141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XDN] duckNote [ANN]. CryptoNote based. Anonymous and CPU only. on: September 03, 2014, 08:17:48 PM
Any reason why repeated attempts to Poloneix to withdraw XDN out of the GUI wallet version are failing?  I am using 0.9.1 on win7 64bit.

I never forget to attach the transaction ID with the transaction address.

Previous withdrawals to poloneix have worked.

Can you see your withdrawals transactions in duckNote blockchain?

Nope.  It's as if the transaction completely fails.  My coin amount remains unchanged in the wallet, and poloniex gets no record of any kind of transaction.

Nothing comes up in the GUI wallet history, or on poloniex's history.

143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with GPU --- What should I do? on: September 02, 2014, 12:56:21 PM
Correct.  Profit on monero with current (public) miners is nil with current GPU / CPU performance.

I can tell you/anyone this much: noone is giving up their cash cow coin.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Could anybody share XCN AMD miner with the community? on: September 01, 2014, 03:03:06 PM
I will release pool XCN AMD miner (for Windows x64) in 1-2 days, I've almost finished it.
Unfortunately, solo miner has some problems since this coin has a strange limitation related to block reward and coin devs don't respond about possible solutions, so I have to postpone it.

Claymore, thanks!  Cool
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Could anybody share XCN AMD miner with the community? on: August 31, 2014, 03:24:03 PM
Miner won't be shared until all profitability is gone.

How many bots do you have in your net?

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problems X11/X13 mining with R9 290 Tri-X OC on: August 24, 2014, 04:01:55 AM
OP, i had nothing but HW errors on my 7950s with a certain few types of coins (Smartcoin was one of them) using all of the x11/x13 mod cgminer forks except for this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658975.0  Not sure why at all.

My baseline config for the 7950 was:
Code:
sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://smartcoin.stonedpuppy.com:9911 -u [] -p [] -I 18

Did not need to specify TC, W, G, or any other parameter except for intensity.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with GPU --- What should I do? on: August 24, 2014, 03:54:17 AM
The "it is what it is" statement of these times is that noone is going to give up their personal cashcow coin.  A couple months back when there were fewer miners and more profit to be made, these types of questions were more directly answered.

What it comes down to is that if it's my ROI vs your ROI or my profit vs your profit, i have to look out for my own.  I say this not to be a jerk, but i see these posts all the time now and i have to shake my head.  I don't typically respond to them (this is one of the first), but i feel the need for frankness concerning the truth here.

That being said, the altcoin section of this forum is all you need.  The other thing you need is basically free rent / electricity, so hopefully you have that working for you.

Good luck  Smiley
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero XMR ... Why do people fall for the shills and bullshit? on: August 22, 2014, 06:08:20 AM
Operating the XMR wallet / daemon is easy as 1-2-3.

Simplewallet will output your address into a txt file for easy copy/pasting into your batch file.  Using the transfer command is also a simple format.  I don't see why people need to bash XMR because they are afraid of command line interfaces.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with new AMD 14.7 on: August 18, 2014, 09:39:34 AM
AFAIK the 14.6+ drivers lock out clock/mem changes for just about any aftermarket app.  Only thing that works is using vbe bios editor to mod clocks if you are running 79xx/280(x).
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with new AMD 14.7 on: August 18, 2014, 08:03:44 AM
This problem was present in the 14.6 drivers.

Best thing i can advise is modifying your powertune % if you are running into high temps.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining problem again on: August 18, 2014, 05:27:27 AM
Ok now I have this config;

J:\bfgminer-4.5.0-win64\bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3368 -u sickhouse.1 -p XXX -G --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S //./COM38 -S //./COM40 -S //./COM43 -S//./COM44 -S //./COM46

I get error message that bfgminer.exe is not a command.

Usually that's a pathing error.

Ensure that your batch file is in the same folder as your miner software.  Also, remove "J:\bfgminer-4.5.0-win64\" from your line and just go with the executable name and the rest of the string.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: August 16, 2014, 10:43:57 AM
What coin is most profitable? What you dig, guys? Smiley

Altruism is dead if it comes down to my ROI vs your ROI.

Sorry man.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gcminer help on: August 12, 2014, 09:54:42 PM
Add -T to your batch file.  This is the text only output command.  It should output a wall of text as opposed to the typical format put out.

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: August 11, 2014, 06:23:23 AM
Safe to say Claymore is done with updates?

He's been awefully quiet lately.  Not like him.

Perhaps he's working on private miners for private clients.  Wink
