Because the tromp solver is slow. It is not written for the gpu. Bether to port the silent army kernel to cuda.
Or wait for djm34 or Epsylon to do it ))
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 05, 2016, 12:34:38 PM
There is open source cuda code - nheqminer - based on Tromp cuda solver. I wonder why sp_ still not added some __launch_bounds to functions and don't sell it as _sp private zcash 1.0 blablabla ))

In case you missed it, Claymores Zcash is out. Looking at 50sols on a 470. Haven't found a 480.

Are people so excited about the Claymore Zcash miner because it supports Windows? My SILENTARMY Zcash miner is as fast as (if not a hair faster) than Claymore. And open source. And zero dev fee.

Maybe I should prioritize Windows support higher?
1. Yes, windows, for me it is no problem to install linux but I don't want to ...
2. Claymore has a lot of features, important one is failover pools
3. And Claymore is faster, especially on Tahiti. I didn't run your miner on Linux but guess it makes cpu load. Claymore's doesn't.

p.s. claymore's miner is ~45-55 on well tuned hawaii or polaris and 40-50 on tahiti

Claymore
Miner is rock stable! Very cool! THX!

Is any chanse to use Radeon 6930 (Cayman) ? Please
Did you try run Claymore on this? ))
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 05, 2016, 07:14:30 AM
returned my palit 1070 to eth, 33mhs ))

RX MODDED MEMORY STRAPS ====>>>
both my rx are mem strap modded but in the way that they have no mem errors in hwinfo. No problems neither in genoil nor claymore

please add support bitcoin zcash pool at nicehash equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357 . or tell me how to setup bat file for this pool. When i try set up this pool in bat file miner say there is no pools.
you are the army of one-post writers - please! read the opening post or read all thread before writing this shit! All questions are already answered!

Thank you today I can sleep peacefully

lol exactly this.
I slept 6 hour last night but this genoil 0.6 even with lot of scripts managed to stop both rigs ... it was very expensive sleep ))
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Etarminer - New cuda miner for ethereum on: November 04, 2016, 06:43:38 PM
Etarminer 1.7fix
low cost gtx 1060 3gb (Inno3d, Palit) 21Mh/s - good choise for mining.
even lower cost sapphire rx470 4gb (ref-like) - 28mhs eth, 45 sols zcash - good CHOICE for mining ))
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 06:40:26 PM
Yesterday I tested the silent army solver on the 1060 3gb. it does 16sol/s.

Tomorrow I'll start looking into porting SILENTARMY to Nvidia. Seems like you fixed https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/issues/6 so please let me know how. That will save me some time tomorrow Wink
You should port from OpenCL to CUDA, nvidia will never work that good with OpenCL as it can with CUDA

Shifting invest to AMD cards for the moment. Got 4xRX480 PowerColor Red Dragon for cheap..so i exchange my setup and sell the nv cards
I have one 8 gb red dragon rx480 - nice chip and vrm cooling, good stability with downvolt but no cooling on samsung memory chips! So I have max 2100 mem clock stable only and with some fear about lifetime without cooling on this high.

And no dual bios!

Does this work on Nicehash? or only zec pools?

-zpool equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357
-u btcaddress.worker
-zpsw z
-tt 75

not working with btc address, must be Z address
not true

put in a btcaddress.worker and it will throw an error
read the fucking manual ))
-allpools 1

Claymore, please, provide a support to stratum subscribe for nicehash selling hashpower service.
(stratum equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357 and so one)
It is working now but don't behave good on reconnects ((
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 01:47:37 PM
It is you who is stealing others open source free code and make it private with inadequate fees and prices.

I have more than 1000 commits to the opensource ccminer project. Most of the kernels that you use to mine altcoins, have been sp-modded.

here is my opensource work on ccminer:

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/commits/windows

When you did commits to open source I made several payments to your btc address even I had only poor palit 750. Now I have much more powerful setup but I won't sell you a penny due to your changed model of work.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 01:19:17 PM
I still work to make fast private kernel for my private farm. Because of people like you, who steal my work and resell them, I haven't released updates in a while..

The latest released profitable private kernels are LBRY sp-mod #3 and spreadcoin 9+ for the gtx 1070. (8.5MHASH) (0.1 BTC)
I didn't resell any copy of your private. But I did buy one for miserable price.
First of all read open source licence of ccminer that you did violate before blaming others.

1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 01:02:02 PM
But for LBRY the curve has turned, so you get less and less coins mined every day.. The price is also low, ready for a boost...
a lot of lbry coins in the users wallets are ready for this boost )))
stop ad your old shit - time to work and make something really demanded ))

CPU usage will show us whether Claymore is using Silent Army kernel or not ))
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 12:11:10 PM
LOL - I am getting squeezed out of zcash -  Cry - just bought (12) evga 1070's and thought I would kill zcash for a while with them.  I am lucky to make $40/day at the moment and now it looks as if daily profit will continue to drop.  Shoulda, coulda, woulda gone with AMD.  I am a lover of Nvidia though.  I will be willing to donate for a better Nvidia miner if anyone wants to organize one or crowdfund.  Hell I would be happy right now with a match on the 50s/s.  I would like better but beggars can't be choosers.

Yup, profits are dropping really fast due to more people getting on the bandwagon and private kernels. It's still 3x more then what we were making a month ago. Too bad DJM didn't actually crowd source his miner. We'll have to wait and see what other developers come up with.

Although based on what that other user said a couple pages back, the whole thing could've been a rouse and the speeds weren't remotely verifiable.
Yes, Claymore already speaks about 50 sols. Not 100. Maybe this was the case with djm's version. But I strongly believe that gtx1070 is capable to do more then 50 ... much more ...
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 04, 2016, 11:58:54 AM
it's 0.006+ with zcash and a 1070 doing 32 sol, lbry is not more profitable

But 1 ZEC is now below 1 BTC and dropping. (The price has dropped 20% the last 24 hours) The coins you mine today might drop 20% tomorrow.
gtx1070 is doing 35-36 sols with modest oc )) And power consumption is a joke ))
