1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tonga May Be The Next Nation To Adopt Bitcoin! Madness! on: June 11, 2021, 01:53:00 PM
These countries aren't that big in the global economic scene so I can see why they want to adopt bitcoin and I can also understand why US and EU don't want to dip their toes yet, they want to see how far and where can all this go.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a rational real Person I dont see btc success on: June 11, 2021, 01:06:00 PM
If someone doesn't see the obvious, can they be called blind? Everyone has their own opinion. But know that we continue to make a profit.
Well everyone can have their opinion but that doesn't mean that we have to tolerate the ignorant opinions, they are dangerous and can cripple generations that do not care about people. Also OP, how do you define rationality because I think you don't exactly know what it means.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: June 11, 2021, 12:20:54 PM
Not completely but if you know how to navigate the ways to be completely anonymous in bitcoin, I am pretty sure that you can probably consider it anonymous. But most users here say it is pseudonymous but that can be debatable.
1044  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Elon going to sell his BTCs? on: June 11, 2021, 09:59:51 AM
If Elon was in control of those bitcoins, I am sure that he would've probably sold it already when the prices peaked but given that there is a board that have to agree with each other before deciding what to do, pretty sure it will be hard for Elon to sell the bitcoins.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: El salvador has become new history of bitcoin! on: June 11, 2021, 09:27:00 AM
Remember that bitcoin was only considered a legal tender but not as an official currency so it's just another step towards adoption of bitcoin. To those who don't know what legal tender is, it basically means that anything that is considered by the government as a way to pay debts or something.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot stop buying on: June 11, 2021, 08:50:30 AM
You can keep buying BTC, but remember, you must buy it wisely and smartly. Loving BTC doesn't mean always buying BTC always. It means how we can control our fund managers to buy and sell Bitcoin. Whether it is for holding or trading, it is no need to panic buy or sell BTC. Buy wisely and smartly, so there will be no regret at all in the future. Although if you are doing it with your own deep awareness, be sure that you have been ready for all risks that you may face in the future. But I hope that you can reach your own target.
You're just tolerating the behavior, didn't you read that OP is feeling like he/she is addicted to buying bitcoin? I don't think that buying bitcoin wisely will be enough to counteract the impulse to buy. I think that if OP can help it, try stopping yourself from purchasing bitcoin, make the purchase skip a day for two weeks and then skip for 2 days for another 2 weeks and slowly try to go up from that, create a different habit to slowly kill the existing habit.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mining plants in China are shutting down. How will this be reflected on Btc on: June 11, 2021, 07:38:52 AM
Don't get me wrong, this news ain't good, but it ain't super bad either. But yet, I could almost guarantee that news sites would spin this around as something super critical. And once again, it would cause bitcoin to drop a certain amount. It's been like this since forever and I don't think it would change any time soon.
Agree, maybe the market will suffer for some time but it's definitely going to be not a thing to worry about for the long-term because the mining can be moved to other places, it's just that it will take a lot of time to move it somewhere since China has a really big mining contribution.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador plan to make BTC legal tender on: June 11, 2021, 07:06:28 AM
Being a legal tender means that they are recognized as a way to pay transactions so I fully support this move by the government of El Salvador, although I am waiting on what's going to be the catch though.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: June 11, 2021, 06:04:18 AM
You are right, after being involved in the crypto market for a while, TESLA released bad news like taking a profit of $250 million in Bitcoin and stopped accepting TESLA tram payments in Bitcoin. I don't know if they've sold off their bitcoins yet but they're clearly disrupting the market.
Nothing to worry about it, I am pretty sure that what Tesla is doing is probably a short-term thing and I don't think that we have to worry about it, if the prices are down then try to buy some bitcoin, whining won't make any money.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Ransomware hacks linked to Crypto are killing Bitcoin slowly !! on: June 11, 2021, 05:12:34 AM
Do we really think ransomware is just linked to bitcoin. It's always easier to justify bitcoin with such malicious action and activities since it's not too private but if do a proper research, you will agree with me that this is actual ransom ware is mostly done by Fiat because it's the inky store of value that cannot be trace one's victim pay money except fiat that were printed from Bank with the only Identification.
Do banks actually have that time to purposely print fiat for a single person? I bet No but they can go brrrrrr for the FEDS Grin Grin
It's linked in some way, because most ransomwares are demanding that bitcoin is used to pay for the ransom because they know that it is pseudonymous and they can mix it to further blur the cyber trail for their bitcoin.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance under investigation on: June 10, 2021, 01:50:43 PM
Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world.  I don't think that binance is doing any evasion.  In the crypto world there are many competitors who might be able to create bad news to bring down their rivals.  The decline in coin prices that he is experiencing in this month is due to a lot of bad news that he gets.  And there are some countries that are against cryptocurrencies.  I personally think.  The decline in coin prices so far is because many are panic selling.  Because they are afraid that their income will decrease.
They might be doing or they might be not but one thing is for sure, this is a move by the elites to try and pressure crypto related businesses to make sure that they are still the boss, this is an old school tactic, lawsuit or investigation to make sure that they will answer to it because the one under investigation has no choice but to comply because the otherwise will make them look guilty.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 Virus Research Criminal Found - Anthony Fauci on: June 10, 2021, 01:11:07 PM
~

