1361  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers calling out other scammers to make themself look good on: February 21, 2023, 02:14:16 PM
There is guys like yahoo62278 that scam people on bitcointalk with his fake donations.
I made investigation and i figured that out that he lied to all of you.
You made an investigation, but I am yet to see your claim here with clear evidence that he scammed people. Accusations without any evidence are good as nothing or might just be seen as malicious attacks

The guy is now banned https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3534205 he created this thread specifically against yahoo62278 without proving anything, the guy really hates yahoo62278, he has a twisted mind, there are people like this coming here just to target some of our trusted members, he has a lot of alt accounts here we don't know if he registered again and will take time and spread lies about some of us here.
I don't think he will stop he may use other platforms where we don't have control to spread lies but here we can easily trace him.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 01:20:32 PM
In this forum and other forums where gambling is one of the topics of discussion, one of the recurrent topics is people who write about how their gambling addiction has ruined their lives. We usually encounter topics like "Gambling ruined my life,"  "I lost all my life savings to gambling,"  "I gambled away my entire salary," etc. Then they go on to tell a sad tale. It makes me wonder: why do gamblers tend to wait until they have suffered a catastrophic loss or a string of losses before quitting or seeking help?

People are having fun until they think that they can really make money on gambling, so they spend more than what they can afford to lose, changing your mindset from having fun or entertainment into trying to make money from gambling is like creating your trap.
People should mind or be conscious of what they are doing in a casino, and they should always ask themselves if they have fun and or feel bad losing after they log out, responsible gambling is always accessing yourself if you still have control over your bankroll.

It is unfair to tag a project because it sounds like crazy. If you find vulnerabilities of the smart contract, we are very happy to deal with them. If it is unclear about the design and methods used in the project, we are also very happy to explain.

No, you're tagged and reported not because your project sounds crazy but because there are a lot of things missing in your project, like the people running your project, and transparency on the supply audited smart contract to name a few, we have already seen so many crazy projects in the community and yours is not different but the scheme is quite unique but in the end investors and supporters will eventually lose money.

Ok, it is fair. Anyway, our purpose is not to bait investors but to change financial world. We will keep delivering products like this. Time will tell.

Changing the financial world with a platform like this, you still have not addressed the value of this platform

Therefore, the token is named “Patience”. We are playing with time.
so playing with time will change the financial world, I think you better invent a time machine so your token will have good usage.
Honestly, your project sounds strange but I've been through a lot on the altcoin, I even stumble one project here when I was a newbie where you get paid to fart or a token created for bottled oxygen
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 20, 2023, 11:39:47 PM
I am rooting also for Donaire on this match, despite his age, because he is quite active so not hard for him to prepare for this fight.
Bookies may favor Donaire on this one, his current ranking  whether on The Ring, WBC or WBA is also higher than Santiago.

For sure we all gonna root for Donaire to win again and become the oldest bantamweight champion and his chances are good, just matter of execution and with his experience, he might do it again.

He once hold that record when he beat NORDINE OUBAALI.
NONITO DONAIRE BECOMES OLDEST BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION IN BOXING HISTORY BY CRUSHING NORDINE OUBAALI WITH FOURTH-ROUND KO

If he wants to make history again, he should try to become a champion again and retire as a champion. On paper, it sounds good, but if Donaire is still aiming to make more money after winning this fight, I have no doubt that he'll continue fighting. His status has already gained the attention of the fans as the oldest champion who is still winning and continues fighting challengers.

One of the dilemmas of boxers is retiring at the right time, I doubt that he will retire after this fight, I want him to retire because if he wins, it is the best exit for his great career he has nothing to prove anymore but boxers only retire after they suffered humiliating defeats from relatively unknown boxer, Donaire refuses to retire when he loses to Inoue because Inoue is at the height of his career.
Win or lose he should retire but I doubt he will if he wins but if he lose he'll think of retiring.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give it a break. on: February 20, 2023, 10:37:09 PM
Give yourself a break.

At this point what do you think about this gambling strategy I use? Although yours may not be with 5-7 streaks in a week you can also set a number of streaks convenient with you to use. Or is there anyone out there already using this strategy and how beneficial has it being to you?

