Gamble for fun only
lol easy to say from a people that does not really hitting gambling , in which they can easily say words that they do not fully understand.

Quote
Take a break.

Play for fun.

Don't chase your losses.

Stick to your Limits.

Gamble Responsibly.

but these are the best advise mate, a complete way to not becoming addicted and a loser completely.

learn from mistakes and enters when you are ready .

Even with a lot of warnings and cautions it is the person it self who can control it, it is his will power whether to stop playing gambling for good or keep being addicted to it. Usually people who are getting addicted to it are the people who need money the most, the reason they keep playing is either they wanted to earn quick money or chase their losses because they are regretting about the amount of money that they lose but instead they keep losing and losing.
sometimes mate it is also someones way to stop the gamblers to deal in playing , like husband/wife or family members and sometimes even best friend can count
of helping their love one to stop or prevent their gambling activities .
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: April 18, 2023, 04:20:58 AM
Some altcoins stand on their own, they don't rely on Bitcoin, so if Bitcoin crashed down to 10$ there will surely be some turmoil but Ethereum will switch over to the 1st on coingecko and CMC, many altcoins including Ethereum will lose their value but the strong ones will be cut off from Bitcoin and Bitcoin will die, it will also take a long period of time before things settles.
Well, that sounds like an interesting scenario to be covered by your flowers but I'm not sure it's correct. Bitcoin brought a revolution by blockchain, will the market in ETH easily meet the demand then? Personally, I think the path for bitcoin to drop to $10 is pointless and almost 99% realistic of it will not happen. and we probably wouldn't expect too much in this situation.

if it will going to drop that low then lets admit that the crypto is a nonsense and will die together with bitcoin because what is altcoin if there is no Bitcoin around? because dropping that low means there are no support from the people and there is nothing to continue.
but the good thing is what we do believe and that is 10$ for bitcoin will never happen for sure.

Question to users in this thread: If we do future art contests what kind of changes would you like to see? The last few ones have been super close when winners are decided so I'm thinking that maybe if we lower the 1st/2nd prize a bit and add a 3rd/4th place prize too. I'll also run something by Roobet to see if free spins or free bets can be handed out to anyone who participates just a small thank you for joining. Happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this though!
Giving larger winning chances(as to have 4 winners each category) will give way to more productive and engaging participants as they will seek for best result to compete , adding that free spin/bets per participants also a gratitude to give way in aspiring artist from this forum , so even if they cannot win(since they have small chance in getting) at least there is a consolation prize to carry.
you are always a generous person same as the whole roobet team Hhampuz.
I agree if this is fixed the next art contest takes 4 winners and free bets for art contest participants who are not selected as winners.
This will be even more exciting and for sure there will be lots of people participating in the next art contest.
But to avoid abuse about free bets I think should set some rules a bit strict to avoid abuse of these free bets.
and for sure, the thread will be flooded with so many participants and in which the team wanted to see because this will be an extra advertising and of course all sides will get beneficial .

the site is one of the best we have in this community and of course how much they will spend for this event once again.

Roobet and Hhampuz already knew about the possible abuse as the site is asking KYC mate , I think that is enough to less the chances of abusing.

1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 18, 2023, 02:30:21 AM
good catch there mate , though front print is important  but we know that Camera Angle nowadays is 360 degrees meaning even in the armpit still the advertisement is visible so there is no really sense this at all.
and talking about premier league? all the biggest banners are all over the place , adding those tv advertisement .
maybe they are just cleaning their hands but gambling and sports are always go together and this is all about money.
Advertisements, promotions, sponsorships are always attached to a team or sports match because so far, a sports match is one match that is always of interest to many people to watch, even almost all people in this world have their own preferences in every existing sporting event.
wrong , not all in the world has ,because there are some that I knew who never have a chance liking any sports or person in sports.
Quote
It's only natural that advertising has succeeded in getting enthusiasm from many people because in advertising a match, the implementing team will do many things to get more viewers.
they will get there , because we are talking about people who love to gamble together with sports.
Quote
It is true that sports and betting are two different options, but they always go hand in hand where every sports match there must be a bet behind it.
Betting in sports cannot be stopped or limited because it has a large enough money circulation, even greater than what is generated in the sporting event.
there is a money in both , gambling and sports so indeed , they are going together everytime .

The Premier League have confirmed clubs have voluntarily agreed to remove gambling sponsors from the front of their matchday shirts from the start of the 2025/26 season.

