1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Paper Wallet on: May 14, 2019, 09:02:09 AM
I just wondering why some people don't use paper wallet to secure their bitcoin, Some of them are just putting to the exchanger and trust their funds that no assurance of safety.I don't understand why they did not use the most secure way to keep their bitcoins.

Any Thoughts?

The paper wallet does not physically reflect that it is a digital currency. If you compare security issues, paper wallets are also vulnerable to security, because you only print a private key on paper.

Why don't people keep on paper wallets? ineffective, most crypto users are active in trading, so they prefer to save in exchange.

Am curious, and will need several opinions here, in most news out there I hear echos "Ethereum classic is a real Ethereum", how do you guys think?

Evidently ethereum, so far ethereum is still the best altcoin. But I can't say classic ethereum is bad, both are good altcoins.
For investment you are free to choose ethereum or ethereum classic, because this coin has good prospects going forward.

Has the bear season really ended and changed into the bull season? Then how do you make a strategy in trading. Buy large quantities of altcoins? Share your opinions to share experiences here. Thanks.

I still don't know whether bullrun has been confirmed. But I really hope that happens.

Then how do you make a strategy in trading. Buy large quantities of altcoins?

I am a daily trader, I always buy crypto every day and take small amounts of profits. No need to be greedy, 1-3% is enough than waiting for 10% + which is at risk.

Share your opinions to share experiences here.

For now it's better you start buying crypto slowly, while waiting for good news about btc. Remember! don't be greedy when trading.

1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 14, 2019, 04:54:44 AM
Not with me, crypto is indeed a lot but it doesn't need too many exchanges to list all crypto. Many exchanges appear every year, but are they all useful? New exchanges were created to add to the shortcomings of the old exchanges, but if the old exchanges were still able to grow better then we did not need new exchanges.
Most new exchanges that appear to be just junk, people will still see more popular exchanges such as binance, bittrex, etc.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Tether die soon or it will survive? on: May 14, 2019, 04:38:02 AM
Hi there I want know what people think about this question.I heard that Tether creator stoled a lot of Tether or cheated somebody dont know full story and that this will dump Tether price very soon  Huh Huh

How many different rumors have there been about Tether? I've already lost count. There is a feeling that this is done in order to manipulate the market and buy crypto currency when bad news about Tether comes out.

Yes, even though this rumor is still confusing, this time Tether is still in the 8th rank of the coinmarketcap. In my opinion, rumors about tether will not affect this stable coin.
1366  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 14, 2019, 04:04:17 AM
35 days ago I started a thread and I told you btc will go 9k$ bcz china banned miners, but some of you dont believed me, Today BTC is 8100$ in some exchange, Here is that thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5130327.msg50545198#msg50545198
Now I have a good news , BTC to 50k$ bcz china banned miner, my friend in China confirmed 90% of miner in china are shutdown. BTC can easy go to 50K$ and more.
Less miners = More Demand = increasing price, as simple as that.

the ban on mining btc by the Chinese government was carried out last year and this news was reappointed now. Last year many Chinese miners have stopped since the Chian government banned bitcoin mining. But today Bitcoin is capable of bullrun without a Chinese miner, miners do have an effect on the BTC price but it doesn't have a significant impact.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen To Ethereum Price in 2019? on: May 13, 2019, 10:05:34 AM

What will happen to Ethereum price in 2019.

What is clear ethereum will rise rapidly when bitcoin continues to rise. Not only ethereum, but other altcoins will also grow higher, I predict that at the end of this year the price will increase 100% more than now.
Although ethereum is the second best coin after bitcoin, I trust BCH more. All are equally good when bitcoin grows
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of nocoiners on: May 13, 2019, 09:41:38 AM
Those tweets and news about Bitcoin from those who we believed to be professionals or experts must be trend on carefully because many of them have once tweeted about new technologies and the revers was the case, like the picture shared by OP. Knowing not the technology make them to give their selfish judgment about the technology; lets beware of them.

Right, too selfish in assessing an adoption that maybe he doesn't know very well.
and if the man's statement is true, it is impossible for Bitcoin to grow so far. The man might be delirious haha
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help learning about bitcoin? on: May 13, 2019, 09:10:09 AM
Have you considered starting with the beginning?

Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System
by Satoshi Nakamoto

Then you can go on, and on and on...

Now I think this is the best book that bitcoin has, this book is the first book to read before reading other books.

But I suggest learning through this forum, because this forum has various discussions that you can look for along with the answers. There are various topics in this forum, adjust it yourself.
1370  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Old Android Phone as Wallet on: May 13, 2019, 08:56:21 AM
Quote
Not recommended to use old phones as your cold wallet because the android version is not updated and I'm sure old android version won't support new versions of any wallet you want in the future.

Sure enough, the more years the application development gets higher and requires a device that can support the application, surely one day if you open an application from your old cellphone it won't work and this can be a disaster for you.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fundraising scam ,the way I see new projects on: May 13, 2019, 08:38:33 AM
Project developers are in no risk at all ,the investors are the ones in total risk ,devs only have to tender a working project and ask people for funds ,who says ICO and IEO is not a favoured business? That's why we have many not working projects, fake ,scam and pump and dump projects in crypto space..I have make up my mind never to invest in fund raising projects anymore ,I can name 100s of coins with no ICO and No Premine that are doing very fine in this market condition ,they are just here for the fund raising

Did you investing on wrong projects ? There are many failed projects in ICO indeed.
But how about IEO ? Do you think IEO is only a scam fund rising ?
Investors will prefer to investing in IEO because it is held by a reliable platform such exchange.