I have not used any strategy when I'm on a losing streak, there are days like this, where you have a long losing streak and there are days when you have a long winning streak and you will wonder how is this possible, its just circumstances that happen without your control when you are playing in a luck based platform.
But I can take a break any way I want gambling is not my priority, but it's not my last priority also I'm good at playing and taking losses and winning gambling so such a method is not something that I implement.

1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 20, 2023, 07:03:17 AM

The casino is relatively new, so that is obviously one of the reasons why they are not getting enough stakers nor many participants for the giveaway. Their official tweet only got around 480 views and 19 retweets which is not a lot considering they published the tweet a couple of days ago. I think they need to work more on their marketing campaigns along with giveaways and everything if they are really serious about running this casino.

Also, I've noticed they haven't been really active from the last couple of days, after the announcement. No retweets, no nothing, and that is probably the reason why they haven't answered any questions yet.

The first two weeks after announcing their casino is very important, they have to be active here give us updates, post promotions and answer all the questions coming from members of this forum, they have to address feedback so they can gain the trust of the community and people will see if that they are listening to suggestions.

They have the right thing adding Bitcoin no one will question their presence here in this section, launching a signature campaign is recommended after they fixed everything, right now their presence here even for a few hours is important.
1367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Will it be considered as Ponzi (Strange Bank) on: February 19, 2023, 11:36:51 PM
Investors are wiser now, a project with a scheme like this has proven to not last long or scam people because they don't have anything to offer to the community but just being deflationary, we are passed over this scheme, so many scammers used this scheme to scam people, the big difference is it has a twist that is very much different from all the other deflationary with high return schemes, but it will eventually scam people.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 19, 2023, 11:10:50 AM

Eventhough Donaire lost on his last fight still it doesn't mean his career already ends, he's still capable winning on other what we think stronger opponent and I'm sure he knows that since he is in control on his conditioning so provably he's confident about betting Santiago on their match up. To many fans still rotting for his success despite of what failure he encounter since many want him to retire in good shape. Although he's speed decrease as we see on last Inoue match but still he have solid counter punch which can be his advantage to his opponent.

No, I don't think Donaire losses his power and speed if we are based on it, in his last fight against Inoue, he just got caught by Inoue's power punches, be he still has those speed and skill.
Honestly, I recommend that Donaire retire lose or win, if he wins he'll have a graceful exit and that's the best time, he already set records and he wins another title at his age, his time is very limited he may not be unlucky after this wins old age always caught boxers and Donaire is not an exception.
1369  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Looking for Investors for my Upcoming PvP crypto Casino on: February 17, 2023, 03:20:44 PM
Thx for the tips, but how should I proof it otherwise the. Showin a screenshot of my ogu account? As said of an investor is interested i can confirm trough pms on ogu.gg on my profile (https://ogu.gg/easer)

Since you claim to be the owner of the casino you mentioned to help you proved that your offer is legit why not create a page on your casino and post your offer there with a link here in this Bitcointalk thread
The site you mentioned is not yet finished so putting a page for verification will have no bad effect.

But if I were in your position, I will invite close friends or people coming from my location so we can contact and talk personally about our plans for the casino.
And by the way, Investors of online platforms should be aware that whoever owns the domain and the host has full control and authority over the platform.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 17, 2023, 02:14:03 PM
Where? Are you sure that's not just some userbase rank of that particular website?

Then it turns out I have confused userbase rank with official ranking... Where can I find official boxing ranking then? Because their #300+ ranking position seems legit Cheesy

I'm sure there's some site that collects them all or groups them into overall categories but there's lots of different governing bodies so it's best to check their individual pages. WBC is the board that have offered the ranking for this fight: https://box.live/world-rankings/wbc/

When they say he will be ranked I'm not sure exactly what that means or what the criteria is for getting on the ranked list. Maybe he will go into the top 100 or 50 or something. Hopefully they don't mean the top 15 which is usually the best of the best and those are the ones that can challenge for titles. Jake is a Cruiserweight I think and the lowest amount of fights I can see in the top 15 fights total. Someone just dropped out of the top 15 with only 11 fights so Jake has a long way to go but he could probably get there eventually.

