721  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 24, 2021, 05:48:50 AM
~

Although Musk contributed to the last bull run, I don't think he was the trigger. The bull run started well before that.
At the end of November, Bitcoin broke the $20,000 mark, and its price has increased throughout December and into the new year. There was no news about Tesla's bitcoin holdings before this happened.

Really? 1.5 billion USD worth of bitcoin purchase didn't contribute big to the trigger of the start of the bull run? Also, I am just giving that as an example and I am talking generally about the possibility that another company might do a big purchase like what Tesla did.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 24, 2021, 05:04:25 AM
I am both of an investor and a speculator because I risk some of my profits by investing it on different altcoins and NFTs that I think has a really bright future and I really don't want to miss out on the profits that I will get out of it in the future plus I can afford becoming a speculator since I am still young and I am still not bound to death if I were to make some mistakes.
I was hit right on the spot by your words about being young and being able to afford to do mistakes, I think that if I had known that kind of thing back then, I wouldn't have played the game safe which ended biting me in the ass. I wish that other newbies and young people can see this. Don't take @Kittygalore's words literally regarding mistake, the mistakes that @Kittygalore is talking about is probably the one's where it doesn't involve doing crimes.
723  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: July 24, 2021, 04:30:41 AM
As I said, and it looks no one is thinking about it, bitcoin adoption should happen on a VOLUNTARY basis. I don't want to be forced to use or accept bitcoin I want to do that because I decide to do so.
The history of bitcoin shows that slowly and steadily adoption's inevitable. No law, no regulation can make that happen. If you and I accept bitcoin that's it, deal done.
They aren't forcing them though, the law stating that bitcoin becoming a legal tender isn't shoved in the face of the people, they even got to have some free bitcoin to try and use, I don't agree that they are forcing them, isn't that the support that we are looking for bitcoin.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: July 24, 2021, 03:50:45 AM
World fully victimed and coronavirus pandemic situations still have affected. So world economic conditions becoming worse and out of control. Some countries already taken actions against economic impact.
It's not like the damage would stay forever, you already said it, that the countries are taking actions to help with alleviating the impact of the pandemic. I think that as the world recovers from the pandemic, we will see countries from slowly recovering from the damages.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the popularity of cryptocurrency continue? on: July 23, 2021, 02:09:30 PM
I think that it will continue, I mean this is still a new technology and right now, we are still trying to grasp the things that we can do with it, plus there are countries out there that don't have an advance technological infrastructure so that means that even a phone is a big deal to them and when they get introduced to cryptocurrencies, it will also be new to them.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 23, 2021, 01:35:42 PM
I think a really big purchase like what Tesla did could be a really big reason to trigger another bull run. I mean the reason for a bull run is simple, more demand and less supply right?
727  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: July 23, 2021, 11:45:19 AM
I think besides the two, you also need a really good network of people because without one, you will have a hard time promoting your product because you have no support from people that might be able to help you, it's not that doable even without a network but it will be harder for you to have a successful business or investments if you don't have the necessary connections.
728  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: July 23, 2021, 09:09:25 AM
OP means that high-risk and high-reward should not be believed? As a crypto investor, isn't it a high-risk place in the crypto market? Without risk, there is no proportional return, and only if you have the ability to take risks can you be eligible for profit.
Well, OP is wrong in a lot of places, I mean it has been shown that some high risk and high reward endeavors do pay off big time so I don't get why OP is saying that people who have this kind of approach are naive, I think OP is the naive one here.
729  Economy / Economics / Re: Does studying Economics in School make one to be economical or what on: July 23, 2021, 08:37:47 AM
I am teaching economics at the university. Let's just say it provides a basic understanding of how economies work, how cycles work, when and why a recession occurs, and when an upturn occurs, and due to what.
In particular, all this is shown through examples of history. How useful this information will be will depend on your future occupation.
I think that besides understanding, you also teach them awareness of different things that they can use in real life to make a stable economic life.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is Happier: Stock investors or Bitcoin investors on: July 23, 2021, 07:59:06 AM
It's a really hard question to answer I think. I'm both of them. I invest into fiat and Bitcoin at the same time. If you ask me the same question, I can't say that I'm happier about one of them compared to the other. Because I make some profit and lose some money in both of them. But Bitcoin has an advantage also. It can be easier to make a great deal of profit in Bitcoin in the long term.
Welp, you got to choose sides because there's got to be a side that wins. For me, I think stocks has the happier people because they are jubilant when the green is even at just a digit compared to crypto where a single digit even if it's a green isn't pleasing to many people.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to launch digital currency Oct 1, 2021. on: July 23, 2021, 07:11:17 AM
I just hope that this introduction of CBDC isn't going to cause Nigeria to then ban again other cryptocurrencies like  what China did because I just don't think that it's going to be the right thing to do whenever you introduce your own shitcoin.
732  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism: Where Do We Draw the Line? on: July 23, 2021, 06:36:55 AM
For me, it becomes plagiarism if they copy it word for word without even a hint of paraphrasing and verbatim to make it look like they're the one's who said and also, if they credit themselves and not the original creator of the article or anything that can be plagiarized, it will be considered plagiarism for me.
733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I just know this site and it's too good to be true. on: July 23, 2021, 06:02:04 AM
The way their plan works, I think that it's either a big scam or a really good site that really pays you with money and I think that the latter is an impossibility because I feel like there's no such thing as a generous investment so be careful to all newbies and curious people out there, Internet is a lawless land and I don't think that you would want to be a victim here.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheating in the Nitrogen Poker room... on: July 23, 2021, 05:23:31 AM
I don't know if what you're saying is true but I don't think that I am going to believe that unless there's a damning evidence to back up that claim which is pretty difficult in my opinion because it's like you might be the only one that's seeing the pattern and it was all just a big coincidence.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 22, 2021, 04:10:25 PM
It is very difficult to stop an addiction. It's like a smoker who has to quit smoking. But if we really intend then everything will be done. Maybe not immediately disappear but little by little it can eliminate the habit. Expand the positive activities and interactions with many people outside the environment that makes you an addict.
That's because willpower alone isn't going to cut it, there's a step by step process to cure addiction, this is the 21st century so it's not like we don't have the tools and the ability to cure the addiction.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 22, 2021, 03:33:10 PM
They are still on the Alpha stages of their development so I don't think that gambling will be that far fetch idea, their current roadmap with the Land Gameplay is still full of speculation and we don't know they are going to build some sort of gambling there because many speculates that Land Gameplay will feature a lot of things that many aren't sure what is it yet, we have to watch out.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anti scammers on: July 22, 2021, 01:43:06 PM
~

