For most people the best cold storage will be a hardware wallet. Trezor was first followed by Ledger then later KeepKey. KeepKey uses a fork of Trezor software. Digital Bitbox is also an option but limited to Bitcoin and Ether. You can get a Trezor right away. Nano S from Ledger is not shipping until end of September. KeepKey is very pretty but I figure if you are going to use Trezor code why not stick with the original.

Here is set no. 51 (not for sale) enjoy!
Amazing, thank you BitcoinNewsMagazine. So there is nothing on the front that differentiates the two, just the #51 is the same? (I know the back is different, ofc). Thanks again, can't wait for mine! The only thing you might notice is the meteorite sample is slightly smaller for the 100,000 bits bar. Here is the back very hard for an amateur to keep reflections out of the photo. These bars are remarkably shiny also heavy at 182 grams:

Thanks for the information. Trezor needs to make this clear in their documents.

If you recover your Trezor by entering the seed into another wallet consider your bitcoin private keys compromised. As soon as possible get a new Trezor, initialize with a new seed and send your coins to addresses in the new Trezor. Most Trezor users keep a spare around just in case their main Trezor malfunctions or is lost. Trezors are pretty reliable but anything electronic can break. I have been using them since they were introduced and had one go bad under warranty and was replaced for free.
You are right man. I have ordered a Trezor some minutes ago. Would be stupid to enter my trezor priv keys in a software wallet. Risk is too high. Smart. When you set up your duplicate Trezor make sure to use advanced recovery. I am surprised they still offer the original recovery method. Thanks for mentioning that. I have only found the "normal" recovery method. Right after purchasing my new Trezor I saw that there will come a new Trezor in Q4. Do you tink it would be better to wait for that one? You have to update the firmware to latest but you should see an option for advanced recovery. AFAIK the Trezor 2 will not obsolete the current Trezors, just have a colour screen, probably larger and easier for developers to add new coins. I look forward to buying one when ready to ship. If you do not yet have a spare I would certainly buy one now and not wait. Everyone needs a spare.

A 23.6% correction is overdue and would take us to $3840:

If any coin has a chance to dethrone Bitcoin from no. 1 market cap it is Bitcoin Cash, because of the backing by Chinese miners. It is a threat to take seriously. Holding your free BCH is the best hedge against BTC price dropping in value. There are some fireworks coming up in November with the possible SegWit2X fork. Bitcoin ABC is the client; Bitcoin Cash is the coin.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer but I do not like the risk/reward for btc right now. If we manage to break through $5000 I see a maximum of $5500 to $7000 before a major (meaning painful) correction. I am talking about $2500 to $2800, 50% correction or back to the weekly 20 MA. You know it will come, we just don't know when. I would rather wait for a huge discount to buy. I hope I am wrong, really, but I doubt it.

No one will buy from a new account here on the forum without using a long established member for escrow. You can always try ebay instead if you like. Your first auction did not go well which will make bidders wary in the future. IMO you should name a reputable member of this community for escrow if you put up a new auction. That way if a buyer does not care for the escrow agent for any reason they will not waste time bidding.

DeepOnion (ONION) is no. 282 in marketcap at CoinMarketcap. Purple unicorns will fly out of my ass before this POS coin breaks into the top ten. The possible next bitcoin is looking you in the face at no. 3 spot just behind Ether. The fight over the next three months will be epic.

Genesis Mining is a poor choice because of high daily fees. You will never recover your investment. The only cloud mining at this time with decent low daily fees is at pool.viabtc.com and they are out of stock. Get on their mailing list so you are notified when new hash is ready to sell, it will go quickly. pool.bitcoin.com is runner up but their fees are higher than ViaBTC. Go with the lower fees.

No way Exodus is as secure as a hardware wallet. If you have a decent portfolio you should be using a Trezor or Ledger.

You don't need a txid accelerator if the tx is already confirmed on the blockchain just talk to Hashnest support.

You will have to wait for Breadwallet to support sending and receiving from SegWit addresses.

You make no mention of private keys which you need to move your bitcoin and are safest when kept offline. For new users the most convenient and secure way to store and use bitcoin is a hardware wallet. Nano S or Trezor take your pick.

Hi guys. I have a question, if I lose trezor, then how can I restore access? is it enough to know 24 words?
Most who use a Trezor keep a spare on hand. All it takes is ten minutes using advanced recovery to restore your 24 word seed to the new Trezor. Make sure to upgrade the firmware first if your spare has been in a box for awhile. More information is in the owner manual. then there is another one you need to buy will ... I thought I could just get quick access knowing 24 words without a trezor. You can restore your seed to Mycelium on your phone but that is for emergency use only as it exposes your seed. ASAP you should get a new Trezor and move coins back. This is all in the user manual. Does not anyone read instructions anymore:)