This is a move to try to reduce promotion of gambling in the premier league with it's increasing audience, do you think it can successfully reduce the number of people who gamble? What do you think? Will these gambling platforms not just move to other sports, do you think other sports that wear their sponsors name in England will adopt this new development in the premier league?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/premier-league-clubs-to-remove-gambling-sponsors-from-front-of-shirts/ar-AA19Ogeu

I think the keyword here will be "front" of their match day shirts. There is nothing about the back or side of the shirt. I am sure that the sponsers will find a work-around or a loophole of sorts to smear their logos on. Reducing promotions of ANYTHING is a good thing for players because we as the viewers, came to watch the players and watch them play. We did not pay for tickets to watch advertisements 24/7. But as I said, its unrealistic that there will be no more gambling or other advertisements, they will just find different ways to show them.
good catch there mate , though front print is important  but we know that Camera Angle nowadays is 360 degrees meaning even in the armpit still the advertisement is visible so there is no really sense this at all.

1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: April 15, 2023, 03:52:43 AM
The best advice for a newbie in this industry is DCA, it's a best strategy that could fill up your portfolio without worrying the market sentiments whether its a bear or bull market because timing the market is very hard to do so. That's why DCA is the best advice for new in the crypto industry and of course DCA is not for short term purpose but it is made to long-term goal in order to achieve the best profit possible.
it is always best to use DCA though for many this is a hard to learn but important if you wanted to have save your funds in long term process, but also right time(as what OP is asking)?

for me there is no right or perfect time because we all have our own capacity and time, if the market is dumping but you have no funds to buy then the process is nothing, the best thing is to buy when you have funds or money to risk.
1388  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: April 15, 2023, 12:58:27 AM
I don't understand why some members are arguing about what's mentioned in their ToS and insist to ignore that it's written on the top of the main page in bold "NO KYC for crypto players". With this, it doesn't matter what their ToS says. If there is a contradiction then this is their fault not the player's.
I would understand it if OP was trying to withdraw a huge amount of money, but in this case we are talking about few hundred bucks! They should remove that part from their main page and stop making false claims.
It is normal for others to point out about reading TOS first because even if they have this Banner yet we knew crypto casino engagement is tricky and all these years we have encountered so many things like this that casino pretend to be KYC free but what is written in the ToS is far different and they have all the rights to ask in case.

But your argument is correct that this is some kind of fake banner, and mostly a not so good casino will only implement , seeing that Word in top of their site will make players confident about their privacy but the truth is they are being fooled.

I would not recommend anyone playing in this site.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 05:23:18 AM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any inquiry.
Investing in meme coin is risky and knowing that we invest there hoping for large profit. This coin was originally hyped by Elon Musk. Since the hype is ended, it may turn lower again. My suggestion to you since you have purchased it is to hold on to it. There is a possibility that if the bull run starts then you can make a good amount of money from it. Because this coin got ATH up to about 70 cents. Nothing to do but wait. I think if the market get the bull strength you can gain minimum 1x profit for the near future.
actually this  effect happened week ago and we cannot see that anymore now , that Elon Changing his twitter profile made Doge climb good but return to the price after a week.
and yes the argument is correct that not because Doge goes that high meaning all altcoin will follow . reminder that bitcoin is still the one who made this all things come to reality.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: April 14, 2023, 04:24:22 AM
As a beginner it is not recommended to invest in new tokens or coins, it is very risky to lose. Instead of investing in new coins, it's better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum, it will be safer, no need to do more research. in the long term it is also very safe, but note that you really have to consider where you enter and where you exit.
I've found a lot of new coins that end up being scammed and abandoned, leaving their investors with nothing to gain, only losses left.
You are right. For newbies, they must stay away from investing in new coins/tokens. It is very difficult to find good new tokens/coins, most of them are just coins with weak fundamentals or made for scamming people. It is too risky for newbies to invest in these types of coins/tokens, they must focus on investing in trusted coins like BTC. If they want to invest in altcoins as well, they must choose top altcoins such as ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC, SOL, or DOT.

But the sad part that i kept seeing here? newbies are those who are seeking for great return in easy way and that is why they keep chasing new project that they think has potential for them to become rich overnight lol.

they are careless in choosing project but sadness when they fail.

The risk is very high compared to investing in old coins. it takes a long time to decide if a new coin is worth holding as an investment, I prefer to invest in older coins that have seen a journey and survive all market situations. New coins are difficult to distinguish between genuine and counterfeit, meaning that if you put money into it, it is very risky to lose. from that there are many other risks as well as from new and old coins all of that makes no difference
and just like what greed keep saying , it is better to invest in high risk but there is high return  Angry  hope that people will set their mind in longer return than easy one.
1391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 14, 2023, 02:45:50 AM
It takes a long time to have a normative system for new things to integrate into our lives. but we can see a step forward, more and more countries legalize bitcoin, more and more people start to understand bitcoin.
everything in the world that conceptualize to earning or profiteering needs time to develop and understand as what we can see in this market that took 13 years now yet not adopted and accepted by the world.
and still many people that does not have knowledge or come across .
but this does not mean we must stop here , we need to continue our belief and our trust to gain that more attention and support.
lets assume that in the coming years at least there will be more light?
1392  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 14, 2023, 02:19:26 AM
Just I tought on any kind of thread.