It seems like he has invested a lot in scam projects and lost a lot of money which makes him frustrated and for the IEO I agree with you very much, IEO is much safer than ICO

The IEO also does not guarantee bro, a few weeks ago many investors complained about investing in the IEO, when the IEO ended and was listed on the stock exchange. most of the fate of the IEO project is not much different from ICO.

Just look at this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139787.0, even the IEO project from Bittrex has still not been able to make investors satisfied.

Most developers only do fundraising to make their own wealth, they don't really develop their projects seriously. The IEO and ICO are just their cover.
1372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Sites for ERC20 Tokens on: May 12, 2019, 05:51:42 AM
IDEX, Forkdelta in my opinion is a very good exchange place for ERC20. But you have to make sure the ERC20 token that you have is already registered on the exchange.
1373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Idea needed for my situation on: May 12, 2019, 05:15:28 AM
I have around 5k+ USD worth of bitcoins and ethereum in my personal wallet. I have some financial commitments in next 2 months, so I want to utilize this money make it as something higher that amount I am holding.

I am planning to take that fund to binance and convert half of the bitcoins as USDT and half portion as BNB?
Will it be work bigger in some weeks or months? Then deposit and withdraw are suspended on Binance, so which exchange will be I need to choose to do the same idea above!

Please give me the best suggestion which you feel good for my situation.

The coin you choose is good in my opinion and it can be profitable in the next few weeks when viewed from the current market situation.
I think the alternative to binance is Kucoin, this exchange is in my opinion the best after binance and recently has improved features that are no less cool than binance (unless you want to wait until the deposit in binance is reopened). Don't waste your time thinking about it now, because the green market will leave you if you don't immediately make a decision. There is still time soon, before the green market goes further.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: May 12, 2019, 04:51:01 AM
I started gambling in crypto in 2018, at that time I was just experimenting with a capital of $ 20 but unfortunately I was competent in gambling and all my money was lost.
At that time I started leaving gambling and returned to trading, because of my passion as a trader.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: Time For A New Market Leader ? on: May 12, 2019, 04:30:05 AM
https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028031711-Binance-Security-Breach-Update

Now that the once unthinkable has actually happened, Binance has been hacked to the tune of 7000 BTC (estimated $41 million in currency today), how will this affect the brand name that came from nowhere to become the market leader?

Will another name, maybe an existing reputable exchange top spot or maybe a start-up will? Maybe Binance will not be affected by the negative press.

What do you think the future holds for Binance?

Last week hacking at binance, in my opinion did not have a big effect on their exchange. He said the amount was only 2% of the amount they held. Binance himself confirmed that other funds were safe and stored in cold storage.
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1053562586749227008

So there is nothing to fear now and binance will continue to grow, this is only a small matter for binaries and will not have a big effect. Binance users also feel relaxed because binance professionals are handling this.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone who use mobile wallets? on: May 12, 2019, 04:16:16 AM
It's dangerous if you don't have a backup of your wallet, I am an Iphone user and I feel safe so far because the iPhone operating system itself is close source, it is quite difficult to enter malware.

I don't know if for users of Android and Windows Phone because cases that often occur are indications of malware on smartphones. I am an IT student and I understand how malware gets into smartphones, so backup your wallet and store it in cold storage, use it as needed if you save it on Android.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 12, 2019, 03:48:19 AM
Yes, right, now bounty hunters prioritize IEO projects over ICO, maybe because the IEO is more clear about the project and not scam. But I assume, when all goes to the IEO it will make massive dumping.

As in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139787.0, he did not trust the IEO because when he bought it it was not as expected. In my opinion, the IEO in the future will only lead to greater dumping and more investor losses.
1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index on: May 12, 2019, 03:27:03 AM
I prefer to be in the middle of 0 to 100 Grin
I don't want to be too fearful or to greed in the cryptocurrency because once I do one of that thing, I will not survive and I will not make any profit.
But I guess that many people are in the fear and greed too especially if the price is down deeper and that will make them become fear and if the price increase higher, then they will become greed to chasing the bigger profit.
That will not help them if they want to be a successful person in the cryptocurrency because they always chase something without thinking about enough is enough.
And related to the chart, with the situations today, I think people become greed because they want to make a bigger profit.

I think that's right what you say, the picture from the graph was made after facts and changes took place throughout April and May. Even now traders do not need to look at the graph line because they can see immediately that the green market is now causing greed. While fear is only for those who missed buying coins before, they are afraid that prices will be dumping when buying now, but what is clear is now full of greed in the market.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB time to buy ? on: May 12, 2019, 03:11:14 AM
True, some time ago Binance did experience a bad incident on their exchange and made dumping on BNB coins. BNB prices are now pretty good to buy and the market conditions are also supportive, I'm sure the BNB can reach $ 100 this year if bitcoin continues to rise.
1380  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Pengiriman uang dengan bitcoin. Lebih murah ataukah lebih mahal?[Update Q1-2019] on: May 11, 2019, 11:06:17 PM
~snip~ So gaes, menurut kalian mana yang murah?

Bukannya sudah terjawab. Om sendiri yang jawab.  Cheesy
Paling murah adalah dengan menggunakan BTC.

Rinciannya di bawah ini :

Fee pengiriman uang Rp. 70 juta

- Melalui Paypal : Rp. 2.139.000
- Melalui WesternUnion : Rp. 2.500.000
- Melalui LLG/RTGS bank transfer : di atas 2,5 jt
- Melalui Bitcoin transfer : Rp. 64.500
