1361  Other / Off-topic / Re: My story and where it is now..... on: February 04, 2023, 07:00:38 PM
So I explained my case to her. She asked my thoughts and I told her I didn't know what to think really. Her advice was to wait til a Friday after all the doctors have gone for the weekend and go into any ER. Just go in and complain of chestpain and don't tell them shit. They won't look into anything but will do a work up to see what they find. Then I'll be able to find out if this hospital and doctors are lying to me. She said it would be Tuesday before they spoke to any other doctors and by then I'd already have some answers and know whether to trust what's going on currently.

Your nurse suspects that something fishy is going on and she could be right. Am not trying to say miracles do not happen. They do, because God is never tired of doing miracles. But sometimes we still have to double check this things and be sure what we are faced with. We have bad eggs in every institution and we should not look at the medical staff as saints. There are also corrupt ones among them. Follow what your nurse suggested. I pray for quick recovery for you. May God grant you healing.
I keep the nurse's advice in the back of my mind, but not ready to act on anything yet. I did visually see the improvement in my heart scans. Going from 7.2 to 5.2 is pretty amazing. I also see the doctors' points as well as far as transplant cannot be justified at this current time. I want to see how my follow up goes next Tuesday and see what my Doc says.

Ever since i heard about your heart problem, i always wished and hoped you would come out strong from this problem and pray to God that you become healthy very soon.
Good to hear that you are healing without a transplant.  Everyone one of us in bitcointalk pray for you and wait for the good news by the doctor on this Tuesday.

The 7.2 to 5.2 is the size of my heart. An average heart is 5 mine is just slightly above that but no longer enlarged to 7.2. Not sure if it's centimeters or inches but I would guess inches.

I too think it should be inches but the google search shows it is being measured in centimeters.
Quote
An adult heart has mass of 250-350 grams. The heart is typically the size of a first 12 cm in length, 8 cm wide, and 6 cm in thickness.
1362  Other / Meta / Re: New bitcointalk rank? 🔥 on: February 04, 2023, 04:46:01 PM
~

Actually there is no need for new ranks tbh. The current system works fine. People that post quality content rank up and shitposters won't make it.

Apart from that, you should visit Bitcointalk to communicate, talk about Bitcoin and socialize with other Bitcoin enthusiasts - not to hunt for a new forum rank.

What would you call something after Legendary anyway? Super Legendary? Elite Legendary?

I think we're good.

Legendary seems enough in terms of rank and i do not think we need another higher rank than the Legendary. And yes, people can still stand out among Legendries if they have more positive trusts. But i don't think we need a new rank.

Another scam by 1xbit. Don't know how many more scams we will witness at 1xbit.

For you, if you do not know, 1xbit is a scam site and you will never get your money back from them. Yes, you may send emails to them and try to get the conversation running with them but unfortunately your case will never be resolved and 1xbit will never return your money.

Next time when you want to gamble on any site first make show that the site is legit, and it has good feedbacks otherwise you will lose your money as you have lost in this site.
1364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 04, 2023, 01:57:38 PM
I know some people get emotional and continue to play to chase their losses, it may or may not work. I am just in a position I can't allow myself to risk it even further.

It is just annoying I got such a bad luck in a few rolls, that is why I will take a rest from it. I have run out of luck completely, it seems.
That is also what I usually do and maybe also by many players when I experience a losing streak will take a rest but usually I will stop not because I feel that luck is not on my side but rather because the funds at the casino have run out and I will return to play when I feel like it and have it funds again because I always try to stick with a set budget.
gambling should be like that so don't follow your lust to play, when you lose you should stop playing for a while to calm your mind, there's no need to rush to spend all the money, because we can just win in the next game after resting

No matter you play at stake or any other gambling site, you need to have control over your emotions. You cannot win always and when you lose, you need to have your emotions under control.

It is not easy to win in gambling and it becomes even more difficult when you do not have any money management and you do not have control over yourself. As with every thing in life you need to be discipline in gambling too otherwise you will face losses.
1365  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: February 04, 2023, 07:27:15 AM
Most the trusted casino supports an instant deposit and withdrawal feature. This is already not a big issue since most of the casino has this common feature. I believe bonus and other promotion is what makes casino unique and attract customers aside from the common instant withdrawal feature. Only start-up casino or other mid-tier casino has a manual withdrawal system but the rest of the established casino supports instant.
Users won't want to wait too long to see deposits that are still in progress and withdrawals that are also taking too long.
But this is all possible because jackbit.com is a casino that has just been launched and of course, there is still a lot that needs to be improved to compete with existing casinos.
Jackbit.com have also started their signature campaign again and they may still want to see how well their site does.
And indeed, promotion is a factor that they need to pay attention to if they want to attract more members to play at their casino and they will certainly do well.
The issue most casinos face with promotion is what can they offer to potential customers that will not break the bank or attract all the scammers? A decent number of players only visit a site for freebies and once freebies are gone they never visit the site again. What good does that do for a site? So they need to find promotions that benefit both the site and the users.

