141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main driving force behind bitcoin rally on: November 08, 2020, 11:46:51 AM
Bitcoin price is determined by many factors, it's hard to name the main force behind the certain price action.
Bitcoin is derived by two major factors happened in the last months.

1. Bitcoin halving which is really what we expected nowadays since we knew that the last bitcoin halving event had a good impact in the market.

2. Giant company (paypal) announced that they will integrate bitcoin.

These two are the main factors affected the price of bitcoin. The rally is just began. We may see a new ath by the end of this year.

There are always positive and negative effect when vaccines will release to the public. If the vaccines will successfully come out to the public, economy gradually recovers but if it has negative effects to the covid patients, we will expect a continuous fall of the economy.

If vaccines will not be release by next year, inflation may occur as well. Every country will depends upon the loans, jobless people will increase and death rate will rise up. Economic depression may experience throughout the year. We just pray, things will become good in the near future.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 07, 2020, 10:51:54 PM
It is quite an easy task to have everything priced in terms of bitcoin. Before that what we need to think about is the accessibility. As of now we're in a situation to pay atleast $5 for a product worth of $2. This needs to change and we need to have transaction fee free access to limited amount. For example if the product value is below $100 we don't need to pay transaction fee. This will make common people get interested in using bitcoin similar to fiat in daily life.
Having no transaction fee seems to be difficult to achieve. But it makes more accessible for everyone who want to use digital currencies. If there is no transaction fee whenever you will pay bills or transfer payment then it would much like as what fiat currency today. Imagine, we can buy products in physical market without thinking that the gas fee today is so much high. The interest to use bitcoin by common people will increases specially when we can buy products using bitcoin and other cryptocurrency with zero transaction fee.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 07, 2020, 10:44:14 PM
This is just a proof that gambling influences much the humans. We affected much by the losses that we bet in gambling. That is why we should moderate our bets because gambling is made not for us to win but for us to lose. It is sad that he ended his life because of losing money with his bets. He never think that he can recover it when time comes and he gets luck. In playing gambling, we must conquer our emotions and fear of losing. Having beaten in gambling is normal, remember that we play it only for fun.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: After elections end this year for all countries, we are all screwed on: November 07, 2020, 10:15:18 PM
After elections end this year for all countries we are all screwed

Reason : They don't need no more votes .

Prepare for tax increase, price increase, lockdowns, police brutality and anti democratic measures .

2021 going to be a crazy year for the world .

Elections are conducted in different years of every country. There is no way for the whole world to have same election year or day. The terms of every government officials are different from other countries. I don't know what you want to emphasize with your post but above all, having a crazy 2021 in the world will become true. There are many manipulations happening right now, disasters and viruses are being casted in each part of the world.

We may say that 2020 is a bad luck year but in the next years, it will become more catastrophic than what we are experiencing right now.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 07, 2020, 09:55:34 PM
3 million dollars will be distributed to bounty hunters, when I saw it on their bounty thread it was obviously not meant to be true. In my three years of existence in this forum, I never seen a campaign that is confident to announce the number of tokens they will allocate to bounty. They are obviously want some hypes because even the scammer Mcafee, is being advertised to their group. Listing in uniswap will never made them popular even the hype is on uniswap exchange nowadays. YOUC has no team listed on their thread and no other team being communicated in their telegram.

Now, will you invest if there are signs that we should not to invest in this project?
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 07, 2020, 09:13:12 PM
Can someone balance me real quick, how do people get losses even though we know that Bitcoin is destined for growth?
is it because people are looking to buy and sell quickly which may result in a loss if market falls?
Because in my view i feel like buying and holding on to your bitcoin until its value has increased(which is an assured) will always set you for profits.

