1381  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Recommended Fee & Slider on: June 09, 2017, 11:13:20 PM
Make sure you have RBF enabled and send the transaction replaceable so if you choose too low a fee you can just click on the transaction and bump the fee up. Then if you cheap out on the fee you have an out.
1382  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 09, 2017, 10:43:40 PM
Replace by fee funtionality is provided in the Electrum wallet. If a transaction is stuck because of a low fee, you can click on it and bump the fee up.
1383  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 09, 2017, 10:30:30 PM
Consider how Trezor functions in a different light. Your bitcoin are recorded on the blockchain ledger, a wallet is a GUI for transacting with that ledger and your Trezor holds the private keys to signing transactions. As I recall Trezor did not want to put advanced functions like sweeping private keys into their web wallet which is designed for new users. Electrum is just another way to interface your Trezor with the blockchain and does have the ability to sweep private keys. Many Trezor owners use Electrum with their Trezor rather than the web wallet as it provides features the web wallet does not, like sending bitcoin RBF.
1384  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 09, 2017, 09:53:19 PM
All your questions except one are pretty much gone over in the Trezor user manual. If you want to sweep paper wallet private keys to an address managed by your Trezor you will have to use Electrum or Mycelium instead of the Trezor web wallet.
1385  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: June 09, 2017, 09:16:20 PM
Who would use Multibit HD if they're not prepared to fix classic. KeepKey is a shit company. End rant.

Instead of being innovative, like Ledger did with their secure element design, KeepKey just forked Trezor open source code. They took the code, made some modifications, and built a business based on original work by Trezor. Welcome to cryptoland.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum wallet which supports hardware wallets on: June 09, 2017, 08:13:47 PM
If you use Trezor there is no alternative to MyEtherWallet for Ethereum.
1387  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is bread wallet okay to store my bitcoins? on: June 09, 2017, 05:48:10 PM
Breadwallet is a  decent wallet for iPhone; with Apple you don't have much to choose from. On Android the developers claim Breadwallet is superior because it only runs on Marshmallow + and uses secure hardware storage for private keys. I use it and have found it slow to sync and fees err on the high side; there is no option to manually change fees. The best all around wallets for Android are Electrum, Mycelium and Samourai.
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store ICO tokens? on: June 09, 2017, 04:44:41 PM
Both Ledger Nano S and Trezor work with MyEtherWallet to hold private keys; really the safe way to use any browser based wallet.
1389  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 09, 2017, 04:00:35 PM
Can I save ETH Tokens on the Trezor or only ETH?
I want to store my HMQ

use MyEtherWallet with your Trezor.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Ethereum Wallet To Use? on: June 09, 2017, 03:57:55 AM
I myself prefer to use myetherwallet, this is very easy to carry.

I agree MEW is the easiest to use since it works simply from your browser but its user friendliness also makes it the most insecure wallet out there if you don't take some precautions.

Just use MEW with a hardware wallet.
1391  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Incorrect bitcoin transfer amount from coinbase on: June 08, 2017, 10:17:17 PM

Let me know if that works - thanks!

$3.32 is only 0.00119767 btc at bitcoin price of $2772, and the fee for that transaction was 0.00252561 btc so you would have to ask Coinbase on this one. Could be a hiccup on their end.
1392  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: June 08, 2017, 09:45:51 PM
I did not send the last update to my entire list, only to those who ordered the moon series, and it looks like a small block of email addresses did not get added when I set things up in mailchimp. My apologies if this missed you.

I ordered the moon series and address was confirmed added to the mailing list, so you may still have a problem with MailChimp.
1393  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Incorrect bitcoin transfer amount from coinbase on: June 08, 2017, 06:51:17 PM
Well, the blockchain says you sent .0001. You would have to post some screenshots from your Coinbase account if you believe otherwise.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paper/Cold storage of alt coins on: June 07, 2017, 08:45:23 PM
Consider a hardware wallet if the coins you are interested in are on the list of tokens whose private keys can be managed by Trezor or Ledger.
1395  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Incorrect bitcoin transfer amount from coinbase on: June 07, 2017, 08:11:20 PM
Check the transaction on a block explorer, also double check your decimal point. See if an incorrect balance is due to a fee Coinbase charged you.