Wager contests (usually only for highrollers)
Highest multiplier on certain games
Reviews
free spins
bug bounties

Signature campaigns do not guarantee a site anything except they will spend some money. Sig campaigns really only help with branding these days. Sites have to think about longterm before a sig campaign is really doing them any good. Of course users will disagree but this is a conversation a few managers have been having for awhile now. Everyone is always telling sites to launch a sig campaign but they don't really know if it helps or not.

How many of you have actually deposited to a casino because of their sig campaign? How much did you deposit? Do you still play at the casino that the sig campaign got you to deposit on?

I agree to this that casino will take time to develop their reputation and signature campaigns may not mean that they will gain a lot of gamblers visiting and playing at their site instantly.

However, with extensive signature promotions people will know about the site and may be curious to see what the site offers. Secondly, the promotions do not mean that everyone who see the signature will deposit at the site.  Even if only a few people signup and play at the gambling sites after getting hundreds of ads impressions, we may consider it a good one.
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries do you think this year will adopt Bitcoin as a Legal tender? on: February 03, 2023, 11:51:26 PM
Your guess might just be as good as mine, but one thing's for sure — it wouldn't be a major country like the US/UK/etc. A smaller country like Tonga(like you said) has a lot more incentive to take such risks compared to huge established countries.

I think the countries who have taken debt from the USA and are unable to pay the debt may adopt bitcoin much faster than the countries who are economically strong.

But then we see that a rich country like UAE / Dubai also support bitcoin which means that there is no hard and fast rule of which country can adopt bitcoin and which cannot.
1367  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If i move to Canada with BTC. Do i owe tax to canada goverment? on: February 01, 2023, 07:26:10 PM
If someone owns 10 BTC and move to canada for living there permanently. do he owns canada govt. any tax on that bitcoin? Can the canada government ask for source of those BTC and how they are earned?

First think if you were bringing fiat money in Canada, would they have tax you on that amount? I don't think it make sense to give tax on money which you are bringing to Canada. Also, this will discourage the immigrants to bring their money in Canada and of course no county wants that, so by common sense you should not be advised to pay tax on this amount.
Same should go for cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.
1368  Other / Meta / Re: I am login at forum but forget password on: February 01, 2023, 07:07:31 PM
I don't have access to email too. What are the options now ?

Did I get it right?  You woke up after three years of inactivity, but now cannot remember your password? How did you know it a few minutes ago? And, you cannot access your email account anymore?

This is really fascinating case. I would love it if you could elaborate more on it.

That is what i was thinking that he didn't forget his password for the last 3 years and never login. Now he login with his password and the very next minute he forgot his password.

Don't know if OP is speaking true or not but in any situation, it is not possible to recover the account if he lost his password, if he does not have any access to email and if he hasn't staked his bitcoin address.
1369  Economy / Gambling / Re: I accidentally deposited to self-excluded stake.com account. on: February 01, 2023, 06:55:17 PM
I accidentally deposited 3.067 ETH to my self-excluded stake.com account, and live support does not let me withdraw.

I really need to withdraw my funds, what can I do?

Just over three ethereum is a big amount and i really feel sorry for you. The saddest part is that you cannot claim or insist stake.com to recover your funds as it is clearly mentioned there that you won't get back any funds during the self-exclusion period.

By the way, were you not aware of the terms and conditions for the self-excluded account or you did the deposit by mistake ?

In both the cases, you won't be able to get your funds back unless stake.com are very kind to you.

We all know that the FED meetings are important as they decide the interest rate and bitcoin is extremely volatile at this time.

This is a Fed Rate monitor tool which you keep for reference.

It will show the probability of the Fed decision also.

1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Main Stream Media trying to defame Crypto / Bitcoin on: February 01, 2023, 02:47:02 PM
Look like mainstream media trying to put fear in people mind and they trying to give fearful statements about crypto even when it is not related to crypto and bitcoin.

See this example, The Winklevoss twins are in a big mess—and it has to do with crypto

This has nothing to do with crypto and they are trying to project that this bad may affect the bitcoin prices.

