Why is there so much fuss over someone who has a flag as their avatar? Just let him do what he wants, why are you guys giving him negative trusts just for having a flag as his avatar? This is really fucked up.

Just so we are on the same page.

Isis cut off the heads of Innocent people to get media attention.  But, hey, thats free speech.

The free speech (I suppose) in this case is that anyone can put the flag (as avatar) that he wants... not to cut off the heads of people.

Ecco alcuni siti colpiti :  Elenco.

1210  Other / Meta / Re: My account SebastianJu banned for 14 days now? on: February 28, 2016, 09:28:03 PM
Looks like my account is completely free again. Smiley Thanks moderators and helping staff.

I only fear a bit that something like that might happen again, not for the same thing, but for some unknown rule one is not aware about.

Is there a forget 14 day ban after, let's say 6 months or so? Since otherwise the risk that another ban might be a permaban sounds pretty high. And the longer someone is a member on here the higher the chance would rise to get another one. Is there something like that?

And to those who tried to warn me kindly, please think about adding to your warning that it is an actual rule or even that it is a ban reason. Only something that would have saved me from this experience. Wink Thanks for the warning anyway, I'm sure anyone getting warned that way will be thankful. Smiley

Welcome back, now I think you can lock this thread Wink.
1211  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Selling my BTC] [PayPal Accepted] [Fair rates (Preev +2%)] on: February 28, 2016, 04:52:52 PM
Thanks for bumping my thread guys! Appreciated!

You are welcome, but I don't think nobody will send you money for first Wink.

Guys, remember :

Don't send for first and use always an escrow.
1212  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Selling my BTC] [PayPal Accepted] [Fair rates (Preev +2%)] on: February 28, 2016, 04:47:31 PM
Already said I am going first for members with amazing trust.

Thanks for the free bump though  Wink

What do you mean with amazing trust  Roll Eyes ?

I don't suggest to sell or buy (exchange) bitcoin for or with paypal, it's not very secure.

1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU Plans To End Anonymity For Bitcoin And Prepaid Card Users on: February 28, 2016, 03:33:19 PM
Its a bad news, i am using bitcoin because of the anonymous factor, if this really happen, i think i will try to look for other coin that can provides anonymity

bitcoin has never been so anonymous...it is/was rather pseudo-anonymous.

well it depend, there is a common mixconception here

bitcoin is actually fully anon if you only move your bitcoin from one place to another, unless you can telling me what was my lost coins that was moved from one address to another on the chain

instead if you associated a shipping address or you do it on a exchange with a bank account, i can agree that it's not anonymous anymore

This is why it should be considered pseudo-anonymous, it doesn't exist anything in this world that it can be considered 100% anonymous.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: for which purpose satoshi nakamoto developed bitcoin? on: February 28, 2016, 01:41:45 PM
Maybe he was bored about this actual economic-political-social system.. and wanted to create a new thing that would revolutionize it.

They want to control everything guys, because people through bitcoin will not pay taxes and other duties to the government. Will the mixers help people avoiding these taxes?

you can mix coins all you like. but if your going to convert it back to FIAT.. you need to expect to be taxed
I understand now, at the end point we need to expect to be taxed, maybe selling privately person to person would avoid taxes? I don't think we need to pay taxed for private deals.

Or you can use bitcoin directly to buy whatever you want Wink without convert BTC to fiat.
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / EU Plans To End Anonymity For Bitcoin And Prepaid Card Users on: February 28, 2016, 12:21:33 PM

Quote
There’s a plan of the European Commission, which will be proposed in June, which will try to end the anonymity of virtual currencies, such as Bitcoin, and prepaid cards. The reason the European Union wants this new policy is that they need to fight terrorism more efficiently. However, the Europol just released a report, which says that terrorists are not using virtual currencies, especially Bitcoins, for funding their operations. They are not even using the dark net, they mostly use social media websites to spread their messages. ....

1218  Other / Meta / Re: Bitmixer Spammers on: February 27, 2016, 11:20:52 AM
Thread but firstly report them to the staff, this is the best thing in my honest opinion.
And what exactly would you put in the comment? Links to all the copied posts?

Nah, just put the nickname of those users and expressly write "check their latest posts" Cheesy.
Yeah I tried it when I reported "spam posts check recent posts as well" , apparently doesn't work

Maybe you've been unlucky, I think it also depends of which mod will handle the report.

Report those posts to the staff , with the 'report to moderato' button Wink. I think they will 'take care' of those users very soon...
A situation like this is better expressed via a thread IMO. @OP you should try PMing Grue about this, he's the one issuing temp bans/perma bans for sig spammers at the moment.

Thread but firstly report them to the staff, this is the best thing in my honest opinion.
