1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin helps the economy of all circles on: January 29, 2023, 12:20:27 PM
many people who profit from investing in bitcoin but many also lose because of investing in bitcoin, but the cause of people who lose because of investment
in bitcoin include:

First you need to be clear, no one loses in bitcoin investments because bitcoin is always on the rise from 2009 although we have correction in between. Yes, people lose money in future trading or investing in altcoins which later goes to zero. Anyone who can hold for bitcoin for few years can never lose money.

Now, the other thing is that bitcoin can't be printed, and its supply is limited. Since it is deflationary, it gives chance for both poor and the rich to get the benefit. The rich people can't just print the bitcoin and make it harder for the poor people. It's an open market where you have to get the bitcoin at the agreed price of buyers and sellers at the time of transaction.
1382  Economy / Goods / Re: all type of costumes on: January 28, 2023, 08:24:34 PM
we sew all type of costume, wedding, and american suit. i will accept bitcoin payment.

Don't know if i dare to ask but it will be good if you can tell that you offer Customes only for females or deal in gents suits too ?
The reason i am asking this as your sample pictures only contains female stuff.

No offense but how can we trust your service? You are missing plenty things to be explained, especially the shipment details. Perhaps the shipment fee could be higher than the product's price itself.

We now know that OP location is Philippines but still there are too much things to consider. The first is the size and the texture of the clothes and what is the return policy. I prefer to buy clothes physically otherwise there is always some fitting problem.
1383  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 28, 2023, 07:43:56 PM
What about laptops? They give the experience of a desktop with their large screens and full keyboards, along with the battery that in most cases will allow you to use the device for about 2 hours.
This is the best option for most uses. Probably the only downside of a laptop is its weight when you move around a lot, but there are no perfect devices. You always sacrifice something to get something else.

You know what's cool? Tablets. They're like the perfect mix of smartphones and computers. They have a big enough screen and good resolution to make using them comfortable, but they're still portable so you can take 'em anywhere. Plus, you can get online whenever, wherever. And the battery life is way better than a laptop.

Tablet with a desktop mode feature will be much better, so the experience will be similar as using laptop or pc. Of course this kind of tablet costs more money than normal entry level tablet, but if the main purpose is about to play anywhere, mobile phone is more than enough because currently most mobile phone has big enough screen. I myself mostly gamble at home, so I use my laptop/pc most of the time. I will not gamble in public place although it is easy to gamble with phone, but the main problem is that it is dangerous to gamble in public places since gambling is illegal activity in my country.

Situation like this gives PC/laptop an advantage for people who are living in a gambling restricted places, you can't just enjoy your gambling anywhere, fearing that law enforcers will catch you and will be the reason for you getting in jail, you can simply stay at home and use VPN to enjoy playing, there are casinos who allows the use of VPN though it's still dangerous as they can easily tag you since there is VPN who are being detected as suspicious due to some abusive usages.

Here we are not talking about the restrictions regarding gambling or the usage of VPN while gambling, but it is more about using mobile or phone as a medium for online gambling.

Yes, the risk of doing gambling or VPN options will remain same on mobile and PC but we need opinion as which of these two, we feel more comfortable.

Most people will be more comfortable doing gambling on big screen of laptop / desktop as compared to gamble on a 5.5 to 6.1 inches devices.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 28, 2023, 06:00:05 PM
I've read so many replies in this thread and many are saying that casinos have funds to start paying winners even if they open today but let's not forget about what happened to centralized crypto exchanges, they keep moving money around themselves, they are claiming they have so so amount of money but they don't, lack of zero prove of fund is why the mess of FTX got so bad, not all Casino CEO are pure and its not different from how exchanges runs things behind the scene.

You should not compared crypto exchange to casino because exchange offers a earn program that rewards users a passive income for staking their money on the exchange. This stake tokens is being use by the exchange to invest on DeFi platforms like Celsius and Uniswap to gain passive profit. They are risking their customer money to get more profit for them and to pay stakers.

On the other hand casino just need to have a decent bankroll to withstand high roller early luck because they can assure profit in the long run through the house edge. You should know the difference on how this 2 different platform work.

Both crypto exchanges and casino's operate differently and both have different bankroll requirements.

