So far, my profile is the only one that I have seen that contains a geographic location. I'm not ashamed to be associated with Bitcoin, I don't owe any money, and I don't cheat or steal. I even tell the truth when submitting tax returns.  Surely I'm not the only one here. Why should they post their locations? If someone doesn't feel comfortable to post it ... it's his choice. |

Just to make you aware: Its not only the account that is banned, its you as a person that is banned. This includes all past or future accounts. If they are discovered they will be banned. You may talk about your ban here as a sole exception. WTF? I have only this and -Tx-Rider, I would not care about one account and would just use VPN and spam on other accounts, but I do not have any, thats why. hilariousandco.. I really will not do it again, just delete all my posts.. As shorena said... it's not about the account , it's about you. You have been banned from this forum 'as person', and I don't think you are welcome to post here anymore (if you will caught you will be banned again and again). |

A number of people have been banned for copy/paste posting in the past, and they often had complained publicly about it. There is no reason why anyone would rationally think it is okay to engage in this practice, and there is no reason why anyone who engages in this should be given a second chance

tl;dr: Never use secret question feature for an alternative login
1 - the account was not hacked, it was most likely sold back in March (I think) and was then fake hacked in September 2 - the fake hack did not even use the secret question, it involved using a link to reset the password of the account, of which was posted in the OP My account was never sold. A breach in the forum database is what caused it I believe. I communicated privately through Theymos (I was not wardrick_hacked) to get it resolved. Unless my computer was infected, which is highly unlikely because nothing other than my Bitcoin profile was affected, then there was no way for the hacker to get my email in which they socially engineered the provider for and it was blank (I never used it for anything besides registering to this site and never logged back into it). Someone was intending to either sell my account when it was purchased or it was sold in that minimal time period because the hacker/user had shown no intentions to scam and was only using it for community purposes (discussion, investigating, leaving feedback, etc.). The hacker was definitely not a novice. Anyway, I am glad to have my account back Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up. If your account was in fact breached because of when the forum was hacked then it was most likely TF who hacked your account. Why TF and not someone else ? |