please correct me if im wrong...
It is destined to be growth yet there is no specific time for that to happen. There is no so called "one direction in the market". There are always ups and downs. No matter how we avoid it, losses in our capital will always be happen. Look at 2017 crashed, there are many people who had been disappointed in bitcoin. And if you hold bitcoin, probably you will be upset when you see how bitcoin slowly dying during 2018 bear season. If you want to be successful in trading, you have to know where to buy, hold and sell your position.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 11:28:31 PM
Eventhough, I am using bitcoin for three years I can't use it totally in my country. I just use it when I am going to transfer payment in this forum. The people in this country still have no trust in cryptocurrency. They prefer to use other wallets such as paymay, paypal and gcash. In merchandise or stores, I did not still paid using my bitcoin. However, it is free for us to use bitcoin or other cryptocurrency in my country.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: New peak: $14500. No bearish sign. Keep it up the King on: November 05, 2020, 10:18:20 AM
If we look at the dna of bitcoin. The same thing happens back in 2017 wherein the price moved up at the beginning of last quarter of 2017. Maybe we can expect a new ATH this year. However, we should not expect too much because anytime, it may change its direction. But let us all cherish this moment even other altcoins are moving down. I wish I have enough btc right now because I already withdrawn my money in wallet due to the disaster happened in my country.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 05, 2020, 12:11:17 AM
When it comes to profit making, ICO is the best fundraising. Before, it gives the investors a large amount of profit. But as of now, many ICOs turn into scam when they get the budget that they raised. When it comes to security, STO and IEO are more beneficial. They can give us assurance for the capital that we invested to them. Projects belong here have the potential to succeed because they are regulated by SEC or any government agencies concerned with giving the license. All of them are good to be invested, it just only depends to the hype, legitimacy of the project and developers. Because they might give us profit or steal our capital.

155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 04, 2020, 09:13:11 AM
That is a huge amount of bet, I would be shaking till the election is over. The last time I saw the tally Biden was on the lead, it seems that the bettor is a huge supporter of Trump, I can't wait to see whoever becomes the next president of U.S. Good luck to huge election bettors out there.
Yep, but it would be too comfortable if the election said will become manipulated. No one will risk that huge amount even you are a millionaire. Unless you don't satisfy with your money. Trump is an influential person and he can wipe out his opponents in election. However, it would be also a 50/50 chance since there are citizens who don't like his governance.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 04, 2020, 08:59:56 AM
This is really a catastrophic that happens in the world. The first world countries in Europe will gradually turn down because of lockdown. Many people will lose some of their jobs and poverty may arise. I hope that this pandemic will end already because every lives have been affected by Covid-19. This will kill millions of people because of hunger. The 2020 is almost to end but there is still no chance for this pandemic to end up. It is really sad and chaotic.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Say Bitcoin is scam on: November 03, 2020, 11:32:39 PM
As I have seen the following feedback about bitcoin, all I can say that people did not see btc as a scam. It is a digital currency that provides transparency and decentralisation. Bitcoin becomes scam when you buy it on fake exchange or somewhere else and stored it. There are many scammers around this industry but for bitcoin, it is impossible to become scam.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves - is a Scam and fraud? on: October 31, 2020, 01:28:17 PM
Snip.

Maybe, OP just said it to waves because he had lose a certain value in waves. Its natural and common to lose in cryptocurrency specially if you bought in altcoins. Waves is not a scam coin, it functions a lot to the blockchain technology ecosystem. Waves is listed as well in different exchanges and use by different platform to receive payments such gambling sites. Therefore, waves is not a scam. It is just an opinion based upon OPs idea.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: October 31, 2020, 01:06:45 PM
It is always been an issue for me. I have many projects encountered that has anonymous team because they want to hide their identity just like as Satoshi. But most of them gone because they were scammers. I don't believe about anonymous team because in order for a project to become successful in an industry that has full of competitors, you have to give your investors a trust. How we trust a certain project if we don't know about them. We just build doubts because they might hide their identity due to they are criminals or scammers. Because if they did not, they are proudly of their achievements and faces.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: October 31, 2020, 12:38:39 PM

No matter how much capital do you have, trading is never risk-free. There is no full-proof strategy that ensures only profit.
Yeah, it is possible to limit the risk by putting right Stop loss. Also, the favourable risk-reward ratio also helps to trade with minimal loss. Trading is a skill which has many aspects. Probability of winning is also one of the major aspects. Trading with a good risk-reward ratio will help to be in profit always in spite of having poor winning ratio.
Eg: If you trade with 1:3 risk-reward ratio, and you have poor wining ratio 3:7(you win only 3 times out 10 and lose 7 times). Then also you can earn profits. because you earn 3*3=9 and lose 7*1=7.
So some strategies like this can help you to be in profit but again Trading is never risk-free.
You can only win in a single trade if you hold it and wait fof your expected outcome. By that, you are able to hold the coin for certain days, months or even years. However, it is not possible to have no losses in market unless you really see the future. We cannot prevent our loss even we have the effective strategy applied in trading. If we want to earn, we have always to risk.
