My diamond wallet has stopped working this last week.
I have had no problems with it for a long time.
The last block time was friday march 20. It won't go past this time.
The connections also dont seem as stable as they use to be.

I really have had enough of seeing the consistent raving on of Argon18 at first he seemed to have some reasonable considerations, as constructive critasism is fair enough but over time it is becoming apparant that he is not here to help anyone but to try to damage the coin as much as possible. He must have some kind of motive or he wouldn't keep posting here.

He just cant stop himself from perpetual raving. He has a want and need to distroy this coin and continually discredit the people who are running it. If it is possible I would encourage the moderators of this thread to ban him. I for one never want to read any of his crap ever again.

I haven't been able to find the files you are specifying.
The skycoin folder on desktop contains these files - src folder, address_gen,  blockchain, blocksigs,  cert,  libg_s_dw2-1.dll,  libgmp-10.dll, and skycoin.

I can also find wallet files in .skycoin in document and settings, but the files you have mentioned I can not see anywhere.

What do you mean by "Pull repo"

Could you please specify exactly how to locate these files.

I vote for coin design number 4 which is the original design.

Whatever design is adopted it really should be considered to include the same wording that is around the original design - SUPERCOIN - ANONYMOUS TRANSACTIONS - in the appropriate type setting required, and possibly even include the year it was created.

I think this ipo is becoming a bit of a disaster also at this time.
I have bitmessaged for a few coins but no reply yet.
Things are going very slow.

Apart from the slow progression, the coins are way overpriced at the moment. I consider that they should be valued at under a cent ($0.01 or less), Just like bitcoin was when it started. And there are five times more skycoin than bitcoin.
I wanted to get many more but the price is quite problem at this very early stage.

I have no hope of purchasing any of these coins as I have no idea what to do as it all seems far to much of an involved and complicated process to purchase any.

I have been following Skycoin for quite some time and was very excited about it.
When you first mentioned the price @ .10 cents I found it hard to understand the justification of such a high price with 100 million coins to be released and being at the initial offerings. I thought you may have brought the price down.
I would still like to purchase some but I will purchase far less than I would have originally as it is such a high risk at this stage.

I wish you could somehow make this process of coin purchase far easier so people like myself have a chance to purchase a few.

I agree, I like the original symbol (thats the very first blue one) as I haven't seen anything better as yet.
Although I do encourage people to show any other design they think would be good.

I agree, this coin has very great attributes that is why I wanted to get involved. It has been designed for use. But its just code stuff and useless unless it can be used for something.
I've tried to bring this point up before but there seems little consideration to a meaningful outcome at the moment.
After the coins basic foundation has been created, which is very important then this is all that matters. Nothing else matters. Get this well nothing else matters. Understand this very very well nothing else matters.

If you can't give negative comments about something that you see wrong or disagree with in some way then what is the point.

I find it hard to understand why people couldn't see the conflict of interest in the original Reactor.

Anyone who holds dmd effectively is backing it and behind it. If just a million people held it the dynamics would be enormously different.
Apart from the basic makeup of the coin. It needs to get out of the crypto limited world and into wider communities and made usable in real world trade of goods and services.

I think reactor was a great name and a bad idea, the connection to cloud mining was very wrong.

Few mine this coin because it takes to long to get any kind of reward even with good coin age.
It's crazy how long I have to wait for a few coins. Would rather not bother.

The value of 50% is stupid if you can't collect it.

I'm not a crypto maniac where I leave my computer running for the sake of a coin, although I don't mind connecting up from time to time. However with this coin it's pointless even connecting from time to time as there is no reward.

We need to be onboard with any third party that will enable the acceptance of supercoin as payment as quickly as possible.

It would be good to have some sort of package together to be able to send to possible merchants to promote the use of supercoin with them so they can take it on as easily as possible, remember some wont know about supercoin until they are shown.
It should include the latest ways to accept supercoin as payment for them. and how they can convert back and forth to fiat whatever the method at any given time.

First let me say thanks for your reply. I can see by what you have said that you are indeed able to consider these things well, and it gives me much confidence that things can move forward in a way needed to make supercoin a force in its own right, and a great success as a way of trade.



As far as a steady price goes, this isn't needed for acceptance.
I have seen people interviewed who used bitcoin for sales, and large ticket items, and when questioned about this they say they are in and out so fast that the price swings don't concern them. They are not in it to trade the coin, they want to use it.

