compatibility and the desktop device compared to the Android phone. The desktop would create room for feasible and flexible User experience  and comfort. That does not mean that the Android is not working fine and good as soon gamers or gamblers would also prefer it more to desktop for their own convenience and benefit. As most people are not that stable, they move about and when moving about, their is no way they can easily move about with desktop so the preferable one to them is android phone so therefore, they would opt for it as it is the only option they have compared to the desktop which is not in anyways portable  as the phone.

Yes, if you ask from majority of the gamblers most will prefer desktop over the mobile. There may be many reasons for this as it is convenient to gamble on desktop screen as compared to the small mobile screens.

This does not mean that the gambling companies should not make the mobile apps. Gambling sites with the mobile app can gain more audience as every now and then, the gamblers are not always on the desktop and sometimes they need the gambling app, at such a point these apps can become really handy.
1355  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency Law in Bangladesh on: February 06, 2023, 07:30:08 PM
This literally says that you can't hold any cryptos but it's not a criminal offense if you trade them  Huh

To be fair, it's probably not the author of the article who's to blame, but just the Bangladeshi regulatory mess.

I think that in most part of the world, the message is same from the governments, that is to stay away from crypto currencies. We can see why the government will never accept crypto currencies as it will just make the people strong, and government do not want that to happen.

Sadly, the Cryptocurrency laws are made by the governments, which are usually not much popular among the citizens and general public.
1356  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 05, 2023, 10:30:53 AM
yes, probably there's a new contest coming soon

these other styles of games like guessing games are quite popular too and useful to farm some engagement as well
like guess how much money will be used to bet in a determined game at a determine date, the ones with the best guess earns a prize
Keeping players engaged in different activities with lot of rewards is surely best way to gain more user base for your casino but if you are saying about another art contest then it might around the clock so let's see if it comes soon and with new theme or have category based submission in this one also or not.

That's how you can entertain the gamblers since aside for trying to engage them on your platform since many choices will not make them bored since there's so many option we can choose to participate and when many people join on their conducted contest it add proper visibility of their casino plus they can get positive trust score especially when the contest held successfully and the prize got distributed to the rightful winners. For sure Roobet will not miss any seasonal event and there will be implemented for that occasion.

Roobet is one platform where we are sure that they will never miss any seasonal event. This is indeed very good not only for their promotions but also for the gamblers who play at their site.
Such events keep the gamblers interested and busy at the site and they enjoy these promotions along with gambling at the same time.

Let's see what they come up with on this valentine season Smiley
1357  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: February 05, 2023, 09:58:16 AM
Very happy because today bitcoin rising again and almost touches $ 24k, although there is now a small decline but still in a good range of $ 23700, I am optimistic that in 2023 it will rise again like 2021 or maybe better, hopefully there are no big cases anymore which made panic like 2022.
but till today , this very moment? stays ALMOST 24k , meaning we are far from extending the increase at least another week or this whole month?
though we all believe that bottom is gone but we are waiting for When is the increase completely happening and not just like this that we are almost blind to what will truly come.

Looking at the fundamentals, it seems that we have seen the bitcoin bottom and we may never go below 20,000$. Also, i still want to see bitcoin over 25K and stay above that level for over a week.

Any negative news can still make market dump but i think it is very difficult to see bitcoin again in the range of 15K-17K. By the way, if bottom is in, this means we are now heading towards all time high but it may take few months to year to reach all time high for bitcoin.
1358  Other / Meta / Re: I am login at forum but forget password on: February 05, 2023, 06:01:13 AM
I am in strange trouble at the moment. I am logged in my browser but i have forgotten the password.
I will remain login as long as i don't logout. Is there any way i can recover my password ?

That account was registered in 2016, it is over 6 years and you have not made up to 7 posts since then. That account is not much of anything yet so you can abandon it and start afresh. But something does not fit right with your story. Am lost why you are bothered about reclaiming that account. Eventhough it was a bought account, why would anyone buy such an account with such less posts and activities.

The account isn't of much value but how do you know that is a bought account? I do not see any recent password change or email change which can give the clue that the account is bought. Secondly if it is really bought, the original owner has still has its password, and OP can get help from him knowing his account password.

so it will not a big problem if you lost your account. you can just create a new account and continue to enjoy this forum. but you need to know this forum will never allow your shit posting like before. so keep in your mind of this matter

Yes, he can create new account but before doing that he must know that he has to keep the password save, use an active email, learn how to sign the bitcoin address and the most important thing, abandon the shitposting.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Someone sent me a Nemo wallet with 2.1 BTC in it. It shows a screenshot of keys on: February 05, 2023, 05:37:55 AM
PS: If they give you a seed in the form of recovery file, it most likely contains malware/trojan, delete them immediately!

I think deleting only won't eliminate the risk completely, better he should reimage his system. If he only deletes the file, which he already opened, the malware might be residing on his hard disk. A hard disk format is the best precaution in this case.

Always confirm contract address of coin/token before you add them in your wallet & never add such fake/scam coins in your wallet, there is possibility that scammers will steal your funds when you try to sell such scam coins. There are thousands of fake currencies circulating in crypto space with similar name to legitimate coins name like Dogecoin and many others. I always check/confirm contract address on https://coinmarketcap.com/ before I decide to buy or add coin in my wallet.

We usually connect our wallets to sites in order to get airdrops too. So, in that case, create a new wallet and then claim the airdrop. We should not connect our main wallet to random sites. This is another precaution which should be taken care of, if we want to be safe.

I had a polite conversation with him to gather as much knowledge as possible and save my local community. Here is the complete conversation.

Good that you have taken the screenshot of the whole conversation. Usually when the scammers see that they are unsuccessful in convincing us, they would delete the chat , so it can't be presented as a proof to help others, as you did here.

It's very suspicious because If the job is real then why use someone else accounts?
I have no idea about how they operate but because JazzCash And Easypaisa transactions can be reversed, you might lose your account with tremendous debt. If you agree to these terms, it is you who will be revealed to the authorities and this might be the case of laundering like cheezcarls is saying.

I would blame people who will take this so called "opportunity" to earn the money by risking their accounts and identity.
If you see, you only have to give your KYC accounts and the money inflow will start automatically and you will be paid commission. You have to work for anything like bring clients etc and hence when people see easy money coming, they risk and opt to do such type of work.