I don't have the money to make a bitcoin wallet just to make a few transactions seem realistic, I want the wallet to be unused, I will put it in the veracrypt encrypted file with a weak password, and another veracrypt file with a strong password, 64 characters all set , to never decrypt it just to waste time and money, I hope to rent powerful servers and not discover anything, so a wallet that has some transactions and is only used is the bait.
I'm not like Jim Browning, I'm a beginner.
I commented on this post in his (Jim Browning) youtube channel under my full name, so ...
That's the problem, you are making a bait that might be problematic because it could go the other way and we don't know it and you use it to bait gullible to give their money to you which is the problem that I was pointing out, you said that you are a beginner so that means you can probably do some beginner stuff first.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anti scammers on: July 22, 2021, 10:19:36 AM
What do you plan to do exactly though? Also, would you be able to create that wallet on your own, although it will probably take time to make it look realistic and it also sounds fishy that you are asking for an address that has done transactions because that seems to me can work for scammers too.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing its importance on: July 22, 2021, 08:56:29 AM
we should not have to follow their every post, because I am very sure behind their posts there must be a certain purpose, they want to play in market prices, they are all the time, even every second they always monitor market prices, they will do everything possible to scare weak hands, their goal is only to make profit, if we always believe in their tweets, our lives will never change..
Contrary to you, I think that we should follow it, because these people can make trends and people that make trends should be followed because you know that they will be able to make waves that you can use to your advantage. No matter what your opinion is about the market and how you hate these trend makers, it doesn't matter because the public opinion will win no matter what.
740  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-07-21 Forbes - Bitcoin: Where do We Stand In Summer 2021? on: July 21, 2021, 05:40:07 PM
The real problem isn't that they take your words, they do take it but they are too greedy to really apply it. If you think about it, you could probably have made it like they do their own research before getting into bitcoin if they want to and you won't waste your breathe telling them the wonders of bitcoin. I don't know how we are going to do it this summer but I am hopeful that it's going to be big, although I gotta ask, what is the month of summer that they are talking about because in my country, summer has ended about a month ago.