I exactly do not know which platform requires more bankroll as exchanges should have enough funds to give leverage to the traders while gambling platform should have enough money in the reserve to fulfill those withdrawals who were lucky to win high bets/games. But one thing is sure that both gambling and trading platforms needs high upfront money to start their business.
1385  Economy / Services / Re: Cloud storage Space accepting bitcoin on: January 28, 2023, 12:37:55 PM
But still we have lot of data which we can store on their servers which is not confidential and sharing anywhere does not matter much to us. So that's why i am looking for some free online space for data storage.

How much data do you want to back up on a cloud storage? Most free cloud storage solutions will offer you mostly 5GB free space.

I found https://mega.nz/ to be the best one as it offers you 20 GB free space (biggest so far) and also, they have a desktop app for easily synchronization. I wonder if it this can serve your purpose and you do not have to spend any money too.

1386  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Apology to Bitcoin Community and Request for a 2nd Chance on: January 27, 2023, 11:55:01 PM
I think most people deserve a second chance and I know many have gotten it on this forum, but in this particular case I agree with @lovesmayfamilis and I wonder how many chances the OP deserves if this is the third or fourth? I'm not one of those who was harmed in any way by the OP's actions, and I'm not one of those who supported the flag or left negative feedback, but all those who have a part in it should think carefully about whether it's time to change their opinion.

There is a saying that says "the wolf changes its hair, but its temper never changes".

Basically, it is not about the 1st or 2nd chance , he has scammed people money, not paid them their bounty work and now asking for forgiveness without compensating them does not make sense.

Yeah, i agree that it is not possible to pay every participant with his own pocket but i remember there were some projects where he was paid good by the project team for his efforts of bounty management, but the bounty scam the participants. Why now start by distributing that amount to the bounty participants as a token of grantee that he is really concerned about the bounty participants and this apology is not only to start his bounty management work again.

1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Approximately 384 Days until the next Bitcoin halving on: January 27, 2023, 11:37:29 PM

But isn't it the recovery or the bull run will start after the block halving? So definitely everyone should be excited about the this activity for bitcoin enthusiast. So technically, we are still in the bear market, so even if we have seen the spike in the price this month, still very far from what we are expecting in a real bull run come 2024/25.

But the thing is with this current situation, not too late to accumulate as we have a full year to save and stack BTC and then continue to HODL.

@molsewid - you don't need to wait, you can still do DCA for this price and store up.

For me, the bull run will start as soon as the bitcoin hit its all time low in this bear market. This will mean that bitcoin cannot go below this level and we may see slow recovery towards the upside. Initially the recovery will be slow but after the halving we may see the real surge and bitcoin breaking the all time high and making new highs.

This is another way to look at things. If we keep this point of view, then i think 15,800$ is already the bottom which market hit for this bull market and now the market will recover. The only reason the market can go down below this level is there is another black swarm event resulting in a big dump in price.

By the way, i think it is not the bull phase but an accumulation phase which may last for many months. We have seen this in the last two bull markets, and it seems that history will repeat again.
1388  Economy / Services / Re: IPTV services for bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 03:01:14 PM
Also i have asked what is the different between B1G, 5GLIVE, OPPLEX ? Are they different servers for IPTV ?

As far as I understand from the offer, these services offer programs from India, Pakistan... and it is possible that they all have the same owner, because that way they get more users. The only way to know if there is a difference in quality is to try each one and then decide on the one that works best for you.

I don't think these services are limited to some countries. These services are available worldwide. On doing a simple google search i found this site http://opplextv.com/

Also, an application is available for 5Glive on play store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nathnetwork.fiveglive&hl=en&gl=US

Anyways i was unable to find anyone offering these services on the interent.
1389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC ATTENTION on: January 25, 2023, 11:05:44 PM
That site has been scamming people got years. You could try legal action, i think they're based in Hongkong.