I wanted to update everyone on their 'To the Moon' orders. If you are not aware, I have been posting updates to my blog @ http://kialara.com/moon-production-updates/

I have received the coins from the mint, and I could not be any happier with them - they're even better than I had hoped for - but I am still awaiting the steel housings. When I learned of the delay with the housings, I began to seek out a new, back-up supplier, which I have found. I am still expecting my current supplier to deliver, and they've been updating me on the progress, but I didn't want to take any chances.

The newly designed holograms arrived as well, but I felt they could be better, and knowing of the delay with the housings I decided to make some improvements and resubmit my order at an additional cost of $2,000.00, plus an additional fee to have them expedited - I want to get these perfect, you all deserve that... and I believe I will still have them in hand prior to the housings, which are estimated to ship June 25th or sooner. (19 days from now) Here is my last conversation with my overseas supplier, which I am happy to share with you all privately. https://i.imgur.com/7vMPuWx.jpg

And here is the last photo they shared with me. I will share more as I receive them. https://i.imgur.com/LNwBmoY.jpg

The new/backup supplier has started production as well, but it's likely I will receive my original order first. They encountered the same unforeseen problem as my overseas supplier with producing the steel sliding clip... and also worked out a solution. I plan to use these as part of a future release.

I originally added two weeks to the time I was quoted, and I apologize that this was still not enough time. I have made every effort possible to ensure I do get these delivered to everyone as quickly as I can. I'm working every day on it, and doing my best to keep everyone informed. I also have a lot of work ahead of me, and I'm just as anxious to receive these as all of you, and I'm extremely grateful for the patience that has been given to me on this project and all past works - sincerely.

Thanks for posting. I am confirmed on the mailing list and never received this email. Looks like shipping delayed to first or second week of July now.
1397  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Electrum vs Multibit (or other) for cold storage fork ready wallet? on: June 07, 2017, 07:49:34 PM
If you are going to use an online/offline computer pair for cold storage with Electrum do it the way the developer intended. Your main wallet is on the offline computer that never connects to the net. You create a watching only wallet on the online computer. When it is time to make a transaction you do so on the online computer, take the transaction to the offline computer on a USB drive, sign it using the wallet on offline computer, take it back to online computer and broadcast. This is the way we did cold storage before hardware wallets were introduced in 2014 by Trezor. For most people it is too much trouble when a hardware wallet is much more convenient. There are some privacy benefits to this approach but only when you run your own Electrum server, or use Bitcoin Armory instead.
1398  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST BITCOIN WALLET FOR ANDROID on: June 07, 2017, 05:39:32 PM
I see some members here have already mentioned Mycelium wallet. I use it too and can give all recommendantions. It's secure, easy to use, has many convenient features. But don't use just one wallet, it's good to combine them and not keep all coins at just one place.

As long as you are using a hardware wallet that is of no consequence. The main thing is get the private keys to your assets offline.
1399  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST BITCOIN WALLET FOR ANDROID on: June 07, 2017, 05:04:40 PM
What is the best bitcoin wallet for an android phone? and why? i dont know what to use.

I think the Android device is not the place to use for bitcoin storage. Although they can all be used as web wallets or other hardware wallets, their functionality is always limited, they are not suitable for business.

Using Mycelium with a Nano S or Trezor is as secure as using your hardware wallet with your laptop. You just have the inconvenience of the OTG cable.
1400  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 07, 2017, 05:02:13 PM
Hey there, I just buyed my Trezor wallet and wanna know if i can store TaaS in it? (I didnt received it yet, coming in the next days).

You can store TaaS in MyEtherWallet using Trezor to manage the private keys.

Wait, wait. So it will also be stored on MEW and not on the Trezor? So the Trezor is just for Passwort or what? So it isnt exactly a hardwallet and all my Taas will also be stored on MEW and if they get attack etc., my coins will be lost or not?

Your tokens are on the blockchain. Private keys are in the Trezor or Nano S, not in your browser. Using a hardware wallet like Trezor or Nano S is the safest way to handle a coin or token if supported. Not all assets are supported by the hardware wallets yet. Read the FAQ if you are new to hardware wallets.