If anyone waits to move forward until the price is stable enough in their mind or at a particular level in their mind, or whatever it is they are considering, then nothing will happen and advancement will halt. Forget this way of thinking it is chasing your tail and unimportant.



The merchant (internet or shop) wants to make as much sales as they can. If they see that supercoin through its attributes will increase their sales or in someway open up their market they will want to use it.

The tools the merchant uses that allow payment in super is of utmost importance.
As the easier it is for them the better.
And confidence is also key. And if they see someone else use it then they will likely want to try it out.
People must be able to get in and out at a click of a button.


The phone app.
The payment processor.
The credit card link.
These all sound like a great way forward in development.

With work starting on these types of developments this will set the stage for the future.


The coins true value will really arise when these things are designed and initiated. Together with the coins attributes speed and anonymity, this coin will fly to heights not imagined.

As real trade increases so will supercoins value.

It will also take it out of the circle of commonality which is the very relativity small community that trades cryptos. (this is very important as it has to be always seen by new people). The amount of base use holders will dramatically increase, The coins will become likewise so much scarcer, its use will be needed more and more increasing its value dramatically.

The coin should be able to stand alone regardless of the bitcoin price.

Its going to be important to gain trade with real goods and services.
To find companies that will except supercoin for the coins attributes and making it as easy as possible for them to accept supercoin as payment.

The success of this coin will come in the real world adoption. This is the key.
Any area that takes the coin as payment will be advertising that money can't buy.

I think supercoin is one of the best coins available, and has an amazing future, especially with a new team of developers. Hopefully supercoindev will stay involved even if it is in a limited way.

I'm not a coder but I even know that this is a ridiculous statement.

The idea is that you can send coins from one place to another without the coins being traced back to you.
If a coin can't be traced back to the sender then it is an annonomous send simple as that. And when this coin was being tested it was reported that this is indeed the case.



For wallets to be anonymous they have to be able to be implimented without a blockchain.

However your wallet is infact annonomous becouse the blockchain just shows which address end up with the coins AND not who OWNS THEM.

You can send a heap of coins to a wallet anonymously and no one will know where they came from, but they exist in that wallet and on the blockchain.

It's not like a bank account with your name on it.



Also if you want to purchase anything anonymously , when a vendor uses this coin, you can do so by using a different name along with this coin.

I tend to disagree with this because if the dev has brought a ton of coins to compensate his time, and the coin continues, then walking away at least for now because of other issues, work or whatever is not such a far fetched thing especially as he is willing to pass on the code for others, for the continued advancement of the coin.

I have always considered this coin a great opportunity for new qualified devs since Supercoindev has decided to pass on the coin and code.

Looks like the end of it.
With this coins attributes it should be way above most other coins.
If there's no one willing to continue development of it there's no future.

SupercoinDev are your intentions still the same because soon there won't be a coin to hand over.
You may have to consider something different as soon the coin will not exist.

Thanks cryptonit for your consideration. I know there is a great difference between the coins thats why I thought that this will be good for Diamondcoin Dev's. However people can only take on what they can and that is understandable. But also remember it is already working well and others may help in the Supercoin community. Consider also that the original supercoindev may help from time to time, you may have to chat to him about that though. I know he is attached to the coin, and will not pass it on lightly to just anyone. Although he may just open source it but thats up to him.

I understand your thoughts about the coins name. I also had that kind of thinking when I first heard of it, but when I understood what it could do I got over it and considered it a kind of a fun and usable name.

I consider the cross promotional and marketing possibilities enormous for both coins. It would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Who will take who with them is an interesting thought.
If all is, as I understand it with Supercoin, and have found it to be so at this time. With the right people behind Supercoin, as some with a business sense and economic understanding know already, that what this coin has to offer can easily be an enormous force in the crypto world.
When I do a transaction I want speed and Super gives it.
If people want anonymity super gives it, and does it very well.
There will also be a reasonable amount of distributed coins that will work well.

I see what I see thats why I like Diamond coin, but I also like Supercoin.

I also would expect a purging of the crypto market, maybe no coins will survive. Afterall they are only code, usable well maybe, but for how long.
Are they a hard asset?
And what kind of legislation could be brought in?
As I like to say don't have any money it the crypto world that you aren't prepared to lose overnight and not be bothered with it.
Saying that I like the way cryptos work and what is being created is being done so right now. An interesting kind off history thing.