We'll see that after the fight, but getting into the top 20 is already a big achievement for Jake Paul, compared to the top 10 in the Cruiserweight he is more popular and getting paid more than all the other ranking Cruiserweight contenders, after he got his rank, things will be tougher for Jake Paul he cannot go back fighting old MMA fighters
he needs to level up and fight boxers that are close to his rank.
He will shock the World if he landed in the top 5 and the Cruiserweight Champions might take him seriously, that's part of his dream, its a cinderella story for Jake Paul, imagine he brought something new to the boxing industry.
I wonder will his train take him to the Championship.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 17, 2023, 12:12:41 PM
it is a decision for Magsayo , like what most votes here now and I am sure that with his confidence and advantage he will get this title .
though Figueroa on the other hand is great boxer but this is not for him now , the Filipino Moxer has all the potential to partially take this win.

Just being a biased here that's why I'm in favor to Magsayo. But I consider Figueroa as a threat and not that easy to beat.

Both are eagerly want to become a champion and expects them to show all their best to be the interim champion.

Since Vargas lose recently against Foster, the winner of this match will have another challenge to think as they will have to go against Vargas to fully claimed the belt and being a champion.

Same here, I'm also biased, and honestly, I think Magsayo is not yet a complete fighter based on what I've seen on his last defeat. Well, I'm just hopeful that in this small ample of time that he is preparing, hopefully I'll see a major improvement. He is a KO artist, we know that, but he is not so dominant like other boxers who still remain undefeated now.

Much to my surprised Magsayo will not have Roach as his lead trainer he opted to be with Marvin Zamodio, lets's see in this coming fight if Magsayo made the right decision, Magsayo badly needed to win this fight, but changing your main trainer like Roach will make a huge impact in his performance could be bad or good for this coming fight, it will be interesting what Magsayo will show with Zamudio in his corner.

Magsayo, Promoter Explain Change In Head Trainers From Freddie Roach To Marvin Somodio

Quote
“But they relate more. They’re Filipino. They speak the same dialect. And he just felt like he needed a change. He needed a new gym. He just needed to try something new. And, you know, like I said, nothing against Freddie, nothing against Wild Card, but sometimes you wanna try something new, let Marvin lead, be the lead trainer. And we’re gonna see the results. I think we’ll see very good results on March 4th.”
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiteClub.io | Solana blockchain, PvP platform, Flip, Dice, RPS and more+ on: February 17, 2023, 07:55:40 AM
Welcome to the forum.

Just had a quick look and I have to agree that site design is beautiful. I was impressed by the design. It took me a little time to get back from the website.

Do you allow Bitcoin? If I'm correct, NO. You have to remove the topic to Altcoin Marketplace section.

Consider purchasing copper membership and post a nice announcement topic.
Purchase here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

There is no way to deposit Bitcoin you have to connect your wallet to the site before you can log in, so it doesn't deserve to be in this section, but it is recommended that he get a copper account.
I like to ask OP if there is a possibility to add Bitcoin as one of the payments so you can remain in this section, I'm sure you'll get more buzz and more players if your platform remains in this section.

1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: February 17, 2023, 05:51:49 AM

I expect this to be war, Stanionis with 60% KO ratio, against Ortiz Jr, 100%. Both are undefeated as well.

https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/791796 - Stanionis
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/766727 - Ortiz Jr

Who you got on this fight?

I expect not only war but an explosion of punches Stanionis has a good record but Ortiz Jr is just too awesome he is the only boxer I've known to have a 100% knock-out ratio he is an almost perfect boxer, with great defense with good timing in his punches he is poised to become the next champion.
The welterweight division houses some of the best punchers and Ortiz is one of the fighters that stands out, he should be challenging for the World title I hope it will happen after he disposes of Stanionis, Stanionis is also good but Ortiz Jr is just too good for him.

