741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China might really be out of Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: July 21, 2021, 04:49:53 PM
That's good that they will finally be out of the space because people who are tired of hearing about FUDs that are related or have an inkling of relation to China will be happy and relieved because they don't hear that kind of thing anymore plus with them out of the picture, 51% attack isn't an excuse anymore even if they say that only China can do it.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: July 21, 2021, 04:13:52 PM
One thing, which is greed. They see people make tons of cash in crypto, they jump right in thinking that they will be able to do that but what they don't know is the struggle of the person that they've been through to get that much money.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: July 21, 2021, 03:37:34 PM
They prohibit crypto, because they do not understand and are afraid of changes. But this will change soon.
They do understand and they know that it doesn't benefit them and their hold of power so they ban it, that's as simple as it gets as to why these countries ban crypto.
744  Other / Off-topic / Re: Back from the future on: July 21, 2021, 03:06:33 PM
Oh well, if you remember the rise / fall jumps, then it seems like it’s inappropriate to wait, teleport before the jump, buy, then sell immediately, or before the recession (we know when it will be;)

If everyone is going to do this then there's no bitcoin and I don't think that the pattern will be the same after the time travel because the moment they get transported to the early days of bitcoin, these transports will deplete the current supply because they will buy bitcoin as much as they can afford knowing that it will go up in the future.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people who ban Bitcoin in some countries give up Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2021, 02:33:57 PM
If there's really no use for bitcoin in that country no matter how much you try to access it, then they will probably eventually abandon the use of bitcoin but if it's otherwise then we will probably see the people use it more.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin spinoffs devalue Bitcoin over the long term? on: July 21, 2021, 01:56:53 PM
It is unlikely that bitcoin will devalue in this way.
It is unlikely, there are about 2 or 3 forks already but the prices are still doing fine overall. Probably because forks exists as a different crypto and not as an additional supply to bitcoin plus it has to gain the faith of the people that it has a value unlike bitcoin that doesn't have to do it.
747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Catch a thief on: July 21, 2021, 01:25:44 PM
Probably it's someone close to you that have stolen that money because that kind of information isn't normally known by many people unless you are a tattle tale that always brag about your hardware wallet then you will have a problem since anyone could've known that you have it.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Destroy 1,069 Bitcoin Miners With Steamroller In Malaysia on: July 21, 2021, 12:47:30 PM
I am not a miner but I can feel the pain behind those rigs being flattened like a pancake but I am still against their action which is stealing electricity in a country that experience outages, that's the worst thing that you can do because you basically take advantage of other people.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 21, 2021, 11:56:44 AM
Obviously no one is going to do that, the problem is that these so called "scammers" are making sure that they aren't threatening so they do a social engineering attack so the people that they target lowers their guard so they can do it. I think that the real problem is that people don't look out for signs that they are interacting with a scammer rather than the transaction because by that time, you are already defeated.
750  Other / Archival / Re: Moscow Project: Tell About Bitcoin on: July 20, 2021, 01:36:52 PM
Wouldn't you be arrested for that given that the Russian authorities are strict when it comes to this kind of thing, I mean you are inviting people in some gathering.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 20, 2021, 12:01:28 PM

What the Philippines need to get that multiple medals in the Olympics is a dedicated officer that will give supports to the athlete's needs and conditioning. Pilipino has lots of talents and courageous athletes that will dominate the world of sports if they have given the right support from the government but it seems like that kind of support is rarely seen nowadays. You will earn their support just after you win some medals or in the other words, you need to struggle with yourself first before getting some recognition which is the hardest part of being an athlete. As you can see, we only have one athlete that more likely gets us medal this year and that's in the weight lifting women division where she works hard before getting some kind of recognition from our country.
That's the problem, our athletes don't have the support needed which ends up with the athletes asking for donations to private entities although they represent the country, this country's athletes don't have a future here, it's better if they move to other countries where they are taken care of, look at Wesley So, he won't be flourishing if he stayed here.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 20, 2021, 11:19:15 AM
Haven't heard of this term but I assume that the staffs in this casinos are either naked or almost naked even though the casino is really cold. I haven't been to this kind of places but even in a normal casino, there's girls there that offer services if you know what I mean.

It would be a good twist if Valve will have a lot of update before a week or two or even a month before TI10 starts.

That would be a lot of adjustments for most teams.
Don't think that they will do it, IceFrog still has the call for the big updates in the game and IceFrog doesn't want the pro players to get confused in the game, he watches all the The International although no one exactly knows who he is.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 20, 2021, 10:11:09 AM
Corruption is everywhere and we can't deny the fact that there will always be an individual wherein greed will overtake him. But we are just hoping that the majority will do the right thing so the money that they will get will indeed go to the right people or organizations. Let us just look at the brighter side on this kind of action. It is hard if there are people who are after for their own interest.
Even if corruption is everywhere, we should still fight it no matter what because the only time the evil and corruption will triumph is if the good don't do anything. And by taking action, I mean whatever it takes, remember when France did a revolution, if the government is too corrupt, decapitation of the corrupt leader isn't a bad thing.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 20, 2021, 09:31:32 AM

The Philippines would never dominate in the Olympics, they don't have the height to compete with the Basketball, football, and other games that height is an advantage. I believe the Phillippines are mostly good at boxing.

in the last Olympics in Rio. the Philippines has only got 1 medal a silver medal only.

I totally and wholeheartedly agree with you, our country is so delusional in terms of sports that we should play in because there are other games that we are really good at but the support is put into the wrong discipline, there's taekwondo, karate, judo, billiards and chess that don't necessarily need height.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 20, 2021, 08:56:22 AM
Haven't won one but I don't think that anytime soon I will be joining or playing with these lotteries, I find the prizes in those lotteries unattractive so I really haven't been participate in any and I want to keep it that way.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 20, 2021, 08:22:00 AM
I even remember a strong player who supposed to contribute towards his team's win, has intentionally played lethargically and lost. Later he was given penalty for assisting the gambler who bet on his team loose the match. Money is the ultimate addiction here for players and gamblers. Both at times work together on a large scale behind the scene.
That's throwing the game and that player was handsomely paid a large amount of money to throw the game and I think that it's not a common thing to happen so there's an unlikely thing that all friendly matches have this kind of fiasco.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 20, 2021, 07:46:18 AM
I don't think so, gambling is all about luck. The dealer and the casino don't know if you expect a win or not. In terms of our mindset, not expecting a win is probably better because we don't trick our mind. If we expect to win and lose instead than our brain might tell us that we deserve the win, and just need to bet one more time. This could a downward spiral.
I don't necessarily agree with gambling being luck but you are wrong that dealers don't know if you will win or not, I think that if the dealer has a good sleight of hand can make them the ultimate decider if you are going to win or not.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 20, 2021, 07:10:12 AM
If France have the same roster as back when they won against USA, they will probably have a big chance against them but if there's a change, we will probably see to it that USA will dominate the sport.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 19, 2021, 02:32:37 PM
That is if Inoue becomes careless but we all know has speed footwork and he can go inside and outside his opponent's range, Donaire won matches because of the accumulation of so many of his big punches, the key here is to land big blows to the body until he can't run and connect that big left hook if Donaire is going to win here it should be because of that left hook, that is his potent weapon.
Donaire is considerably fast too so I think that more than the powerful punches, I think that Donaire can keep up and probably he can win against Inoue this time.
