Can you test your dagger-hashimoto miner on hi epoch like 150 and 200. What will you get on Polaris? Claymore's is falling from 31 to 17 mhs ))
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: June 14, 2017, 07:58:57 PM
According to Claymore benchmark Polaris card even with 8gb mem is doing only 17mhs dagger-hashimoto with epoch 199 ))
R9 390 is doing 30.5 mhs
gtx1070 - 31.5 mhs

Time to sell your polaris cards while the demand and price are high ))
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 14, 2017, 06:27:13 AM
Need advice from Mister Claymore or someone else.
I'm mining now at ethermine.org (Europe (France): eu1.ethermine.org:4444)
The pool uses diff 40M

My 3-4 cards rigs are doing fine, but I have 2 standalone comps with only one 30mhs card in each. And this one-card rigs have huge (5-15%) stale share rate reported by pool. all rigs have identical and fast Internet access with the multi-card rigs, 70-100ms latency to pool. Is it due to high pool diff and low (30mhs) rig speed? Is there a way to fix this without changing a pool? I can't move this cards to multi-card rigs ((

I'm using latest Claymore 9.5 but older versions seem to behave the same.
Thanx in advance

Never seen more then 33.3 mhs eth even with my record-breaking palit sjs samsung running 2200/2400 gpu/mem. Any proof  about 36mhs with genoil, sp?
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: June 12, 2017, 08:00:53 PM
Of course. And 1080 should do more, at least 35. And 1080 Ti should do 50+. If you check 1080 Ti, you can see it reaches 35, but memload is only 75% and you cannot change that no matter OC. There is something seriously NOT adjusted for GDDR5X.
It is all about latency and I'm very doubt that you can mask it in software when we talk about dagger-hashimoto.
Polaris cards with stock bios are also showin < 100% mem load and poor performance until better timings resulting lower latency are applied. It is not software - but hardware feature.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1080ti's: Better Options? on: June 11, 2017, 01:19:22 PM
Just finished my Beast Mode Build today.

8 x 1080 TIs.

very clean build.

we would be very interested in the details ...

especially connectivity - models and specs of equipment and configuration ...

8 is never easy to build - and that would have been a specific way to build ...

share all details please? ...

I think he did 2 rigs per 4 1080ti ))

This is Ethash with RX 470 WITHOUT BIOS MODS.
My goal is to hit the 30MH/s mark.
I really appreciate your hard work and efforts but you've made a lot of announcements already but still you have no competitive miner in any algo ...

There are many orphans for "fast" coins (small block time). Wonder if there is a way to get rid of them? Or this is a feature why for ETH they decided to pay uncles?
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: June 08, 2017, 04:58:15 PM
i've managed to install 9 cards into one mb (asus strix z270f, windows 10 1703) but unfortunately none of ccminer forks support such a config
it just freezes the system when i run ccminer (tried tpruvot's 2.0, alexis's etc)
if i remove any card to get 8, ccminer works as usual

ccminer limit is 16, so should be another issue, try two instances to check

no, it will not work.
There is no miner on windows to work with > 8 cards.
Linux only
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1080ti's: Better Options? on: June 07, 2017, 06:35:58 AM
2 evilmonkey

Latest fast ccminer's do utilize some shared memory techniques that put high stress on chipset when running rig with more than 4 gpus, I think. So if the mb bios or driver isn't tuned by vendor it leads to high CPU usage by windows "system" process that can lead to CPU heating. Is there a way to downvolt Ryzen?

I have similar problem with my asus z270-a but celeron g1900 is very lower power CPU especially with downvolt so this not bother me too much. My old socket am2+ rigs with amd 770 chipset are free from this problem thow
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1080ti's: Better Options? on: June 07, 2017, 05:51:19 AM
Yes, effective nvidia mining is rather tricky and can be time consuming.
You need to fine tune for every card and every algo.
I have txt file with my findings cause it cannot be remembered. Also I use not only Afterburner but Palit Thundermaster too cause AB cannot do -1000 memory downclock.
Moreover sometimes you need to manually edit freq/voltage curve to get stable effective mode.
And last but not least for Palits gtx1070 I just use SuperJetStream card bioses with my simple Jetstreams and GameRocks as SJS seems to be the best to achieve good mining results.

Well ... just tried on my laptop with windows 7. And it reads conf file correctly. Weird.
That machine with problem was win8.1
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: June 07, 2017, 04:36:37 AM
I try all the ways, even with command line -conf=VERGE.conf with VERGE.conf file in the same dir with VERGE-qt.exe
I tried VERGEd.exe also.
It stays with default, I checked in debug.log, it even doesn't change algo (I need algo=x17)
But when I tried with bat-file with direct command line (yes, very long) it works!
And yes. It doesn't want to sync without -addnode ... in my place.

the .conf goes in the data directory, not the same directory as the .exe
I know that, first of all I tried with

C:\Documents and Settings\---\AppData\Roaming\VERGE\VERGE.conf

But it didn't work.
Then I tried with lower case - verge.conf (wierd ... i don't know if there any difference in windows) - no luck.

Then I tried with -conf=VERGE.com and even with -conf=1.conf  ... but admit ... in last case file was in dir with exe )))
I'm not newbie in that ... It just didn't work with conf file in my system.

Dogedarkdev

Solo-mining with windows wallet works! Thanks for that.
But is was pain to get working synced wallet. It doesn't want to take VERGE.conf neither in working VERGE (... appdata/roaming ...) nor from command line. I made it work only provided needed setup parameters in command line.
And wallet didn't sync without addnodes, live node addresses are difficult to find in this big thread. You should definitely put them in OP

palit gtx 1080 founder edition 700mhs skein @ 140 watt (80%tdp). 5mhs/watt, 62 degrees C with 100% fan.
palit gtx 1080 gamerock        740mhs skein @ 165 watt, 4.4 mhs/watt, 58 degrees C with 75% fan

can you share your settings and system config?
Mine does not do more than 630mh @136w (76% TDP) 65C 70% Fan
System: 6x 1080s gaming x G1820 16gb ddr3 ram

It is just an old amd socket am2+ mobo with athlon x2, win7, alexis miner. Then limiting tdp in afterburner and raise clock and mem while it is stable.

The number i have posted..in peak i saw 124.000
absolute hash is not interesting, I want to know hash per watt
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: June 06, 2017, 06:29:40 PM
How many cards are these?
Assuming my TI is doing 1GH..I would need 117 Ti :-D
>300 gtx1060 )) what is the hashrate per watt of your skein farm, sp?

It was 3 difficult hours I turned to solo mining but without much luck, everything seems ok now.
yeah, the same! And just after switching to pool one of my rigs has found a block for yiimp ))

Seems back to normal for now..
It took 2 hours for me to run xvg wallet and run solo ... and then I noticed the diff is rising ... It was your pool to run again )))
