I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up in a scam or someone is crying if someone about being scammed by this person. only a moron would make any kind of transaction or "partnership" with this person. anyway, anyone who might be interested in working with this guy, beware.
Totally agree, the service is a red flag in the first place already. I mean if OP does have some sort of insider information, why not he/she him/herself do the betting or at least find a way to do the bets if there's some bans or restrictions.

You don't have to pay them though, you can wait it out so that you will be able to save yourself from spending too much in transaction fees. That's the goal of crypto, to make the playing field level and equal.

That's the plan, to drown those country in debts because they have an agreement that they're going to take a portion of the land if they don't pay the debt and it's not really a hidden debt but more like a debt trap, a trap because the money loaned has a condition that it can only be given if about 50% of the workers or contractors in the project is a Chinese company so the money just recirculates plus they don't interfere with your internal affairs, sweet deal compared to USA.
I think I've heard of this debt trap before, iirc it's probably from one of those 1 minute videos by Nas Daily, they did cover this topic although I didn't finish it because it's social media, you're supposed to be mindlessly scrolling through.

Only a little time before we will see a housing bubble with the bankruptcy of Evergrande, and some analysts says that it's probably much bigger than the 2008 bubble. I mean with all the ghost apartments and abandoned sky high infrastructure, there's going to be one that's bound to happen.

Seriously I believe this is a really nice to us in Nigeria I really commend our leader for this and I believe this will definitely boost the economy of the country. Nigeria is also improving because they are supporting cashless policy and I believe very soon bitcoin will also become a legal tender in Nigeria and will definitely help to grow the economy of the country.
But the central bank is still against crypto right? So I don't see how they're going to be beneficial and popular to the crypto community there, if they're trying to make things right for E-Naira, they need to lift their restrictions or do what China did.

SwC has always showed that they indeed have some of the highest standards in the industry. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Well, it's for the sake of their website and company too that they're achieving the highest standard if possible because they know that they're going to make more money if their standards high and their clients and users happy.

Of course it's not okay, that's burst posting and I assume that that user didn't have any knowledge or didn't have any effort whatsoever to make a quality post plus it's impossible to do a quality post in a 3 minute timeframe.

This is the stupidest way that you can offer someone a merit, offering them in the Telegram group full of people that are from the forum and knows that it's forbidden to sell or do any kind of monetary favor to get merits. Good thing that this guy got done in by you good people.

Try this OP although don't hold out too much that they're going to help you, they're still not solving a lot of issues against them and no one has retracted their statement against 1xbit yet because they're not helping anyone.
|
|
|
Good catch OP, good thing that this was caught really early because if not, then probably they would've enticed some people to join that shenanigan and make more money for themselves.

Can some infrastructures run in bitcoin? I don't think so. Can bitcoin be used as a protection film for astronaut's helmet? I don't think so too. Each has their own uses and it's not really a matter of hype that will cause this stuffs to be useless, in terms of investment, it's unlikely that they will ever be truly gone and if it is, it's going to take a long time.

It's probably in the interest of the US just to open up the new credit card and raise the debt ceiling, because the debt burden is never going to be lowered. It's just best to pretend that Americans are stupid enough to believe they can continue spending and somehow never default on their loans. What's even more scary is the 3.5 trillion in additional spending they want to do, absolute madness.
Well, credit card is a billion dollar industry so US government will definitely not let go of that one, they will continue this even though they know that the economy won't be able to handle it, plus it's hard for them to fall because they're a superpower nation so they know their way around this kind of stuff.

It is not easy to buy when it is down. I think it requires a lot of determination and knowledge to do it. For someone new to Bitcoin like me, trying to buy when it is down is a great way to learn. I hope the market can give me the results I expect.
Nope it's easy, you just need some money to do it, I don't know if you need determination to buy when the prices are down but knowledge is helpful. Also, what exactly do you learn when you're buying when the prices are down? I don't know how you can gain knowledge just by buying something.

Why is it Ontario and not Canada though? Aren't Ontario part of Canada? Given how big the bitcoin China has, they're definitely up to something banning cryptocurrency transactions and expecting the prices to dip, they're trying to manipulate the market in a blatant way.

The ETH that you would send to the address to fund the token transfer (e.g. $20 worth of ETH) will be stolen by the scammer (minus e.g. a $2 ETH TX fee). The scammer pockets the remaining $18 because as I mentioned above "pure" ETH TX fees are much lower than token TX fees. Thank you for clarifying, that's a really hideous scam if you think about it, it's making you waste your time and you also don't get anything. Not to mention that these scammers have stooped so low that they're happy stealing measly amount of crypto.

I don't know why they launched their website already. but from what I see it, it serves as an information hub about their project and the contacts that they have on social media/internet. although I agree with you about it being a "breeding ground for scammers", the buyers should do their research first. as you can see it is not that hard to find their website. That's kind of ironic, they're an information hub but they don't have the information that they're not yet selling posted in their website so people know that they're not yet operational so they can dispel the possibility of scammers using their name for malicious purposes.

Fake apps in GS, apk downloaded from weird websites, that's the usual way to get it. Don't download anything fishy, don't trust any website repository because even if they are legit they might be themselves hacked and are distributing malware, don't run any updated that pop in your browser, don't run any auto-downloaded stuff. And of course, don't open random attachments from strangers. Also, normally it would be better to not have the 2FA on the same smartphone you use for daily routine, or not install sensitive apps on it, carrying a wallet app with a few thousand around is dangerous even for real-life situations, not just malware attacks. We need to paint ways to detect if we are downloading safely, especially on phone because that's how some people get hacked or scammed, through their phones which, unlike a computer that has some sort of guard with the help from antivirus.

Yeah they got me too, I deposited just a very small amount, But when I was ready to withdraw they gave me a run around about secruity.
This has been the trend for a long time with this scam websites, they always make some sort of reason why they can't help you, this is what 1xbit does so I am not surprised that other scam websites do the same thing since it's effective.

as far as I know, linzhi.io is their official website. if you visit their website you'll see they haven't started selling anything yet(again, as far as I know). so any website claiming that they are selling linzhi pheonix miner is a scammer and should be avoided.
Why do they release their site already if they're not selling yet? That's a breeding ground for scammers that will do what they did with Linzhi, and they could've prevented it if they were to do something before this can happen like announcing themselves on social media platforms and tell them things there so people won't be easily misled.

***** UPDATE *****
All funds have been recovered and the problem has been resolved.
This thread can be closed, thanks.
Congratulations, if you want to close this thread, you may lock it yourself. Hopefully you're going to be more careful next time regarding this kind of thing because it's a bit foolish to fall for the same thing twice.