Never trust any kind of casino who are offering Non-KYC even they said that, because most of the time their term & condition is always stated about "KYC" with some condition. Only trust casino without KYC from On-chain Gambling.

Never and ever take any kind of word from casino.
correct , and I think the main objective of OP here is to enlighten everyone that never trust all casino that tries us to believe that they will not ask for KYC because in the end while we are winning against them, surely it will be implemented as they have all the reason and capacity to do so.
for OP sorry that he needs to experience this first before preventing in the next event in other site, and for him to get his money , I believe that it is best to comply in KYC because there is nothing to do here but that.
1393  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 13, 2023, 04:50:56 AM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

Any other reasons?
so what about now? have you resolved your friends issue? wondering what is the true reason for this case  .
and what about the respond of that said site? it has been a week now but never that you bring single answer here , wondering what is the reason since you decide to create this thread?
well we are all hoping that you already solved the case or at least your friend already taken his funds out .
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: April 13, 2023, 02:50:53 AM
1 satoshi or 1 bitcoin if you keep them in your wallet and Hold then you are already an investor because you are trusting the coin and this market , and about the knowledge , there are different people who invests in bitcoin , some are those who have deep knowledge but there are also others that just trust this because of what they  believe , this is investment world in which for 10 years and more now are serving people with decent income(of course those who trust this coin)
What is needed to become a BTC investor is, of course, sufficient knowledge, because if you don't have knowledge, of course there will be the potential for huge losses.

knowledgeable or not? you can be an investor mate as long as you are willing to risk to earn and sometimes we need to have this attitude in learning and earning.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH has the capacity to pass BTC? on: April 13, 2023, 01:48:02 AM
The way and manner of speed ETH bullish at times makes me feels one day, the pump price ratio of ETH may outgrow BTC not in terms of how much is BTC or ETH? But the ratio speed of pumps per bull. I remember 2018 when ETH was less than $150 but ETH takes two weeks to bull market. If somebody should be wise enough ETH would be the next 28k dos.
NO, because it was not the only basis that we would think it happen. No matter how much the ETH pump, Bitcoin will remain the number 1 among crypto. In fact, you can see a lot of altcoins had pumped huge that ETH or even BTC but still, it never change their position because this is not the way how to measure what coin is on the number 1 or number 2 but the role and potentiality of the said project.
Well, it was an impressive growth of ETH and investors are happy to see it but doubted if this will take for long as it was still dependent on BTC after all.
and also there are better coins that we can check and wait for this to break bitcoin but never Ethereum mate ,I trust bitcoin to be the number one coin forever but once there is another coin to pass btc? then this is not ETH (well at least for me ?)
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 13, 2023, 01:01:29 AM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
when you place a bet on a casino's platform and it turns out on the losing side, where does the funds goes??
I thought as much...

If the where no profit in the casino business, they'll be little or no casino out there.
you are talking about casino that already existing and operating better, but what about those new sites that OP is pointing? do you understand that there are no same structure of each site?
those operating specially scam site like you advertise mostly has big amount to run their advertising.
but if they are legit but still new then they will have to spend from their own pocket.
1397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 12, 2023, 06:44:58 AM
Both physical and online casinos have risk, they will never tell you the risk involve but you're expected to know that there's risk in gambling and nothing more than you staking your money,
no casino that will tell you the risk instead they will promise you bigger expectation than what you can achieve in gambling.
never believe in anything they say instead learn to limit yourself.

Quote
you may end up winning or loosing when you gambles and that's the ultimate risk involved, but no casino will ever told you that, also when you gambles and considers the risk involved yet not minding about loosing, then you just join the category of those that gambles for fun.

risk is everywhere , and also in gambling there is too much though it is smaller than what we expect in trading or other form of profiteering.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 06:16:25 AM
Please correct me if I am wrong
Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

you don't solve this problem because this is a world act to make it happen ,  education in bitcoin needs to be spread by whom> then in this  our help will be counted because the more we let people understand bitcoin is the more they can become properly understanding.

don't worry mate , even in my country there might be more who knows about bitcoin but the sad part? is they knew this negatively and not the good side.

1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 02:15:47 AM

I wouldn’t call it a scam, beside that i didn’t make a deposit yet. The whole story started when i got the no deposit no wagering required bonus from them and i managed to make a profit of it. I didn’t know that they require a deposit and to wager that deposit by x5.
The casino is Trustdice and also known here. But i believe that many users aren’t aware of their terms.
Trust dice have been here for long time now and year they are one of the reputable gambling site but I have not tried playing in this site nor depositing since i have my set of casino playing.
but thanks for letting us all know about x5 wagering requirements and for me  this is way much to play with since I am an occasional gambler.
Quote
Anyway i may try to make a deposit just so i can withdraw my winnings. Hopefully they don’t close my account because of this topic now Lol
looks like you have got a good amount of winning ?from that bonus ? good luck then mate.
