141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: January 11, 2021, 10:24:06 PM
When the value of Bitcoin surges to over $19k in 2017 we thought Bitcoin would never go back to $5k but it eventually did and now this year bitcoin reached nre ATH which was 100% more than the previous ATH and this clearly indicates anything is possible in cryptos and thus I don't have any doubts about Bitcoin dropping to new low and bouncing back to new ATH. It's unpredictable unless bitcoin can find strong resistance levels.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we doomed? on: January 11, 2021, 09:02:12 PM
No, it's too early to comment on this, please don't blindly believe what regulatory body has to say because if their words were trustworthy then Bitcoin would have become zero long time ago, but price of bitcoin may go down just like how it happens after every bull run but this time it's gradual unlike 2018 when it collapsed so quickly. I have incurred huge loss in mining post during 2018 wherein my electricity bill was more than the commission paid to me and mining is definitely not the best source of income if you are an individual.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic on: January 11, 2021, 08:01:24 PM
Yes we have seen this before and what I would suggest we were here is that hold on to your Bitcoin by setting up a lower limit of 5% at the value drops five more than present then please go ahead and sell it off by this way you get one more opportunity to earn profits if the value increases. But I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea, now Bitcoin has got more attention from media house and even a slight drop triggers FUDs to go bonkers and if Bitcoin crashes back by more than 50% then it will definitely tamper bitcoin's image.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is being discussed on CNN just now on: January 11, 2021, 07:04:24 PM
It's exactly the repeat of 2018, we witnessed similar breaking news coverage from all the media outlets back in 2018 as well Bitcoin was bullish we witness the same now as well, but the best part is without directly telling that Bitcoin is crashing or is going to go down media will start negative speculation about Bitcoin instill fear in the mind of new investors might panic sell which will cause more damage to Bitcoin.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason(s) why Bitcoin price dropped on: January 11, 2021, 06:21:23 PM
Honestly, it's not only limited to bitcoin but today was a bloddbath for entire crypto currency market and I smell manipulation by whales as this huge drop cannot be considered as correction rather I would call it as dump and I remember last time in 2018 crypto currency plunged into bearish market the same way.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit coin crashing ? $3,000 by noon today on: January 10, 2021, 08:04:40 PM
Fuds have started and I am making this post just as a warning for the users to avoid reacting to such posts which predicts without any logics and moreover there has been much bigger fall which Bitcoin has survived and thrived. We might see numerous posts like this to portray Bitcoin in negative lights. Let's not create more panic by cashing out rather look into the bitcoin's in the past.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 10, 2021, 07:09:12 PM
I am sure you will not get the exact answer here but rather you will get mixed opinions, hence ei would suggest you to go along with the market flow by setting the lower limit as 10% and sell off if the value drops by 10% or more, make arrangements like reminder in various price notification applications to keep yourself updated. By this way you will gain all the profit if the value increased and you will minimize loss as well.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC might go down on: January 10, 2021, 06:38:26 PM
I don't think it will go as per predictions and there are predictions about Bitcoin throughout the year wherein some being negative and some being postive which changes as per market situation and for bitcoin wheter it surges or drops it will coincide with any of these predictions thus people start following he predictor. I think we shouldn't hurry in any decision making and let's wait for actual results then make our move at the earliest.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did Bitcoin raise past $30,000? on: January 10, 2021, 04:02:58 AM
It's not only gamble but there are logics behind it as more institutional money are it thus it creates more demand this gradually increasing the price of bitcoin but other users who invested into Bitcoin in FOMO thus it keeps pumping the value of Bitcoin. The only problem which we will face is when institutions wants to cashout their investment. But Bitcoin has capability to bounce back even from worst dump or bear market.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: January 09, 2021, 08:34:01 PM
I would say it's generation gap if you look at the older generation the still prefer paper currency against the new generation who preferred digital payment method as it's more convenient and quicker way, one doesn't need to carry and safeguard the cash. Since this post was made into bitcoin discussion I would like to make it clear that the digital currency which we are discussing here is national currencies not crypto like Bitcoin.

Sooner or later everyone will be using digital currency and if you have a look at country like Zimbabwe using something called ECO CASH and when country like Zimbabwe can adat it then other countries will follow the same and it's more about awareness which needs to be created for such initiatives.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin outperforming Gold on: January 08, 2021, 08:31:22 PM
It's know fact that Bitcoin has outperformed gold and gold is nowhere even close to bitcoin for a comparison, if we just consider the returns Bitcoin has provided in last one year gold might not have provided that in a decade. But however there are group of people who still prefer gold as a risk free investment medium especially old school folks and those who feels bitcoin and crypto is bubble.

I think we should stop comparing gold and bitcoin as they are not even in par for comparison as they poses different properties and have their own investor base.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the right time to reinvest into Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2021, 07:10:13 PM
I think you need to wait for a while because the price is back to increase again. And if you want to buy, you need to analyze deeper to find the right time to buy, and I do not think that will be easy as the price increases. But if you can have patience, I think you will see a good time to buy bitcoin, especially if bitcoin price can down for a while. If you want to buy bitcoin with the current price, that will be no problem, but you need to calm down if you see the price is down.

