In my opinion Altcoin that will rise in price over the coming time is probably XLM. Because each Bitcoin price increases the XLM increases at a very high rate and it follows Bitcoin. Litecoin is a good stable coin, but everything depends of the price of Bitcoin. Besides of this reason I think that it is better to hold a big part of your holdings on Bitcoin and a low amount in alt coins. Bitcoin is the parent of the price of altcoins, of course it is natural that litecoin prices are very dependent on the price of bitcoin, but I do not like that it only relies on one coin so it is preferable to share money in many places. I think that it is just a basis, that is how modern government works and it actually would not be possible without tax system, it brings us mostly positive things.

You are correct that one would have lost less by holding bitcoin than most altcoins in this correction. But it is too late to sell altcoins now that those are rock bottom. On the next big peak, it may be good to convert some altcoins back into bitcoin.

But I know some weak projects with low price but without any chances to be more expensive because of lack of luck for example I think it is situational because if we base only its price of being low that most investors can buy but still there are factors that make an abrupt rising of coin value and one important thing I see is its usefulness by the people around the world so the more it comes to reality and also manipulation in the market by having a massive buy from a selected investors or even its own developer can make a miracle to change the destiny of its coin or generally its team will working together for the development. |

My fist experience in trading was ver cool, it was on July -August 2017 I bought PAY end in several weeks it made 3x from my investitions, then strategy was very simple I bougth, wait several weeks, price increased and I sold them. Later I met first loses and finaly was Jan 2018, i bought TRX and several altcoins, I think it is not necessary to describe what happened then))))
Well you are so lucky to have 3x earn from the amount you invested, my first experience in trading was not good because I got easily panic and after a day the price increase but I already sell my coin at low price because of panic selling. Trading is exciting and more thrill but I think if only we have a lot of time to focus on market movement, as what I have experienced that I select my preferred coin and buy it on its low price but I'm not lucky during my first try since my coin has not grow compared to my buying price and because I am tire of waiting I sell my coin and buy another coin but still unprofitable result, so now I am studying how to be a good trader and I am now start earning profit with my trading. |

You should know what you are holding and be sure that holding that particular coin is worth it. If its worth it, you can hold and if its not worth it, you sell off
If you trust that coin then you should hold it until such time it will increase its market value, not just the veri coin is affected the crypto market fall down, all crypto are down for now, we just need more time and wait for the bull run. For me, it depends on the situation because there are times that you really need to sell your coin even in its lowest price for emergency purposes, but if that money is not that badly needed so I must suggest its better to hold for a few couple of months and wait for pumping price. I had experienced selling my coin even the price was very low because I badly need the money. So selling and holding will depends upon the situation. |

I more than once was mistaken, thinking that green days in the cryptoforeign exchange market begin. But in couple of days again it became red and the price of all coins fell even below.
Volatility is the only constant in crypto currency but still we are now in a bear market but I there's a lot of thing we can do to make us profitable and the best thing for me is to go on day trading to earn little profit but continuously while waiting the green market, be patience and not take long the green market is coming. |