This things indicates that prices are being suppressed because of these news and they will blast very soon. Get in the train before its too late.
1372  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: January 31, 2023, 06:31:57 AM
is it possible to make withdrawals to an e-wallet? I want to deposit via crypto and withdraw via e wallet because I see withdrawals are only available for bank transfers, or is there another way?
What exactly do you mean by e-wallets? Do you mean you want to withdraw to the exchange wallets directly?
E-wallet is like OVO, GOPAY, DANA (Indonesia), Venmo (US), WeChat Pay (China), and the like.
People now use these apps more and more, and youngsters even don't have a bank account, lol.

Anyway, I believe this feature will be implemented because of the demand, fingers crossed.

This means that these e-pays wallets vary from country to country, and we may not be able to use them worldwide. Even if some of them are used worldwide, the BK8 has to setup support for many e-wallets of different countries in order to activate this service. This might be a big hassle for them.

Also, if they decide to implement withdrawals to few e-wallets, other people will complain that their e-wallet is not support by BK8. Let's see how BK8 decides about this.

By the way BK8 offers withdraws in crypto so you can send withdraw to any crypto / bitcoin of your personal wallet or any exchange bitcoin address. I hope that would serve the purpose.
1374  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I found a paper wallet on a beach ... seriously on: January 31, 2023, 04:04:53 AM
So in the argument discussed in this topic, OP picking up a paper wallet worth 0.6btc, is this a theft scenario? because if we look at OP's story, he wants to return it to the real owner but he doesn't know how.

And I think it will be difficult to return it to the real owner because many opportunists will pretend that the paper wallet is theirs. Then for crypto enthusiasts, we know that Bitcoin is not fake money, because it can be converted into real money, not just touched physically.
Nah, I'm talking theoretically since I'm talking about the morality of something rather than this specific occasion. It was pretty much summed up that there was no theft, and some users speculated that this could've been a scam attempt, which it might have well been. However, I wanted to reference that this is actually a really difficult situation to be in, and personally I don't know what I would've done. Like I said above, I probably wouldn't have even checked if the wallet had any Bitcoin in it, which could've been a waste of my time trying to find a owner of a wallet that has nothing in it.

It would be difficult to find the real owner, which encourages people to take the Bitcoin for themselves, which again isn't ideal.

First of all, if you did not try to check how much bitcoin it contained in that paper wallet, then what would you have done ?
You have just left the paper wallet on the beach so that any other person can find it and enjoy this free money or would you have destroyed the paper wallet making the bitcoin supply less by 0.6BTC Smiley

It would be difficult to find the real owner, which encourages people to take the Bitcoin for themselves, which again isn't ideal.

I think in such a scenario it is impossible to find the real owner of the bitcoin and it is also not our money, so whoever gets that money he can use it for charity purposes.
1375  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of Scam Crypto Exchanges.. on: January 31, 2023, 03:44:25 AM
Just for Information.. 150+ scam crypto exchanges..

I appreciate the effort, but there's no way a list like that could ever be totally complete. New fake sites pop up all the time - it's super easy to get a new domain and set up a fake exchange using a cheap script. So keep that in mind.

Yeah, i am sure there may be many more of such scam exchanges which are too easy to setup.

In a real world, no one can open up an exchange, no one can become a currency exchanger unless they fulfill the state requirements top open up an exchange firm.

But when it comes to an online crypto currency exchange, we just need a domain, hosting and a script and we are ready to scam. Don't know how it can be controlled. Huh
1376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX comedy and might be another exchange that bites the dust? on: January 31, 2023, 03:19:55 AM
News update. The FTX comedy show continues.

I cannot understand what the lawyers are doing. Alameda Research wants to sue and receive $445 million from Voyager for funding Alameda when Caroline Ellison needed more liquidity for her gambling addiction? This is head scratching. There should be a hidden agenda there somewhere unless I misunderstood everything.

Sometimes i feel that all these firms including FTX, Alameda Research, Voyager etc are playing with people's emotions and showing that how strong they are and how weak we are.
They can bring any bullS**t news which have no common sense. They think they have all the rights to fool the retailers and those who showed trust in these firms.

We opted for bitcoin over fiat, we believed in decentralization, but all these centralized platforms are playing dirty games with us.  Sad
1377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I become a Campaign Manager? on: January 30, 2023, 11:57:03 PM

High-ranking members care about their reputation a lot because they worked hard to build this account on the forum, while Newbie members don't care if their reputation is tarnished.

