970 gets me about 1030
gtx750 gets me 910 )))

Where is djm34 with his optimized lyra ccminer? )))))))))))))))

2 DStefanov

Use optimized miner from pallas. It is free and open. Look in  parallel thread. Don't forget thanks to the author ...

vertcoin got pumped. time for pallas to ask for donation from amd-lovers ))) I'm on nvidia, so - sorry )))

Compiled. Testing.
edited. Not fixed...
confirm, not fixed

sp_, maybe you miss my previous post. ccminer continues to hash even if i lose internet connection to pool resulting in unused power consumption and heat. Can it be avoided?
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: June 03, 2015, 08:26:34 PM
Merged a change from the tpruvot branch. When the stratum connection was lost, ccminer kept mining even if the internet connection was down. Now ccminer it wil sleep and save electricity.
Tried to close my internet connection but ccminer with latest commits continues to load gpu 100% (((
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: June 02, 2015, 09:01:00 PM
Having some problems here with this miner. Original CCMiner works fine in my computer with 1700kh/s average mining dmd-gr and the pool im in and Im using the same config for this modded version but in the pool Im in the miner starts to output data in its screen but my gt730 doesnt go over 7% usage which is what the OS uses.
gt730 is a kepler compute 3.0 card. It's not supported by ccminer sp_ mod ...

nice! thank U!

lates git on qubit slower 30%
for my gtx 750 #51 has the same performance with previous builds on qubit ...

It's ok )))
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 28, 2015, 03:54:58 PM
I said in context that Titan X should be able to change frequencies with nvml api. Someone should test this guess )))
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 28, 2015, 10:03:47 AM
I think all this stuff can be usefull in complex: when you can monitor gpu temp and adjust engine-memory frequencies and fan speed. By now you just trying to invoke external executable to set clocks, it can be done easily in .bat file prior the ccminer launch. In current state I think this part of your work is useless (((
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 28, 2015, 08:38:30 AM

what would you suggest for the higher level card? ... even if all we do is test with it ...
Titan X )))
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 28, 2015, 07:54:35 AM
I have now added --gpu-memclock and --gpu-engine

I just use the nvidia-smi and it seems to fail to adjust the clocks on the 750ti's, but report no problems on the gtx 970 (if you set the correct speeds)
However, when I monitor the GPU in GPU-z the clocks are not changed.. (might be a permission issue or something)

If anyone can make it work there is a commandline tool available here that you can test:

"Supported products:
- Full Support
    - All Tesla products, starting with the Fermi architecture
    - All Quadro products, starting with the Fermi architecture
    - All GRID products, starting with the Kepler architecture
    - GeForce Titan products, starting with the Kepler architecture
- Limited Support
    - All Geforce products, starting with the Fermi architecture
"

This tool doesn't want to give full control for simple geforce cards. I think such programs as gpu-z or nvidia inspector or msi afterburner have special driver communication hacks that are not available as open source (((

Some more:
"reading various sensors of graphics cards isn't as easy as people might imagine it to be. In GPU-Z's case, it needs to read and write to the I2C bus via MMIO(Memory Mapped Input-Output) on the graphics card, this can only be achieved through what is called a kernel-mode driver on Microsoft Windows operating systems. And that is exactly how GPU-Z does it, but have you ever wondered if the way GPU-Z is doing it is safe?

The driver that GPU-Z uses is a digitally signed kernel-mode driver, so it can run with DSEO enabled without asking the user for permission, it can access physical memory at a whim. You use DeviceIoctl, you specify an address in physical memory and size and the driver returns a pointer to that address, now you can fiddle with kernel space memory however you like."

new numbers from lyra (work still in progress):

gtx980: 1900kh/s
gtx780ti: 2400kh/s
gtx750ti: 990kh/s

nice, my gtx750 with latest sp_ mod can do only 905khs. (1510/1600) Performance is memory constrained ...
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 27, 2015, 09:04:36 AM

maybe the 290(x) is different, one of them run for about a year at 94C and is still fine, overclocking and all :-)
it is waiting for warranty to end )))
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: May 27, 2015, 05:27:16 AM
2 Nubminer
OMG, 79C. My card when overclocked need to be kept below 56C to be stable ...

rented AND several machines on a single worker ...

thats the easiest way to do it ...

#crysx

Is there a place with such cheap rented quark power that it will be profitable to sell it to nicehash? )))

This one is 12.. check those hash rates.. 500-600MH per machine..
Several machines on 1 worker? Or asic?