Do you think any legal action against HitBTC will work? They have been scamming people for years now and no action to stop this exchange has been taken by the hongkong law enforcement agonies. I think it is most difficult to stop a scam being spread through websites or virtually. The police is more capable of stop a physical scam.  Huh
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which company will be next to accept Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2023, 06:11:23 PM
For those who do not know, the last company (brand) that has determined to accept Bitcoin as an expenditure method is the Mazzanti supercar brand. I would like to know what you think will be the next brand that will accept Bitcoin to buy their cars, and do not say all at once Lambooo Shocked

It's hard to tell which will be the next company which will accept bitcoin. I did not hear about Mazzanti brand before.
There may be many brands and companies who are accepting bitcoin, but we have no information about them. We only come to know about popular brands.

I would be more than happy to just see my local grocery supermarket accept crypto for a start instead of dreaming about some big name accepting crypto.

I don't think this will be happening in my stores in my country considering the hatred being shown by the government over the crypto currencies. i wonder when that time will come when bitcoin will be accepted in every store?
1391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we legally associated with advertised services? on: January 25, 2023, 05:32:11 PM
I'm not into the law, and there might be differences in each country's legislation, but I'm concerned about this. Am I considered a co-worker of the services I advertise? If the authorities strive for shutting down one of these services in my signature and avatar, am I subjected to this activity as well? If the CEO of either ChipMixer or Betnomi (as examples) is proved to be guilty, am I guilty as well?

Asking a lawyer is probably a better idea, but I'm just curious if someone else had had the same concern before.

First, if you are advertising a service, you are being paid for it and you are not a co-worker. There is a difference between working for a company and being the owner and running a company.

Think of an example that you are a worker in a company. Later if the company do any fraud, the people working in the company won't be faced legal action, only the owner will be held responsible or the board of directors in case the company operate on that model.
1392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: More platforms will bite the dust? on: January 25, 2023, 04:39:57 PM
There are people in social media that have warned to be cautious with platforms that offer high APY and those platforms that have laid off employees from jobs in their companies.

Kraken, Coinbase, Crypto.com and Bybit did the biggest layoffs for exchanges this year according to the data in this spreadsheet which was created by Wublockchain.

This is nothing to do with the cryptocurrencies and i will not say that crypto is responsible for this layoff of employees from the companies. We are in a global recession and many companies (both crypto related and non-crypto) are reducing their expenses and making sure that there is no extra manpower.

I think this trend will continue throughout the global recession. We may see more such layoff news in near future from different
companies.
1393  Other / Meta / Re: Why we do not have an official YT channel to counter mainstream? on: January 25, 2023, 03:59:14 PM
Unless you have enough budget to actually go against mainstream media, then you're likely to not end up doing anything meaningful. Like, there have been so much FUD since the past years even though there are lots of good content out there that already have debunked most FUD — but yet, here we are with still lots of FUD.

Infact we just cannot compete with the mainstream media. Most of the media houses and crypto new sites are influenced by the whales. They have enough money to buy these media houses and produce the news in their favor.

Even if bitcointalk has an active YouTube channel, it would not so popular as the bitcointalk site. Also, we can still compete with the media through this forum and there is no need for any video competition.
1394  Other / Meta / Re: [ASK] Does this forum really have its own wallet platform? on: January 25, 2023, 03:30:14 PM
I just banned it. Haven't seen this scam before but I'm sure they will use alts to try do the same.

At least we can hope that maybe the alts won't be so old accounts (unless hacked and/or bought), hence they'll be much less credible.

Does not matter if the old account tries to scam or a new account because there are always people who get trapped in these fake phishing scams.
The scammer will come with all sort of ideas to scam people which no one can even think of.

It's scam, this is what the looks on that's site, that's person clone this forum.

Few reasons why it's scam:
1. There's no my name below Bitcoin Forum.
2. There's no reply, watch, notify, mark unread, and print button.
3. The thread isn't locked, but there's no quote button.
4. The trust +27 isn't show in green color.

Look like you have opened the site. I would not even click the site because we never know if we get infected by any malware just by opening this scam clone site.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 24, 2023, 05:43:00 PM
If I want to gamble on sports betting, I will use phone because there's not many different between the desktop and the phone interface. But if I want to gamble on slots, poker, live casino which need stable internet connection and more widely than sports betting, I need to use desktop to have better experience and not get distraction due to small view.

Betting on sport matches is time sensitive and sometimes we are not available at our desktops to place the bet. At those moments, phone comes in handy when we can place the bet on live matches and do not miss any opportunity.