Yes, I agree some projects will allow bounty managers to hold the tokens or escrow them, I read in the past where a bounty manager run away with the token that he was holding for the bounty campaign because the manager was lower rank, I don't want to downgrade lower ranked members but they have to work their way to reach a level of trust and prove their honesty in being a campaign manager, the only way a newbie become a campaign manager, is if he is part of the team.

Sometimes if a small company wants to run a campaign, they would make a new account on this forum and then run the campaign instead of hiring an manager who may be expensive for them. This is acceptable in some cases provided the campaign is honest and do not want to scam the bounties hunter / Signature participants and at the same time want to save some campaign management cost.

However, the drawback is that these newbies can easily scam the participants as they have nothing to lose expect the newbie account being marked as scammer and also their project being getting a bad name, which they rarely care as they make projects to earn quick money and then move on the the next one.
1378  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: January 30, 2023, 06:45:30 PM
Jackbit denied my withdraw and told me an investigation is underway for my account. I have deposited 500$, placed 12 bets in total and was going to withdraw 937.15$ total (so 437.15$ profit). I asked them the reason for the investigation and they refuse to tell me because it's their company's terms to not share info about an ongoing investigation with a customer and just told me that they will update me via email and that it can take up to 6 months.

Any ideas of what I should do? I have just filled a complaint with their gaming commission, should I also open a thread on scam accusations?

This is ridiculous if you got the message from Jackbit that you need to wait for 6 months for your case to be solved. How can they say such a thing if they want to grow their site and business?

However, in order to believe that whatever you are saying is right, would you mind sharing some relevant proofs and screenshots showing that whatever you are trying to claim is true and not fake?
1379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 30, 2023, 01:53:45 PM
This amount of lose is huge and this will really affect the gambler mind unless he has hit a jack pot severely in the past and if that be so 1.4 million dollars lost bet may not mean much to the gambler is question.

But any way it is good we mentioend it here to teach us some lessons never to bet heavily because of odds, gambling is risky you can lose everything.
It will surely affect him, he knew he was putting his money into gamble and in gamble anything can happen, no matter how certain the outcome may look nothing is sure, so he has to deal with the loss , he needs a strong mentality now, because that strong mentality is put to rest in situations like this when you loose a bet with such huge amount of money.

Maybe he has enough money to make him forget about the 1.4million dolls but surely he will still feel it, he shouldn't give up on betting,

Even with the odd of 1.01, there is 1% chance that the match can still turn in favor of different team, and you may lose money in you are betting.
Usually, i would never bet with odds like 1.01 because it's not even worth taking the risk because even if we win this bet, the profit will be way too less. I usually bet on minimum odd of 0.20 and put only small portion of my money in a single bet, so if the bet goes against me i do not lose my all portfolio.
1380  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! | #1 Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ | 24/7 Rain on: January 29, 2023, 03:24:38 PM
Its been a while since you came to the crypto gambling industry, but there is still less competition in your site.
You do not even have wagering contest which is the most used competition by casinos to attract people to play and stay.
Your challenge and promotion page is still empty, I do not know what is your main plan for your first months after the launch but I think you should offer something similar or even better than most other casinos.
The competition among casinos is just so tough and will be tougher from time to time due to the fact that new casinos are popping up.

Even with all these steps i think Punt is gaining customers slowly and steadliy. As long as there is no negative feedback about the new gambling site, the gambling site will grow organically.

Another day, another BONUS on Punt.com

We just dropped another bonus code via our official Punt.com telegram. There are a limited number of claims so make sure you grab it now before it's GONE! https://t.me/Puntcom
is this bonus code for new users or is it only available for gamblers who are already playing in your casino, if it is open to everyone surely this is a promotion that people should be interested in, BTW I just joined on telegram want to see a lot about promotions and bonuses

There is a requirement in order to claim every bonus code in their telegram channel. Mostly wagering requirement in the last 7 days. If you are new users but you have wagered the minimum amount to claim the code, sure you are eligible for it but you need to be fast as well because most bonus codes have a limit. However if you mean bonus code for new users without any requirement, the bonus code is not for fresh new account.
oh yeah I just saw that the bonus is limited, so you really have to be quick to claim it because of course many people also want to claim it, glad to hear your answer, I'm a new user and a few hours ago I registered an account there, tried to play and will see it again later  Wink

What do you mean that you need to be quick in order to claim that bonus shared on telegram? Is that bonus for limited users only or is it for the one gambler who claims it first?
Personally, i think it is better if Punt can share the bonus via emails because not everyone is active on telegram to grab the opportunity.