This quote  says all- "One way to power is creating a problem with the solution you already have"
I do agree with the quote and I like it because it does describe these megalomaniacs, but the problem is the people are still sleeping on it and I don't think that they will ever be ready for the truth and revolution so you and other people shouting freedom is essentially shouting into the void.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 10, 2021, 12:26:22 PM
Maybe they can try to add some tax breaks to the potential businesses because that can really help the business but they also have to employ locals for their businesses if they want a tax break, permanent residence isn't that attractive to a business because you will probably be moving around places a most of the time.
1054  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 Virus Research Criminal Found - Anthony Fauci on: June 10, 2021, 11:21:14 AM
What's wrong with pushing vaccinations towards people, it's for their own good. Also, Bill Gates has the only foundation that really helps people and society to advance towards a sustainable future.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Human productivity on: June 10, 2021, 09:50:40 AM
That's right, in ancient times you had to store gold properly so it wouldn't be stolen by thieves. So worried first to save a very valuable asset. However, in this changing era of digital era. Storing large assets is very easy and convenient. transact easier. Only a matter of minutes we can invest, send the amount of money we need right. times have changed. most importantly our norms and beliefs never change
I don't think that our norms and beliefs didn't change because I think that it comes together with time, it continues to change. Back then rape was acceptable but that isn't the case now and that's a norm.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: June 10, 2021, 08:56:24 AM
It is more like Elon's influence can manipulate the market. He is the reason why doge pumped very high this year as well as bitcoin crash recently. Every time he tweets something that is not crypto-related, people still correlate it with crypto then it suddenly pumps. I don't know why his followers became like that, it's like they treat him as a messiah of crypto that knows what will pump next. People who are into crypto for a long time want him to be gone and stay out of crypto, his influence is not good for bitcoin in the long run.
I think he knows that and that's why he always do some sort of promotion for some crypto for better or for worse so in a way, he pretty much manipulates the market where he wants it to be.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Ruffer scores $750 Million profit from Bitcoin on: June 10, 2021, 06:41:16 AM
Good for them that they are able to make a profit by investing in bitcoin, doesn't matter that they are a company that have interest in line, they still believed in bitcoin. Now to all the doubters or second guessers out there, imagine you are ruffer but on a really smaller scale.
1058  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin (crypto) worth anything at all?? on: June 10, 2021, 04:58:22 AM
Try reading about supply and demand OP, that's like the basic of Economics, when people are advertised with things, they will buy hence they are the demand and when they buy, the supply goes down and as long as the supply isn't replenished and it gets lower, the prices go down. Another reason why bitcoin has a value is because it has a utility.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 09, 2021, 02:01:34 PM
Current odds:

It looks like Loma is the outstanding favourite base on the odds. But still I think Nakatani will be a tough opponent, and the odds are not reflecting it. Again, Nakatani has some success on the Teofimo Lopez fight, so this is really a big test for Loma specially coming from a shoulder injury.
Nice odds for Nakatani, might want to go for a bit on that one and have another bet for Lomachenko so you can insure that you aren't going to go home a loser since you have a bet on both side.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 09, 2021, 12:11:24 PM
~
Coincidence and luck.

That's mostly the matter in gambling if you've been praying for your wins. You'll never know if your prayer has been answered or it's just a coincidence that luck is totally with you.
Don't rely too much on luck because there's no such thing as luck, it's just a fancy word for statistics and probability. There is no luck, you were just at the right place when the chips landed.