The good thing is BK8 have their own IOS and android software to download, so you can play in both devices if you want.

Well, even if gambling sites do not have thier own apps, you can still open the sites on the mobile browser and play / bet on the matches.
1396  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: January 24, 2023, 04:17:05 PM
1 day left for BTC prediction contest to end but seems no participants predict about bitcoin reaching at 24k common guys believe at bitcoin and change the people sentiments  Grin you never know you will be the lucky winner if you predict at 24k mark up since at the moment bitcoin is at 23k.

Edited my post  Smiley
BTC already dropped below the $23K price and is hovering in the $22K range currently which just goes to show that it's unpredictable as usual. My personal prediction is that it will jump into the 24 grand range before this month ends.

I hope I'm right since I don't want to see it slide back down below the $20K range anytime soon.

It is always difficult to predict the bitcoin price. We may see price moving in small range between 22K to 23K and it might break the resistance or even break the support near the end of the month. Also, the prices are volatile at month end, due to the monthly candle close of bitcoin.
I will find it difficult to predict the exact price of bitcoin and you need to be lucky in this bitcasino price prediction competition. The only good thing about this Bitcoin Predictor is that it has only 1X wagering requirement which is very easy to fulfil.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its safe to say Bitcoin has recovered all it's losses since the FTX collapse? on: January 24, 2023, 03:58:30 PM
It seems that people are now getting used to Bitcoin market behaviour, now people are understanding that Bitcoin cycle is 4 years. Imagine if the FTX collapse happen in 2017, I believe the impact will be more drastical compare to today, now I can boldly say that Bitcoin has now recovered all it's losses since the FTX collapsed, is this safe to say?

I never expected the fast recovery that's why I said the world is finally understanding why Bitcoin is a necessity in every one's life, am I saying too much? Or you think I am right?

I always wonder why crashes like FTX does not come in the bull market ? All of these bad events always happen in the bear market due to which we see the price dump.
How strange that FTX Crash, Luna Crash and of these events did not took place in 2021 which was a bull market year.
Anyways, bitcoin will recover but those who have lost their money in FTX, they will never be going to get their money back.
1398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which indicators you use? on: January 23, 2023, 06:36:14 PM
I have been trading for a while now and have hit/miss success with it so I'm interested in which indicators you use the most? For me, right now I use EMA 50, Alligator and MACD/RSI(depends), and I try to make my decisions based on them and on my experience.

I think that all these indicators are lagging ones and they will form when the price action has already been executed. I would prefer to use price actions for trading and using these indicators as a further influence.

The problem with indicators is that everyone sees them and make traders accordingly. Also, whales know the general public view and they tend to go against the majority, causing them loss.

The first thing to understand when using an indicator is that it is not a 100% result. Often, many do not take this into account, and have not the most positive result.

No indicator can give you 100% results. A good trader is the one who can make 60-70% of his trades as success.
There is no trader who can argue that his all trades go in profit. If anyone claims this, then he is not speaking truth.
1399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 23, 2023, 06:20:25 PM
is it possible that bitcoin will increase again in the near future, or will it decrease again.
No one has a crystal ball to predict what happens in the near or distant future, though the latter is considerably easier to attempt to predict.

If you are a long term holder you should not be worried about what happens in the near future, or which DoJ said what.
If you are a trader then, you should not have to ask questions like above.

- Jay -

Anyways if OP has asked this question shows that he is not an experienced trader.

We should know that no financial market moves in straight upward direction. For me, bitcoin will make correction soon as it is now over bought. Bitcoin can fall to 20,000$ levels and if you're lucky you may get bitcoin as low as 18,000$. If bitcoin reaches these levels on correction, make sure to place your buy orders in these levels in advance.
1400  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 22, 2023, 01:34:25 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

You are right on your first argument that phone screens are usually very small as compared to the desktop/laptop computer screens. You will not only face difficultly gambling on them, but it won't be much fun gambling on small screens.

However, when you say that you can't trust the apps, what do you mean by this. You should not trust any third-party apps but if the gambling site has an official app you can trust on it as you would trust the gambling official website.
