what do you get with the memory underclocked. (-500?)
Hi SP_ , i cannot test that because i didn't do the screen mod to allow OC on linux (I should do that, it is not hard, i'm just being lazy  Grin )
can you tested it newmz?
it should be better than 88 Sol/s in my case but it seems that my processor is not fast enough (low gpu utilization, 88%)

I have made a version of the cuda port of the SA kernel.

Zcash sp-mod #1

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/zcash-spmod1

Low power more hash.
Since you did it for ccminer someone can do it for sgminer...
Can you share a command line because I cannot see equihash algo...
It is not ccminer, it is nheqminer binary just uploaded to ccminer github ))
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 17, 2016, 05:58:36 PM
maybe ... but with recent btc rise and zec&zcl fall I'm feeling ok mining to btc-address )) I don't like to test pools and exchanges. I like to test hardware , bioses and miners ))

How much do you get if you OC? sp-mod #1?

30-31 sol/s gtx750 1480/1500
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 17, 2016, 05:52:50 PM
nicehash private miner is 1-2 sols faster on my poor gtx750 1gb ))

But you loose 30% of the profit if you mine at nicehash. My version works on all pools

I have uploaded a new version with the cuda dll included.
gives me error 0x000007b
or something like that
does it require avx cpu?
you need to install https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 , if error was 0xc000007b
thanks! It works

what params?
I'm only getting 136sols in real miner window, not bench.
gtx1070 with high oc 2150/2400, 2 threads

New version: EQM v1.0.1a

Only adjusted for Pascal cards so far. Report your Maxwell speeds.

GTX 1070: ~125 Sol/s @ 110 W
GTX 1060 6GB: ~85 Sol/s @ 80 W
palit gtx1070 oc @ 117W 134sol/s
palit gtx750 1gb oc 34sol/s

As for the no Linux issue - I think the reason is he can't pack binary to defend it from disassembler under Linux so he stops...
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v3.1 on: November 09, 2016, 11:28:36 PM
i have 2x7990 + 4x RX 480 on the same mobo = 4GPUs + 4GPUs = 8 GPUs

When i run  only 2x7990 i get ~208
When i run  only 4x RX 480 i get ~210
When i run all 8 i get 350. Is there any reason for not getting ~420 when running all 8?
slow cpu, bad OS load sheduler
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v3.1 on: November 09, 2016, 11:27:48 PM
Whoa!

All my Radeon 7950, 7970, 280X with Hynix memory are getting 71Sol/s with V3.1 and "-1". Too bad I can't get "-2" to work.

HACKED BIOS STRAPS.

Poorely this strap hack is not stable on my asus 7990 ((( Returned to stock. Getting 60-65sols per gpu 1000/1500 -i 0

What type of mem does your 7990 have?
hynix afr

Got 85-87H/s on stock 390X.
But need to test it more to make sure it's stable and clean the code. So within 24 hours there will be another update with speed improvements. 100H/s on a single card is close.
can be a pre-beta tester )) have got 7950, 7990, 290x, rx470 and rx480 cards but weak cpus ))

price is 0.0079 btc per zcl now ))))))))))))))))))))))0

And it was 0.03 earlier
would you add a time machine for your upcoming sp_mod zcl private 0.0000a to give donators a possibility to sell at better price?
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 09, 2016, 08:04:29 PM
You mine Zcoin classic.

3000 sol/s will give you around 50 coins a day. With a price of 0.03 BTC per coin you get 1.5BTC a day

Net hashrate is 582,059.00 Sol/s

0.4b is the best .

no real speed increase over 3a, i still get 33-34 sol per gpu, just one more sol per gpu really underwhelming

well zcash is dead so it's not that important anymore
Personaly I prefer 3b - first one with cuda 7.5 ))
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v2.0 on: November 06, 2016, 09:34:48 PM
Seems like Claymore put entire Silent Army code to his miner after adding MIT license notice to readme. Huge cpu usage (( My old athlon x2 cannot provide enough speed for more then 2 gpus ...
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 09:05:04 AM
Sounds to me more like professional jealously.

Absolutely not. Some users discovered it and simply told me about it: https://forum.z.cash/t/silentarmy-v3-now-a-full-miner-multi-gpu-stratum/3580/629

This cryptomined fellow is like a Spanish Inquisition.
Very aggressive to put as much black PR as he can on claymore...

Doesn't look like aggression to me though..

Not even jealousy..

Just facts, that aren't completely true.

I went ahead and setup Claymore's 2.5% fee miner and ran it.

My 2x480's in my test machine never got over 47 sol per card. (Let it run for an hour).
While the Silent army one modified by Nerdralph never got lower than 48!! Even spikes to 56Sol.  Grin
Also let it run for an hour to get a better look on the pool results. And yup, those were even higher then the reported sols as well.

So basically, Claymore didn't take the silent army kernel and implemented it, he took it, made it slower and put a big ass fee next to it and made all of you people think that you hit the jackpot, haha  Grin

And now laughing his ass off watching his "Sols" go up in all those pools  Cheesy and thinking : "Suckers...."

  Cool

Edit: I have to admit, after reading the convo between Mrb and Claymore, respect that he admitted his fault and doesn't try to hide it. Kudo's.

What about cpu usage on nedralph ft. mrb miner vs. claymore's?
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SILENTARMY v3: now a full miner! multi-GPU, Stratum support (Linux only) on: November 06, 2016, 07:30:33 AM
What about performance ? with eXtremal's SA version on nvidia i got 30 s/s on one card, and 22 per card on 6-gpu rig. The bottleneck was high cpu usage.

I don't know we will have to see. OpenCL code has a tendency to need to be tweaked to run well on a device. Current silentarmy runs really well on AMD, but it may not be as efficient on Nvidia. So I will have work on optimizing for Nvidia and this is going to be incremental improvements released over time.
It is wrong way from the start. You'll never achieve CUDA speeds with OpenCL on nVidia.