Yes I agree with you, if I want to invest into Bitcoin this point of time I need to do a much deeper analysis and also I need to have patience in case if Bitcoin drops down for a while and I know it will not be an easy thing to hold on to your Bitcoin which you have purchased at the peak where others are selling their Bitcoin to make sure at least they receive something of out it or to minimize the loses. I have come to a conclusion that I wouldn't be taking risk at this point of time and rather wait for a correction period to take call on further investment.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin drops to $15,000? on: January 07, 2021, 10:19:14 PM
Yes in case if Bitcoin drops down to $15k we will have users lined up to fill their wallet with bitcoin because nobody would like to waste one more opportunity to buy at low, but as usual there will be FUDs lile we had FUDs during January 2019 when Bitcoin was struggling. But again patience and emotional control place a major role here because some of them who are not familiar with market and recently invested into bitcoin will panic sell thus causing blow to value of Bitcoin which will gradually improve when users reinvest into Bitcoin. I don't think Bitcoin will go back to $15k atleast in first quarter of 2021.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Bitcoin just crossed $40,100 on: January 07, 2021, 07:20:19 PM
Bitcoin is so bullish this year and setting up really high expectations, if you have a look at new channels it's filled with Bitcoin's growth but I am bit confused they advertise this news as a risk factor with disclaimer stating trading in crypto currencies is high risk thus creating fear amongst new users like they did in 2017, the more Bitcoin grows the more anxiety builds up with so many questions like what would be new ATH this year and how long it's going to sustain at this mark and what would be the resistance level if it drops.
155  Economy / Speculation / Is this the right time to reinvest into Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2021, 06:11:10 PM
I know it's not only mine but story of most of us who didn't invest into bitcoin once it crossed $20k mark assuming it would go through correction phase but it has gained almost 100% more since that time and I am not sure if it's worth risking to invest into bitcoin when it's nearing $40k?

Please share your opinion without any generic response like "there is no good or bad time to invest into bitcoin".
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 07, 2021, 05:37:51 PM
First of all I am glad that you did not make a wrong decision but however please understand that there is something called market situation and volatility, you need to act according to the market situation while trading your Bitcoin, just keep yourself updated with market trend as there would be a time when the market would dump after reaching the peak and if you Hodl on that time then you would be making wrong decision, at the same time when market dumps and hits bottom you will see lot of trading buying back to sell at high. You should follow this cycle and also sometimes there is a correction period which you need to consider and should not panic sell.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is FOMO why people interested in FOMO on: January 06, 2021, 10:20:17 PM
Most of th tenured user will not blindly go for the new coins just because there is a possibility of more returns than traditional crypto coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum and other top coins. But new users get trapped into investing into new coins as they lack knowledge about crypto domain and wants to get rich quick but ends up with disappointment. FOMO is a natural phenomenon which gains more weight when people start posting about how a user can miss out of potential profit and moreover it was the FOMO which made many users to invest into bitcoin in 2018 at its peak.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I miss the good old days on: January 06, 2021, 08:11:05 PM
I can relate to your situation as Bitcoin has been like a inseparable part of life for many and bitcoin has changed lives of many people like use, after reading your post I don't want to say it's never too late or you can restart again because a lot have changed and I belive you are talking about those days when Bitcoin was used as peer to peer transaction medium rather than sheer investment tool and those were days when we used to earn $1 for making 5 posts with bitmixer signature campaign, those were the days when we didn't had so many shitcoins and bitcoin was taboo to be discussed openly, it not easy to catch up but still try to pull up yourself from the depression and hold the latch of bitcoin once again.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: January 05, 2021, 08:53:51 PM
It turns out that by the end of December bitcoin could pass more than $25K. This is beyond your expectations and all of us, of course.
Bitcoin reached its highest peak at $34K. This will really give you the chance that bitcoin will fly again to a higher price. It could reach
$50K by the end of this month. Even if it is, corrections will follow. And this was yesterday a correction to the $28 price,  when bitcoin
was at a high of $34K. But we can see that bitcoin could quickly raise its price again.

Exactly, Bitcoin surpassed mime as well as most of our expectations by touching $34k which was earlier speculated for the end of 2021 but within a short span bitcoin broke all records which shows the amount of money flooding into Bitcoin and yes corrections will always be there and we can also use correction period for our experiment to check whether Bitcoin bounces back post correction phase or not in order to stay on safer end in case of a massive drop.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in another Bubble? when will it Burst on: January 05, 2021, 07:46:07 PM
Whoever says bitcoin is bubble has not done enough research about Bitcoin and had it been bubble it will not be active for so many years and when the market crashes it doesn't mean bubble has bursted and if we consider drop in the value as bubble burst then what do we call it when it bounces back?

This will never burst since it's not bubble and eventually everyone will understand the fact it's just an attempt to instill fear in user's mind.