To see how good Ortiz's defense and offense check the highlight of some of his fights

Bustabit being the original crash game has huge following, great initiatives for OP.
1375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do not invest in crypto from loans. on: February 16, 2023, 03:01:35 PM
I hear that many people invest in crypto from loans and get a lot of profit.

but I also hear that many people invest in crypto from loans, and get losses.

so in this case it depends on our ability and knowledge in investing, but for beginners, in my opinion, don't invest from loans.

I'm not a beginner in investing have started investing four years ago but I would not even think of investing from a loan, I have seen so many unexpected events in the industry, and the volatility of the market is highly unpredictable, you could have 100 times profit then you woke up penniless, there are so many cases like this the recent one was the FTX and Luna investors.
So never ever think of investing money coming from loans you will regret it.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 16, 2023, 12:23:43 PM
<...>

Hey, OP, as long as you've been on the forum, you should know better than to include a link to the news item. I guess the news is in Portuguese? I've searched and I don't see anything about it but I did find this which is relevant to the general match fixing problem:

Suspicious sports results? Mafia might have fixed them

Quote
Organised crime groups make an estimated €120 million of profit a year from betting-related match-fixing in sports events. Not only football matches are fixed, but tennis results are also manipulated more and more. And sports mafia are no longer only corrupting players, but clubs too.

I'm also surprised that there is no link so we can extract more on the story and check the fact, I also want to see the link so we can discuss the particulars of the topic I guess we can only discuss the general topic which is game fixing, game fixing is what put any game in a bad light, we all want excitement and we all rooting for our favorite team or fighters that they are going to give it all, we lose respects on teams and fighters that engage on game fixing.
Game fixing should not happen in any sports and organizations should protect their rank files and players against any game fixing.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choosing between your relationship and gambling. on: February 16, 2023, 07:05:36 AM

I'll really appreciate to have you share some advise on what decision to take if you were to find yourself in this my cousin shoe. For It's been a difficult moment for him this past two days as he has  been thinking of the financial support he at times get from the gambling wins and at same time his fiancee too.

Since he is your cousin's fiancee and your cousin soon to be a wife so there is a possibility that he will share your cousin's financial obligation and more so when they have children your cousin's fiancee has a cause of concern, actually his fiancee has all the right to know about his gambling activity because gambling addiction is also a ground for divorce or separation.
Your cousin should have explained all this before they become engaged, even if he is gambling responsibly because his fiancee already suffered this concern about his brother's gambling.
They really need to talk to settle this, this is what happens if you are not honest with your partner, never hide something that deals with finances from your future wife.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling problem on: February 15, 2023, 10:31:23 PM
Hi!
A few days ago, we were contacted by a platform helping people with gambling problems.
It's an online international platform with courses, self-assessment tests, videos, and a big community of ex gamblers.
I know there are people here that gamble too much, it's easily done. If you have problems, contact them. All their services are free to use.
I thought it was a good resource to share here. You find the platform here: https://quitgamble.com.

May the force be with you!
/A

This site is also recommended to those who gamble moderately not just too much, gamblers when they have the time and money but do not know the word too much in their vocabulary, they just gamble they still think they have control over what they do even though they are chasing their losses and gamble is what occupies their mind, this is a helpful book and recommended to spend time reading.
1379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid Scam Projects on: February 15, 2023, 01:24:49 PM

4)   Avoid Low grade, Less Secure, & have no proof of record on CMC, Coingecko, etc projects.

Coingecko and Coinmarketcap listing do not guarantee that the coins or tokens are worth investing, it used to be but there are reports that for a fee you can get listed on these two market aggregators there seems to be under-the-table negotiation, its just hearsay but there are people who claim that they can list their token for as fast as ten days for a fee when it's free based on their terms.
Developers are paying people to list their tokens, create a press release and pay people to promote their project, so it's not really creating hype that will add value to the project.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing losses - Double down bet or Bet twice? on: February 15, 2023, 12:43:39 PM

What do you typically do when you are on chasing loss situation?

The last time I chase my losses I bet twice and manually pick my rolls but sometimes things will not go your way when you're chasing your losses, I sometimes think that when you are chasing your losses it is part of having a stroke of bad luck, you really have to stop when circumstances tell you to stop Double down bet or Bet twice, its useless when you're chasing losses its not your day to win.
